Rayne's Point of View

Raven's screams ripped through the air causing Bellamy to jolt tightening around my body. I looked up at him and tugged on his arm. "She'll be ok Bells…" I whispered to him.

"Yea. That was me at the grounder camp." Murphy commented, causing both Bellamy and I to turn to face him as I climbed out of Bellamy's arms.

"You know, I did everything I could not scream, but eventually—" He continued, "But eventually, you broke and told them everything." Bellamy cut him off.

"Bells…" I said softly, now was not the time to start another fight.

No matter how right Bellamy was, or how much Murphy deserved what was coming to him. Bellamy really shouldn't be testing fate not knowing if my father or one of his happy go lucky followers where around listening to them talk.

"No, not now Ray… he sold us out." Bellamy spat out glaring down Murphy.

"And you wouldn't have because you're better than me. If it wasn't for the one grounder they're trying to talk to me and keep me sane… I would have probably told them sooner." Murphy said chuckling.

"Damn right." Bellamy responded looking away. "I'm not a traitor."

"Wait… a grounder tried to keep you calm?" I asked arching my brow.

"I didn't tell them where they could find us." Bellamy said before turning back to Murphy.

"And I did. Yea, I did." Murphy commented staring right at Bellamy.

"After they tortured me in their prison camp for three days, but go ahead. While you where in camp playing house with Rayne… all I had was the one grounder talking to me, telling me not to give in, that eventually they would see I wasn't with you guys anymore and let me go."

I looked at Murphy than to Bellamy, why where neither of them talking about the fact that Murphy had gotten close to a grounder just like Octavia had. Murphy had now mentioned the grounder twice and Bellamy seemed so un-phased by it.

"You just keep believing, even if you are in here just like me." Murphy continued taunting Bellamy.

"Seriously you two… stop it. What is this arguing going to accomplish?" I shouted causing them both to turn to me. "Think about it, you two sitting here biting each others heads off, debating who is the worse of the evils… you are both missing the bigger picture here… our people are somewhere out there… in trouble. We need to rescue them… murphy this grounder you spoke too, do you think you can find him?" I asked.

"Him?" He chuckled "The grounder was a girl, and she wasn't like the rest of them. However no I couldn't, before rockets went off and they had captured me again she wasn't with them. They said she went missing, was gone, or dead." He sighed.

"They misplaced her…" Bellamy chuckled.

"Bells." I warned him, he raised his hands slightly in defense.

"What do you mean she was gone?" I asked him.

"Well, before you guys blew the bridge she was with them. Then when I left here and they captured me again… she was gone. So between point A and point B Rayne… she either died and took off."

"Oh." I sighed sitting on the chair after pulling it towards Bellamy. "Never mind I was going to say lets find the grounder and have them join us..." I sighed looking back at Bellamy.

"Worth a shot…" He mumbled.

"I don't even know if she's still alive or would even bother to help us." Murphy growled.

That's when a man's scream replaced Raven's cries and sobs. "What now…" Bellamy sighed.

"Honestly… who knows when it comes to this place." I sighed as the two boys nodded simultaneously at me.

Nova's Point of View

Sitting next to Nathan on his bed as he was reading me a few pages from a book he had found. He seemed to find it amusing that I could only understand a few of the words, and read even fewer. I shook my head, "You are not a nice person Nathan. Making fun of me all afternoon." I smiled.

"Hey, it's not my fault Lincoln refused to teach you English."

I softly punched his shoulder, "Yea, and if I tried to teach you our language you would be laughed at too… by my people."

He shrugged, "That is probably true." He grinned, "Lucky me I guess."

I rolled my eyes when suddenly Jasper moved away from us and towards Clarke whom just come back from being in the Medical ward looking at the bodies. Jasper had decided to tell Maya, Nathan and I about it over breakfast.

"What did President Wallace say?" he asked her.

"He showed me Shaw's body." She said her voice monotone and still, she found something.

"It looked like an arrow wound." She said once she got closer to Nathan and I causing me to sit up from my half laying down position into a more sitting stance as Nathan looked at me weird.

"Well, maybe because it is an Arrow wound." Jasper commented.

"Or that's what they want us to think." Clarke said.

"If it was from my people, they would have aimed for the head or the heart." I piped in causing Nathan to nudge me.

All day he had been telling me to stay out of Clarke's so called delusions. Why did all her people think she was crazy, even me being from the group I was from felt this place was a little bit to unrealistic. Seemed like it was straight out of the time capsule like… nothing had changed since the world went upside down. There was no way it was just the two of us that noticed this.

"What?" Clarke said once she noticed that Jasper was physically uncomfortable by what she had said. "They could have doctored it."

"Clarke, you sound like a crazy person." Jasper told her, "Why do you want to screw this up for us?" He asked.

"I don't know what this is." She argued.

I took a deep breath trying to find the right words to help Clarke, to back her up but nothing sounded right it all just would have made her look crazier and like I was with her in loony town.

"She gets like this a lot, once she has her mind on something. She has to be right, Bellamy and Rayne where the same way. They always but heads… but Bellamy always did what was right for everyone, to keep us safe. Clarke was always focused on her, or getting a way to our parents. Rayne was always focused on Bellamy… brutal." He whispered to me.

"At least your leaders didn't leave you guys to die." I sighed to him as he smirked nudging me.

"This is …safe, this is food, a real bed clothes, and my personal favorite—" Jasper started to say pushing his hand to his chest. "Not getting speared by grounders. No offence Nova." He said looking over at me as I raised my hand to tell him none was taken.
"How long do you think they'll let us stay here if you keep this up?" He asked her as both Nathan and I looked over to see her staring off at the floor.

She then stood up and walked towards Jasper, "Did someone threaten you?" She asked him.

He chuckled, "No. No. It's common sense. Look. We're guests here, not prisoners. What would you do with a guest who kept calling you a liar and generally acted like an ungrateful ass?" He questioned her.

"Kick the ungrateful ass out." Nathan mocked Clarke before returning back to his book.

"Right now, biggest threat to us is you." Jasper told her before he walked away.

He did have a point; there were easier more subtle ways to sneak around this place without making all her people mad at her. If I didn't have to play good pet and sit here pretending to enjoy this book. I would probably have shown her a few of them. I did promise to help her find out what was going on here and to try and leave the mountain with her.

Rayne's Point of View

The moonlight began to shine into the cracks in the hull of the Ark we where in, giving us some light to see each other. We had been discussing Murphy's grounder friend with him all afternoon, with him and Bellamy every so often shooting off threats and bickering.

"Look there has to be something, someone close by we can go to and get help from." I said finally after hours of silence.

"Yea, maybe that person can remove the shackles on us and get us out of the room too… great thinking Rayne." Murphy mocked me as I scowled at him rolling my eyes.

"Shut up Murphy, at least she's being productive." Bellamy defended me.

"Then come up with logical points." He snarled as the door opened and in ran Finn, Sterling and Monroe.

"Finn?" I questioned standing up as Monroe and Sterling watched the exit.

"Rayne… you where in here the whole time?" He asked.

I nodded, "Dad forgot he left me here… easy not to lose me if you leave me in the last spot I was." I mumbled as Finn grinned before kneeling down to Bellamy's level.

"Get up." He ordered him as he fished through the bag in front of him. "We're going after them." Finn told him as Bellamy became more alert to the idea of leaving.

So did Murphy, however his seemed like less of excitement and more of fear. Bellamy moved to stand as Finn moved around him and cut the restraints with a bolt cutter. "It's about time." Bellamy said to him.

"Where'd you find that?" I asked him, "A parting gift from a friend." He chuckled.

"Wait, wait. What about me?" Murphy asked.

I turned my head around to look at Bellamy who seemed interested in the idea of helping Murphy out of his restraints. Only why he was interested in that idea was pretty beyond me. "Bells?" I questioned.

Finn looked to me, than to Bellamy before shaking his head to him. Bellamy however bent down picking up the cutter Finn had left on the ground after freeing up Bellamy's hands. "Bells…" I warned hoping he wasn't going to hurt Murphy with them.

Murphy instantly jolted back in his spot seeing Bellamy pick them up, obviously thinking exactly what I had just been thinking. "Bellamy." I said again as he got closer to Murphy.

"Wait. No! What are you doing?" Finn called to Bellamy.

Bellamy almost seemed to be ignoring Finn, and I as he cut part of the restraints on Murphy's wrist before tossing the cutters to the ground next to him. "He's coming with us." Bellamy finally said.

"No way." Finn and I said in unison.

"He's been to the grounder prison camp, knows a grounder personally." Bellamy explained.

"Knew a grounder. We don't know if she's still alive or even with them." I pointed out.

"He's right. Ok. I can bring you there." Murphy said roughly as he was being pulled off the ground.

"Hey. Sterling just signaled. Someone's coming." Monroe said.

We all soon looked at one another before Finn took me by the arm after he and Bellamy looked at each other. We all left the crashed Ark piece before we could all get caught by the approaching guard. Once outside the ship I looked over at Finn. "Is Raven alright?" I asked him.

He looked away from me before nodding and leading the five of us into the forest. "You don't think they saw us?" Sterling asked.

"Shh. Keep it down." Finn harshly whispered.

We began to rush through the woods till a flashlight shined on all our faces and a man appeared in front of us, holding a few more weapons. One of the guards found us; this could only mean the worst for Finn, Bellamy and the others. "You're late." I heard Abby's voice call from behind the man.

"Bellamy decided to bring company. Just so happened we found Rayne with them." Finn explained causing Bellamy and I to exchange confused glances at each other.

"He's the only person that's been in their camp." Bellamy explained as Abby and the man looked at each other intently before she handed a gun over to Finn.

"Here. Find my son." The man said as he reached out to hand a gun to me. Yet he was talking to Finn and Bellamy.

"His name is Nathan Miller." Miller's dad explained to us as he handed a bag full of weapons and ammo over to Bellamy.

"Bring them home." Abby told us sternly.

We all nodded to her before venturing off into the forest in hopes to find the rest of our people. They had to be at the grounder camp, there was no other place they could have just up and vanished off to. Hopefully with the help of Murphy it wouldn't take us too long to find them all.

Nova's Point of View

I rubbed Nathan's shoulders, as he was arm wrestling one of the young boys who lived in the Mountain before turning to see Clarke sitting all alone on the other side of the room. She looked miserable, that was when I told him I would be back in a bit and left to go join her.

"Not easy being an outsider among the outsiders." I commented to her as she looked over to me and chuckled.

"I think to them, even though I was a leader. I was always still an outsider to them. Put in lock up for a stupid reason, lived a life of luxury in space, and all of them… barely got by before they where locked up and sent down here." She commented.

"All of us are pretty equal, in the tribe I'm from. Once you get into the concrete villages are when you find the more… civilized grounders." I chuckled as she rolled her eyes.

She took a deep breath looking down at the map on her lap. "Don't give up hope Clarke. If I could I would be helping you every step of the way. I'm just so afraid that if I do one wrong thing that he will make me go missing too… just like the rest of my people did." I told her as she exhaled.

"Langston." We both heard a man say causing us both to look around for the solider that had been exposed to the radiation. "Where you going, man?"

That was when I noticed Clarke staring at the man as if she had seen a ghost. "When I saw him this morning he was completely covered in radiation poisoning. His skin looked like he had been badly burnt with fire… now look at him." She told me. "It's like nothing happened."

"How is that even possible?" I said turning back to look at her.

"I don't know but we're going to find out. If you get caught… I made you come with me." She said dragging me from the room to follow the solider.

"We have to get into medical." She said looking at me after we watched the man going into the elevator.

"How do you expect us both to go in there?" I asked her. "I mean you can always remove the stitches… what am I going to do?" I asked her.

"Go back to dinner, trip over something… make sure it cuts you. That way at least it looks like an accident." She told me, Jasper was right she did sound like a crazy person, that and I could now see the thick headedness Nathan mentioned. I only hoped whatever it was she was planning wouldn't involve me disappearing like the rest of my people had.

"Fine… see you in medical." I told her before heading back to the dining hall. I looked around the room for anything that I could use to possibly trip on and hurt myself.

I noticed next to Nathan was a pillar that had a few plates on it, under it was a rack that was holding a few fire pokers for the fire pit not to far off from where I was standing. I shouted his name catching his attention before I bolted towards him, making sure to catch my one foot under the other falling face first into the plates before falling to the ground grazing my arm on the fire pokers next to the pillar.

"Shit! Nova are you all right? Someone go get that doctor." He called out as Maya made her way towards me.

"Nova are you ok?" She asked her voice trembling with fear.

"Yea, guess I just got too excited… making too many friends too quickly is apparently dangerous." I said trying to make a joke.

Soon one of the nurses came in and helped me up off the ground and brought me towards me the elevator so she could take me to the medical floor. "Two in one night, apparently Clarke hurt herself too." I heard the one nurse say to the other.

"She said her friends turning on her for being curious got her all upset and she ripped open her stitches." She said, "And this one got to excited around people her age who aren't savages and fell into a put of glass."

It was like they forgot I was right next to them.

Before too long I was situated on a bed next to Clarke as the two of us looked at one another, while the nurse began to rewrap Clark's arm. It didn't take them too long to stich up my brow and arm either. Once the nurse left the room Clarke looked over at me motioning towards the guard whom was also in the room.

She stood up helping me up with her, "I told you to get hurt not destroy yourself. What did you do anyway?" She asked me.

"I got to the medical wing." I told her as I walked along side her towards the man lying in the bed.

She put her hands on his arm and shook him, "Langston." She said sharply.

"Whoa calm down he's healing." I told her as she did it again. "He's out of it…" She commented.

She began to examine his wounds and burns as I began to look around us for any signs of what may be going on here. "Look." I said to her pointing up at the tubes above us.

She began to walk away from Langston and seemed to be following the massive silver tube on the ceiling of the room. "It all leads into that room, which is weird because I deducted that there is no possible way that there is an exit in that room." She told me.

"Maybe we're wrong, maybe the exit is in that room." I questioned. "Is that possible?"

"Plausible." She commented.

She walked up to the giant door leading to the room with all the tubes, trying to open it with no avail. I began to look around her for anything that could possibly help us get into the room seeing as the door was not going to be of any use.

"That?" I said pointing to the round vent in the wall.

"Perfect." She said as the two of us moved it open before climbing into it together, closing it behind us.

Crawling the short distance to the next room over I watched Clarke push the vent out of her way entering the room. She stood up and turned around helping me up out of the vent. "I have to say Clarke, I'm glad you ended up here. No one else would have helped me escape." I told her as she smirked. "No problem."

Looking around the room I saw two people handing from their feet before us, their blood being drained from them as they hang there basically without any clothing on. Almost as if they don't even matter, like they weren't even human.

"What is this…" I said looking to Clarke almost as if she was thinking the same thing before I watched her stand almost perfectly straight looking at the other side of the room. My eyes followed to where hers where.
They where my people, tons of them, stuffed into cages, the two tied up by their ankles, embroidered with the markings of the people I had been with on the bridge. This is where they had gone missing, these mountain men where using the blood of my people for their healing… Why?

"Nova calm down…" Clarke said to me placing both her hands on my shoulders before taking my hand in hers leading us towards the people in the cages.

Once they had noticed us there they began to reach out to us. Clarke dodging their hands as if they where diseased. Me touching each hand wishing with all my heart I could set them free from this tortured hell.
Clarke stopped at one cage kneeling down so that she were eye level with the person in the cage.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Nova… you said you where with the people on the bridge?" She asked me as I watched the person shift at the sound of my name. "Yea…" I said slowly.

The person in the cage lifted their head up so that both Clarke and I could see her face. I couldn't believe who it was that had been captured. It was the last person I had ever expected to be bested by anyone, Reapers, Mountain men, the Sky people.

"Anya…" I said as her eyes darted up towards me.
