Rayne's Point of View
We stood there looking at Clarke, her face had so many scars all across it. The pain the grounders must have put her through looks as if it was extremely extensive. She must have fought so hard to escape them, Raven walked over joining the four of us. She smiled softly at as she allowed the crutches to fully support her body weight.
"How many are with you?" Bellamy asked Clarke as he pulled me closer into him, his arm wrapped around me.
"None." Clarke said, causing my heart to sink. Everyone was still missing? She left them there with the grounders? "Where's Finn?" She asked next.
I could see the look in Raven's eyes; she was wondering the exact same thing. Finn, Bellamy, Murphy, Sterling, Monroe and I left. Bellamy, Octavia, Monroe, Mel and I returned. Raven looked directly at me for an answer knowing I wouldn't lie to her. I shook my head softly to tell her he wasn't with us.
"Looking for you." Bellamy spat at Clarke; the tone in his voice threw me back a bit. Like he was angry with her for being here, safe and alive.
Bellamy and I walked back to the ship with Clarke talking about where she had been and what was going on. She had told us about the tests they where putting on the grounders, how the reapers work along side the Mount Weather people. She was telling us how the threw away all their belongings, that they treated them like they belonged there.
"He told me all of you where dead, that he had people out looking for you." She continued as we all sat down in this room waiting for Abby.
"We've been trying to find you guys ever since the morning after the entire attack." Bellamy said as he leaned against a wall.
"What else was going on up there?" I asked her.
"There was this grounder in there; Wallace acted as if she was his child. She always said she was his pet, and she had to behave and do what she was told… she wanted out of there, I made a promise with her that I would go back with the army Anya was going to get and our people… get her and her people out of there as well as ours. In exchange she would make sure our friends were kept safe."
"You made a deal with a grounder?" Bellamy said.
"Yea, I did. She wanted to get out of there and get them back as much as I did. Once she saw what they where doing to her people, yes she agreed to help us."
"Then we should go get her," Octavia said.
"Nova and our people are safe for now… there's no telling what those people will do to any of them." Clarke commented.
"Her name is Nova… really?" I commented.
"She's actually really nice… you know maybe if things had gone differently Lincoln would be with us helping us."
"Lincoln tried to help us, look how that worked." Octavia snarled.
"O' not now." I said as she rolled her eyes and leaned back.
Soon enough Abby walked into the room and pulled Clarke aside to talk to her. "What? No!" Clarke shouted at her catching our attention to listen to the conversation. "You can't just cut them loose."
"Sweetheart, we don't have the manpower to send out two separate rescue missions and protect our camp." Abby said almost spelling it out that had Bellamy and the rest of us not come back that they would not have gone looking for us.
"So if we were still out there you wouldn't come get us?" I asked only to be met with silence and a long hard glare from Abby.
"Mom. They're in trouble. They're either gonna get themselves killed or they're gonna make things worse with the grounders, who we need to get our people out of Mount Weather." Clarke continued.
"I know you feel this is unfair. But our priority has to be with Chancellor Kane, we need Rayne's father if we want or have any hope for peace."
I rolled my eyes; anyone who was a figure of authority in this camp could go attempt peace with the grounders. We know how trying to broker peace with them worked out the last time. Bridge blew up and Clarke's new grounder friend ended up in the Mountain where our friends where being held captive.
"If you wanted peace, you shouldn't have killed one of the only grounders who were going to help us."
"There are others?" Abby asked.
"Yea, Mom she is stuck in the Mountain along with all our friends. We needed Anya to get her people to help us."
"I'm sorry." Abby said quickly. "The decision's been made."
"You're sorry?" Bellamy said as I reached my hand out to grab his arm. I could feel the pain in his voice, the council was condemning Finn and Murphy to death for trying to save their kids. I knew this pain, because I felt it too.
"Finn and Murphy are out there looking for your daughter, with guns you gave us, and now she's home, you're just going to abandon them?" He asked her as I moved closer to him.
"My father wouldn't leave Clarke out there if it was her looking for me, even if I was here and safe." I added on for him.
"Than you didn't know your Father very well." Abby spat at me causing me to shake my head.
"Unbelievable." I mumbled moving back away from her towards a wall.
"If you can't spare the guards," Bellamy started to say making me move with him towards Abby. "We know the terrain, we have a map. We can do it ourselves." He said as both Clarke and I nodded our heads in agreement. "Absolutely not." Abby quickly snapped.
"Mom." Clarke started to say, "I just got you back." Abby yelled at Clarke.
"Abby." Jackson said as he entered the room. "I'm sorry. We need you in medical." He explained.
"You better go." Clarke said sarcastically.
"Byrne?" Abby called out as the head of the guard looked over at us.
"No one leaves this camp." Abby told her as the three of us, four if you included Octavia whom wasn't really paying this any attention. Stood there in silence. "Yes, Ma'am."
Bellamy and I stood there looking at each other as Octaiva stood up walking over, soon followed by Clarke. "We're gonna need guns." She told us causing both Bellamy and I to crack a smile.
Soon after Bellamy and I left the Ark looking for Miller's dad who had helped us get the guns before. Once he'd agreed he told us that he would send Raven out to meet us with them. We headed out of the ship walking around looking for Raven, Clarke and Octavia as we needed to start getting ready to leave the camp.
Bellamy called it, we needed to find Finn before he did worse than what he had already done to that one grounder. We met by the edge of the camp when we saw Raven head behind a giant piece of metal with a large bag.
Once around with them Raven was already at it with the topic of leaving. "I scored you a couple extra clips." Bellamy nodded as he handed me one of the guns and a backpack. I nodded having already snuck out a few medical supplies and some food.
Clarke soon walked up to us with her own pack, "Hey. My mom's in surgery, and the team going after Kane just left. We should, too." She explained as the three of us nodded.
"Did you find Octavia?" Bellamy asked Clarke and Raven and they both shook their heads no.
"No. I found you." She said walking around the side of the metal behind us. "O'" I said with a smile as she smirked back at me.
"I'm not letting you leave here without me." She continued.
"Octavia—" Clarke began to say until she was cut off.
"Finn and Murphy are headed for Lincoln's village. I've been there have you?" She asked. "Has she?"
"You done?" Bellamy asked sarcastically as she stood there propping her hand up on her hip.
Clarke then handed over another backpack to Bellamy whom gave it to Octavia, all of us grinning wildly at her. "What's this?" She asked.
"Your pack." I told her softly. "Lead the way." Bellamy than told her.
Octavia moved to leave the camp through the wires when Raven stopped her by holding out her crutch to stop her. "Woah. Not so fast, Pocahontas." Before lightly tapping the wire causing the electricity to snap at us.
"I thought you said it was handled." Clarke asked her as Bellamy pulled me away from the fence and closer to him. "It is." Raven explained pulling a walkie up close to her mouth.
"Shut her down, Wick."
With a few more beeps through the radio and she tapped the wired fence again. This time nothing happened, no snaps no nothing. She smiled at us happily that she had done her part in getting us out of the camp. "Handled." She said proudly.
Octavia threw her bag out the camp onto the ground followed by myself after her and Bellamy after me. We all stood there for a moment taking one last look at the camp, at Raven. Who knew how this rescue mission would end, or what was going to happen to us once we returned. If we did, "Don't forget to turn the wires back on." I told her as she gave me a strange look.
"We obviously have to come back in through the entrance, it'd be too obvious if Finn and Murphy came back on their own otherwise." Bellamy nodded. "She has a point." Octavia said for him.
He instantly looked over at her as she shrugged. "What, we were all thinking it." She grinned before we all turned around and rushed into the woods with the hope that we wouldn't be caught.
Nova's Point of View
Walking through the woods with my people as the rain began to pour down on us I couldn't help but think back to the promise I had made Clarke to keep her people safe. It was something in Anya's eyes that told me she couldn't be trusted. What happened after the bridge, no one would tell me what happened.
"Azrath…" I questioned.
He turned smiling at me as I pushed the wet hair that clung to my face out of the way, "What of this Octavia… is she a threat?" I asked him.
"No, unfortunately she is no threat to our people. I think she in fact wishes to join us." He told me.
"Indra would never allow that."
He chuckled as we entered one of the cave hideouts to keep a little dry through out the evening before we would continue back to the camp in the morning. "No, she wouldn't. She would have her killed after what she tried to do to Nyko."
I nodded, "We have to get back to the camp. I don't like this waiting around."
He sighed sitting next to me on one of the many rocks. Our people sat around, some of us sleeping and others just resting. We'd been walking for nearly an entire day with no breaks for water. I looked over at the man next to me again. "You are sure she will let me back into the clan?"
He chuckled; "Of course she will, you rescued us… Nova… she would be stupid not to, besides you said Anya escaped… she wouldn't allow you to be cast away or killed."
"Why not?"
"You where to replace Triss once they found you as her second."
"I've done nothing to receive that honor from her…"
He chuckled; "Nova, we're going to need someone to lead the troops against the mountain men, and the sky people."
I nodded; "Yea… we will, we can't trust either of them."
Once the rain had stopped we all stood up and left the cave heading for the camp once again. I wasn't sure what we were going to do for camp during the night and honestly I could barely remember the way back to the camp. It had been years since either my brother or I had even been allowed to step foot near the camp without fear of death. This was going to be one hell of a journey that was go sure.
