Chapter 56: Fighter's Fatigue and Vore
They said he was dead.
They said he had quit.
They. Were. WRONG!
Okay, this took a while. More on that later. But I'm not dead! I think I'll go for a walk! I feel happy... I feel happy...
Anyway, a ton of crap has happened. Again, more on that later. However, I've got much more of an idea for what I'm going to do with the next chapter than I had with this one. So hopefully, circumstances allowing, I should be able to start on it soon.
So two reviews for last chapter! Gigarot, the very first thing I had in the chapter was a reference! I like to make them. And referencing my references with a reference itself? We must go deeper. And a drunk Kagami was super fun to write. I think she needs to cut loose more...
Z-kun, thank you for the compliment! Glad to see you're still enjoying it!
With all of that said, I suppose you didn't come here to see me drabble on. More on THAT later.
(EDIT) That's a good point, guest! With how long these take to come out, I really should start putting a short summary of the previous chapter!
Luckier Star Kai 55
"I'm sick!" Tony shouted.
"I'm not!" Tsukasa said. She coughed. "Oh! Never mind! But don't tell Kan-kun~!" She said.
"Hey Dad." Konata waved.
"Hey Konata. I love you now!" Sojiro said.
"Cool, I love you too Dad!" Konata said.
"Now get out of my house!" Sojiro said.
"Onward to my house!" Kagami shouted.
H-A-P-P-Y E-N-D
"I don't want to be taken care of!" Tony complained.
"You're being taken care of." Tsukasa said. "I'm taking care of you, I'm gonna sing, then take a nap." Tsukasa said.
"I'm home~!" Konata cheered.
"Cheerful Konatan GET!" Matsuri shouted.
"Matsuri, I swear to god if I don't get that photo, I will END you!" Kagami shouted.
"On it's way, Imoto!" Matsuri shouted. Kagami cheered.
"Woohoo, let's get drunk!" She said.
"I'm playing at the bar by coincidence!" Masuta said.
"And I'm here too!" Miyuki said.
"Momsie, why aren' yu drunker?" Kagami asked.
"Because I'm not." Miki said.
"Fa'r 'nough..." Kagami laughed wildly before returning to her drink.
"Get her home will you Konata?" Miki asked with a smile. Konata saluted.
"It'll be my pleasure!" She shouted.
"I'm awake! So I'm gonna nap!" Tsukasa said as she rushed from the room.
"Ah'm drunk!" Kagami shouted.
"We're going home." Konata said.
"No we're not!" Kagami protested.
"Yes we are." Konata picked Kagami up and carried her home.
"Okay, we are." Kagami giggled.
"I'm giving her a bath!" Konata said to Matsuri.
"She'll make violent love to me too..." Kagami commented.
"Have fun!" Matsuri said.
"Kagamin!" Konata said as Kagami hugged her.
"What a cute Kona! Just what I always wanted! I will name you George, and I will hug you and pet you and squeeze you!" Kagami said.
"Nope." Konata said.
"But I wanna do the thing!" Kagami asked.
"Nope." Konata said.
"Kona hates me!" Kagami complained.
"Nope." Konata said.
"Okay." Kagami giggled.
"I have a hangover..." Kagami mumbled.
"Nope." Konata handed her the placebo.
"Woo! Let's eat!" Kagami said.
"Look at this video Imoto!" Matsuri said.
"Food's ready!" Konata said.
"Kona, we didn't do the thing!" Kagami cheered.
"You didn't want to do the thing." Konata said.
"Maybe we'll do the thing later." Kagami said.
"I'm here for Tsukasa." Miyuki said.
"I'm on my way." Masuta said.
"I'm awake. What's up?" Tsukasa asked.
"I'm helping!" Miyuki cheered.
"And I'm here too!" Masuta said. "Are you sick?" He asked Tsukasa.
"...No." Tsukasa said.
"'Kay." Masuta said.
"We're gonna watch anime!" Konata said.
"Woohoo, Negi!" Kagami cheered.
"Is she sick?" Masuta asked.
"Probably." Miyuki said.
"Oh god..." Kagami mumbled.
"Are you sick?" Miyuki asked.
"Yeah." Tsukasa said.
"I'm helping!" Miyuki cheered again.
"... Oh God..." Kagami mumbled.
"Hey." Masuta said.
"Yo." Tony said.
"Tsukasa's sick." Masuta said.
"No she isn't!" Tony said.
"Yes she is." Masuta said.
"Crap!" Tony got up.
"... OH GOD!" Kagami shouted.
"You like it." Konata said.
"I hate your soul." Kagami said.
"Love you!" Konata said.
"Love you too." Kagami said.
"Akira and Minori are gone. Be sad." Daisuke Ono said.
LUCKY~ STAR~!
"... And~ unfollow..." Nappa said.
POV Tony
Tony continued cooking despite his illness. His muscles trembled with fatigue, but he was much more determined now than he was before. Masuta walked into the kitchen and sniffed the air.
"Hmmm... Shogayu, huh?" Masuta asked.
"Yeah, I figured I'd start off with something that's good for a cold. If I remember correctly, ginger root really helps with that, right?" Tony asked. Masuta nodded and looked around.
"Well, it'll probably help out." Masuta said. Tony stopped for a moment and sighed. He put his arms down and looked towards the ground.
"... You were right, you know." Tony mumbled. Masuta looked at him. "... I did notice that Tsukasa was off..." Tony said. "...But I just figured... If she was sick, then she'd have collapsed or rested or something... That maybe she'd tell me..." Tony said.
"She didn't collapse sooner because she felt she had to take care of you." Masuta said. Tony looked further down, clenching his fists. They trembled weakly. He could feel someone else enter the room.
"Kanpeki-san." Miyuki said as she walked into the room. She sniffed the air. "It smells delightful." She said. Tony sighed.
"Come on Miyuki, you and I both know that isn't true. My cooking tastes horrible." Tony said. Miyuki walked up until she was next to him.
"But it smells delightful." She said. "I can tell you're working hard for Tsukasa and I appreciate it." Miyuki smiled up to him. Tony scowled.
"Not as hard as she worked for me." He said. "She endured so much for my sake, and I just laid there and took it. What kind of boyfriend am I?" Tony asked.
"A very sick one." Miyuki said. "Kanpeki-san, please allow us to take over." Miyuki said.
"Yeah Ototo. I was kind of rough on you before. Go get some rest. Sit down in the living room, Tsukasa is out there too." Masuta said. Tony shook his head.
"Tsukasa took care of me, now I want to take care of her. Don't worry, I'm all better!" Tony said.
"Oh?" Miyuki asked.
"Yeah, there are two of you." He looked at Miyuki. "There used to be three." He reasoned before returning to the drink.
"Ototo, how can you take care of Tsukasa unless you're in the room with her? If she needs something, shouldn't you be there to give it to her?" Masuta asked.
"But it feels like I owe her so much..." Tony mumbled.
"Stop talking like you're in her debt!" Miyuki said unusually loudly. Tony jumped and stumbled a bit away.
"What?" He asked.
"Stop keeping score between the two of you..." Miyuki said. "A relationship doesn't consist of the two of you pulling a wagon. It's more like two legs holding a person." Miyuki said. "If you were to hurt your toe, your legs wouldn't have an argument about one of them causing you to limp! You just change the way you walk and continue on." Miyuki said. "If one of you is sick, you should rely on the other without feeling guilt, because the next day the other could need caring for. And the other will step up." Miyuki said, gesturing towards Tony. "You're both sick. She took care of you yesterday and you're willing to take care of her today. However, if both legs are broken, relying on another outside the relationship to wheel you around is fine too." She said with a smile. "Please allow us to care for the two of you..." Miyuki said. Tony stood in thought for a moment. Then he sighed with a smile.
"I'm gonna go see if Tsukasa needs anything." He said as he walked out of the room. Miyuki smiled over to Masuta. Tony walked into the living room to see Tsukasa sitting on the couch watching television. She looked over to Tony and smiled warmly.
"Kan-kun..." She mumbled with a small smile.
"Do you need anything Tsukasa?" Tony asked. Tsukasa fidgeted a bit.
"I need something to cuddle with..." She said. She patted the seat next to her. Tony first thought of asking her to wait, that he would get her one of her pillows or stuffed animals, but ultimately decided that such a decision would be one of the dumbest things any human could have ever done in any situation to have ever occurred. So he smiled and nodded and walked over to the couch, where he sat with Tsukasa and cuddled up with her. He had the feeling that there was no place in the world that could be better than this.
POV Miyuki
Miyuki and Masuta continued to cook. While Masuta's cooking only marginally tasted better than Tony's, Miyuki lent a helping hand as well. However, her not being a particularly good cook, she didn't really help in cooking as much as she did in spirit. However, her not cooking also led her to being able to talk more.
"I was quite surprised that the illness affected Kanpeki-san as much as it did." Miyuki said.
"Well, I suppose I'm not. It's his first." Masuta said.
"Hm? He's never been this ill before?" Miyuki asked. Masuta shook his head.
"He's never been sick at all." Masuta said. Miyuki seemed surprised even more now.
"Never?" She asked.
"Not even a sniffle." Masuta said.
"I see. I'm envious of him for that then." She put a hand on her cheek and smiled.
"Well, I guess you can be jealous of me too then." Masuta chuckled. "I've never been sick either." He said.
"Really? Unfortunately, I've had quite a bit of illness in the past. Fortunately, however, Mi-chan would always come over to help take care of me..." Miyuki smiled with nostalgia. "She began to become rather adept at caring for someone who was ill." She said with her same smile. She sighed.
Mi-chan... I think that was Minami, the girl Miyuki told me had a crush on Yutaka, Konata's cousin... He tried to mentally map their relations and memorize who each one of them was. If he could recall correctly, Yutaka was a sickly girl that also had a sort of bodyguard/nurse crush on Minami. Nodding, he decided that it was well implanted in his memory. "The two of you seem close." Masuta smiled. Miyuki giggled lightly to herself.
"We've known each other since Mi-chan was born. The Iwasaki family has lived across the street from us since our parents were children." Miyuki said. "Mother and Mi-chan's mother were much like me and Mi-chan while growing up, though my mother was still rather..." Miyuki trailed off here.
"Much more childish than... Honoka?" Masuta asked. Miyuki nodded.
"Mi-chan's mother, yes. But the two of them grew up together, got married around the same time to mostly the same type of men." Miyuki smiled.
"Men like me?" Masuta chuckled.
"There are no other men like you Masuta." Miyuki giggled teasingly. "Now, however, seems to be the turning point between the two families and their similarities." Miyuki said, though smiling to show that it wasn't a bad thing.
"How so?" Masuta asked.
"Well, it would seem Mi-chan and I have fallen in love with two entirely different kinds of people." Miyuki smiled. Masuta smiled to himself as well.
"I'm very glad that there was a turning point then." Masuta chuckled. Miyuki sighed a bit.
"Though, I do hope that we turn out better than my mother and father..." She said, putting a hand to her cheek.
"Well, so far I don't have any intention of ever leaving you, so unless you do, I think that we're gonna be alright." Masuta said. Miyuki giggled a bit.
"I apologize. My concerns were more about marriage and it's pressures rather than our feelings for each other." Miyuki said. "If I recall correctly... My father did love my mother very much, although I was rather young at the time so maybe I remember incorrectly..." Miyuki said. She sighed.
"I'm sure they did." Masuta said. Miyuki shook her head to herself.
"I'm going to go check on the two of them." Miyuki said. Masuta smiled.
"Alright. Let me know how they are." Masuta said. Miyuki nodded as she stood and walked out of the room. She walked into the living room to see Tony and Tsukasa sitting together, cuddled up together while watching a movie. Miyuki smiled and sat down in the chair that Tsukasa had been sitting in earlier. The two turned and looked over at the Meganekko.
"I'm glad to see the two of you are finally taking it easy." Miyuki smiled. Tony and Tsukasa smiled, though Tsukasa was rather sleepy looking.
"I'm sorry for you guys having to take care of us..." Tony said, pausing the movie. Miyuki put a hand to her cheek as she smiled.
"Please don't worry about it. The pleasure is ours." Miyuki answered. Masuta pushed his way into the room with a tray of food.
"Hey guys, eat up. This should help with the cold." He said as he set the tray in front of the two, who both took a cup. Both of them took a drink of the ginger drink, though Tony was more prepared for the cringe worthy taste than Tsukasa was. It tasted better than if he himself had made it, but it was still pretty awful. Tsukasa, being Tsukasa, held her tongue however. She swallowed a few times to get it down and smiled an almost forced looking smile.
"Thank you very much." She said.
"So that means there's still no one in the Takara household who can cook well." Tony commented. Masuta laughed loudly.
"Just for that, you don't get the antidote." He said. Tony chuckled.
"Please, you know that poison doesn't hurt me." Tony said.
"Maybe not regularly but while you're sick? Perhaps." Masuta said.
"Good point. I apologize." Tony said.
"No need, you were right." Masuta said. "So the damnedest thing happened yesterday." Masuta said as he sat down.
"What happened?" Tsukasa asked.
"I was playing at Akira's bar last night-" Masuta began.
"Ah, that's cool, she's been needing someone to fill in for her entertainment." Tony interrupted.
"I know, that's why I did it." Masuta said. "... Anyway, Konata, Kagami and their family walked into the bar-" Masuta continued.
"So Konata, Kagami and co. walk into a bar..." Tony interrupted again.
"Yes they did." Masuta said. "... While I was playing and singing, even when I shouted out to the entire bar, they didn't seem to notice me." Masuta explained.
"You know, it really is odd to hear that Kon-kon and Kagami went to a bar, I wonder what brought it on." Tony interrupted the story again. Masuta sighed, causing Tony to chuckle. "I guess Kon-kon is understandable, but I didn't think I'd ever hear about Kagami going to a bar." Tony said.
"..." Masuta looked at Tony.
"..." Tony returned the look.
"..." Masuta sighed. "Are you done?"
"Yuh-huh." Tony nodded.
"... Alright." Masuta said. "Anyway, I was paying the piano and singing, but they didn't notice me. I even bought the bar a drink and they didn't so much as glance in my direction." Masuta said. Miyuki looked down.
"Huh, that's weird." Tony said.
"... I believe that I may be at fault for it..." Miyuki mumbled.
"Huh? What makes you say that Yuki-chan?" Tsukasa asked. Miyuki sighed.
"Well... It's just... I... I haven't been hanging out with you all as of late... Lately, it seems as though I've been getting further and further from you all, my very closest friends..." Miyuki said, bowing her head so that her eyes were hidden by her bangs. Tsukasa looked heartbroken.
"Yuki-chan..." Tsukasa mumbled.
"Outside of the tournament fights, I rarely see you all anymore... It... It just feels like I'm... not even part of the group anymore..." Miyuki mumbled. "The last time I even spoke to Kagami-san and Konata-san outside of a tournament fight or around one was when me and Masuta were celebrating my family getting out of debt!" Miyuki said. "And that was simply a chance meeting! And the time before that was when you were in the hospital after the accident Tsukasa!" Miyuki shouted. "I've barely been a part of your lives for such a long time..." Miyuki's voice began to crack. Tsukasa found new strength and stood, walking and bringing Miyuki into a hug.
"Yuki-chan, I had no idea..." Tsukasa said. "I'm so sorry. You're my best friend... I'm sorry I haven't been paying more attention to you..." Tsukasa said.
"It isn't just you... Masuta seems to be the only person who acknowledges me recently... Even Mi-chan has begun directing all of her attention towards Yutaka-san." Tsukasa tightened her hug.
"You're here with us now Yuki-chan. Please stay with us for a while more..." Tsukasa said. Miyuki finally returned the embrace.
"I honestly hope so..." Miyuki mumbled.
POV Konata
Konata looked around in the middle of the room. There was a dresser, a futon and a desk. The room seemed surprisingly bare when held next to Konata's old room, but that may be the lack of stuff animals that Tsukasa's room used to have so much of.
"So, this is my new room, huh?" Konata asked. Kagami nodded.
"Yup. Sure is." Kagami said. "What do you think, Kona?" Kagami asked.
"It looks a lot like yours." Konata said. "Though it'll take me a bit to get used to a futon instead of a mattress." Konata said, looking around.
"I know it isn't what you're used to, but I hope that it'll be okay for you." Kagami said.
"Is there anything else of mine that you happened to bring?" Konata asked.
"Something to make it feel more like your room?" Kagami asked.
"Yeah." Konata said.
"Yep. I got a bunch of different manga and video games." Kagami said as she retrieved the bag she had gotten earlier.
"Hey, that's where we got that manga for your Dad!" Konata said.
"Yup, a lot of the manga from your room, mostly your favorites." Kagami smiled. "I haven't read a lot of them, but are there doujin in here too?" Kagami asked.
"You're the one who packed it Kagami, shouldn't you know?" Konata asked. Kagami blushed a bit.
"I just packed ones that looked... well used." Kagami said, averting her gaze.
"Well yeah, a lot of these have some of my favorite fetishes in them." Konata leafed through a few of the doujin inside. Kagami, curiosity getting the better of her, tried to peek over Konata's shoulder. The instant she did, however, Konata closed the book. "Hmmmhmmhmmm~, Kagamin~... Are you trying to find out my fetishes~?" Konata chimed. Kagami jumped to attention, a shiver of embarrassment running up her spine as a huge blush spread across her face.
"We-well excuse me for trying to find out what excites my girlfriend!" Kagami shouted, looking pointedly away.
"That was loud Kagamin..." Konata giggled. "But if you really want to know what excites me, all you have to do is ask~." Konata chimed suggestively. Kagami blushed harder.
"We-well... I..." She crossed her arms and looked away. "It's not like I care or anything." Kagami said.
"Yay~! Tsuntsun~!" Konata cheered. "You know you love me." Konata latched onto Kagami.
"Get off me!" Kagami said. Konata giggled a bit.
"Doesn't this bring back memories?" Konata asked with a smile. Kagami smiled a bit and giggled.
"Yeah, it really does..." She said. "You tease, I blush." Kagami smiled and sighed.
"Are you sure you don't want to know~?" Konata asked. Kagami clenched a bit, but glanced down. Konata had on a large cat grin. Kagami sighed.
"I... I really do..." Kagami mumbled.
"Then you have to ask." Konata said.
"I-I just did!" Kagami said loudly.
"No you didn't. You have to say 'Kona, I want to know what turns you on, in a sexual sense.', and you have to say it while looking me in the eye." Konata said. Kagami's face flushed even more.
"Th-there's no way I could say something like that!" Kagami shouted.
"Maybe I should get you drunk again..." Konata commented.
"Kona, you suck." Kagami said.
"Anywhere you want, Kagamin~." Konata chimed. Kagami blushed even deeper yet.
"K-K-Kona..." Kagami turned and looked at Konata.
"Ohooo~, are we ready to learn~?" Konata asked.
"Kona, I want... I want to know..." Kagami tried to fight through the embarrassment. She could normally go back and forth with a flirt Konata, but this was just ridiculous.
"What do you want, Kagamin?" Konata asked.
"I...KonaIwanttoknowhatturnsyouoninasexualsense!" Kagami shouted, clenching her eyes closed.
"Hmmm." Konata hummed. "Mmm... Nope." Konata said.
"Nope? The hell do you mean 'Nope'?" Kagami asked. "Do you have any idea how embarrassing that was for me?" Kagami asked.
"You didn't look me in the eye when you asked." Konata said.
"Maybe I should just take you here and find out for myself." Kagami thought out loud. Konata blushed a bit at the direct way she said it.
"Kagamin..." Konata mumbled. "You have to ask again." Kagami blushed fiercely.
"Kona." Kagami looked Konata in the eye. "I want to know what turns you on, in a sexual sense." Kagami said as seriously as she could. Konata could tell she was fighting as hard as she could through the blush and embarrassment.
"Alright." Konata smiled and giggled. "So, my fetishes..." Konata finally let go of Kagami and put a finger to her lip in thought. "Well, of course Yaoi and Yuri. Those kind of come with the territory." Konata smiled.
"Naturally." Kagami smiled, ready to enjoy the fruits of her efforts.
"But I think my biggest one has to be erotic lactation." Konata said. Kagami blushed.
"E-e-e-erotic lactation, huh?" Kagami asked, looking quite frazzled. "We-we-we-well then..." Kagami looked away and scratching her cheek. "I-is that it?" Kagami asked.
"Well, not really. Those are the really important ones." Konata said. "Maybe I'll tell you the rest later." Konata giggled with a cat grin.
"No. I want to know them now." Kagami said. "I just embarrassed myself so much for this, I need some more than that. Even if you don't give me all of them, I still need some more. Three more." Kagami said, holding up three fingers. Konata hummed.
"Hmmm... Three, huh?" Konata smiled. "Well, I'm kinda into older sisters. Especially Tsundere older sisters." Konata looked slyly at Kagami, who blushed again. Kagami put a finger down.
"Next." Kagami said.
"Hmm... Alright... I guess pregnancy." Konata said.
"... Pregnancy?" Kagami asked.
"Not exactly a turn on, but I could totally get it on with you if you were pregnant." Konata said. Kagami grunted a bit.
"W-well... Technically don't you have to be pregnant to give breast milk?" Kagami asked.
"I guess." Konata said.
"Then those are considered the same thing!" Kagami said. "So you still need two more." Kagami demanded.
"Two more..." Konata thought. "We might end up getting into some messed up things." Konata said.
"Kona~." Kagami chimed. "I already know you're messed up in the head." Kagami said with a smile.
"... Okay then." Konata sighed. "Well, I like vore." Konata said.
"Vore? You're gonna have to elaborate on that one." Kagami said.
"That will cost you another fetish." Konata said.
"So... Either get another fetish or have you explain this one." Kagami said. Again, her curiosity got the better of her. "Alright fine. What's vore?" Kagami asked.
"Vore is being eaten alive." Konata said.
"..." Kagami stared at Konata.
"..." Konata waited for her girlfriend's reply.
"... Not like getting eaten the other way, right?" Kagami asked.
"Nope, like being devoured the same way you devour chocolate, but usually with less crunching." Konata said. Kagami crossed her arm.
"..." Kagami stared at Konata. "That sounds like the least practical fetish you could ever have." Kagami said. She sighed. "Wow, so being eaten alive, huh?" Kagami said. "Sounds painful." Kagami said.
"It totally isn't! It's supposed to be the world's best pleasure!" Konata said. "After sleeping with you, of course." Konata added as an after thought. If Kagami's face could blush more, it surely would at this point.
"Idiot..." Kagami mumbled.
"So." Konata said, latching onto Kagami. "I guess that thing you shouted at the haunted house wouldn't be so bad, huh?" Kagami looked confused.
"Huh? What did I say?" Kagami asked. Konata waved a hand dismissively.
"Nah, never mind. Wasn't really for you anyway." She giggled. "So Kagami." Konata turned chillingly seriously.
"Kona?" Kagami asked, now a bit scared of the serious Konata.
"I want to know what turns you on." She said, staring into the Tsundere's eyes. "In a sexual sense." Konata added cheerfully, kicking her head to the side like Tsukasa would.
"That's not fair, you didn't say I had to do it too." Kagami looked away again and scratched her cheek.
"I didn't say you didn't." Konata said.
"..." Kagami's cheeks puffed out. "Kona's a big meanie." She said.
"You only have to do two. Come on, I gave you six! That shouldn't be too bad!" Konata said.
"You gave me five." Kagami said, trying anything to be able to argue. Konata giggled.
"Yuri, Yaoi, Lactation, older sisters, Tsundere and vore. Six." Konata counted.
"You said Tsundere older sisters! The two were the same thing so you only gave me five!" Kagami protested.
"You're arguing semantics, Kagamin." Konata said.
"You don't even know what semantics are Kona." Kagami said.
"Of course I do Kagamin~! Because you're arguing them." Konata said. Kagami sighed.
"Alright, fine. Only two?" Kagami asked. Konata nodded sweetly.
"Only two." Konata chirped. Kagami sighed the sigh of the damned and just decided to go for it. "Well, I like small girls. Like you." She smiled. "That's my second biggest fetish." She said slyly.
"Second? What could possibly beat me?" Konata asked with a cheesy smile.
"I only really have one that could beat it. Probably my biggest fetish..." Her face flushed a deeper red. Turns out she could blush more. "Do I have to?" Kagami asked.
"Yep. I gave you mine." Konata said. Kagami sighed.
"Well... I think... My biggest fetish... is probably..."
POV Tony
"Tsukasa!" Tony said. Tsukasa sneezed and turn towards her boyfriend.
"Yes Kan-kun?" She asked.
"Is there anything you need?" Tony asked. Tsukasa shook her head.
"No, I'm good..." Tsukasa smiled. "I'm kind of tired though..." Tsukasa said. Miyuki smiled from the chair and got up, leaving the room. "Yuki-chan?" Tsukasa asked.
"I'll return shortly." Miyuki said as she walked down the hall. Tsukasa tried fruitlessly to look down the hall. After a minute, Miyuki returned with a large, comfy looking blanket. It was the one that Tsukasa had used last night. Miyuki covered the both of them with it, causing them both to snuggle into the couch, even though the two of them were laying on opposite sides since there wasn't enough room for the two to lay comfortably next to each other. "Please, get some rest you two." Miyuki smiled to the two on the couch. Tsukasa blushed a bit.
"Um... Yuki-chan?" Tsukasa mumbled meekly. Miyuki seemed to think of something. She smiled and nodded.
"Of course. How foolish." She giggled as she walked back down the hall again. Tsukasa sighed contently, knowing what she had wanted to say had been said without having to say it. Tony looked in confusion, trying to turn to see down the hall, but couldn't turn enough to see. Soon, however, Miyuki returned with a rather large and fluffy looking stuffed dog. Tony felt like he had seen it before but he honestly couldn't remember at the moment. She handed him to Tsukasa, who took him and hugged him most ferociously.
"It's even the one I wanted! Thank you Yuki-chan!" Tsukasa shouted. Miyuki smiled and put a hand to her cheek.
"It's my pleasure, Tsukasa." Miyuki said. Tsukasa, dog in arms, looked down to Tony with a giant smile on her face. It made Tony smile as well.
"I guess we're sleeping together, huh Tsukasa?" Tony chuckled. Tsukasa blushed a bit.
"I guess so Kan-kun." She giggled. Suddenly, Tony got an idea.
"Hey Miyuki." Tony gestured for her to move closer. Miyuki seemed surprised and got closer. Tony leaned up and whispered in her ear. She nodded once, then again, and then smiled.
"A wonderful idea, Kanpeki-san. I'd be happy to." Miyuki said. She walked back to the chair and did her best to move it. Masuta, getting a look from Tony that told him what was going on, walked over and moved the chair next to Tsukasa. Miyuki gave an appreciative look before sitting next to the sick girl.
"Yuki-chan?" Tsukasa asked. Miyuki smiled.
"Have I ever told you about the Veliwyn Kingdom and the Lion of Happiness?" Miyuki asked. Tsukasa's eyes widened in wonder as she snuggled into the couch, hugging her dog even more. Miyuki had told her stories before and they had never been anything short of her favorites. If she had to choose between the two, she would prefer Miyuki tell her stories to having watched Disney movies. And this was how she always started them. Tsukasa shook her head excitedly.
"No, you've never mentioned them before!" Tsukasa said with great anticipation. She didn't know where Miyuki learned all of these stories, as she never read them from a book, but Tsukasa was excited for it nonetheless.
"Well, our story begins with our main heroine, Princess Biki Hotokegi..." Miyuki began. Tsukasa smiled and wiggled in anticipation of the story to come.
POV Konata
"Oh~ yeah~?" Konata chimed as Kagami proved me wrong again as she blushed deeper still and averted her gaze from Konata. "That's it, huh~?" Konata chimed, walking around her girlfriend to try and look her in the eye. Kagami simply averted it the other way, still embarrassed at her biggest secret being let out.
"Can it, idiot." Kagami said.
"So~..." Konata elongated her words as much, milking the embarrassment from Kagami as if it was a fetish. Which it totally was.
"Don't say it." Kagami said.
"Big sister Kagamin has a little sister fetish." Konata said. Kagami sighed and slouched down.
"Don't tease me about it Kona, it's totally, super embarrassing..." Kagami mumbled. "Besides, you have no room to talk, Ms. Vore lover." Kagami said.
"But there's a big difference between the two Kagamin." Konata said.
"And that is?" Kagami asked.
"I don't have a plant or a monster that will eat me alive. You HAVE a little sister." Konata chimed. Kagami blushed. "Who's a small girl." Kagami blushed deeper. "And is a total airhead." Konata said.
"Gah!" Kagami reeled back. "I didn't tell you about that you idiot!" Kagami shouted.
"But it's Tsukasa. Sometimes I think that's totally your type." Konata said. Kagami waved her hand in front of her dismissively.
"No way! That's totally a different story!" Kagami said.
"What kind of story?" Konata asked.
"Not this one!" Kagami shouted. "That kind of story would probably be really badly written..." Kagami rubbed the back of her head.
"But stuff like that happens in real life too!" Konata said.
"Yeah, I guess. With Inori and Matsuri..." Kagami chuckled.
"Ya know..." Konata said.
"Hm?" Kagami asked.
"I'm sure if you asked Kan-kan REALLY~ nicely, he might give you permission to toy around with our little Tsukasa on special events. If she likes it, maybe even any time you wanted~..." Konata chimed. Kagami's blush flared up because of course it did.
"I-idiot... there's no way I could..." Kagami mumbled weakly.
"It couldn't hurt to ask Kagamin!" Konata offered helpfully.
"It could hurt very badly Kona." Kagami replied unhelpfully.
"How so?" Konata asked.
"It... It just could, alright?" Kagami shouted. She had a very valid reason why it could hurt, but it was far too embarrassing to say, even with everything the two of them had said during this conversation. For one, Kagami would want her first time to be with Konata.
And second, if Tsukasa offered herself up willingly, things could get very dangerous very, very quickly.
"I don't follow your thinking." Konata said.
"That's for the better." Kagami said as calmly as she could manage with her imagination running so wildly. "Why are you so insistent on this Kona...?" Kagami asked suspiciously. Konata rubbed the back of her neck ruefully.
"N-no reason..." She mumbled guiltily.
"You little pervert. You were thinking that you were going to record us in the act, weren't you?" Kagami asked. Konata giggled a little nervously.
"... Does that excite you?" Konata asked a little desperately.
"That doesn't excite me." Kagami glared at Konata. "If I were going to do something like that, I'd want to do it in private. Where no one would ever know." Kagami said.
"Are you-"
"Ever." Kagami interrupted her small girlfriend. Konata waited a moment to see if Kagami had anything else to say, but the Tsundere simply stared at her.
"..." Konata waited one more second. "Are you abso-"
"Ever." Kagami punctuated. Konata sighed a defeated sigh.
"So no." Konata said.
"No Kona." Kagami said. "Besides, it kind of pisses me off how you're talking about Tsukasa. You're talking like she doesn't have a choice in the matter. Like I'm the reason it wouldn't happen. Maybe Tsukasa wouldn't want to?" Kagami suggested. "After all, she's straight. Just because me, Inori and Matsuri are lesbians doesn't mean that Tsukasa is too. Even if literally almost everyone her own age that she knows likes girls, it doesn't mean that she does." Kagami said.
"But Tsukasa seems to go with things a little easily. I'm sure that if it's with you, she wouldn't mind giving the other team a try." Konata said, rubbing the back of her head.
"But Tony is still dating her. What do you think would happen if Tsukasa turned out to be gay?" Kagami asked. Konata waved a hand in front of her face.
"Nah, closest we would get would if she were bi." Konata said. Kagami sighed.
"Why are we even talking about this? It feels weird talking about the preferences of my twin sister." Kagami said.
"I'm just trying to find something to make you happy!" Konata said.
"You make me happy Kona." Kagami said. "Just being with you is being the happiest I can be." Kagami said. Konata blushed a bit.
"Love you Kagamin." Konata mumbled.
"I love you too Kona." Kagami replied, smiling at seeing a blushing Konata.
POV Tsukasa
"... And the Princess Biki and the Lion of Happiness were to be the best of friends forever. And to this day, the two of them can be seen running and playing together in the fields of Veliwyn." Miyuki finished her story. Tsukasa sighed as she smiled. It was another amazing story that Tsukasa would enjoy for a very long time. Tony was laying on the other side of the couch, still in awe of Miyuki's ability to create stories completely out of nothing but her imagination. Tsukasa sighed.
"Yuki-chan, you tell the best stories ever..." Tsukasa smiled as she yawned. She cuddled into the couch and blinked a long, tired blink.
"I appreciate the compliment, Tsukasa. Thank you." Miyuki smiled.
"Thank YOU Yuki-chan. It's so awesome that you can know so many stories! How do you know so many?" Tsukasa asked. Miyuki smiled a bit nervously and giggled.
"Well... I tried my best to read as many as I could as a child. It's only right that I should remember them, isn't it?" Miyuki asked. Tsukasa seemed to think about the statement.
"I guess so... Still, I never heard of these! That's so cool Yuki-chan!" Tsukasa praised her best friend again.
"Thank you Tsukasa." Miyuki eye smiled. While this exchange took place, Masuta shot a glance over at Tony.
"Hey, how did you know that she could do that?" It seemed to ask. Tony gave another look back.
"Well, she told Tsukasa a story like that back when she was in the hospital after her accident. It was pretty amazing." Tony's look said. "She read a story about monkeys and princes." He chuckled.
"Even so, I had never seen her do it before. I had only heard offhand stories from her mother about how she was really good at story telling." Masuta returned the look.
"It really is something to see, isn't it?" Tony smiled. Masuta chuckled and nodded.
"Witnessing it first hand, yes it truly is. Yet another reason to like her." Masuta's look spoke.
"Yuki-chan... Are there any more stories that you know that you could tell me?" Tsukasa asked, honestly hoping that she wasn't imposing on her friend. Miyuki, however, giggled.
"Why, of course Tsukasa. As it happens, that was not the only tale of Princess Biki Hotokegi. Had you heard about the time that Veliwyn had been encased in crystal while her and the Lion of Happiness were out picking berries one day?" Miyuki asked.
"No, I haven't!" Tsukasa said, obviously getting VERY excited at the prospect of hearing another one of Miyuki's stories. Miyuki smiled to her sick friend.
"Well, you see, one day, Princess Biki and the Lion were out having fun..." Miyuki began again. She had passed the bulk of a couple of hours with her first story. That Miyuki's jaw wasn't too tired to continue was a miracle in and of itself. Tony and Masuta exchanged looks again.
"It really is something to behold." Masuta smiled.
"She'll be a great mother to your children someday." Tony said. Masuta nodded.
"Uh-huh..." He nodded for another moment before what Tony said actually sank in. His eyes widened. "Wait, what the hell are you trying to make me say you little asshole?" Masuta asked.
"Try nothing, you went straight out and said it. It's a good thing she'll be a good mother, because you're sure as hell not." Tony chuckled under his breath. "Hey Miyuki." Tony interrupted the Meganekko just as she was starting her next story. Tsukasa shot him a sour look, but he ultimately chose to ignore it. Miyuki paused and smiled down to Tony's side of the couch.
"Yes Kanpeki-san?" Miyuki asked.
"You said earlier that you were talking with Yutaka yesterday, right?" Tony asked. Miyuki nodded.
"That's correct." She said.
"So did Minami and Yutaka come by your house yesterday then?" Tony asked. Miyuki shook her head.
"No, I visited her house yesterday." Miyuki said.
"Ah, I was wondering where Yutaka went. I heard from Konata that she went to Minami's but it makes me feel better to know for sure." Tony said.
"The moving trucks were catching my curiosity, so I went over to see what was happening. I was truly afraid she was moving out." Miyuki said.
"Wait wait wait, moving trucks? WAS she moving out?" Tony asked. Again, Miyuki shook her head with a smile on her face.
"No, after hearing of Yutaka-san's uncle's reaction, Mi-chan and her mother paid a well known moving company to move Yutaka-san into her house immediately. The two of them have been discussing the fact and it was mutually decided that, should anything happen, Yutaka-san would be moving in with her." Miyuki asked. Tony nodded.
"Ah. Well that makes me feel better. I was under the impression that Yutaka was going to be living with the Hiiragis." Tony said. Miyuki seemed confused.
"Was she told of this?" Miyuki asked. Tony shrugged.
"I don't think it was ever really brought up around her." Tony said. "It was just kind of... decided. I guess we all assumed that she wouldn't have a place to go unless it was with Kon-kon." Tony said. Miyuki giggled lightly.
"It would seem you underestimated the Iwasaki family." She said. "Mi-chan and her mother are very attached and protective over Yutaka-san." Miyuki smiled. Tony sighed in relief.
"Well alright. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity." Tony chuckled. Miyuki bowed her head for a moment, more out of reflex than anything since she knew she had no need to be so formal.
"It's my pleasure Kanpeki-san." Miyuki said. The two of them both smiled and looked down to Tsukasa. She was obviously doing her best to try and remain patient. For all of that though, she was still almost bursting at the seams. She was practically vibrating with excitement and impatience. The stuffed dog seemed to be pleading with them to please get on with the story before all of the stuffing was squeezed out of it.
"So... I think I better let you continue your story or Tsukasa is going to explode." Tony said.
"I'm not cleaning it up." Masuta said. Miyuki giggled.
"So, our story continues. Now where were we?" Miyuki asked Tsukasa.
"Princess Biki and the Lion had just gotten back to Veliwyn and saw it was crystallized!" Tsukasa said helpfully. Miyuki giggled again.
"Ah, yes. Now, they saw someone flying away from the castle just as it was finished being covered..." Miyuki continued. Tony and Masuta smiled to each other. They both knew that Tsukasa was in very good hands.
POV Kagami
"So Kagamin..." Konata started. "What do you wanna do now?" Konata asked. She loved hanging out with Kagami, but the fact that there was little to do there was beginning to get to her.
"Hm..." Kagami thought. "I know what I WANT to do, but I don't think you want to do it." Kagami said. Konata thought for a moment.
"What is it Kagamin?" Konata asked, wondering what Kagami could be talking about that she wouldn't want to do.
"..." Kagami looked at Konata.
"... Kagami?" Konata asked.
"I want to train." Kagami said. Konata sighed.
"You just ripped a man apart yesterday." Konata said.
"Yeah, but I can't do that by myself. I want to be able to hold my own and eventually be able to do that myself." Kagami said.
"I'm not even sure what that power was, Kagamin. It might not be good for you to use it so much..." Konata said.
"But if I could, you and Tony wouldn't have to risk your lives every time someone came! I would be able to save all of you!" Kagami said. "The guy I beat was twice as strong as the guy Tony fought in the tournament, right?" Kagami asked.
"He said that, yeah..." Konata sighed.
"Wouldn't it be time that I learned some sword techniques?" Kagami asked.
"You still have a long way to go before you get to practice with weapons Kagami." Konata said.
"Kona..." Kagami sighed. She looked entirely disappointed. Konata hated seeing Kagami look so sad. Konata sighed. "We don't have any room here Kagami. We would break something." Konata said. Kagami grabbed Konata's hand and pulled a little bit. Understanding, Konata followed Kagami through the house. The two of them traveled through the house. Finally, Kagami pulled back the door to outside, the small square of open area in the middle of the house. The two of them looked around. Konata caught a glimpse of a pond in it as well. "What's up with this place?" Konata asked. "I didn't even know you guys HAD a courtyard like this." Konata said.
"Because you only ever come over here to copy my homework." Kagami said. "You never paid any attention to what else was in my house." Kagami smiled teasingly to her small girlfriend.
"Well, when your girlfriend is one of the smartest people around, of course I would concentrate on your homework!" Konata chimed. Kagami blushed. "And I'll have you know that your homework wasn't the only thing I was concentrating on." Konata said. Kagami raised an amused eyebrow.
"Oh? And what else could I have that could possibly interest you more than my homework?" Kagami asked. Konata's eyes drifted down as she swung her hand. "YIP!" Kagami shouted as her hands found her bottom. "K-K-Kona!" Kagami stuttered.
"That's definitely at the top of my list." Konata stared at the bottom she had just spanked.
"K-Kona!" Kagami shouted.
"Yes~, Kagamin~?" Konata asked.
"... I'm gonna kill you." Kagami said.
"Wh-wha?" Konata asked as she looked up to see Kagami with a large sword in her hand. "Kagamin... Where did that come from?" Konata asked.
"That guy you sent here that wrecked my house left it here when Tony beat him up. I just pulled it out of the rock." Kagami grinned malevolently. "Looks like I AM getting some weapon training today." She said. Konata help up both hands.
"Ahehe... Now Kagamin... Let's not do anything rash now..." Konata said.
"You best get ready!" Kagami shouted as she swung. Konata, now entirely surprised that Kagami had actually swung, ducked under the swing.
"Kagami, are you seriously trying to hit me? I'm sorry!" Konata shouted.
"Hey, even if I were to try, I could never actually hit you!" Kagami said as she swung again. Konata backed up, briefly impressed at how easily Kagami was wielding such a large sword. The moment of distraction, however, stopped her from noticing the root of the tree behind her. Her foot hit the root as she began to fall back. Kagami's eyes widened as the blade struck down, Konata in air and unable to dodge. "KONATA!" Kagami shouted. Suddenly, her armpit was in pain as the sword fell from her hand. Kagami then realized that her eyes had shut tightly just before whatever happened, happened. She opened her eyes to see Konata on the ground, breathing heavily, seemingly just as surprised as Kagami was. Kagami looked over to see her mother, standing with a branch jammed under Kagami's arm. Kagami, now realizing that she had almost just seriously injured her girlfriend at best, began trembling as she fell to her knees. "M...Mom..." She mumbled.
"Mom..." Konata breathed a sigh of relief as her adrenaline was calming down. She shivered a bit. "How..." Konata tried to ask. Miki gave a smile.
"I saw Kan-chan do it before." She said.
"No way... That was..." Konata tried to say. She couldn't believe that Miki could have performed such a perfect maneuver from seeing Tony use it once.
"I was captain of the fencing and kendo clubs in college." Miki smiled. "I like to think I'm rather handy with one of these." She said, admiring the sword that Kagami had held before, having caught the sword from Kagami when she dropped it. She walked over to the rock that the sword had been impaled in previously and replaced it. She walked back over to her daughter and crouched down, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Kagami." Miki said sternly. "Never forget what happened here. The swing of a sword is like the swipe of a brush. It can't be taken back." She said with a grave seriousness. "Never make a strike that you don't intend to connect with." Miki said as she stood back up. "The results may never be what you intend." She walked back into the house. Kagami continued shivering.
"Kona... I'm so sorry..." Kagami mumbled.
"It's alright Kagamin..." Konata said. "No harm no foul..."
"Kona, I almost just killed you! How can you say it's alright?" Kagami asked. Konata shrugged.
"I think Kan-kan used some kind of trickety-trick with magic to stop things from killing me. I don't remember him undoing it, so I can't be killed!" Konata said.
"I don't want to rely on something like magic though. I would feel way too insecure about if you were safe enough! I would want to trust something like that." Kagami said. Konata stood herself up and began dusting herself off.
"Well, as long as you understand." Konata said. "It isn't like some silly game or a bad story written by some amateur author online or anything. This is real life, Kagami!" Konata said. Kagami averted her gaze to the ground and sighed.
"Never thought I'd be getting this lecture from you of all people..." She mumbled. Konata smiled.
"Doesn't that just show how I've grown~?" Konata asked.
"On the contrary Kona, you haven't grown at all." Kagami smirked, staring at Konata's chest. Konata covered her chest as if it had been exposed, mocking offense.
"Gah! Kagamin, I was having a moment of coolness!" Konata protested. Kagami kicked her head to the side.
"But Kona... How can something so hot be cool?" Kagami asked, a look of false confusion on her face. Konata blushed as Kagami cheered victory internally.
"Kagamin, you can strip your gears switching into reverse that fast!" Konata said. She then saw something she would almost never expect from her girlfriend sober. Kagami looked a little seductive.
"My gears might not be the only things that get stripped..." Kagami said as she crawled over to Konata, looking up at her. Konata's blush only deepened, this time much more than the last. Internally, Kagami was currently in the middle of her patented "I made Kona blush twice!" dance. Externally, she was doing her best to keep the sexy going.
"... Kagamin, not two minutes ago, you almost killed me, ya know?" Konata offered weakly.
"Your point?" Kagami asked. Konata's brain turning to mush at Kagami's sweet tone, she struggled to remember her reason for bringing the topic up.
"Well... Are you sure this wouldn't just be 'Glad you're alive' sex?" Konata asked. Kagami gave a look of confusion.
"Who ever said anything about sex, Kona?" Kagami asked, trying to throw Konata through a loop as the older girl did to her so often. "This is just flirting." Kagami said. She stood up and got close to Konata, hugging onto her and rubbing up against her. "I'm sorry I almost killed you Kona." She said quietly. Konata smiled to herself.
"It's no problem Kagamin." Konata laid her head on Kagami's as they stood alone out there in the courtyard of their house.
POV Miyuki
Miyuki sighed as she finished her story once again. Her jaw ached from the exertion of speaking so much, but the sleeping girl in front of her made it more than worth the effort and pain. Tsukasa slumbered adorably, looking all the parts of an angel. Miyuki leaned back in her chair and exhaled as she rubbed her temples. As much as she enjoyed inventing new stories for Tsukasa, doing so was incredibly mentally taxing. She closed her eyes.
"Amazing." Tony finally spoke. "Really. It's amazing." Tony said.
"How does someone do something like that?" Masuta asked. Miyuki massaged her temples to try and ease the pain in her head.
"Much the same way Masuta can disassemble and reassemble any weapon without seeing it in under ten seconds." Miyuki said. "Simple practice." Miyuki said.
"Miyuki..." Tony sighed as he looked to the ceiling, as if it would give him the words he was looking for. Not finding them, he decided on something that didn't nearly cover it. "Thank you." He said. Miyuki smiled and giggled lightly.
"You are very welcome. Tsukasa is as a sister to me. If there were anything any of you needed, it's my sincere hope that you come to me." Miyuki said. Tony nodded.
"Understood. Thank you again." Tony said.
"There's no need to thank me Kanpeki-san." Miyuki said.
"Okay. Then from now on, I'll be replacing it with a 'Much appreciated.'." Tony said. "So, much appreciated." Tony said. Miyuki giggled lightly again.
"If it's alright, I may go take a nap." Miyuki said. Tony smiled.
"Of course. You can either take my bed or Tsukasa's." Tony said. Miyuki smiled as she got up from the chair. She bowed politely.
"Much appreciated." She said as she left the room down the hallway. Masuta chuckled.
"You're trying to match Miyuki in a contest of wits." He said. "It won't work." He said. Tony sighed and shrugged.
"Hey, I've been beat. Women are just wittier than men are." Tony said.
"Can you imagine a conversation between two Miyuki's?" Masuta chuckled.
"It'd be a sight to behold." Tony said. "I don't think I'd understand a lick of it." Tony chuckled.
"Mmmm... No licking..." Tsukasa mumbled from her side of the couch. Tony blushed a bit. "M'not done cooking..." Tsukasa mumbled. Masuta laughed.
"What were YOU thinking Ototo?" Masuta asked.
"Hey, it isn't my fault..." Tony mumbled. Masuta got up.
"I'm gonna start a stew. It should be ready in the next few hours. Why don't you get a rest meanwhile Ototo?" Masuta asked. Tony yawned.
"I AM tired..." Tony said. Masuta nodded and got up.
"Have a nice nap Ototo." Masuta said.
"Thanks Aniki." Tony said as he yawned and closed his eyes. Masuta chuckled and left the room.
POV Kagami
Kagami and Konata sat on a large root in the courtyard of their house. The two had been sitting there, simply enjoying each other's company for the past while.
"Kona?" Kagami asked.
"Hm?" Konata asked.
"Can we stay like this forever?" Kagami asked.
"Forever and always." Konata said. Kagami sighed contently. Suddenly, however, there was the caw of a bird. A great white bird flew down next to the two of them and perched itself on the root that the two shared. Konata looked suspiciously at it for a moment until Kagami spoke up.
"Oh, hey Osu-chan." Kagami smiled as she got up and walked over to the bird. She put a hand on it's head and began to pet. It didn't seem to mind the contact.
"Oh, I didn't know you had a pet bird, Kagamin." Konata said.
"Not really a pet, per se. He just comes around every once in a while." Kagami said as she continued to pet the bird.
"Who named him?" Konata asked.
"His name is Osu-chan. Who do you think named him?" Kagami giggled a bit. "Tsukasa did." Kagami said.
"Where did she come up with that?" Konata asked, more in interest of keeping the conversation going than of actual curiosity.
"She just said that that was his name." Kagami said. When Konata hummed, seeming to ponder something, Kagami giggled again. "Don't think about it too hard. That's how she names all of her stuffed animals too." Kagami said.
"What kind of bird is he?" Konata asked.
"I'm actually not entirely sure. He's just a bird. And he seems to like it here." Kagami said. In a rare show of affection, she hugged the bird around the body. It seemed more or less indifferent to it. Konata smiled. This was a side of Kagami that she had rarely, if she had ever, seen. Nodding to herself, she made a decision.
When we get married and get our own place, we have to get a pet. If this is Pet Kagami, it's adorable. Konata nodded. Kagami turned to her.
"What are you thinking Kona?" Kagami asked.
"Just about how cute you are with a pet." Konata answered without missing a beat. Kagami jumped and blushed.
"Idiot. He's not my pet." Kagami said. "He's like... a friend." Kagami smiled as she went back to petting the bird again. Konata sighed contently to see her love so happy. "I've told him a whole bunch of stuff that I've never told anyone else! Not even Tsukasa!" Kagami said with a grin.
"You talk to birds Kagamin?" Konata asked. "And I thought the fish was bad. Just how lonely were you?" Konata asked. Kagami glared at Konata.
"Hey, the sword is right over there, ya know." Kagami said. "Besides, it's fine." Kagami looked up with an air of superiority.
"Oh?" Konata asked.
"Mom talks to him all the time!" Kagami grinned from ear to ear. How could Konata possibly call a married woman lonely?
"Well, your dad DOES work a lot." Konata said. There was a flash as Kagami swung and struck Konata across the head.
"Idiot." Kagami sighed. The bird, no longer the center of attention for the moment, began to preen.
"HI~RA~GIIIIIIIN~!" The girlfriends heard as they both looked over to the door. Konata dodged as Misao flew threw the air, glomping her favorite person in the world. "It's been so long since I saw you!" Misao shouted as she rubbed against Kagami.
"And this is happening..." Kagami sighed.
"Great, hop along ferret face is here now." Konata groaned externally. Misao shot a sour look to Konata.
"Chibi, what are you doing here?" Misao asked. She waved dismissively. "I wanna talk to Hiiragin in private." Misao said. Konata crossed her arms and glared at her secret friend.
"No, I don't think so." Konata said, giving a challenging stare. This time, however, Misao didn't rise to it.
"Please Chibi?" She asked, a disarming meekness coming into her voice. Konata, caught off guard by such a serious plead from the otherwise energetic girl, was at a loss for words. "I really need to talk to Hiiragi." Misao said. Konata sighed and looked over at the Tsundere is question.
"I'm sorry Kona, but could you leave us alone for a moment?" Kagami asked. Misao gave another sour look, but not to anyone in general. Konata nodded and retreated to another part of the house, one that was inside. Preferably with a fridge. Almost dying had left her hungry. Once she was gone, Kagami turned to her friend. "So what can I do for you Misao?" Kagami asked. Misao was still looking pointedly at the door.
"Hiiragi, you have a nickname for Chibi?" Misao asked. Kagami cringed. She hadn't thought about it, but Misao really hadn't heard Kagami address Konata by her new nickname. Misao sighed.
"Well yeah! I've known her for a while and she has a nickname for me!" Kagami said.
"You've known me for longer and I have a nickname for you." Misao said, adamantly refusing to make eye contact with the Tsundere. Kagami sighed.
"It's different Misao..." Kagami said.
"Why?" Misao asked, finally turning to her closest friend. "Why is it any different from me?" Misao asked, sounding heartbroken. The sound really affected Kagami. She had never heard Misao sound so sad.
"Well, Kona is..." Kagami trailed off. She wasn't sure what to say. She didn't know if her and Konata were going around telling everyone, but Kagami definitely had the feeling that telling Misao about them would cause some major problems. Kagami sighed. "Sorry Misao, it just is..." Kagami said.
"Hiiragi, why don't you like me and Ayano anymore?" Misao asked. Kagami, confused by the question, was startled to think Misao thought that way.
"I don't dislike you guys. You're two of my best friends! We've known each other since kindergarten! How could I ever not like you?" Kagami asked.
"You never hang out with us anymore." Misao said, looking still more depressed. "And every time I see you recently, you've been with Chibi! Just how close have you two gotten?" Misao asked. Kagami began feeling guilty. Her normally loud friend had a terrifyingly good point.
"... I'm sorry Misao... I didn't realize..." Kagami began.
"We miss you Hiiragin!" Misao said a little louder. "We haven't seen you for more than a few minutes outside of class since the Arts Festival! We miss you! I miss you!" Misao shouted. Kagami bowed her head and accepted her friend's mix of anger and sadness. This was her fault. "Hiiragi, please don't leave us! Don't cut us o-" Misao was cut off very suddenly by what was likely one of the most unexpected things she had ever witnessed. Kagami brought her into a full strength hug.
"I'm sorry Misao. I promise I'll try harder to be with you guys more. A lot of stuff has been happening recently and it's been really scary." Kagami's voice began trembling. "I guess on some level, I didn't want to pull you guys into it. A lot of dangerous things are starting and I don't want you guys to get hurt..." Kagami said, starting to sound legitimately scared. Misao, now touched emotionally as well as physically, hugged Kagami back.
"Hiiragi, please... I wanna know what's been happening with you... I don't wanna lose you, if it's dangerous, shouldn't you try and get away from it?" Misao asked, trying to keep some form of sanity with Kagami embracing her like this.
"I can't Misao... It's happening to Kona and Tony and Tsukasa and I just can't!" Kagami said, releasing her pent up emotions. She felt that Konata would just feel more burdened knowing that Kagami was scared by all of this, so she did her best to hide it. Misao, however, was her closest friend outside her family and Konata. If she could tell anything to anyone, it was her.
"Hiiragi..." Misao rubbed Kagami on the back. She began to realize that there were no magic words here. There was nothing she could say to make Kagami feel better or less scared. She hated her powerlessness, but she knew she could at least do this much. "Hiiragi, if you-"
"Kagami." Kagami said. Misao internally gasped.
"Wha?" Misao asked.
"You're right, Misao. We, you, me and Ayano, we've all known each other since we were children. There's no reason we should call each other by last names." Kagami said. "If you want, I'm perfectly fine with you calling me Kagami." Kagami said. Misao stood stunned, hand paused in mid rub, and stared for a moment. She smiled widely.
"Thank you..." Misao said. "But... I think since your nickname is Hiiragin, I might stick with that." Misao smiled. Kagami tightened her hug.
"Misao, I know I don't say it enough, but you guys really are my best friends. You're like my... you ARE my sisters." Kagami said. Misao sighed, though of disappointment or content was anybody's guess.
"... Yeah. Sister." Misao sighed. "Hiiragin, I like you more than anyone actually in my family." Misao said.
"Thank you Misao." Kagami said, happy about how the two were. The two stayed there in their embrace for a moment or two more.
"Hiiragin, you can always come talk to me if you need to." Misao said. "I'm always here for you." She said as the two broke apart.
"Hey Misao... Are you guys doing anything on Wednesday?" Kagami asked. Misao smiled a fanged, large smile.
"Hiiragin! Are you free?" She asked.
"I'm sure I can make the time for my precious sisters." Kagami smiled.
"I don't have anything to do! And I'm sure that Ayano can clear anything she might have!" Misao said, extremely excited.
"I'm glad... I'm looking forward to seeing you guys more." Kagami said with a smile.
"So am I." Misao sighed, this one decidedly content.
"So Misao, no offense, but why ARE you here?" Kagami asked. "Where did you go? The last time I saw you was when we watched that video of Kona and Tony fighting." Kagami said.
"I uh... I had something I forgot to do before then. So I had to leave." Misao said.
"You're lying Misao." Kagami said. Misao looked shocked.
"How could you tell so easily?" Misao asked.
"When you lie... your fang shrinks." Kagami said. Misao giggled. "Seriously, you just kind of disappeared." Kagami said.
"Well, I really did have to go." Misao said. "And why I'm here... Well... I just wanted to see you. It's been a long time since I saw you Hiiragin." Misao smiled. She sat down and then laid back in the grass. "Hiiragin, you remember when we used to play in here?" Misao asked. Kagami mimicked her friend and laid down in the grass next to her.
"Yeah." She smiled. "You used to splash me with water." She said.
"And you used to get super angry and chase me around." Misao giggled.
"I don't think I ever caught you." Kagami said.
"Don't underestimate the star of the track team." Misao beamed with pride. Misao suddenly rolled over and dipped her hand in the water, swinging her arm. Her arm catching water well, she splashed the water and hit Kagami.
"Gah! You idiot!" Kagami shouted as she got up.
"Nah~!" Misao stuck her tongue out. Kagami smiled.
"Hey, I'm gonna get you!" Kagami shouted as she ran after Misao. Misao began running away from the Tsundere. Even though the two of them were running, chaser and chasee, both had a huge smile on their face. All that was missing was a giggling Ayano. As they ran around, Misao giggled. She turned and stopped. "Wah-!" Kagami tried to stop in time as Misao threw her arms to each side. Kagami, unable to stop, flew into Misao's arms. Misao hugged Kagami as the two fell to the ground. "Misao, that was dangerous!" Kagami scolded her friend.
"I guess you finally caught me, huh Hiiragin?" Misao asked with a smile. Kagami felt her anger dissipate as she smiled. "I love you Hiiragin." Misao said. "As a sister." She said, though she seemed to talk more to herself than to Kagami. Kagami smiled.
"I love you like a sister too, Misao." Kagami said. She flopped back onto the grass and sighed. "Now I gotta go get out of these clothes." Kagami said.
"I'll help." Misao offered.
"No you won't." Kagami rejected with a smile.
"Man~! Hiiragin, you were being so honest! That's crazy! I figured maybe I had a chance now that you're acting so weird." Misao said.
"You're an idiot." Kagami smiled. She got up. "I'll be right back." She said as she entered the house. Suddenly, another door opened.
"Hey ferret face." Konata said.
"Hey Chibi." Misao said. Konata came over and helped Misao up. Misao stood and looked Konata in the eye. "Hey Chibi?" Misao asked.
"Yeah?" Konata asked.
"Are you dating Hiiragin?" Misao asked. Konata sighed.
"Yes." She said. She could tell that Misao had figured it out. There was no point in lying at this point. Misao sighed.
"Konata..." Misao said, calling the mentioned Otaku to attention. "I love Hiiragin." Misao said. Konata sighed.
"I understand. Kagamin is easy to fall in love with." Konata said. "So then, can I expect competition?" Konata asked.
"Nah." Misao shook her head. "Hiiragin loves me like a sister!" Misao smiled. "She told me herself." Misao beamed with even more pride than before.
"Wow, you got Kagamin to be honest? I really can't underestimate you." Konata giggled a bit.
"Yeah. I don't wanna mess up what I have with Hiiragin. I know that Hiiragin really likes you Chibi. Just don't screw it up." Misao said. "'Cause if you fail, I'm gonna snatch her right from under your nose." Misao smiled.
"No problem! I'm always going to make Kagamin happy." Konata said. Misao smiled and closed her eyes.
"You best." She said. The two shook hands as an understanding passed between them. Neither would let anything bad happen to their favorite person in the world.
POV Tony
Tony opened his eyes to see a familiar face sitting in the chair across from him on the couch.
"Hey Boss." Tony said. "What's going on?" Tony asked.
"Man kid, look at you." Hachiman chuckled. "Laid up on a couch."
"Yeah, anything you could do about that?" Tony asked.
"Of course there is, but I'm not going to." Hachiman said.
"Why?" Tony asked.
"It's your own fault. When you almost died from using your Divine Well, it took all of your energy to not die." Hachiman said. "That left you weak. This disease is supernatural." Hachiman said. "The more power you have, the more it affects you." Hachiman said.
"Then why does Tsukasa have it worse than I do?" Tony asked. Hachiman looked confused.
"What? She does?" Hachiman asked. Tony nodded.
"Yeah. She's super sick." Tony said. Hachiman put a hand to his chin.
"That doesn't make any sense..." Hachiman looked thoroughly baffled. He shrugged. "Anyway, it's best to just let it run it's course. In someone as relatively weak as you, it shouldn't be fatal." Hachiman said. Tony sighed.
"Well that's comforting." He said sarcastically. "That's the most comforting thing you can tell me is that I won't die."
"It's odd you even caught it." Hachiman said. "You'd only be able to catch it if you made contact with a god or something who had it." Hachiman said. Tony shrugged. "Well, it still stands that you might have been able to avoid this situation if you hadn't used your Divine Well." Hachiman said.
"Well thanks for the scolding. I know that you won't help me, but can you at least heal Tsukasa? It isn't her fault that this happened. She has nothing to do with this." Tony said. Hachiman sighed.
"I don't know. She shouldn't even be able to get it. It only affects those with a Divine Well or with Divine blood." Hachiman said.
"Does it matter how much it would be diluted?" Tony asked.
"I can't imagine that would be the case." Hachiman said.
"We just learned that Kagami and Tsukasa were descendant from Yamato Takeru earlier." Tony said. "So they are technically descendant from Amaterasu." Tony said. Hachiman huffed.
"Well then. I guess that's why she has a soft spot for Tsukasa." Hachiman said.
"I guess so." Tony shrugged. "That also means that they're related to you." Tony chuckled. Hachiman scratched the back of his head.
"Distantly." Hachiman said.
"That would explain how Kagami got so strong there." Tony laughed. Hachiman looked confused.
"Where? What are you talking about?" Hachiman asked.
"The other day, we were ambushed by an assassin from the future who was a lot stronger than me." Tony began.
"Wait, WHAT?" Hachiman asked. "You're being attacked by assassins? From the future?" Hachiman asked. Tony scratched the back of his head.
"Well... Yeah. I haven't told you this before?" Tony asked.
"No. No you haven't." Hachiman said. "Why haven't you told me before?" Hachiman asked.
"Well, you got tired from my fight with Naruto, so I didn't call you during my match with the other assassins." Tony said. "That's why I used my Divine Well." Tony said. Hachiman sighed.
"You could have still called me. I was tired, but if you died..." Hachiman sighed.
"That's okay, then you could have resurrected me." Tony chuckled.
"It's not quite that easy, kid." Hachiman said. "You have to go through Susanoo to do it, and he's a bit... quirky." Hachiman said.
"Well so is Amaterasu." Tony chuckled.
"You would be too if you were as old as they were." Hachiman said.
"But it can't be all THAT difficult to get done, right? I mean, you did it for my mother and I'm just some kid who happened to grow up to be strong." Tony said.
"Well, your mother was a special case." Hachiman said.
"How so?" Tony asked.
"That's classified." Hachiman smiled.
"You suck." Tony said.
"No more than you." Hachiman said. Tony crossed his arms.
"Hey, at least I've gotten better." Tony said. "You've got no excuse."
"I don't need an excuse. I'm a Divine." Hachiman chuckled. "But in all seriousness, don't use your Divine Well like that until you're much more use to it." Hachiman said.
"I didn't mean to use it, I can't control it. But I was gonna die if I didn't, so I didn't have a choice!" Tony said.
"Yeah, about that kid." Hachiman said. "From now on, if something like that happens again where you're overwhelmed and you're going to die otherwise, CALL ME." Hachiman said. "Even if I'm tired, I should be able to take on anything that would come to fight you." Hachiman said. Tony sighed.
"Well that's comforting. I guess to you, I'm still nothing huh?" Tony asked.
"You're getting stronger, kid. But don't forget that you still haven't hit your full potential. Right now, you have no where to go but up." Hachiman said. "However... your circumstances really did call you to use your Divine Well. I suppose, just this once, I'll let you off the hook." Hachiman said.
"Cool, so you'll heal me?" Tony asked.
"Yeah. But next time, call me. If you don't and you wreck your body again, I won't be as lenient." Hachiman said.
"And you're gonna heal Tsukasa too, right?" Tony asked.
"Of course." Hachiman said.
"I'm actually pretty surprised that nobody has either heard us or woken up." Tony chuckled as he looked around. Tsukasa still laid on the opposite side of the bed.
"I stopped time." Hachiman said.
"Yeah, about that, how do you do that?" Tony asked.
"It's complicated. It also doesn't have any combat practicality." Hachiman said.
"Why not?" Tony asked.
"Well, basically it's a form of super speed. Right now, we're moving so fast, nobody can even perceive that we're talking. To attack something like this would carry with it all the momentum that that kind of speed entails. With normal speed, even enhanced speed, you can usually apply enough energy or summon help to offset the damage it causes you in backlash. But at near the speed of light, the kind of energy it would take to stop the damage is enormous." Hachiman said. "I'm throwing energy at it right now." Hachiman explained.
"So there's no way to enhance your speed?" Tony asked.
"Of course there are. Forcing a speed enhance with nothing but sheer energy will have this effect. However, there are more natural ways to get faster and stronger." Hachiman said.
"How is that?" Tony asked.
"I'm getting tired actually." Hachiman said. Tony looked incredulously at the god.
"You're joking. You kept this up for an hour when you first gave me my powers. And you lasted through all of my fire and healing." Tony said.
"I'm tired, okay? I still have to heal you and Tsukasa." Hachiman said. "Plus... If I know you, you'll want to test yourself against me again, right?" Tony chuckled.
"You've got me." Tony said. Hachiman sighed.
"Well, fine then. I guess it can't be helped." Hachiman said. He began speaking a spell to heal the two on the couch. Tony could feel his strength returning as his muscles gained power he had missed very dearly. Hachiman exhaled as reality seemed to ripple. Background noise that Tony hadn't noticed was missing continued as the two of them slowed down to regular speeds again. Suddenly, Masuta walked back into the room.
"Hey Ototo, you're up already?" Masuta asked as he walked closer. Upon seeing something in the chair that Miyuki had previously sat in, he looked over to see Hachiman. "Ah, hey Shin. Didn't we just see you after last tournament?" Masuta asked.
"Yeah, I came to check up on the kid." Hachiman said. Tony sat up.
"Hey look Aniki, all better!" Tony rolled his arm.
"Oh great. Now you're going to go fight and almost get killed again." Masuta chuckled.
"Actually, after hearing some new information." Hachiman glared at Tony for a moment. "I've decided I can't let this stand. I'm going to teach you to use your Divine Well at will." Hachiman said.
"Isn't that going to wreck my body again?" Tony asked. Hachiman shook his head.
"No, not really. During the course of the training, I'm going to start subjecting you to more and more energy and, hopefully, your body will adapt. If all goes well, you'll be able to use your Divine Well at will without killing yourself by the end of the training." Hachiman said. Tony cheered quietly.
"That's awesome. I can't wait." Tony said. Hachiman chuckled humorlessly.
"Just wait until we start the the training kid. Then tell me you can't wait." Hachiman said. There came a cute yawn as Tsukasa stretched.
"Morning Kan-kun~..." Tsukasa yawned. She looked around after rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Oh, hi there!" She greeted Hachiman happily. Hachiman rubbed the back of his head.
"You guys are getting too used to me being here. I used to strike fear in the hearts of man whenever I descended." Hachiman said. "When I entered the battlefield, entire armies would surrender immediately. Now what? I appear and the most reaction I get is a "Hi there!". That's kind of sad..." Hachiman chuckled.
"Well, every time we see you, something good happens!" Tsukasa said cheerfully. "Like this time, I feel a whole lot better! You did that, didn't you?" Tsukasa asked. Hachiman smiled.
"Yeah, I did... I guess I see your point. Still, it's weird. Not something I'm used to." Hachiman said. He sighed. "Well, did you still want to test yourself kid?" Hachiman asked Tony. Tony nodded.
"Yeah, that'd be great!" He said. Hachiman shrugged and stood up.
"Well, let's go then." He started out. Tony stood, but then thought of something.
"Hey, one second." He said. Hachiman turned to see Tony looking down towards the hall.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"... You think Miyuki would want to come?" Tony asked Masuta and Tsukasa. Tsukasa smiled.
"I think she'd like to be included." Masuta answered.
"You want to go get her up?" Tony asked. Masuta nodded.
"Yeah, I'm be right back." He said as he hustled down the hall. Tony felt a tug on his sleeve. He turned to see Tsukasa with a wide smile on her face.
"... Thanks..." She smiled.
"She's our friend and I felt bad about what she was saying. I didn't mean to make her feel like that." Tony said.
"I think we should try harder to include her in stuff." Tsukasa said.
"Well, we'll have to soon. I'm going to be going to train with Hachiman and with Kon-kon and Kagami dating, there may be some days where you're left alone. I'm sure Miyuki would absolutely love to see you more." Tony said. Tsukasa smiled and nodded.
"I'd like that too." Tsukasa answered before Masuta walked back down the hall, one cute airhead in tow. Once she was within sight of Tony, she flashed him an appreciative eye smile. He smiled back and nodded before following Hachiman. The five of them walked out of the room and out of the house. "Kan-kun, are you really going to fight again? After all that's happened?" Tsukasa asked.
"I just want to see where I stand now Tsukasa." Tony said. Tsukasa sighed.
"Alright then..." She said. They got out onto the street.
"You sure you're up to this kid? I don't want to fight you if you aren't." Hachiman said.
"I'm good." Tony nodded. Tony ran up and kicked in a roundhouse kick. Hachiman didn't move and let it hit his head. He brought up his fist and swung a backhand. Tony barely managed to duck under it before jumping away. "Whew. Can't believe I actually dodged something of yours outside of Sage Mode." Tony smiled. He grunted. "You ready now?" He asked. Hachiman nodded.
"Alright, then I'll get a bit more serious too." He smiled. He flashed towards Tony quicker than he could react. "Gnome!" He called. His foot hit the ground, causing it to crack as he caught Tony's stomach on his fist. The power much stronger than anything Tony had felt to date, Hachiman thrust his strike and threw Tony into the distance. The four people left teleported somewhere. Once they set foot on the ground again, they saw Tony, sitting in a large clearing, barely conscious. Hachiman sighed as he walked over and sat next to the boy. "Look what happens when I don't hold back..." He said. "You're still just a kid." Hachiman said as Tony breathed heavily, trying to remain conscious. "You've got this limitless potential running through your veins. You just need to fulfill it." Hachiman said. He cracked his neck and stood. "You'll be fine. I held back so it wouldn't be fatal." Hachiman said as he began to walk away. Tsukasa ran over to Tony.
"Kan-kun!" She shouted. She remembered something that Amaterasu had taught her a while back. "..." She looked at her fallen boyfriend and wondered if it would have any effect. Might as well see...
Hachiman sighed as he looked up to the sky. He was trying to rid his mind of the fact that he had just nearly killed Tony with his strike. "Damn kid, making me do that..." He mumbled.
"Ancient Goddess Lyrics: Song of the Hero! Go!" Hachiman heard Tsukasa shout. Suddenly, however, torrents of power began coming from behind him.
"Huh?" He turned around to see a red light obscuring Tony's image as a pillar of light shone down on him. He heard Tsukasa's voice.
"Through the darkness crying out for peace~!" She sang. With a loud crack, the faded as Tony became visible again. He wore an armor not unlike Konata's had been during the final fight of the last tournament, although his was red. He landed on the ground.
"What's... with this power...?" He asked no one in particular.
"... What." Hachiman said. Tony looked up at Hachiman.
"Ready for round two?" He asked. Hachiman, baffled by the sheer power coming off of the boy now, nodded. Tony appeared in front of his and struck at the god. Catching him in the face, Hachiman was thrown back across the clearing.
"... WHAT." Hachiman said blankly. He picked himself up. "Where did this kind of power come from?" He mumbled. He looked back at Tsukasa singing. "There's no way..." He mumbled. Tony dashed again. Hachiman brought the same fist he had a moment ago and struck Tony in the stomach again. Tony took it and continued, kicking Hachiman in the head. Hachiman was sent flying again. "Damn!" He yelled as he swung himself around to right himself. He landed. "I'm going to have to get serious to fight him like this!" Hachiman said. Tony flew up again as Hachiman prepared himself. As Hachiman powered up, Tony stopped and was forced to the ground. He began yelling as the light enveloped him again. With a loud snap, the armor disappeared, as did the power he had had for that moment. He fell onto his hands and knees. "Kid!" Hachiman ran over, as did the rest of the group.
"Kan-kun!" Tsukasa shouted.
"The hell did you do to him?" Hachiman asked.
"I-I don't know!" Tsukasa said. "Amaterasu said to sing that song when he was getting beat up and she just told me a while ago that it would work now!" Tsukasa said. Hachiman growled in frustration.
"Damn, that power was way too much for him." He said. "Tsukasa, never do that again unless all of your lives are on the line." Hachiman warned as he began to heal the damage that the song had done. Tsukasa teared up a bit and nodded.
"I'm so sorry Kan-kun!" Tsukasa said as she rubbed his back and hugged him. He groaned loudly as Hachiman healed him.
"That energy..." Hachiman mumbled.
"It was odd." Miyuki said. Hachiman looked over.
"What?" He asked. Miyuki shook her head.
"It was just a feeling." She said. Hachiman eyed her for a moment and returned his attention to Tony.
"What about it?" Masuta asked, hoping for something that would tell him what had happened to his brother.
"Don't worry about it, I just have to check something when I return to the heavens." Hachiman said. Masuta shrugged.
"Is Ototo going to be okay?" He asked. Hachiman nodded.
"Yeah. He should this time. Luckily, he stopped before it did too much damage to him." He said. Tony groaned again as he was finished being healed. He rolled his shoulders again.
"Damn. That power was amazing..." Tony mumbled.
"But you absolutely can't use it unless everything is on the line." Hachiman said. "That kind of power is just way too much for you."
"Well, it wrecked me in about five seconds, so yeah. Way too much." Tony commented.
"I'm so sorry Kan-kun!" Tuskasa apologized again as she hugged him. Tony smiled.
"It isn't your fault, you didn't know that would happen." Tony said. "I'm just grateful that the damage wasn't worse." He said. "So what happened anyway?" Tony asked.
"I'm not sure." Hachiman asked. "I have to ask Amaterasu a few things later though." Hachiman said as he gazed up to the sky once again. He sighed. "Well either way, you've grown since I fought you kid. You're a lot stronger." Hachiman said.
"How much so?" Tony asked. Hachiman chuckled.
"Maybe it's better I don't tell you. Don't want you getting a swelled head." Hachiman said.
"Oh come on! When have I ever gotten a swelled head?" Tony asked.
"Yes, God of Fighting." Miyuki commented. Tony blushed a bit.
"You know what I mean." Tony said.
"Yes, and that's why I commented with what I mean." Miyuki eye smiled. Tony chuckled.
"Going to be nice having you for a sister in law." Tony looked over at Miyuki, who proceeded to blush quite profusely.
"Provided you aren't killed one of these days by a deity whom you've challenged before we marry." Miyuki responded. Tony smiled, but found himself with a retort. Hachiman laughed.
"I don't see much of you girl, but I like you." Hachiman said.
"We're talking about marriage here and we haven't been dating for a week." Masuta said a bit nervously. Miyuki eye smiled over at him.
"Don't worry, Masuta. I simply played along with Kanpeki-san's line of thought." Miyuki giggled.
"Besides Miyuki, you come from a proper family, right?" Tony asked. "I can't imagine that your mother would approve of marrying at such a young age to someone you just met. As much as Tsukasa can prove us wrong, this isn't a Disney movie." Tony chuckled.
"As a matter of fact, my mother has been pushing marriage between the two of us quite a bit." Miyuki smiled, though they could tell the older woman's antics had been quite troublesome.
"You're joking." Tony said.
"Once she tried to lock us in a room together." Masuta said. "Shoved us in and turned the key on the room." He chuckled.
"How did you two get out?" Tsukasa asked. Miyuki giggled.
"Masuta turned the lock on the door knob on the inside of the room." Miyuki said.
"So you just... unlocked the door?" Tsukasa asked. Miyuki nodded.
"Quite." She said. Tony looked around meanwhile.
"Hey Boss, where are we?" He asked.
"This place was named by Izanagi himself. It's called Cataclysm Fields." Hachiman said.
"Why is called that?" Tony asked.
"Something about alternate dimensions." Hachiman shrugged. "I'm surprised you flew this far. This is a long way from Saitama." Hachiman said.
"Where is this?" Tony asked, looked around.
"Somewhere between Mt. Daimugen and Mt. Hijiri, to use your names for them." Hachiman said.
"... What." Tony said blankly. "How the hell did I survive a punch that threw me from Saitama to south of Mt. Hijiri?" Tony asked. Hachiman chuckled.
"The same way that you do just about everything. Your ability to manipulate energy can act on its own to protect you. You used most of your energy to protect yourself, and I held back so you wouldn't die." Hachiman said.
"Holy..." Tony mumbled as he looked around at the scenery. Hachiman hadn't been lying about where he had landed. "Hey Boss..." Tony said.
"What's up kid?" Hachiman asked.
"Could you take us, me, Kon-kon and Kagami somewhere?" Tony asked. He wondered why he hadn't thought to ask before.
"Where's that?" Hachiman asked.
"A place called Seifa Utaki." Tony said. Hachiman seemed interested.
"Isn't that mostly the point of you learning to control your Divine Well, so that you could get yourself there by yourself?" Hachiman asked.
"Yeah, but circumstances have become a lot more dire, right?" Tony asked. Hachiman shrugged.
"Well... I guess I could lend a helping hand." Hachiman chuckled. "I have to warn you, getting her help might not be easy."
"If it was, it wouldn't be worth it." Tony said. Hachiman chuckled again.
"Well that's true too." Hachiman said. "I suppose. Just let me know when you guys are ready to go." Hachiman said.
"Thanks Boss." Tony said. "I'll be sure to." He said, looking over at his girlfriend, his brother, and Miyuki. Silently, he made a vow to let them continue to talk so cheerfully forever.
Luckier Channel
The camera opens on an empty set.
"Where the hell are they?" The director shouted.
"We don't know, they still haven't called!" Someone off camera shouted.
"Is that Ono brat coming?" The director asked.
"No, he refused to come back." The person said.
"Then what the hell are we filming for?" The director asked.
"I really don't know!" The person said.

Aftersection
Yeah, it's been three months. Shit happens. A part of my house collapsed and literally every member of my immediate family was injured to the point of not being able to take care of themselves. So I haven't really been able to work on this for the last month and a half. Today they yelled at me to stop using all of my time on them, so I decided to work on this! I'm sorry for such an incredibly late update. The only person who didn't break bones in their body from the collapse was my twenty month old nephew and he can't really take care of himself. So that's been fun.
On a happy note! Do you remember last chapter's beginning author notes where I lamented the lack of Hiiragincest stories on the market today? Well do you like drabbles? How about the Hiiragis? How about pairing specifically geared towards the Hiiragis? Then have I got an author for you! A new and upcoming author that I've read by pure chance by the name of FarnesyFudge! This gentleman writes Yuri drabbles, some of his stories involving the Hiiragi daughters (And one with the mother! Go Miki!) and Azumanga Daioh! If any of that sounds appealing to you, go read! If you're looking for a huge story, one of those that drolls on and on and never seems like it's going to end that'll pass up 600,000 words in a few chapters, it isn't for you. But if you need a quick pickmeup with a short, feel-good story that you could probably read in five to ten minutes, definitely check it out. For those of you with short attention spans and even shorter memories (Looking at you, me!) that's FarnesyFudge. Enjoy!
Please, let me know what you think of this chapter! It was mostly written in a couple of bursts!
