Chapter 58: Just a Lazy Rest of the Day~
Hello~ everyone~! Been a while! Like, a LONG while! I've really been busy with The Rabbit and the Puppy, so it's been rough.
Kimochi, I actually have played that game, and they are references to it. It ended up being one of my favorite games for, and I kid you not, the plot.
Gigarot, I figured I would include a new section for all of those who don't remember what happened, hence Luckier Star Kai. I know I take way too long to update, so I was hoping someone would get some use out of it. Sylph is pretty fun to write.
Nomutant, thanks for reviewing this one before going off to read TRTP, I woulda been sad if I had one less review. Slice of life chapters are also fun to write, they're just a bit more difficult to write. When characters decide to, say, have a lazy day and stay in all day, that's easy to show in an anime or manga, but it doesn't translate as easily to paper. If I were GOING to do a time skip, which I might, it would mainly be to pass over days where they're training. So not much slice of life stuff going on there. And that example helps, I'll keep that in mind. How man days has the story been? Well, the most I can tell you is, do you remember a few chapters ago when Konata commented on how long it felt like they were out of school and Yutaka mentioned it had only been so many days? That's how many days it had actually been since they left school. Other than that, I can't say I have any idea. It's one of the reasons I said I was screwing with the time line. And Luckier Star Kai is basically what happened in the last chapter. Since I don't update for a long time, it's kind of reminder about what happened in the last chapter. Hachiman being human to begin with wasn't something I mentioned unless you mean when I talked about Yamato Takeru, who was also human. He was Emperor Osuo, grandfather of Emperor Ojin, who was deified to Hachiman. The circumstances around his deification are of my design though. Damn, that turned pretty long.
Prospector, while I'll try my best to keep going another hundred chapters, I'm not sure about Tsukasa getting pregnant on EXACTLY chapter 157, if at all. Well, whatever the case, I'm going to keep writing until the end!
Redlerred, I know what you mean about the slice of life parts, they ARE a lot of fun to write when I can think of them. It's more than, since plot chapters are already planned out for the most part, they're quicker to write. It's about finding a balance that I don't know if I have yet. I'm trying though!
Z-kun, sorry this took so long to get out. My family has been through a lot, and we're going to get a house, which is a lot of work. I know it isn't much of an excuse, but real life always has to keep you busy, huh? Well, I hope this chapter entertains enough!
So sorry about the, what has it been, half a year since the last chapter? The main reason it slowed down was because of TRTP, but that isn't an excuse. Anyway, I hope this is a good chapter! Even though I've been out for a while on this story, I really only ended up working on it since I released the TRTP chapter before last... So it isn't TOO bad for a month's work I hope! Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Luckier Star Kai 57
"We're still pretending to hate each other." Konata and Misao said in scary unison.
"I wanna live here!" Misao said.
"I do live here!" Konata used roar! Enemy Misao fled!
"I love you both." Kagami said.
"CHEATER!" Konata shouted as she picked up her phone.
"Kon-kon, let's go to the place!" Tony said.
"Kagami, wanna go to the place?" Konata asked.
"Hell yeah I wanna go to the place!" Kagami said.
"Let's go to the place." Konata said. Tony, Tsukasa and Hachiman appeared.
"TO THE PLACE!" Hachiman used teleport! Tony, Kagami and Konata vanished!
"We're here!" Hachiman said.
"Let's go!" Konata shouted.
"You not going?" Tony asked.
"No." Hachiman said.
"Is it because you're old?" Tony asked.
"Yeah!" Hachiman said.
"We're in the place!" Konata said.
"What was that?" Kagami asked.
"What?" Konata asked.
"What was that?" Kagami asked.
"What?" Tony asked.
"What was that?" Kagami asked.
"WHAT?" Konata and Tony asked.
"There's nothing around us." Tony said.
"Except SPIRITS!" A green ball shouted.
"Spirits?" Konata asked.
"I'm a spirit!" Sylph said cheerfully. "Hey, it's you!"
"Who me?" Kagami asked.
"Oh, wait... It's not you!" Sylph said.
"ATTACK!" Konata shouted.
"COUNTER!" Sylph shouted as a wind 'massaged' Konata.
"Ah~! Hey, wait a second!" Konata shouted.
"I CAN'T HOLD IT THAT LONG!" Sylph complained as her barrier fell.
"ATTACK!" Konata plucked the spirit.
"WAAAAAH!" Sylph cried.
"Sorry." Konata apologized.
"Okay!" Sylph said cheerfully.
"I win!" Konata cheered.
"ATTACK!" A woman so unimportant she doesn't even have a name shouted.
"Barrier!" Konata said.
"Take your barrier and blow!" The woman broke it.
"Barrier!" Konata shouted.
"Not blow, BLOW!" Unimportant Woman A gave emphasis to her last word.
"And speed time!" Sylph shouted.
"Boop." Konata knocked Unimportant Woman A on the noggin.
"It's implied that I know Oji!" Sylph said.
"Yeah, we know each other!" Hachiman smiled. "How'd you do, Konata?"
"It's implied I was molested by wind!" Konata said.
"And now we're here!" Another group of people whom only one was given a name, and then not mentioned.
"I'm gonna beat them up!" Hachiman said.
"If you can!" The leader said.
"ATTACK!" Hachiman beat them up.
"Oh no, he beat us up!" The leader groaned.
"I'm gonna kill you." Hachiman said.
"Don't you do it." The leader said.
"Imma kill you." Hachiman said.
"Don't you do it!" The leader said. "ATTACK!"
"Nope." Hachiman said.
"Dang it." The leader exploded and did not die.
"Boss, Tsukasa!" Tony said.
"Bitchin', let's go!" Hachiman said.
"Hey Tsukasa, little crispy here!" Konata said.
"Spell song~!" Tsukasa sang.
"Hello, I'm Unimportant Minion A, please come with me." Unimportant Minion A requested.
"... No." Tony said.
"Alright, I'm gonna kill you!" Tsukuyomi said.
"I... am here now..." Fujin said.
"Can you help?" Konata asked.
"I... will explain..." Fujin said.
"FUJI~!" Sylph cheered. The old god sighed.
"Mortal. Do the thing." Fujin said. "And this is your sword now." Fujin said.
"ATTACK!" Tsukuyomi shouted.
"COUNTER!" Konata shouted as she blew Tsukuyomi, causing everyone to giggle immaturely.
"How?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"We got ours from places!" Tsukasa said.
"It's implied that the gems are important." Tsukuyomi said. "Wanna test it?"
"Yeah!" Tsukasa said.
"Alright. ATTACK!" Tsukuyomi shouted as he blasted Tony in the chest.
"Gufah!" Tony shouted.
"Big phrase!" Tsukasa said.
"I'm back!" Tony said.
"Nice attribute." Tsukuyomi said.
"There are attributes?" Tony asked.
"..." Tsukuyomi sighed. He simply vanished.
"Let's go see my brother and Miyuki!" Tony said.
"Hey, you're here!" Masuta said.
"I did the thing." Miyuki said.
"Cool!" Tony said.
"Miyuki, this is a thing you can do!" Konata said.
"Thank you." Miyuki bowed. An epic battle commenced and... Done!
"I'm mad!" Kagami shouted as she left.
"Are you mad?" Tsukasa asked.
"Nope." Kagami said.
"Where are we going?" Tsukasa asked.
"Iunno." Tony shrugged.
"Kbye." Kagami left.
LUCKY~ STAR~!
"... Okay, WHAT?" Kirito asked.
Rejoining the Tsundere
Kagami walked along the sidewalk on her way home, humming quite happily. Even though she had said she was going to let Konata suffer, she didn't really mean for it to be too long. After all, the Otaku lived with her now. She's be home by dinner time, when she got hungry. Besides, Kagami also had to admit that the whole "Serene Mind" thingy may be pretty cool, but it totally didn't fit her style. She was mainly training so that she could defend Tsukasa and her friends. And if there came a time where Konata or Tsukasa were attacked at all, let alone with the intent to kill them, a serene mind would be a VERY far off dream. Of course, now that Tsukasa was living with Tony, she would likely also be a lot safer.
"Heh." Kagami chuckled. She sort of felt bad for her mother. Her mother had had a nice amount of time where she didn't have to do much of the house work since Tsukasa had begun taking an increasing amount of it over. Now that Tsukasa was living with Tony, Miki would have to return to keeping up the house. Not that she would have any difficulty or anything, but she was still not used to it anymore. She only really had to do everything when Tsukasa was over sleeping or at school. Of course, if her mother but asked, Kagami would be absolutely happy to help. She COULD always teach Kagami how to do stuff, but no. You catch ONE vacuum cleaner on fire and suddenly you're not allowed to touch the new one. Silly people. She sighed. She couldn't do this. She pulled her phone out and dialed her first speed dial.
"Kagamin?" Konata answered.
"Hey Kona." Kagami said.
"What's up Kagamin?" Konata asked.
"I love you." Kagami said. She heard Konata giggle on the other end.
"Couldn't stay away from me, huh?" Konata asked. Kagami glared at the phone.
"You're supposed to say you love me too." Kagami said flatly.
"Does that need to be said?" Konata asked.
"Of course! I said it to you, ya know?" Kagami said.
"Okay! Hang on!" Konata said.
"What do you mean, hang on?" Kagami asked.
"Are you between Miyuki's house and ours?" Konata asked.
"Well... Yeah. Why?" Kagami asked.
"One sec, don't move!" Konata shouted as she hung up. Kagami glared at the phone.
"... That little brat." Kagami said. She sighed and she began tapping her foot, waiting for the undoubtedly over-the-top display her girlfriend was about to put on. After a moment, however, she could see a small cloud of dust in the distance. "... She can NOT be that cliche." Kagami commented idly. Said cloud was moving closer at a rapidly growing pace. Kagami got a bad feeling that she should move.
"I LOVE YOU TOO~!" Konata shouted as she leaped through the air. Using the culmination of all of the training she had undergone thus far and all of her previous experience, Kagami stepped to the side, allowing Konata to fly past at supersonic speeds. The Otaku bounced a few times off the ground. Konata whimpered a little as she cowered before the mighty Kagami's battle prowess. "So cruel, Kagamin..." Konata said.
"How did you even get here that fast?" Kagami asked.
"Sylph! I figured I could get used to summoning her and it wouldn't take as much energy as it did before! Didn't Tsukuyomi say the more we used our power, the less energy it would use?" Konata asked.
"You say we and our, but I don't have any powers or spirits of anything." Kagami said.
"You know what I mean, Kagamin!" Konata said.
"Yeah, I guess so. So, how is Miyuki?" Kagami asked.
"She's really good at learning things." Konata said. "She learned a whole lot about how to fight and all that while I was there, but she'll be fine on her own. She's got Masuta there, after all." Konata said.
"Cool." Kagami said. "Is she as quick a learner as I am?" Kagami asked, more out of curiosity. Konata smiled and shook her head.
"Nowhere close. She's better at keeping calm, but you learn things at an unnatural pace." Konata said.
"I'm guessing that's good." Kagami chuckled. "So what should we do now that you're here?" Kagami asked.
"It's been a little while since we went on a date, hasn't it?" Konata asked. Kagami smiled.
"Yes, it definitely has been. Where should we go?" Kagami asked.
"Where do you want?" Konata asked.
"Hm... We could go to Gamers, but it'd take a while to get there." Kagami said.
"We'd have to take the subway." Konata said. A moment of silence passed between the two.
"So not Gamers." Kagami said.
"Not Gamers, no." Konata said. "We could go window shop at that shop near your house. They have a lot of cool stuff." Konata suggested.
"My house is far away too." Kagami said.
"Weren't you heading there anyway?" Konata asked.
"Yeah, but that was when I was going home for the night." Kagami said. "If we're having a date, I want it to be something we can spend more than ten minutes at." Kagami said.
"Then we'll run there!" Konata suggested.
"I don't have a spirit." Kagami said.
"You don't need one, we'll just run regularly." Konata said. "Come on, it'll be good training!" Konata said.
"Well, instead of a shop, why don't we just go to dinner?" Kagami asked.
"That'll work too!" Konata said. She grabbed Kagami's hand and smiled.
"To the restaurant!" Konata shouted.
"Onward to adventure!" Kagami shouted as the both of them began running.
With the Other Couple
"So Tsukasa, what do you wanna do?" Tony asked.
"I dunno Kan-kun... We could go home! I was thinking of making a new kind of chicken!" Tsukasa said.
"Sure. I'm always up to eating some of your cooking Tsukasa." Tony said. "Can I watch again?" Tony asked. Tsukasa smiled and fidgeted.
"If you want... Kan-kun." Tsukasa smiled. "How do you think we should go? Subway?" Tsukasa asked.
"Never the subway." Tony said. Tsukasa jumped.
"Oh... Okay." Tsukasa said.
"Bad things happen on the subway, Tsukasa. Bad things." Tony said. "I'll just poof us home."
"Oh, yeah! I keep forgetting you can do that." Tsukasa smiled. "It feels like it's been a long time since we've been home." Tsukasa said.
"I guess I understand how you feel. With everything going on and getting serious, it feels like it's been too long since we've got to laze around and do nothing." Tony said. "You ready to go home, Tsukasa?" Tony asked. Tsukasa nodded.
"Uh-huh! I'm ready Kan-kun!" Tsukasa said. Tony hugged her to initiate contact and used his magic to apparate. The two touched down outside his home. "Whoa!" Tsukasa stumbled. She clutched her stomach. "I... don't think I'll ever get used to that..."
"I still haven't." Tony said. "Do you still think you can cook?" Tony asked. Tsukasa nodded.
"I think so! If I concentrate again, I bet I can do it." Tsukasa said, looking quite determined. Tony smiled. His girlfriend could be nothing less. "Let's go!" Tsukasa smiled as she began to walk to the house.
"Nope." Tony said.
"... Nope?" Tsukasa asked.
"Nope." Tony said as he bent down and scooped her up in his arms. Tsukasa blushed horribly.
"K-K-Kan-kun...! This is..." She mumbled. He opened the door the same way that he teleported the two there.
"Why do you think I teleported us outside the house when I could have just as easily done it inside?" Tony asked. Tsukasa averted her gaze out of embarrassment. Tony chuckled at how cute she was as he carried her inside the house. "Alright, that's as much as I've seen in the shows, I don't really know where to go from here." He said.
"I... I think you put me down..." Tsukasa said. "Unless... you don't want to?" Tsukasa asked. Tony smiled.
"I don't. But then you couldn't cook." Tony said. "Truly, that would be a crime against the hungry of the world." Tony said.
"I bet I could cook even with you holding me!" Tsukasa said confidently. Tony smiled.
"Where is all this confidence coming from? Gotta admit, I kinda like it." Tony said. Tsukasa nodded a determined nod.
"If it's for Kan-kun, I could do anything!" Tsukasa said, almost to herself.
"I wouldn't doubt it." Tony said. Regardless, he wanted to observe her cooking at full capacity again and it would be more difficult to do that if he were holding her. As such, he put her down.
"Okay... Chicken time!" Tsukasa said. Tony followed her into the kitchen. He breathed deeply as he powered up.
Sage mode... He thought, increasing how quickly he could process information. Like this, surely he would be able to track Tsukasa's movements. Sure enough, as Tsukasa concentrated, she began to move, preheating the oven. Tony watched her closely as her hand reached for a pan. She grabbed it and moved it up, putting chicken inside. When did she grab the chicken. There was no way...
"Cooking is so fun~! Cooking is so fun~!" Tsukasa sang to herself as she moved through a new recipe that she prepared as if she had a thousand times before. Tony watched as she poured honey over the perfectly seasoned chicken. Wait, perfectly seasoned? When did that happen? How could Tsukasa possibly move faster than Tony, even with all his power, could see. He began providing energy to her, knowing it would begin dropping rapidly just like it had before. By the time he had made the command known for him to give her energy, the chicken was in the oven. "Now it's time to take a break and see what we have done~." Tsukasa finished her little song. Tony sighed and let his power slip. This had ceased being amusing. While it was certainly cool seeing something like that, seeing his girlfriend overwhelm him in speed was disconcerting. Konata was at least semi-understandable, especially now that Sylph was helping her, but Tsukasa? Tony crossed his arms. "It'll be a little while before dinner is ready, so let's go do something." Tsukasa said. She hummed. "Usually I get really tired after I cook super fast. But I didn't get tired this time." Tsukasa said.
"I made sure you didn't run out of energy." Tony said. Tsukasa smiled.
"I don't really get it, but thanks!" Tsukasa smiled. "You're always helping me out!" Tsukasa said.
"Of course. I love you." Tony smiled.
"I love you too!" Tsukasa said cheerfully.
"Want to go watch a Disney movie?" Tony asked.
"Always!" Tsukasa said excitedly, happy to have a boyfriend who knew what she liked. The two walked into the living room.
Dinner with the First Couple
Konata and Kagami finally stopped running, Kagami panting a little bit.
"That was... a little rough..." Kagami panted.
"Don't worry, Kagamin, we'll get your endurance up!" Konata said.
"Hey." The two heard a voice.
"No." Kagami said.
"Kagamin?" Konata asked. Kagami sighed and turned to see Hachiman.
"No. We're on a date." Kagami said.
"It's kind of important." Hachiman said.
"Is it still going to be important later?" Kagami asked.
"Well, yeah." Hachiman said.
"Are we going to die immediately if we don't see or do whatever you're here for?" Kagami asked.
"Well... No." Hachiman said.
"Then tell us later." Kagami said. Hachiman glared at her.
"... Who, exactly, do you think you're ordering around?" Hachiman asked.
"You, now we'll talk later." Kagami said. Hachiman continued to glare at her for a moment more before vanishing. Kagami sighed.
"Wow Kagami, you just ordered around a god. Like, a literal god. And he listened!" Konata said.
"No offense to him, but I just want to share a lovely date with you. Just you. No supernatural crap, no gods, no fighting. Just you and me." Kagami said. Konata smiled.
"That sounds like a good time to me." She said. The two entered the restaurant they had ended up at and sat to wait for a table to open up.
"Man... Why does waiting have to suck so bad?" Kagami asked.
"Well, this is why I come prepared!" Konata said, producing her 3DS. She flipped it open and turned it on.
"Oh, so it's just me who's gonna be bored?" Kagami asked.
"Maybe you shoulda brought something, Kagamin~." Konata chimed.
"What are you even playing?" Kagami asked.
"Legend of Zelda." Konata said.
"Ah... Which one?" Kagami asked.
"Link Between Worlds." Konata said.
"Ah..." Kagami nodded. She hadn't really kept up on the Zelda games. They weren't really her genre.
"It's pretty awesome, 'cause the map is a lot like Link to the Past, an older Zelda game. So noobs aren't taxed for not knowing the old games, but people who HAVE played them are at an advantage." Konata said. Kagami smiled.
"I'm guessing you played the old one a lot, huh?" Kagami asked.
"Heh, it was on the Super Nintendo." Konata said. "Back in the day when it first came out, our T.V. was so bad, you couldn't even read the text. So we had to just find out where to get stuff and what to do." Konata said. Kagami giggled a bit. She loved it when Konata seemed so happy. And Konata usually only got that happy when talking about either Kagami, anime, or video games, though Kagami only knew about the latter two. "Of course, me and Dad got through it no problem!" Konata beamed with pride. "Even maxed out all of the heart containers and got all of the end game items!" Konata said. Kagami smiled.
"Looks like you two were quite the players back in the day." Kagami said.
"Hey, I'm even better now than I was back then!" Konata said.
"I dunno, if we were to go head to head in a first person shooter..." Kagami smiled.
"Is that... a challenge?" Konata asked in disbelief. Kagami smiled.
"You know it." Kagami said, knowing she was likely signing her own death warrant. Even as skilled in the genre as Kagami was, challenging the Queen of Games was tantamount to suicide. However, for something to talk about, Kagami was willing to brave such a challenge.
"Then when we get home, we'll have to settle this like ladies." Konata said.
"Yes we will." Kagami smiled.
"Excuse me." Someone came up. "A table has opened up. Would you like to be seated?" They asked.
"Yes please." Kagami smiled.
"Very well. This way." The person said. The two of them followed the person into the restaurant. They were showed to their table, where they sat down. Each of them opened their menu.
"What would you like Kagamin? My treat!" Konata said.
"Kona, what money do you have?" Kagami asked. A drop of sweat rolled down the back of the Otaku's head.
"Um... I'll think of something!" Konata said. Kagami sighed.
"You're hopeless." Kagami said. She smiled. "I'll cover us." Kagami said.
"Kagamin, you have money?" Konata asked.
"It's backup money. But you can pay me back the next time you win a tournament. It should be easy with that spirit, right?" Kagami smiled.
"But that's too easy! If I summoned Sylph right away, the fight would be over way too quickly!" Konata complained.
"Heh. Maybe I'll enter one too sometime." Kagami said. Konata shrugged.
"So how much money do you have, Kagamin?" Konata asked.
"Enough." Kagami said. "Order whatever you want, Kona." Kagami said.
"I hear the motoyaki is really good here." Konata said.
"Well, let's get a couple orders of that then." Kagami said. The two of them closed their menu. They clicked the button to call the waitress, who came over promptly.
"Are you ready to order?" She asked. Kagami couldn't help but think how cute the waitress was. Nowhere close to Konata, but she was still above average. Her figures were much more generous than Konata's. Kagami also couldn't but feel a little guilty for looking at the waitress like that.
"Yeah, we're gonna get two orders of oyster motoyaki." Kagami said.
"Actually, I'm kind of in the mood for chicken." Konata said. Kagami huffed.
"Well fine, get yourself some chicken then." Kagami said.
"Do you have just regular fried chicken?" Konata asked. The waitress smiled and nodded.
"Tell you what, just for you, the chicken is all you can eat. You a leg girl or a breast girl?" She asked in a tone Kagami knew all too well. It was the same she flirted with Konata with.
"Um... I'll take some chicken breasts, please..." Konata blushed a bit. The waitress giggled.
"And to drink?" She asked.
"Tea, please." Kagami, with a effort, kept her cool.
"Same here." Konata said.
"Alright. And I'll talk to you about dessert later~." She chimed at Konata as she walked off to get the orders. Konata looked at Kagami to confirm that what she thought was happening was indeed happening.
"Oh~, she wants to talk to you about dessert later." Kagami teased her girlfriend.
"So that wasn't just me!" Konata said.
"No, she was totally flirting with you." Kagami said.
"Man, I thought if anyone would be flirted with, it would be you Kagamin." Konata said.
"Gah! What does that mean?" Kagami asked.
"You're a lot cuter than me, you know?" Konata said.
"... No way." Kagami chuckled.
"Of course you are." Konata said.
"That waitress seems to disagree." Kagami smirked at her small girlfriend.
"Man, I used to be able to flirt right back." Konata giggled. Kagami shrugged.
"Meh. Say what you want. Just remember you come home with me." Kagami said the last sentence rather sternly. Konata lit up.
"My Kagami DOES love me!" Konata said.
After Saving China...
Tony and Tsukasa sat on the couch, Tsukasa's head on Tony's shoulder and his head on her head. Mulan ending, Tony and Tsukasa both sighed.
"You know, if Shang had looked down when he had picked Mulan up, the whole movie would have been over a lot sooner." Tony chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess so... And I wonder what her family said about how she just kinda disappeared? She must have been away from home for months during training and war and everything!" Tsukasa said.
"I know, right? And how did the Emperor NOT have bodyguards at the end of the movie?" Tony asked. "Isn't that a major threat?" Tony asked.
"Didn't he send them out earlier? They said they would protect the palace, but he told them to send everyone out to protect his people!" Tsukasa said.
"Oh yeah, I guess that's true." Tony said.
"And they thought the Huns were defeated already, so why would he need bodyguards?" Tsukasa asked.
"That's true too..." Tony chuckled.
"The Emperor even says a single grain of rice can tip the scale!" Tsukasa said.
"I give up, I give up..." Tony chuckled, putting his hands up as if in defense. Tsukasa beamed with pride. Tsukasa didn't lose in contests of Disney. "Hey Tsukasa." Tony asked.
"Hm?" Tsukasa asked.
"How are Tereya and Mikado? I haven't really seen them since the tournament." Tony asked. "I know you left with them then." Tony said.
"They great! Teri-chan and Mika-chan are doing good, but there's something... going on..." Tsukasa said.
"Hm? Going on?" Tony asked.
"Well... Mika-chan... Geez, I don't know if I should say it." Tsukasa said.
"She loves Tereya." Tony said. "Is that it?" He asked. Tsukasa nodded her head, though she looked surprised.
"You know?" She asked.
"Yeah, Mikado told me." Tony said.
"Well, she likes Teri-chan, but... I don't know if Teri-chan likes her back... Or even likes girls... ya know?" Tsukasa asked.
"Ah... I understand." Tony said. "That's certainly a predicament." Tony said.
"I mean... I don't know what to do, you know?" Tsukasa asked. Tony hummed.
"That's a tough one." Tony sighed. "I don't know what to tell you." Tony said. We DID go on a date... Tony thought. That didn't bode well with Mikado's chances. He relayed his concerns to Tsukasa.
"Well... I thought about that too..." Tsukasa said. "But I was kind of hoping it would be something like... You're kind of a hero to her, you know?" Tsukasa asked. "Maybe it was that she wanted to date her hero?" Tsukasa asked
"A... A hero..." Tony smiled to himself. Tsukasa gave him a playful shove.
"Why are you getting so happy?" Tsukasa giggled.
"I guess that's a reasonable idea." Tony said. "So is there anything I can do to help?" Tony asked. Tsukasa thought.
"I don't really think so... Thank you for the thought though!" Tsukasa said.
"Oh, I have an idea! What if I fund a few girl's nights out?" Tony asked. Tsukasa lightened up.
"I know I didn't fall in love with you for your rugged good looks." Tsukasa giggled. Tony beamed with pride as the couple continued watching television, figuring the matter had been talked out, at least for now.
To the Date! And possibly a threesome?
"Are you two doing alright?" The waitress asked after walking over.
"I'd like some more chicken, please." Konata said, taking full advantage of the waitress' generosity.
"Any specific piece or should I surprise you?" The waitress winked.
"Well you know me. I'll just take your breasts." Konata smiled at the waitress, who laughed.
"I'll take a refill please." Kagami said. The waitress nodded.
"Sure thing." She said as she took Kagami's cup. She left the table. Kagami sighed.
"Are you sure this is okay?" Konata asked. "I like flirting and all that, but you're my girlfriend! I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I?" Konata asked.
"It's okay Kona. Besides, to be honest..." Kagami chuckled. "Her breasts ARE pretty awesome." Kagami said.
"I know, right?" Konata asked. "Are they bigger than Miyuki's?" Konata asked. Kagami shrugged.
"Dunno, I don't ogle Miyuki as much as you do." Kagami said.
"I don't think anyone does..." Konata giggled.
"Does that mean I'm not enough woman for you Kona?" Kagami asked.
"Not that you're not enough woman! You're so much woman, you're continued on the next woman!" Konata said. "Your personality is enough that no one body can contain it!" Konata said. Kagami folded her arms.
"I don't know if I should take it as a compliment that you want to look at other women because I'm too much." Kagami said.
"And your breasts are fantastic!" Konata said.
"Thank you." Kagami smiled. The waitress came back. She handed Konata a plate of chicken breasts and Kagami two things. Her refilled drink and a large sundae. Kagami looked at the sundae, then to Konata, who looked just as confused as Kagami, and then to the waitress. "We didn't order this." Kagami said. The waitress giggled.
"No, it's on the house. For being such a good sport." The waitress winked. Kagami huffed and smiled.
"Well hell, if it gets me more dessert, feel free to flirt with my Kona all you want!" Kagami said.
"Gah! Is that all I'm worth to you Kagamin? A free sundae?" Konata asked. The waitress giggled. "That's so cold, Kagamin!" Konata complained.
"Good, it'll keep my sundae from melting." Kagami said.
"Hmph..." Konata pouted cutely.
"As long as you remember she's MY Kona." Kagami said, though the deathly seriousness of her statement was put off by the mouthful of ice cream in her cheeks.
"I'll keep that in mind." The waitress said. "So anything else for the cutie pie?" She asked, winking at Konata.
"I'll take your tea." Konata said.
"Refill?" The waitress asked.
"No, your shirt." Konata giggled. The waitress laughed.
"Sorry cutie, I'd get fired." The waitress said.
"Then I'll just take a refill." Konata said.
"Sure thing! I'll be back." The waitress said. She left, chuckling under her breath as she walked. Konata smiled and looked at her girlfriend. Kagami was staring at her.
"..." Kagami stared.
"..." Konata stared back.
"... Fine." Kagami sighed. "When we get home, I'll take my shirt off." Kagami smiled.
"Yay~!" Konata cheered.
With the Younger Twin
"Kan-kun, how was dinner?" Tsukasa asked.
"You made it, Tsukasa, of course it was amazing." Tony said. "Thank you again." Tony smiled.
"My pleasure!" Tsukasa said.
"Can I cook tomorrow?" Tony asked Tsukasa looked surprised, kicking her head to the side.
"You... WANT to cook?" She asked.
"Well, I hate to feed you something that tastes bad, but it seems every time we hang out, you end up cooking. I love your cooking, but I feel bad making you cook, like, ALL the time." Tony said.
"I enjoy it!" Tsukasa said.
"I know, but I still feel bad. If you do something, even something you like, practically non-stop, you'll get tired of it." Tony said. "I want to do something for you, Tsukasa. It feels like you're taking care of me a lot more." Tony said. Tsukasa smiled to her boyfriend.
"I'm sure whatever you make will be awesome." Tsukasa said. Tony chuckled.
"I can only hope for edible." Tony said. Tsukasa sighed happily. The two of them sat in silence for a moment. "Hey Tsukasa, do you like video games?" Tony asked, realizing he basically knew that Tsukasa liked Disney. He had no idea what kind of video games she liked, or if she even did.
"Um... I like party games!" Tsukasa said. Tony smiled and got up. He walked to the stand the television was on and opened the drawer. He pulled out a Mario Party game.
"Like this?" Tony asked. Tsukasa's face lit up.
"Yeah! You even have one of the newer ones!" Tsukasa said cheerfully. Tony smiled and put the disk in.
"Alright, are you ready to lose?" Tony asked as he grabbed two controllers, one for each of them.
"Be careful who you brag to, I'll have you know I'm pretty good at these!" Tsukasa giggled as she grabbed a controller from Tony. The two of them sat on the couch and began choosing characters for the coming battle.
In the Restaurant
"So Kona." Kagami said, her serious tone calling Konata to attention. Konata hummed.
"Yes Kagamin?" Konata asked.
"I have a serious question here. It's been on my mind for a while, but I've never really had the opportunity to ask." Kagami said. Konata's head tilted as she listened. "With all of the fighting, the adventures, the questions... I didn't think I should load this on there too, but since we have a moment..." Kagami said.
"Don't worry about it Kagamin, just say what you want!" Konata said. Kagami sighed.
"Kona, how are you going to support me?" Kagami asked. Konata blinked a few times.
"... Support you?" She asked.
"Yeah. Do you have any future career goals in mind?" Kagami asked. "Are you planning on being the housewife or am I going to be the one who stays at home and tends everything?" Kagami asked. Konata blinked.
"Well... I thought that'd be obvious." Konata said. "I would think that I'd be the one who would stay at home. I'm better at house work than you are." Konata said.
"H-Hey! You have to admit, I've been improving!" Kagami said. "And if it happens that I couldn't find a job, do you have a plan?" Kagami asked. Konata smiled.
"Why wouldn't you be able to find a job?" Konata asked.
"Well... Geez, what are you making me say...?" Kagami mumbled as she blushed. "What would happen... if I were to get pregnant...?" Kagami asked. Konata stopped. The restaurant stopped. Unbeknownst to them, both Tony and Tsukasa stopped mid-game.
"... You... know we're both girls, right?" Konata asked, sounding surprisingly disheartened.
"With the way modern medicine is progressing though, you don't know it couldn't happen!" Kagami said. "Besides... even if something like that weren't possible, I bet Tony could do some trickety trick with magic that would make it possible! We won't know until we ask, you know?" Kagami said, more as statement of hope. Konata giggled.
"Kagami, do you realize what you're saying?" Konata asked. Kagami closed her mouth and thought. "This is probably our second date, but that sounded a LOT like a proposal to me." Konata smiled. Kagami blinked as it sank in. "What, you want my baby Kagamin?" Kagami blushed.
"Ah... awawa..." She began mumbling. "K-K-Kona..." She mumbled. "I-I-I was just thinking out loud!" Kagami shouted. Konata giggled.
Guess she's still a type A at heart. Konata smiled.
"B-B-But Kona..." Kagami mumbled, her voice lowering to a near whisper.
"Hm? Kagamin?" Konata hummed.
"That offer... If it ever becomes possible that... that you and I can have a baby... Will you consider it?" Kagami blushed, looking adamantly away from the table. Konata blushed profusely at how honest Kagami's question was.
"A... A baby... huh?" Konata asked. "So... if we can find a way that the two of us can have a baby, you want to have mine, huh?" Konata asked. Kagami balled her fist up.
"..." She looked back over and stared Konata in the eyes. "... It might be far off! And... I don't know if we're even remotely ready for a baby or anything, but yes! If we can, then maybe some day..." Kagami said. Konata giggled.
"Well, until I have some way to support you and our unborn child, I would rather hold off on having a baby." Konata said. "Kagami, I love you." Konata said. Kagami somehow blushed even worse than she already was. "That will never change. If some how, Kan-kan can work some magic something, I will gladly have a baby with you." Konata said. Kagami put her head to the table as if to hide it from view.
"... Idiot..." Kagami mumbled. Konata giggled again.
"Why am I an idiot?" Konata asked.
"I don't know! It just seemed like the thing to say..." Kagami said. "Kona... I plan to support you, but if it turns out that I can't, I just wanted to throw out there that you think of something." Kagami said.
"Don't worry Kagamin. If something happens to where you get pregnant, I'll either get a job or win a tournament, or something! I'll work something out, Kagamin." Konata said. "I love you." Konata said. Kagami giggled a bit and looked up at her little girlfriend.
"I love you too." Kagami said.
The Battle Between Luigi and Daisy Continues!
"Ha! I won that match!" Tony laughed.
"You unplugged my controller, meanie!" Tsukasa complained as she plugged it back in.
"How else am I supposed to win against you?" Tony asked. "You have way more stars than I do!" Tony laughed.
"And it was even for a bunch of stars, too..." Tsukasa mumbled.
"How are you so good at these games?" Tony asked.
"Well, whenever I wanted to play a video game, so would my older sisters! So the only way we could really all play together was if we played one of these party games! So these were usually all I got to play unless it was just me and Onee-chan." Tsukasa said. "But that means that I got really good!" Tsukasa beamed with pride. Tony chuckled.
"Well, let's go to the next match! Now that I have some stars to lose, I bet I can make a comeback!" Tony said.
"Hang on, I'm gonna get a drink. You want anything?" Tsukasa asked.
"I'll take a soda, whatever you grab." Tony said. Tsukasa smiled as she walked into the kitchen. Tony sighed contently.
"We don't have any soda!" Tsukasa said.
"Do we have juice?" Tony asked.
"Yeah, what would you like?" Tsukasa asked.
"Whatever." Tony called back.
"Okay!" Tsukasa said. She came back in with a couple of cups of juice. "Here you go Kan-kun!" She said cheerfully.
"Thanks, Tsukasa." Tony said. He smiled. "Ready for the next match?" Tony asked. Tsukasa nodded fervently.
"I'm gonna get you so bad, I'll need to heal you after it!" Tsukasa said. She was okay with losing those stars, since the next space had a star in it.
"HAHA! Twister!" Tony shouted, effectively moving the star beyond her reach.
"How could you be so cruel?" Tsukasa asked.
"I am cruelty INCARNATE!" Tony laughed as it was decided this one was for six stars in the game. As it began, he flared his powers to exercise his amazing abilities to lightly pull on Tsukasa's cord. Effectively rendered incapable of playing for a moment, Tsukasa wailed at the sheer cruelty of her boyfriend. And so their night continued.
The Odd Couple!
Konata and Kagami sighed as they laid back in the booth. The waitress came over.
"You two doing okay?" She asked. The both of them groaned at their stuffed bellies, causing the waitress to giggle. "Does the girlfriend need another dessert?" She asked. Kagami waved her hand, though her actions were slowed by how full she was.
"Nah... Three sundaes and some takoyaki was way more than enough..." Kagami groaned.
"And any more chicken for the cutie?" She asked.
"The only breasts I ever want to see again are yours and Kagamin's." Konata said.
"Because I'm so full, I'm gonna ignore that you put her breasts above mine, Kona." Kagami said.
"Hers are bigger." Konata said.
"Yeah, they are." Kagami said.
"Can I get you two anything else?" The waitress asked.
"Just the check, please." Kagami said. The waitress bowed before leaving, giggling at the two girls as she left. "Kona, you need to be less cute." Kagami demanded, breathing out due to her stomach.
"How do I do that?" Konata asked.
"I don't know, but it has other girls flirting with you and I'm not always going to get free dessert out of it." Kagami said.
"So all I need to do to flirt with other girls is to buy you dessert?" Konata giggled.
"Do you want to flirt with other girls?" Kagami asked. Konata waited a moment, gulping.
"Um... I'm gonna go with no?" She said. "Don't worry Kagamin, I'm only ever serious with you." She said.
"That's better." Kagami smiled. The waitress came back with the check.
"I assumed you were paying together?" She asked. Kagami nodded.
"Over here." She put her hand up. The waitress handed her the check, which Kagami pulled out the money for. She put it in the check, which had come up on an even number.
"Wow, exact change. Nice." The waitress commented on idly.
"An even number, never gonna see that happen again." Konata made a joke, which the waitress laughed at as if she hadn't heard it a thousand times.
"Well, you two have a great day! Hope to see you two again real soon!" The waitress said cheerfully. Konata and Kagami groaned as they stood and left. They walked down the street for a way before Kagami cursed.
"Damn it!" She shouted, startling Konata.
"What?" Konata asked.
"That's what I should have done!" Kagami looked angrily at the ground, though she seemed more disappointed in herself.
"What, what happened?" Konata asked.
"I wonder if it's too late?" Kagami wondered.
"Kagamin, what's going on?" Konata asked, a bit panicked.
"I should have gotten a dessert to go. Then I could have had an already scooped bowl of ice cream later." Kagami said. Konata giggled.
"Are you sure you don't want me to be cute when we go back there?" Konata asked.
"Only enough to feed me." Kagami said. Konata laughed.
"You got it." Konata said. The two walked in peace for a moment longer. "So what do you think Hachiman wanted to talk about?" Konata asked.
"I dunno. Probably something about your powers or assassins or some other weird thing." Kagami said. "He can wait until tomorrow." Kagami said. Konata hummed as she seemed to remember something.
"Oh, hey Kagamin, wanna see something cool?" Konata asked.
"Yeah, sure Kona." Kagami said. Konata put her hands together.
"Come forth!" She called. Suddenly, the blade Fujin had given to her appeared. However, the second she touched the blade, it disappeared from sight.
"Whoa. Cool." Kagami said. "When did you learn to do that?" Kagami asked.
"Fujin came and gave it to me. He also told me how to use that Wind Giga thing." Konata said as she swung the sword a couple times, though seeing as how it was invisible, it looked much less impressive than it felt.
"Ah. I was wondering where you had learn that, but I was a little more concerned about the gaping hole in Tony's chest. When did he do that?" Kagami asked.
"He slowed everything down right before I blasted Tsukuyomi in the FACE!" Konata said.
"Ah, that's cool." Kagami said. "So... How do you get rid of it now that you have it with you?" Kagami asked. Konata paused for a moment. She went over her entire meeting with Fujin in her head.
Uh... Sylph? Konata addressed the spirit that resided in her soul.
"I dunno, Konata, I never paid attention to that!" Sylph said.
Can you ask the wind or something? Konata asked. Suddenly, the wind picked up around them a bit.
"... The wind doesn't know either." Sylph said.
Of course it doesn't... Konata thought. "I have no idea!" Konata said, though the way she said it was as if she were proud of the fact. Kagami chuckled.
"Well, we're going home. Just leave it there and summon it when you need it I guess. If you ever need it, I'm sure Tony will be there and he can magic it back or something." Kagami said.
"Right!" Konata said. "That's good thinking, Kagamin." Konata said. Kagami beamed with pride.
"That's what I do, Kona! I think good!" She chuckled. The two arrived home and walked in. "Hey~, we're home~!" Kagami chimed.
"Welcome home, Kagami." Miki smiled as she passed by the door with a basket of laundry. She smiled a bit wider at the Otaku. "Welcome home, Konata." She said. Her eyes flickered to Konata's hand as her expression faltered, by she otherwise smiled and continued to finish the laundry.
"Glad to be home!" Konata said. The two walked into the living room to see Matsuri and Inori watching a movie together. Matsuri sat in front of Inori, laid on her back with her head on Inori's lap while the older of the two stroked the younger's hair.
"Having fun?" Kagami asked as the two jumped.
"Wah! Well, yeah!" Matsuri said as she got up.
"It was more fun a minute ago..." Inori commented. Matsuri smiled and laid back in Inori's lap.
"You guys should try this, it's so comfortable." Matsuri said. Konata looked up at Kagami hopefully, the younger of the two sighing with a smile.
"Alright, alright, let's do it." Kagami said. Konata cheered and began taking her shirt off. "NOT THAT! The lap pillow!" Kagami shouted. Konata giggled as she put her shirt back on.
"Not so loud, we're watching the movie." Matsuri said.
"You say that, but Inori isn't even looking at the T.V." Kagami chuckled. Matsuri looked up to see Inori gazing at her. The younger sister blushed.
"I like looking at you more than the T.V." Inori said bluntly.
"That's..." Matsuri mumbled.
"So, the older sister is the pervier..." Konata observed.
"I dunno, that's kinda pure, the whole "Wanna look at you" thing." Kagami said.
"No, she's a pervert. You should see the porn she keeps on her computer." Matsuri said matter-of-factly. Everyone in the room that wasn't Matsuri blushed.
"M-Matsuri, you shouldn't tell people that!" Inori said.
"Why not, Onee-sama~." Matsuri chimed.
"It's embarrassing!" Inori protested.
"You're missing the movie again." Kagami commented.
"But you're so funny when you're embarrassed!" Matsuri laughed.
"Is it funny when I do THIS?" Inori shouted as she shoved Matsuri off her lap.
"Wah! My pillow!" Matsuri said as she barely stopped herself from hitting the ground. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry Onee-sama! I have wronged you most grievously!" Matsuri bowed several times. Inori crossed her arms.
"Hmph. Just see that it doesn't happen again." Inori said. Matsuri bowed again.
"Thank you very much! I will take this lap pillow with the utmost of gratitude!" Matsuri said.
"Huh." Kagami grunted. "I'm surprised, Matsuri. I thought you would say something like 'Hey, that freakin' hurt!' or something when Inori shoved you off." Kagami said as Matsuri laid back down on Inori's lap.
"Hey, you can judge after you've had a lap pillow like this with the one you love." Matsuri said. "Having this taken away must have been an ancient method of torture..." Matsuri said. Inori put her hands on Matsuri again.
"Are you saying I'm ancient?" Inori asked.
"N-No Onee-sama!" Matsuri said.
"That's a good girl." Inori smiled again. A drop of sweat rolled down the back of both Konata and Kagami's head.
"Inori is kinda scary..." Kagami mumbled.
"I kinda wanna try that though." Konata said. Kagami smiled as she sat and patted her lap. Konata laid down on her girlfriend's lap and began watching the movie as Kagami played with her hair. Konata sighed a relaxed sigh. "This is heaven..." Konata sighed.
"I know, right?" Matsuri approved from the other side of the table. Like that, the two couples continued to watch a movie that nobody really paid attention to.
And The Winner IS...
"Yay, I won!" Tsukasa cheered. Tony smiled as he looked at the star count between the two. Daisy had a LOT more than Luigi. He shrugged. He wasn't all that good at video games, and even with all of his cheating, he just couldn't cross that skill gap.
"Of course you realize, this means war." Tony said. Tsukasa puffed her chest out in a rare display of pride.
"I'll play you any time, Kan-kun!" Tsukasa said with pride before yawning. "I'm tired..." Tsukasa said.
"It's been a long freakin' day, I'll tell you that much..." Tony sighed. "Then do you want to head to bed, Tsukasa?" Tony asked. Tsukasa smiled.
"Yeah, I think so..." Tsukasa said with a smile. Then, she thought for a moment before her face flushed red. "Um... I mean... You're not..." She began mumbling incoherently.
"Hm?" Tony's head kicked to the side inquisitively. "Oh." He realized what made her blush. "OH! No no no, I didn't mean to bed TOGETHER, Tsukasa!" Tony said. "Not that I think you're unattractive or anything." Tony began talking a bit too fast. "But I know that you probably don't want to!" Tony said. "At least, not until we're married!" Tony said.
"I understand Kan-kun, it's okay..." Tsukasa seemed conflicted about something.
"You okay, Tsukasa?" Tony asked. Tsukasa nodded.
"Yeah, I'm just gonna go to bed." Tsukasa said.
"Good night, Tsukasa." Tony said as he got up with Tsukasa.
"Good night, Kan-kun." Tsukasa said. The two of them walked down the hall and went into each of their rooms. Tsukasa walked to her bed and sat down, sighing. Until we're married... huh? She thought. She wasn't entirely sure how she felt. She was glad he was considering her feelings, and his promise to Kagami, but, still...
Still...
The Movie has Ended!
"Kona~." Kagami chimed.
"Hm~?" Konata hummed.
"You need to get up." Kagami said.
"Hm." Konata hummed curtly.
"The movie is over." Kagami said. "I'm tired and I want to go to bed. My legs are asleep." She said.
"I was too..." Konata said sleepily.
"Kona, being cute is unfair." Kagami said.
"Let's sleep together Kagamin~..." Konata said, getting up a little bit and hugging her girlfriend. Kagami blushed.
"Sorry Kona, no. You missed that opportunity when I was drunk." Kagami chuckled.
"Please~ Kagamin~, I forgot my Kagamin body pillow at home! I can barely sleep without it!" Konata said. The world stopped. Everything was silent. All that could be heard for a few moments were the snoring coming from Matsuri and Inori.
"... Kona, was that a joke?" Kagami asked.
"No, it totally wasn't!" Konata said, finally getting up. "I cuddle with you every night!" Konata said, throwing her arms up in the air as happiness radiated off of her.
"..." Kagami stared at her. "I don't know how I feel about that." Kagami said.
"I love you so much, I braved taking a picture of you in a provocative pose and paid to have a body pillow made out of it so that I can cuddle with you every single night!" Konata said.
"..." Kagami was silent for a moment. "I can't tell if that's really sweet or really creepy." Kagami said. "Just when did I make a provocative pose?" Kagami asked.
"It isn't a sexy pose, per se, but you look very... you in it!" Konata said.
"That doesn't answer anything." Kagami said. "What do I look like?" Kagami asked. Konata got up and made a pose.
"OBJECTION!" She narrated before sitting back down. "It was like that. You made that pose when you were in class. I bet you didn't even see me get in to your classroom!" Konata said.
"Speaking of which, when are we going back to school?" Kagami asked. Konata hummed.
"I honestly have no idea." Konata said.
"We've been away for a while now, you know?" Kagami asked.
"I don't even know how long it's been." Konata chuckled.
"It's been a while. What are we even still out of school for? Are they deciding what class we're in?" Kagami asked.
"Maybe, I dunno." Konata said.
"I hope I'm in your class." Kagami said.
"I'm indifferent." Konata said.
"What? But why?" Kagami asked.
"Because if we're in the same class, it won't be as easy to cheat off of you." Konata said.
"But we'll have lunch every day!" Kagami said.
"We already do that." Konata said.
"But... Then I'll get to stare at Kona all day long..." Kagami said. Konata smiled.
"But then you won't learn anything and I can't copy off of you." Konata said.
"Is that all you think about, Kona?" Kagami asked.
"Not ALL I think about." Konata chimed. "Sleep with m-"
"No." Kagami said. She sighed and stood. "Kona, I'm gonna go to bed." Kagami said. Konata stood up and walked over to the other couple in the room.
"What do we do with these two?" Konata asked.
"Leave them." Kagami said. "They'll wake up on their own. They'll only get cranky if we wake them up." Kagami said.
"Alrighty. Well, I guess I'll head to bed too then." Konata said.
"I'll see you in the morning Kona." Kagami said as she waved, walking down the hall.
"See ya in the morning, Kagamin!" Konata said. She walked down to her room and opened the door. She went to the bed and sat down. "Hey Sylph, can we talk?" Konata asked the air. Suddenly, Sylph came out of her.
"Hey Konata~!" Sylph said cheerfully. "Is that pretty twintails your girlfriend?" Sylph asked. Konata chuckled.
"Yeah, she is. Isn't she pretty?" Konata asked.
"Want any help? I'm the world's greatest succubus, so I know how to seduce people!" Sylph said.
"I thought you were some kind of fairy." Konata said.
"I'm not a fairy, I'm a spirit!" Sylph shouted.
"So not a succubus?" Konata smirked. Sylph paused for a moment and sighed.
"... No, not a succubus... but I wanna be! I'm no good at fighting even though the other Spirits are so good at it!" Sylph said.
"Oh, there are other Spirits like you?" Konata asked. She hadn't really given it much thought.
"Yup! There are three other Greater Elemental Spirits all~ around the world!" Sylph said, twirling around as if she herself were the world.
"Are they all fairies like you?" Konata chuckled.
"I'm not a fairy, I'm a spirit!" Sylph protested.
"What's the difference?" Konata asked.
"I just look like this because I can change my form! This is the one I use to conserve energy!" Sylph said.
"Really? You can transform?" Konata asked.
"Yup!" Sylph said proudly.
"Can I see?" Konata asked. Sylph smiled happily.
"Of course! Hang on!" Sylph charged her magic. In a bright ray of light that blinded Konata for a moment, she grew to near the Otaku's height.
"Wow." Konata said.
"See? Told ya I could do it!" Sylph said.
"That's awesome!" Konata said. "How many other forms do you have?" Konata asked, pretty excited about this new development.
"... Just the one." Sylph said.
"... Oh." Konata said. "Well... It's still cool that you can transform!" Konata said.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Sylph asked.
"Well... Mainly, I just wanted to get to know more about you." Konata said.
"Oh~! Awesome, I'm glad you want to know about me!" Sylph said. "The more I like you, the easier it is to give you power too!" Sylph said.
"Oh, is that how it works?" Konata asked.
"I think! Mandy told me something like that the last time we were all together!" Sylph said nostalgically.
... Mandy? Konata wondered. "Who's Mandy?" Konata asked. There came a knock at the door.
"Konata, are you okay in there?" Miki asked. Sylph's head turned wildly to the door.
"Is that...?" Sylph wondered. Suddenly, she shrank again and dashed into Konata's body.
"Yeah, I'm okay! I was just talking!" Konata said.
"I thought I heard someone else in there?" Miki asked.
"I was playing a handheld game!" Konata said. She didn't know why Sylph seemed to not want to be seen, but Konata would humor her.
"Ah, okay. Sorry for prying, just wanted to make sure." Miki said. Konata smiled.
This must be what it's like to have a nosy mom. Konata sighed happily. "It's okay, thanks for checking!" Konata said.
"Good night." Miki said.
"Good night!" Konata said. Sylph remained inside of her, however, so Konata assumed she no longer wanted to talk. Konata stripped and got in the bed under the covers. Using the remote that came with Tsukasa's room, she turned the light off and nodded off to sleep.
Luckier Channel
"Luckier~! Channel~!" Akira shouted. "Hiya Luckies~! I'm your navigator, Akira Kogami~!"
"And I'm the assistant, Minoru Shiraishi!"
"Hey." Akira said. Minoru jumped.
"A-Akira?" Minoru asked.
"You introduced yourself as the navigator last time." Akira said. "I'm the navigator." Akira said.
"Are you really mad about that? It just slipped out." Minoru said.
"Damn right I'm pissed!" Akira shouted. "Was all this just to get me out of my spot as on the show?" Akira asked.
"What? No! I just made a mistake, Akira!" Minoru said. "I swear, I wouldn't even want to DO this show if you weren't here!" Minoru said. He heard Akira sniffle.
"... Are you telling the truth?" Akira asked.
"Absolutely." Minoru said. "I'd rather quit than do this show without you." Minoru said. Akira shook her head.
"... You moron... Saying something smooth like that..." Akira said.
*Music Tone*
"Looks like that's all the time we have for the day! All we had time for was SOMEBODY being an idiot~!" Akira said. "I'll see you all next time! Bye-nii~!" Akira waved.
"..."
"Hey."
"What's up?"
"Were you... being serious?"
"I already told I was."
"... Okay. You're not all that bad."
