"Yeah, which Weiss immediately fell off of. You didn't even use your glyphs! If Jaune hadn't caught you in the air-"

"I would have been fine! Aura, remember?"

"Yeah, but you also would have been unconscious and dead weight. There's only so much Aura can do."

"I wasn't fine," Jaune muttered, drawing collective chuckle from the group. Ruby and Weiss were talking animatedly about their Beacon initiation, the topic having come up when Sun jokingly asked what teams RWBY and JNPR could have possibly done for fun before they met him. Blake sat slightly away from the others, yet was still close enough to interject in the conversation. It had been a week since meeting Yang for the first time in months, and she was feeling slightly better than she had the back then. She still mainly listened to the conversations of her friends, rarely interjecting, but she felt happy to be with them all again. They hadn't gotten together too often, as her and Weiss were usually called away on missions, but the times they shared helped her get by. As expected, the Trenches was a sad environment that always seemed close to death, but with Blake's arrival, all casualties stopped. Her might combined with that of Weiss' proved too much for any Grimm they'd fought so far.

"Not to change the subject, but we never did see you at initiation, Blake. I've always been curious as to why," Ren said after a pause, looking at her.

"You just did change the subject," Weiss pointed out with slight annoyance, but stared at Blake as well. Suddenly, all eyes were on her. She grinned.

"I overslept. I came in late." Pyrrha laughed, Ruby gasped, and everyone else looked completely let down.

"That's it?" Yang sighed.

"Pretty much." Blake cast a look around the room, polite yet defiant.

"Okay, you're lying," Neptune accused, bringing everyone to their senses. Blake had never overslept a day that they'd known her, even when she desperately needed rest. They looked at her with intense curiosity.

"Seriously, what happened?" Ruby asked.

"Did you use ninjustu to become invisible?!" Nora burst out, her eyes glinting with a hint of insanity. Ren sighed much more loudly than everyone else in the room, and Blake smiled slightly.

"I think we've already established that Blake can't actually turn invisible," Ren informed his girlfriend.

"You do realize that she's not actually a ninja, right? She just wears a lot of black," Sun added as he nonchalantly peeled a banana and tossed the peel onto the rug. Weiss shot him a nasty glare, and Nora's eyes fixed on the ceiling as she tried to think of a way around Sun's assertion.

"Don't you dare drop food on my rug," the former heiress snarled darkly.

"Oh, I'm so so sorry!" Sun proclaimed with thick sarcasm, earning himself an even angrier look. Neptune chuckled and picked up the peel, going to throw it away. Weiss smiled at him in thanks, and he nodded.

"All in a day's work," he said.

"Well, if Blake isn't a ninja, how come she reads 'Ninjas of Love'?" Nora asked suddenly, looking proud of herself, as if she'd just made an irrefutable argument. Blake had a very different look on her face. Her smile dissipated as if it had never been there in the first place, and Yang flashed her a coy look.

"Yeah, how come?" The blonde asked.

"...We promised not to discuss this," Blake replied, trying to settle the matter.

"What's wrong? I'm sure anything you enjoy reading would be splendid," Pyrrha said kindly, drawing a warning look from Jaune.

"Uh, Pyrrha? You might want to quit while you're ahead," he said with caution. Blake looked at her, not sure how to respond. The faunus was backed into a corner, and found herself flashing Nora a look of exasperation. Her words had, after all, caused the group's interest in her reading habits. As the conversation continued on, Blake trying to weasel her way out of a truthful explanation, the minutes passing by turned to hours and before anyone knew it, it was time to leave. Bidding their farewells and offering Blake their well-wishes, everyone left Weiss' apartment save for its owner.

As Sun walked away, deep in conversation with Nora and Ren, Blake hurried up to him. She had something to ask. Years ago, back when she was in her first year at Beacon, her and Sun had gone to thwart a string of Dust robberies and find out if the White Fang was behind them. Her and Sun had gone off on many smaller escapades since, and she had learned something very important from them: Sun was as loyal as could be. He would break laws and do whatever it took to help a friend out. She needed someone like him. Unable to investigate very far into the city, she had to ask a favor. She felt bad, having him do work she should do herself, but she was limited. She had no choice, if she was ever going to find Roman.

"Sun, wait! I was wondering if I could ask you something," she called out. The monkey faunus, Ren, and Nora all turned around to face Blake.

"Need a favor?" He asked. Blake smiled sheepishly.

"How did you know?"

"Eh, I just know these things. So, what is it?" He asked. Blake looked at Nora and Ren, debating whether she should let them in on her secret goal. So far, she'd avoided mentioning Roman to anyone, wanting to keep her friends from thinking about him. She had to ensure that there was no suspicion that she'd go looking for him, so when she finally found him, what she would do wouldn't be associated with her. She would do everything in her power to prevent a repeat of what had happened last time. She couldn't ever let such a thing happen again. However, she had been informed by Sun that he, Ren and Nora were crusading for faunus rights in the city. They had started some time ago, and were fairly active. After The Fall and the dismantling of the White Fang, the faunus found themselves treated even worse than before. No one was willing to forget that the White Fang had been allied with Cinder. They had trusted Blake with their secret, to keep it from the others; she felt that she could trust them with hers. Walking up to Sun, Nora, and Ren, she spoke quietly and urgently, her smile fading almost immediately.

"I need your help," she said. Nora looked surprised at her sudden mood shift, as did Sun, but Ren's face remained impassive.

"With what?" He asked.

"I need to find Roman, and I want you to help me. I...I have to take my life back. I can't keep letting him torment me with nightmares. He needs to pay," was the response. The words were personal, but Blake had an eerily emotionless tone in her voice. Ren narrowed his eyes, while Sun and Nora still seemed shocked. Ren wasn't sure whether he wanted to help her; on one hand, they operated outside the law just as much as she did, and Roman had made things very personal with his latest stunt. Yet, Ren didn't fail to forget what happened the last time Blake went after him, and he wasn't eager to make her live through that again.

"You do remember what happened last time, right? You know what Yang did, and I know you felt horrible about it. Can you take that risk again? Can you really go through with that again? More importantly, should you?" Blake was sure that someone was going to ask her, and she had assumed it might be Ren. Nora was too vengeful and Sun was too emotional, but Ren never failed to think about things from the standpoint of a detached observer. He was good at making rational decisions, keeping his emotions from clouding his judgement. Blake, however, had her answer. She'd always had it.

"This is something I need to do. Will you help me, or not?" She asked. Her tone wasn't hurried or accusatory, simply curious. It was clear that she had no wish to ask for help. Sun and Nora, breaking free of their shock, nodded vehemently.

"Of course," Sun said with a confident grin.

"I'll break his legs," Nora asserted, now scowling darkly.

"Then I'll help as well, if you think it best," Ren added, his expression still unreadable. Blake gave her friends a quick smile.

"Thank you, all of you. I didn't want to bring you into this, but I'm limited in my mobility. I need help. And Nora...leave the leg-breaking to me. Just find him; I'll take care of the rest," she said to them, walking off and waving. Sun, Nora, and Ren waved back.

"Think we can start tonight?" Sun asked his friends as Blake exited from view, turning around a corner, accompanied by guards.

"Be careful; you live with Neptune now. He's a detective," Ren warned.

"In training. Relax, I got this," Sun assured, placing his hand on Ren's shoulder nonchalantly.

"If you wanna start tonight, go ahead. I, however, have time set off for snuggling with my cuddle-bunny here!" Nora said happily, moving closer to Ren and rubbing against his arm. Sun mimed vomiting, but the dark-haired man smiled and grabbed his girlfriend's hand.

"I wouldn't miss that for the world. Sun..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on my own tonight. I'll let you two know if anything comes up." He smiled, waved, and ran off. He figured that Junior's bar would be as good a starting place as any.

"Weiss, to the left!" Blake shouted as she cut through a swath of Grimm. Her partner obliged, and Weiss hurtled past her in an almost imperceptible blur of white. A Beowolf approaching Blake on the left fell dead with its body cut in two. She continued to carve her way through the oncoming Grimm, using her Semblance to evade their blows and deal strikes of her own. She flipped over one Beowolf, slashing through its head as she did so, and then used one of her shadow clones to kick off of as two more Beowolves hurtled through the air towards her. She flew above them and as they collided with each other, used another clone to push herself back to the ground and swiped the blade and sheathe of Gambol Shroud to cut through the two Grimm before they could fall to the ground. Using her Semblance yet again, she hurtled through a group of five Grimm and cut through them all, their heads flying into the air as their bodies turned to black dust. Around her and Weiss, the other members of the Trenches picked off stragglers. A group of King Taijitu were being fended off by bullets as Lilac caved in the head of a straggler with a powerful punch. A slew of Grimm fell as they were stabbed, crushed, and pierced by various melee weaponry from a small group of warriors. It had been like this for three weeks, ever since Blake joined the Trenches. Choosing not to disclose the reason for her relocation, she kept her distance from everyone and, save for Lilac, had no acquaintances amongst the group. Her arrival, however, marked a change. With her and Weiss' powers combined, no one died. The Grimm they were sent to kill, no matter how dangerous, were no match for two Heroes of Remnant. There were quite a few of them, and more than they expected always seemed to show up for missions, but it was no matter. Everyone did their jobs well, the arrival of another powerful Huntress giving the group an increase in confidence. It wasn't long before all the Grimm in the area were eradicated, and the group moved onto the next batch.

Weiss and Blake waved goodbye to their allies in the Trenches as they walked out of the docking area and left for their separate apartments. The two women were practically never apart, both on missions and in their social lives as they lived in the same area, but Blake had something to take care of today. She had arranged to part ways with the former heiress upon reaching Vale again. They were to meet later in the day for a dinner with the rest of their circle of friends. The past week, they had been unable; both were glad to have a chance to rest and enjoy an evening with everyone. Now, however, Blake had other concerns. She had gotten a call from Sun, two days ago, in which he informed her that he had information on Roman. He suggested that she have him, Ren, and Nora come over to her new apartment; after all, they were all going to meet again later in the evening, at Ruby and Yang's house. It would be more convenient for them. Blake made her way to the area of the Trenches opposite Weiss', where those unable to afford nicer living accommodations were placed. A few guards who had been standing outside of the docking bay came over to her to escort her to her apartment, and Weiss received the same treatment. They were, due to their power, more heavily-guarded. Outside of the large, gray, crumbling building where the operations of the Trenches were based, a seemingly endless row of apartments stretched out on either side. On the left were the nicer places; the right was inhabited by small, cramped, and only barely functional apartments. Blake and her guards walked down a cracked sidewalk, next to a wide, long street that was devoid of any cars. Around the area, a large, electric fence ensured that members of the Trenches went nowhere after their allotted curfew, eleven o'clock. Various lamp-like cartridges of lightning Dust were placed on top of each fencepost, and were surrounded by tangled barbed wire. It took three minutes for Blake and her guards to walk past the depressing area to get to her apartment complex, a place just as gloomy. Blake entered her apartment, a one bedroom, one kitchen, one bathroom place that eternally had a lingering smell of urine. She didn't care. Walking through the thin hall, across the creaking, dusty wooden floor and past the single object residing within it, a dirty mirror with a black frame, she made her way to the kitchen. She sat in the only chair in the room, next to the only table. She grimaced as she looked around; ten people could easily take up all the space in the area. She looked at the cracked, tiled floor, the nearly empty cupboards lining the walls, and the sink and oven that stood side-by-side at the opposite end of the room. The table being near the wall, she was able to turn on a nearby light switch and a small bulb overhead flickered with light. There, she picked up a nearby book and waited.

Ren sat in his green car, unusually inhabiting the backseat. Sun was driving, going at a speed Nora found acceptable but that her taciturn boyfriend disapproved of. They were going to Blake's apartment, a place they had never been before, to give her information that they had uncovered on the whereabouts of Roman. Sun had been contacted by Junior, who he had spoken to some time ago, and he gave the faunus a piece of information that had been very helpful. Ren and Nora investigated, and discovered that Roman was hiding out in a small warehouse on the south side of Vale, a few miles past the boundaries of the Trenches collars' radar. The three would focus on finding Blake a way to bypass the collar later.

"Nora...how do you feel about this?" Ren asked suddenly. Nora looked at him, her expression cheery yet confused. Sun, who was blaring music through the car, heard nothing. In fact, Nora barely heard; Ren had to speak louder than usual to be audible.

"Huh?"

"About Blake. About helping her with finding Roman." Nora took a second to think before giving her answer, her usual cheer slightly subdued.

"He hurt her. She deserves this. I'm the girl who offered to break Cardin's legs, remember? If you push someone, they're gonna push back, and there's nothing wrong with that. Roman deserves a push for what he did. I believe that people should get exactly what they deserve, even if the law can't give it to them. You know me; you totally knew I was gonna say all this." Ren smiled at Nora, knowing she was right. He knew her well, better than anyone else. He knew about her powerful, sometimes violent sense of justice. Nora tolerated nothing and no one; at least, not when her friends were concerned. When Yang was struggling with alcohol, Ren had, to his current regret, stopped her from going to Ruby. She had even tried to confront Yang directly. She never hesitated to jump into a fight, to hurt people who hurt others. Ren certainly remembered her desire to break the legs of Cardin Winchester, leader of team CRDL and bully at Beacon who specifically targeted the faunus and Jaune. Nora had, on multiple occasions, intentionally gone all-out in training matches against known bullies in her school years. Even Weiss had been subject to such treatment on rare occasions. Nora was forceful, both in her determination to deliver justice and her manner of enacting it. Ren, however, was much less aggressive.

"...I'm mostly worried about Blake. She's doing the exact same thing that got her in prison. If we have a hand in helping her destroy everything she's been able to gain, I...I couldn't forgive myself," he said solemnly. Nora's expression completely lost its smile at this comment, and her eyes seemed to grow dim. She had thought of this on a few occasions, and the thought scared her.

"Me too, but this is her decision, and I think it's the right one. Besides, she has us this time. We can help her."

"Yes. We can help her commit murder. She certainly won't let Roman live after what he did; I'm sure that when she finds him, she'll end his life."

"Maybe he deserves it." When she said this, Nora's tone took on an uncharacteristic amount of fury. Her eyes didn't leave Ren's for a second, yet his gaze matched hers. He knew of her conviction, but hadn't expected such an intense response. He, unlike his girlfriend, had never been apt to use an excess of force to solve problems. In fact, for most of his life, he'd been reluctant to involve himself in the problems of others entirely. He had always been a passive man, delegating authority to others and allowing Nora to run rampant with her energy and drive. He simply went with the flow, both due to his inner calm and private nature. He was also quite taciturn, and kept to himself. He rarely bothered others with his issues, only when it was important, such as when he had asked Jaune to sign team JNPR up for a mission at his hometown. This was one such occasion. He was truly worried, worried what might happen to Blake should they fail, as well as what might happen should she succeed. He didn't want to think of her as a killer, but he was feeling that she seemed a little too eager to embrace such a role.

"But does Blake? She left the White Fang because of their willingness to use deadly force, and she's becoming the same way. Maybe we should ask her to reconsider," he contemplated. Nora's anger lessened. She could see that Ren spoke out of his care for their friend, but she had to disagree with him.

"The White Fang crossed a line and I don't support what they did, but their methods were working, at least, and they were for a good cause. Besides, Blake's situation now is different from that. It's personal. You can tell her what you think, but she won't listen. I'm sorry, but this is what we're doing now." Nora placed her hand on Ren's, trying to comfort him. He looked at her, his free hand clasping hers, and sighed.

"What if it turns out like with Yang, where we should have said something but stayed passive? What then?" He asked, not comforted at all.

"It's not. We've been doing the same thing she's going to do for a while now. Well, maybe not the killing part, but still. If she kills Roman, it'll be big. He has a lot of influence; things will be a lot different with him gone. Besides...Yang wasn't held against her will, beaten, and almost raped. Roman might not have been the perpetrator, but everything else was his doing. He's the one who needs to pay." Ren nodded reluctantly, still determined to ask Blake one more time if she was sure she wanted to go through with her plan.

"Knock knock, Blake," Sun said as he rapped his fist against the door to his friend's apartment. Ren and Nora stood behind him, wearing neutral expressions. Almost immediately after he knocked, the door swung open and Blake ushered everyone in as greetings were exchanged. They all looked around, alarmed.

"Uh...this place kind of sucks. Are you okay living here?" Sun asked, frowning at the walls.

"It's a place to eat and rest, and that's all I'm looking for. I'm sorry about not having too much room, though. It's not exactly spacious," was the reply.

"Don't worry about it," Ren told Blake nonchalantly. She led them through the hall and into the kitchen, sighing.

"Only one person can sit down. Again, sorry for the lack of...pretty much everything," Blake said. In truth, she cared little about hospitality, but felt a somewhat bad for having her friends come over to stand and be cramped. No one seemed interested in sitting down, and Sun spoke.

"I'm guessing that you wanna hear the news now?"

"Go on."

"Alright. Junior told me that Roman's trying to leave Vale; he's been at it for a few weeks. He hired Melanie and Miltia. You know, those two bitchy girls Junior has with him all the time. He's also been sending a lot of Dust to other areas in Vytal, hoping to form some kind of connection with criminals out of Vale so he has somewhere to go. That, and he's been giving more support to anti-faunus groups than usual," Sun spoke the last sentence with a bitter fury in his tone, and his eyes narrowed. Ren and Nora reacted similarly. Nora began to absentmindedly pound her left palm with her right fist as her Aura flared up unconsciously.

"He's tried covering his tracks, but Miltia let slip recently that he's at a small warehouse on the south side of Vale. It's one of the few buildings in the area that still has the Schnee Dust Company emblem on it, so it shouldn't be hard to find. We need to move pretty quickly; it sounds like Roman's trying hard to make connections and get himself out of the city. Of course, the only way we can do that is if you get that collar off somehow...are you sure you don't want us to handle this for you?" Sun asked, looking concerned. Blake shook her head, her skin strangely pale. It was hard to tell from her stiff and emotionless expression whether she was excited or scared.

"I'll handle this myself. I just need a way to disable the collar. I'll do some research. In the meantime, I need one of you to scout out the place, see what's there," she said.

"You're being monitored; we'll take care of both things. We can't let there be any suspicion that you've got plans to go after Roman," Nora reminded her. She looked slightly put-off, but nodded.

"Thank you. I promise, after this, I won't ask you to do anything like this again," she told everyone. She sounded sincere, and Nora gave her a small smile.

"Hey, this is exciting! I'd totally be down with doing secret missions in the future," the pink-haired woman assured her. Beside her, Ren stirred, figuring that now was as good a time as any to say what was on his mind. He'd give it one last shot; he'd do something about the situation. On one hand, he supported Blake's actions. They would benefit the faunus, and after what Roman had orchestrated, it was hard to say that they weren't justified. However, on the other hand, he had a lot of anxiety about it. On top of his fears of failure and of Blake going down a dark road, he had no way to confirm that Roman was actually behind her attack. He was sure that the crime boss was; he was the only enemy of Blake's still alive and free, and he had means, motive, and opportunity. Ren still, despite all the facts that pointed to him, felt a pang of horror when he considered that Roman might be innocent.

"Blake...I need to ask you one last time if you want to do this. If you fail, things could end up like they did last time. Are you really certain you want to do the exact same thing that got you arrested in the first place?" The cat faunus shot Ren a dark, determined look, but one that was devoid of anger.

"I'm going through with this."

"What if Roman didn't do it?"

"He did. We all know that; he's the only person who could have and would have."

"I remember the last time we let a friend do something on her own, without any kind of interference. You know what Yang did, too. We might be making a similar mistake."

"I'm not Yang. Our situations are different."

"Isn't this kind of behavior why you left the White Fang?"

"The White Fang devolved into a terrorist organization, but started as a group of people pushing back against a society that tried to oppress them. That aside, they worked with Roman. I don't."

"And what if we fail? What then?" Blake, trying to stay calm and understanding, found herself growing slightly bothered by Ren's questions. It had been weeks; he should have made his peace with what was going on.

"I'm sure you can guess. Ren...if you had these concerns, why mention them to me now? You could have told me much earlier," she asked. Ren bit his lip, looking regretful.

"I had to think about whether I even wanted to ask you at all."

"So you're not even certain whether your points are valid."

"I'm just getting flashbacks to many months ago, when you did this the last time."

"That was then, this is now. Ren...thank you for helping me this far. I promise that nothing will go wrong; I'll do exactly what I set out to." With that, the topic dropped, and the taciturn man sighed. He supposed Blake was right; she had help this time. But something within him still tugged at his conscience, telling him that something wasn't right. He couldn't place his finger on it. He had been unable to for weeks. He supposed it could be paranoia, and yet the doubts still echoed in his mind.

"So...Nora. You seem chipper today. Nothing new there. But...I notice that you and Ren are getting awfully handsy," Yang noted mischievously, and everyone save for Jaune knew exactly where she was going with her seemingly innocent comment. It marked the first time in a while since she made a comment referring to sex; she'd avoided such a subject for fear of making Blake uncomfortable, considering what happened to her. Only after Blake seemed back to her old self did the blonde embrace her typical sense of humor. Her, the rest of team RWBY, team JNPR, Sun and Neptune all sat around the table, their plates cleared.

"Well, they are kind of together-together. Why wouldn't they hold hands?" the unassuming blonde said, using the term Nora was quite fond of as he lay his hand on Pyrrha's to prove his point. She chuckled, and he looked at her with confusion. Even Ren and Blake had to smile at his lack of understanding of what Yang had implied. Ruby found herself growing increasingly awkward as the conversation continued.

"Anyone want dessert?" She asked in desperation to change the subject.

"Already had it," Sun replied lazily, and she frowned. Weiss did as well.

"Do we really need to discuss this at the dinner table?" She asked with annoyance.

"Intercourse is a natural part of life for humans and many other species. There's nothing indecent about it," Pyrrha responded cheerfully, earning herself an angry glare. Neptune laughed, Jaune looked alarmed, and Ruby sank lower into her chair.

"Wait, what? Who said anything about that?!" Jaune asked in surprise.

"Yang did," Neptune replied.

"When?"

"Oh, Jaune. You're even worse than Ruby. Isn't it obvious? They totally had-" Yang was hastily cut off.

"Why must you insist on bringing such affairs into casual conversation?! What occurs between two romantically involved adults should remain between them!" Weiss interrupted, drawing another laugh from Neptune.

"Weiss is really big on that. I should know," he added, earning not only a look of rage, but of mortification from the former heiress as she turned scarlet. This time, it was Yang who laughed, and she doubled over and clutched her stomach. The people nearest to her, Jaune and Ruby, had to cover their ears.

"Neptune! How dare you!"

"We're friends, Weiss! We can talk about all kinds of stuff! And yeah, me and Ren may have had a little fun last night, but so what? We can do whatever we want!" Nora exclaimed, clapping Weiss on the back and causing her to almost fall into her plate. Blake caught her at the last second, pulling her up.

"Thank you," she sighed.

"Nora's right, Weiss. You're not a nun," the cat faunus replied coyly. The former heiress turned red and frowned at her friend.

"Hey, at least she knew what was going on. Jaune here had to have it spelled out for him," Yang said loudly, and Pyrrha looked a little defensive, immediately speaking on her boyfriend's behalf.

"Jaune's very sexually experienced." Judging from the look on Jaune's face, she began to wish that she hadn't spoken at all.

"I'm sorry," she sighed, in her usual apologetic tone that accompanied the two words. Ruby's face was now the exact shade of her hair.

"Uh...anyone want more dessert?" She asked softly, wholly out of her element.

"Ooh! Me!" Nora shouted, and no one could be sure if she felt sympathy for the younger woman and Jaune, or if she was truly hungry.

"Well..." Ruby had forgotten that all the food her and Yang had prepared was gone, and now she was reminded of that fact unpleasantly.

"I'll make something," Ren chimed in, getting up and looking at Ruby with a smile on his face. She beamed back at him. The conversation continued onto another topic, mostly spearheaded by the younger woman in an attempt to get back at her sister for the embarrassment she caused, knowing all the while that Yang wasn't easily embarrassed. The incident at the prison, to Blake, seemed a distant memory these days. Vivid, but distant.

Chapter 19 is under wraps! I really, really want to get through this story because I'm afraid of forgetting all the ideas I've had recently, so I'm just cranking out chapter after chapter. I've written these last two chapters in succession, and I'm hoping to start on a third. Life, at the moment, isn't too busy. Besides, if I just set off an hour or two of my day, things turn out alright. If I really need to do anything, I just stay up super late. Yeah, I really need to rethink my sleep schedule.

So, a lot happened. Ren and Nora got character development; I'm eager to know what people have to say about that. Writing this has made me really want to write a story about Nora now. I did a lot of improvising for her personality and motivations this chapter, but all of it was based on things I'd seen in the show. I kind of want to write her like this again; it feels so right! I doubt her wanting to break Cardin's legs was just for comedic purposes, anyway. I'm sure that it says something about her as a person. Then, I made a joke about her and Ren having sex. Yay, sex jokes! And of course, Yang spearheaded that topic. If RWBY was a more mature show, I can totally see Yang making comments like that. She's not Tucker from RvB, but she's certainly fun and flirty. And then I made two more jokes, one about Weiss and Neptune, the other about Jaune and Pyrrha. I think I need to write a story with a gay ship sometime soon.

Also, I'm sorry for making Weiss the butt of all jokes yet again. I really need to find a better way to spur conversation between the characters, but she's uptight and has bitchy tendencies, so it's easy to poke fun at her. Plus, I'm biased towards her and want to include her in the story whenever I can. I wonder how many other people on this site have trouble not making their favorite characters the center of attention all the time?

Anyway, reviews/criticisms are welcome, seriously. I totally understand if this story isn't worth your time and effort to leave feedback for, but I'd really like to improve as a writer and I think feedback from others would be a great way for that to happen. If something bothers you about the story/the characters/my writing, tell me. I might be a little sad at first, but I'll get over it. I've gotten some great feedback before, and I'd appreciate more. I don't want to force anyone, as real life endeavors are more important than reading fanfiction and I'm sure a lot of people have their own stories to focus on, but if you do find that this story is worth your time and you have time on your hands, feel free to tell me exactly what you think!

I don't know why I wrote all that, but I've been wishing that I got more feedback recently, more to think about.
