Hey guys last chapter till the show starts up again!
So the final scene of the episode was pretty intense on screen and i hope i captured it alright from both OC's points of view and i also really hope you all enjoy it and for future reference. Any time the grounders are talking in their language, it will be in italics.

PS: hope you all have a great christmas (or whatever you celebrate!) and a fantastic new years!
Rayne's Point of View
Once Finn had explained where we would all go for watch we went our ways to cover the dropship. Bellamy, Raven and I taking watch over the front gate just to make sure no grounder would brave it and take a direct approach.
"This is insane." Clarke muttered to me softly.
"We will keep him safe, we promised Clarke… as safe as we can."
"That's the plan. All right?" Finn repeated himself as Clarke stared at him unsure of his 'plan'. With Murphy climbing up the ladder, and Bellamy and I already outside the dropship readying ourselves for a fight.
Bellamy and I took the left side of the camp with Raven on the right until that is we saw Clarke join her. I turned my head to face Bellamy, "He's doing it…" I whispered him as he nodded.
"When he does… we have to stop Clarke and Raven from running after them, I don't know how we would explain to Wick and Abby that they died as the grounders took Finn away."
"Other than that being an exact explanation?" I told him arching my brow.
"Oh shut up, you know what I meant." He smirked at me steadying his gun at the front gate.
"Just know if this goes south… I love you."
"And I you."
The silence between the four of us as we watched the grounders just stand their just out of range of our weapons was just eerie. Being able to listen to the sound of the trees as they swayed in the distance, I looked over at Bellamy again as I felt him take my hand in his. We were in this together no matter the cost at the end.
Nova's Point of View
Indra was asked to go meet with the Sky People's leader whom we've come to realize is Clarke's mother. I was asked to go join her to listen in on the conversation with them however when a scout had told us they had seen the boy in the woods I couldn't help myself.
I had had a run in with two of the sky people, Bellamy and Rayne. Interesting pair, honestly thought they where a mated couple the moment I saw them. The second the girl had mentioned John I knew I had to stay behind and make sure to keep him safe. Being up on the top of the hills a large group of my people lay in wait to see what they do.
"I was told the boy Finn will give himself up, till them we stay out of range and we wait." I called out to them in our own language.
The warriors soon began to take their places in anticipation of the one whom had massacred the entire village. Waiting anxiously for him to get what it was that was coming to him. I knew as did Lexa that Clarke wasn't going to let him slip through her fingers so easily. I suppose we would have to wait and see what she does.
Indra soon approached me from behind placing her hand on my shoulder; "What did I miss?" I asked her.
"Just their leader thinking she could try to reason with me on a personal level. What did I miss?" She asked looking over at the dropship.
"Marcus of the sky people's daughter and her mate promised me, and assured me that Finn will give himself up we just have to wait it out. If he doesn't by sun down the men have been ordered to attack." I told her.
Indra smiled at me, "Good, I'm heading back to the Commander with the news from their leader… I am proud of you Nova, you have become so much since you returned to us… you've grown into someone worthy of the title you've been given." She said as she turned around and walked away.
"She will get her dues eventually." I heard one of the grounders pipe up to me once she was out of earshot. I few other grounders seemed to have nodded in agreement.
"Indra will only die when the Commander allows it, not a day sooner." I told the men.
We had waited for what felt like an eternity, that was until the couple I'd bumped into in the forest made their way out of the tin can they where hiding in and took position aiming their weapons at my people. Soon another girl followed them out taking position on the other bank.
I sat there my head now cocked to the side as I watched them eagerly, "It's almost sun down." One of the men alerted me.
"Than they have that amount of time to give us the boy or we're going in." I told them.
I watched them from a distance as Clarke now took was out of the tin can and taking her spot next to the other girl. What made them think they could win this was beyond me. Where John was, was the only other thing I was thinking about.
I had seen him outside before taking a recon of the area; he was one of the first to notice my men along side the red haired girl. However he wasn't outside now. Had they killed him? Were they really that twisted, that stupid?
"Nova, we have movement." One of my men informed me as we moved our way quietly towards the gate of their little home.
The boy they called Finn made his way out into the opening, I looked over at my men and gave them the signal to grab the boy. "Finn!" Clarke shouted.
"Grab the killer!" One of my men yelled as I made my way towards him as well.
"The Commander wants him alive!" I shouted to the men as they violently grabbed him and began to drag him away from his friends. I stood there in the opening as John had now come out of the tin can he was hiding in. At least I knew he was alive.
I stood there my eyes glued to Clarkes as her friends all joined her at her side, "You would be so wise Clarke to take the peace you had asked for, and go back to your camp. These woods… well they can be very unforgiving…" I told her as I turned away.
"Wait!" John yelled as he ran up to me only for two of my men to hold spears out stopping him.
"He's ok." I told them in our own language, the two guards lowered their spears.
I moved closer to John allowing myself to pull him closer to me in a hug, "You look upset." I said to him softly.
"The raven-haired girl… she was going to offer me up to your people instead of Finn… I came here thinking I was going to gain some sort of redemption with them—" I held my hand up to stop him.
"Just the raven haired girl?" I asked.
"Yea, Rayne and Bellamy want to give me another shot." He explained.
"I don't know why you wont just come with me John, the Commander already told me we would welcome you into our clan." I told him, he looked back at his friends. "Soon enough." Was all he said before walking back to the four behind him.
"Soon enough indeed." I said as the two guards chuckled.
I than looked over at Clarke shaking my head, "I suppose I will see you again sooner than later Clarke." I remarked before my men and I turned around taking off into the woods.
Once back at the camp the men handed Finn over to me as I walked him into the Commander's tent. She sat there studying the boy, as if he was a bug to step on. "Good job Nova." She said to me softly.
"It was the men who brought him back. They deserve the congratulations." I told her.
"And they will get their just reward." She responded to me.
"So you are Finn of the Sky People, the one who massacred that entire village."She asked him as he stood there his head held high, the arrogance of youth.
"I didn't mean to kill them." He defended himself.
"If you meant to or not isn't the question, the fact that you did is what is in question here." She told him, "Blood must have blood, Finn. Yours for theirs, we suspect they will send Clarke here to free you." She said.
I scoffed, "I suspect they will try to assassinate you, or at least mercy kill him." Indra took the words from my mouth.
"Than they can try." She smirked. "If only they were so stupid." I remarked.
Lexa motioned for the men to take Finn away and prepare him for his punishments and execution. "If Clarke comes and kills the boy than that is something she will live with for the rest of her life. Which will be her punishment for allowing Anya to die, and betraying you Nova. Which is good enough for me." She continued. "Now go, get ready for the night." She commanded Indra and I as we left the tent.
"She shouldn't allow that child to kill him, it is our custom to follow the tradition." Indra complained.
"It is, yes… however would it not be fun to watch the girl slowly spiral out into madness knowing she ended the life of her own lover?" I posed the question to Indra.
She smirked, "You're right, that is much better."
Once the sky grew dark Indra and I returned to the Commanders tent where she stood guard near the top of the hill incase any sky people tried to stop the punishment. I however took my place next to the Commander as she and Gustus stood watching as a few grounders began to raise the pole the boy was to be burned against.
"Soon?" I asked her. She chuckled, "So impatient, Nova."
I nodded, "I just want to get to the boy, John… I wont be allowed near him till Finn is dead and the truce is complete. I should warn you there is girl named Raven. She may try to sabotage the peace… she tried to kill John." I explained to her as her back stiffened.
"Than if they try something we know who it was, her or the man Thelonious." Lexa told me with a sharp grin. I nodded in agreement with her, that man did seem likely to so something as stupid as attempt to kill us after gaining our support as allies.
"Look who's opted to join us." Gustus' voice calmly came from behind me.
Lexa and I turned our heads slightly to see what it was he was referring to, obviously Clarke but who knows at this point what those people would try to do to protect a killer of the innocents. I looked over and saw Indra lower her spear so that it was level with Clarke's stomach.
Of course Clarke would be the one they send down to make some sort of offering to the Commander last minuet. It was like they actually thought the girl was the reason behind any of the decisions that were being made. Like they actually thought they where the ones in charge which was laughable.
"I'm here to talk to your Commander." I heard Clarke's voice say as I watched her walker closer and closer to Indra's spear tip. "Let me through." She demanded.
"Let her pass." Lexa said as she looked over at me not amused by the Sky people's last-ditch efforts.
Indra raised her spear to allow Clarke to pass and make her way over to where Lexa, Gustus, a few guards and I stood waiting for the punishments to begin. "You bleed for nothing." Lexa explained to her. "You cannot stop this."
"No. Only you can." Clarke offered her, as many grounders began to shout and chant from the distance gaining their excitement to see that justice was served for what happened to the innocents. "Nova?"
Clarke said as she looked at me as I just stood there my eyes directly on her, emotion lacking from my eyes. Our people were raised not to show weakness; even if it was at the cost of those we loved. So why was Clarke and her people so eager to show us how upsetting the death of a murderer was to them?
I watched as Clarke looked over to where the cheers and chants where coming from. They were bringing Finn up to be tied to the post to begin the first stage of his punishments. First we start with fire, if he even lasted so long.
"Show my people how powerful you are. Show them you can be merciful." Clarke began to beg, if Lexa showed Finn mercy Gustus and Indra would be forced to kill her. If they had my brother I am almost certain he would have told Clarke that.
"Show them you're not a savage." Clarke continued as I felt Gustus' eyes on me, and everyone else's eyes where locked onto Clarke just incase she tired anything. "We are what we are." Lexa seethed out to Clarke.
"Then I'm a killer. I burned 300 of your people. I slit a man's throat and watched him die. I'm soaked in grounder blood." Clarke continued to say as Lexa turned her head to look over at me as I shook my head to say no. Finn was whom we wanted, Clarke would simply not do at this point in time and she knew it.
"Take me." Clarke begged her voice filled with pain and remorse.
"But Finn is guilty." Lexa explained to her, "No. He did it for me." Clarke said slowly.
"He did it for me." She repeated herself; I stood there and watched her as she seemed to break down. "Then he dies for you." Lexa told her.
"Can I say good-bye?" Clarke asked Lexa, Lexa seemed to stiffen at the request knowing this would be the moment Clarke was going to use to mercy kill her boyfriend.
It was better Clarke killing him than us dismembering his entire body like we were creating art. I could tell all eyes where on our Commander, we were behind schedule on executing Finn already and her letting Clarke say 'good-bye' was only making many of our people wonder if she'd grown soft.
I knew better than most, letting him die at Clarke's hands would only haunt her for the rest of her life. Taking the life of the person you love most. That would eat away at her forever, she would slowly go crazy at the sheer thought of what she'd done. That was Lexas' plan from the start; allow them to kill one of their own.
We stood there as Clarke walked over to the boy who was attached to the pole, and pulled her face closer to his kissing him aggressively. She seemed to stand there for a moment staring into the boys eyes, it was now that I started to feel horrible for letting my men capture the boy to bring him here for his death.
I nearly killed men for what they put John through and here I was standing here about to allow my own people to do the same thing to Clarke. I didn't care for Clarke at all; she lied to me and was the reason behind Anya's death. However I had a soft spot deep down in myself for love. This felt wrong.
I watched as Clarke rested her head on his shoulder and attempted to wrap her arms around him in one final embrace. If she was going to kill him herself now was the opportune time to do so. Part of me hoped she didn't do it, and just came back to beg more for his life.
The other part of me; the 'grounder' part of me just wanted this over with. Wanted her to hurry up and grow the strength to just kill him and hurry up with the peace treaty between our peoples. Sadly I knew that wouldn't be the case as I could hear her sobbing grow heavier. She had done it… she killed him.
I let myself lower my head in respect for the dead. There was no shame in feeling remorse for a fallen human being, regardless if the kill was justified or not. I left my eyes on Clarke as she moved away from Finn his head now hung low, her holding onto a bloody blade.
Guess she had the guts after all. She moved away from him revealing his dead boy to all of us, his shirt soaked in his blood. Her own shirt covered in blood as well. Her face was sullen and full of regret, which I knew would be there. Our people began shouting in anger moving to attack Clarke for taking their prize of Finn's life.
"It is done." Lexa said firmly.
We could hear a girl screaming in pain from their camp, and here I assumed Finn was with Clarke. We all kept our eyes on Clarke as she just stood there as the rain slowly began to fall on her. I feel like I could hear her heart break from the act she had just committed. What was worse is that it was going to eat at her for the rest of her life. We had broken her.
Rayne's Point of View
Once the night had grown dark we all stood there at the edge of our camp watching as they all began to chant and light torches. With Raven next to me I could feel her wrap her arms around mine, I think this was effecting her a lot more than she had expected it to. I felt Bellamy wrap his arms around my shoulder trying to keep me steady.
I couldn't believe our decision to just let Finn give himself up, and then to let Nova act like it was a good thing we did. I knew she didn't like Clarke but this was someone's life she was so eager to take. I was surprised that Murphy didn't leave with her after what Raven had tried to do with him that alone shocked me.
"What is that?" Raven asked as she moved away from me, and closer to where Clarke was standing.
"It's for Finn." Clarke whispered to her softly. "They want us to watch."
"We're gonna get him." Bellamy said squeezing me closer to him, his voice cracking. Knowing full well there was nothing we could do for Finn at this point. "We'll get in closer and we'll hit them hard."
I looked up at my father as he was now standing next to Bellamy and I staring out at the grounders massive camp outside of our own. Staring at them knowing there was likely something we could have done to save Finn, protect him even.
"Bellamy, there's thousands of them. Even if we could kill hundreds, they'd still wipe out this camp and your friend would still die." My father explained to them. "You've kept your promise to me so far in keeping Rayne safe, don't go breaking that now on a fools errand."
"We have to try." I heard Bellamy's voice crack as I squeezed my arms around him.
"Abby." Raven started to say, "Abby, we have to do something."
"No, Raven." I barely heard Abby say.
"Come." Bellamy whispered into my ear as I followed him away towards where Clarke seemed to be standing waiting for us. "Take this." Clarke said handing something to Bellamy as I felt more like a show piece than someone helping out.
"What're you doing?" He asked her, as Raven caught up to us.
"I'm gonna talk to the Commander." Clarke informed us. "Don't be crazy Clarke… they'll expect you're up to something." I told her as she sighed.
"I have to do something." She told me. "What else do you have to say?" Bellamy asked her as we continued walking towards the gate.
"I don't know." She snapped. "I don't know."
"Clarke…" I trailed off once we stopped walking.
"Give me your hand." Raven's voice came from behind Clarke.
I watched from Bellamy's side as Raven took Clarkes hand sliding a blade under Clarkes sleeve. That would get Clarke killed if she was found out. We could only hope Nova would be the one to notice and stop her if she was even down there.
"If she won't let him go, kill her." Raven said quietly to Clarke.
"She's lost it." Bellamy's deep voice whispered into my ear.
"Things'll go crazy, and we'll grab you and Finn. Clarke. You have to help him. I owe him my life." With that Clarke was out of the gate and Bellamy was dragging Raven and I back to where Abby and Marcus where standing watching the scene unfold before us.
"What is she doing?" Raven asked from beside me as Bellamy looked over at Raven than turned his attention back to Clarke. We watched as she walked up to a grounder whose spear was pointed directly at her stomach. "Let her pass." We heard a grounder call out loudly.
"Bellamy… what's going on?" I asked my voice filling with fear. "I'm hoping that was the Commander." Was all I heard him say.
We stood there watching as the grounder brought Finn out from the darker part of the camp. Quickly moving him towards the post preparing to tie him up so that they could begin. What ever it was Clarke was going to do she had to do it soon. Otherwise Finn's life was over in a matter of moments.
"Come on, Clarke. Do it." Raven began to egg on. How could she not realize if Clarke killed the Commander of the grounders while surrounded by grounders. That it would only get both her and Finn killed and cause the massacre of our entire camp… had she really lost it like Bellamy said?
"What is she doing?" Raven asked us.
As we all stood there and watched as Clarke ran towards Finn pulling his face closer to hers' giving him one final kiss good-bye. She was mercy killing Finn; I knew she wouldn't let him die a torturous death. Clarke cared for Finn far to much to watch him go through a night of agonizing pain.
We all stood there and watched as Clarke pulled herself closer to Finn hugging him. I felt Bellamy pull me closer to him, gripping onto my arms tightly almost as if he was seeing Finn and Clarke as him and I. I don't think I could do what Clarke was doing, I am nowhere near as strong as she is, brave as she is… I would have just died to be with Bellamy again. I couldn't imagine life without him in it. Not anymore at least.
We all stood there watching as Clarke moved away from Finn, his body seemed to just hang there. Motionless, his shirt had grown darker; his head hung low facing the ground. I could tell Raven was about to break down, he was her first and only love and she just watched as Clarke killed him. Yes she spared him a worse fate, but she killed him nonetheless.
"No!" Raven began to scream, a long hard angry scream filled with pain and hatred. Where the hatred was aimed I could only take guesses.
Bellamy and I immediately engulfed Raven with our arms as we guided her gently to the ground so that she wouldn't hurt herself as she made the collapse. I felt Raven rock herself in my arms her screams seeming to grow louder as Bellamy had now wrapped himself around the two of us.
"Rayne it'll be ok." I heard him whisper in my ear. Was I also crying hysterically? I moved my one hand to my face wiping my fingers under my eye removing many tears that where staining my cheeks.
I had been so focused on Raven I hadn't noticed; I was crying along side her. I wrapped my arms tightly around her pulling her closer to me stroking her hair gently. I made no attempts to tell her everything would be ok because simply, things would never be the same again. Things where about to change for better or worse we would never know.
