Nova's Point of View

Once I had left Lexa's tent I made my way back towards the campfire, sitting next to where Clarke was sleeping and the young man had his girlfriends head on his lap as she slept. "She is right, trust goes a long way between our people." I told him as he turned to look at me.

"I don't have to trust any of you, I trust this." He commented pointing to the girl in his lap.

"You trust her over family?" I asked him.

"I think we can both admit that our family." He said dragging out the word. "Has other interests than us in mind."

Nodding I took in a deep breath looking around the area, Lincoln and I used to spend many nights in our old village just laying in the grass looking up at the night sky. Coming up with grand tales as to where our parents had gone, or what they where up too. Family.

"He hasn't been my brother since before your sister came and took him from me." I admitted to him as he lowered his head.

"Where you two close before? He told us that his people see him as a traitor…" I chuckled.

"We where as thick as thieves, our mother died shortly after our other brother was born, he died of complications…. So did she. The Commander we had at the time had ordered our Wood Clan to go to war with another clan… our father never came home… we were all each other had." I told him, "Than one day he did something, something to which I am told was unforgivable so bad I too had to leave the village… we joined with Anya and her troops, then your people blew up the bridge I was taken captive… here we are." I told him as he arched his brow.

"That's right… you where the one Clarke met in the mountain."

I nodded; "Same one she left to die." I explained.

"Than you can help me get in." I thought about it, "Well I can create a distraction so that they will take me back, than help you in." I told him. "However something tells me Clarke and your wife wouldn't approve."

"No they would, I don't think Murphy would either." He smirked at me.

"Than I suppose if this were to happen we would need to make sure we return to them." I explained as he nodded to me.

"Than I guess I could learn to trust you, I mean it seems we both have a chance to lose things we care about most." He told me as I grinned. "Well of course." I told him,

The next morning Lexa, Gustus and I lead the way back to Indra's village to where the ceremony was to take place, I had already told Lexa about the boys plan to possibly sneak into the mountain to help our people even more. She thought the idea was far too risky and if I got captured again or killed she wouldn't be able to protect Murphy from Indra or the others.

"Open the gate!" Gustus yelled to the people of the village, apparently since Finn had chosen to kill many innocents they had attempted to amp up the security of the village.

The gate began to slowly open as both Gustus and I quickly dismounted from our horses as Lexa soon did the same. Safety first of course, we had to make sure we could move freely to protect the Commander should danger rush towards her.

Walking back towards the Sky people Gustus faced them all and demanded their weapons that they had on them. Which shouldn't have surprised them considering the last time one of their people entered this village 18 of our people had been murdered. Lexa, Indra and I stood by the horses and watched as each of the people where searched for weapons and had them removed. One girl seemed to be more of an issue that we needed, weapons all over her person.

"All Clear." Gustus told Lexa after he had finished checking them all for weapons.

Rayne's Point of View

I stood there in between Clarke and Bellamy as we all continued to exchange looks between the three of us. Bellamy had told me that Nova was trying to befriend him last night when Clarke and I had been sleeping, which worried me. She was a beautiful girl, and Murphy didn't seem like he was the only one who was overly infatuated by her.

We began to follow the leaders and grounders into the camp as the four guards followed behind us with Finn's body. I could hear the screams and shouts of the villages from outside the gate, whatever it was they where saying didn't sound pleasant at all. We were not welcome here.

Bellamy quickly took my hand in his gripping mine as he moved closer to me in an attempt to keep me safe. The people where shouting towards us as we walked in between them as they began to shake their weapons in the air and in our direction shouting angrily at us and spitting towards Finn's corpse.

Soon the Commander and her three leaders stopped in front of a man who was blocking our path as he began to talk to her, he had so much pain behind his eyes. So much anger in his voice, he must have been one of the people who had lost something. Nova seemed to try talking to him too but he just snapped at her as well. I looked over to Bellamy as he pulled me closer wrapping his arm around me.

Bellamy and I quickly were snapped from each other's trance by the sound a bones hitting bone. Looking forward as we watched Gustus sit overtop of the man that had blocked our path punching him repeatedly in the face. Causing the entire village to grow silent from their screaming and shouting as they just watched in fear. I looked to Clarke nudging her to say something, anything.

Clarke nodding at me quickly made her way up to where the Commander was standing with her leaders. Talking to her in an attempt to get her to stop the brutal assault on the man whom had obviously lost a lot already. The Commander turned to face the entire village as Bellamy and I parted from each other a small bit.

"The Sky People march with us now. Anyone who tries to stop that will pay with their life." She said coldly as we all looked around at the grounders faces who all look terrified by what she had said.

"Warm welcome." Bellamy said causing me to nudge him in the ribs. "Behave." I told him quietly as he smirked at me.

We stood there as the people of the village began to place the wood into a pyre, placing the bodies all around it with Finn's body on the top of the entire pile of wood as we all stood there waiting to see what was going to be said or happen. Needless to say I was rather afraid of these people, regardless of what she had informed them of… they still scared me.

The Commander had begun to speak to her people in the language that we still barely understood the words of. Lincoln stood behind us softly translating for us as we stood there our eyes all glued to the pyre in front of us. Glued to Finn's body, the bodies of the victims of Finn's temporary insanity.

I felt Marcus move so that he was on the other side of me, stuck between the two men in my life which often frightened me that they would clash when, they seemed to in fact get along. Possibly from there shared interest in my well being and happiness.

"People of Tondc, in fire we cleanse the pain of the past." Lincoln translated for us as we Bellamy and I linked hands lowering our heads out of respect.

"Clarke…" The Commander said as we raised our heads to see what it was that she was saying. The Commander stood there holding a torch out for Clarke to come to her and take.

The murmurs and whispers instantly began to spread throughout the village once she had said it. Looking throughout the village I noticed all the uneasy and unhappy looks on the many faces of the grounders. They must have seen this as a form of disrespect, allowing the people of the 'killer' to set the pyre ablaze.

Clarke took the torch moving so that she was standing next to the Commander on the stand, staring out at the pyre that held Finn's corpse. Staring at what she was considering to be one of her biggest mistakes, killing the man she was in love with. I watched, as she seemed to turn her head to look next to her as if someone was standing there. She slowly lowered her hand and the torch down onto the wood and kilning.

Clarke and the Commander soon stepped down from the stand they where on as Clarke tossed the torch underneath Finn's body, as the entire camp went silent. Reflecting, crying, remembering, regretting. I stood there as I leaned into Bellamy his arm wrapping around me comforting me we lost a friend. Regardless what he had done to this village he was our friend, and we were going to miss him.

Later that evening the grounders had readied a meal to solidify our truce with them, so we could start working on getting into and taking down Mount Weather. Save our friends whom where still stuck in there, and get out the ones Nova couldn't save. Walking in we noticed there where many roasted bores, fruit and vegetables all over the table.

Indra and Nova stood dressed in more ceremonial type clothing on the Commander's left, with Gustus on her right side. They all stood there watching us intently as we all walked into the room standing in front of plates waiting to be welcomed to sit. Lincoln and Octavia had already been in the room before we had entered.

My father stood on my left as Bellamy took his place on my right, Abby and Clarke standing on the other side of my dad with Raven at the end next to Bellamy. "Please accept this gift, Commander." My father had said to her as he extended the gift of Alcohol that was made in Monty's kiln before we had left.

"We drink this at special occasions. I believe this qualifies." He explained to her as she nodded looking over at Gustus. "As we know, we saw when you had found your daughter again." She said softly.

"Thank you, Marcus of the Sky People." She said again once Gustus had handed her the bottle.

"You're welcome, Lexa." He replied to her happily. "Kom Trikru." He attempted to pronounce to her. "Just don't drink too much of it."

"Clarke, let us drink together." Lexa announced.

"It would be my pleasure."

I felt Bellamy nudge me as I looked over to him ceasing to pay attention to the others at the table. "Peace finally." I told him.

"Yea, now we can stop playing games and go save our friends."

"I have miss Monty and Jaspers babbling." I admitted.

"And Miller, gotta say I miss having my right hand man." I chuckled softly.

"There's so many people that I miss, Bell's." I told him as he nodded to me taking my hand in his as we heard Gustus speak causing us both to turn our heads in that direction. "And allow me." He spoke as he brought the cup to his lips taking a long sip from the cup.

He handed the cup back to Lexa as she held the cup beginning to speak again. "Tonight we celebrate our newfound peace. Tomorrow we plan our war. To those we've lost." She toasted.

Her eyes now planted on Clarke; "And to those we shall soon find."

Almost the instant Lexa was about to take a sip of her own cup, Gustus her right hand began to convulse and fall to the ground clutching his chest in pain as he hit the table moving away from the table hitting the wall. We all moved away from the table as far as we could in shock as to what was going on in front of us. What was going on with him, were the allergic to something in the alcohol we gave them?

"It's poison" One of the grounders shouted.

Bellamy looked over at Clarke slapping the cup she held in her hand; "It was the Sky People!" Indra screamed out, as every single grounder in the room whipped out their weapons. Aiming them at us all with a growing hate in their eyes. They kicked back their chairs and pushed the table from the center of the room.

We all gathered together in a group as Bellamy stepped before us all, "This wasn't us." He shouted at Indra whose sword was in his face.

"Bellamy move back!" I begged him.

"You have to know this wasn't us!" Clarke screamed out to Lexa who was now standing next to Gustus with Nova kneeling down at the mans side her hand on his forehead looking up at Lexa saying something in their language.

Indra soon shouted something in their language to the other grounders in the room as they all moved quickly over to us patting us all down checking out pockets, jackets and anything we had on us. "No! Please!" I screamed.

"We didn't do this!" I heard Clarke cry out.

"Gustus warned me about you, but I didn't listen." Lexa said as she advanced Clarke.

"Stay away from her!" I screamed out moving towards Clarke as best as I could with all the grounders in my way.

"Lexa, please-" Clarke began to beg.

"Tell me something, Clarke." Lexa began to say as Nova made her way to the Commanders side the anger flowing in her eyes.

"When you plunged the knife into the heart, of the boy you loved, did you not wish that it was mine?" She asked her.

One of the grounders said something as we all turned to look as he pulled a small vile from Raven's coat pocket. Raven couldn't have picked a worse time to show us how angry she was about the fact that Finn was dead. "That's not mine." Raven shouted. "I'm telling you, that's not mine." Raven said again as I turned to look at her.

"He put it there when he searched me." She sassed, could she not realize whom she was talking down too? These people would not hesitate to kill any of us why on earth would she antagonize them. Now of all times.

"No Sky Person leaves this room." Lexa screamed as all of her people began to leave the room, pointing their weapons at us on their way out as to show us trying to rush the exit was a terrible idea.

"Do something." Octavia suggested to Lincoln as he rushed towards the exit, as Indra and Nova were the last two to leave the room. Thankfully considering Nova was his flesh and blood, his sister.

"Shit." Was all I heard from Bellamy who was standing beside me.

"Indra… Nova." He called out as the two woman stopped in their tracks turning around to look at him.

He began to speak in their language as a playful smile began to etch onto Nova's lips, which was confusing considering the death glare Indra was giving him for even speaking her name. Nova seemed to say something to Indra causing the woman to finally crack a smile onto her lips as Nova walked closer to her brother and Octavia pulling out her own sword.

"Speak for them Lincoln?" She asked him moving her sword close to Octavia's direction. "You are them. You best pray that Lexa takes pity on you and only takes the life of the one who tried to kill her." She spat at him.

"Nova, please say something to her. You're her second." He told her.

"How observant of you brother." She spat out the last part harshly. "I speak for my people, not yours." She snapped as she spun around walking out of the room as Indra smirked at him while Nova fled up the stairs.

Once they shut the door Lincoln turned around at looked at all of us as we began to exchange looks of panic and fear. I shook my head as Bellamy moved closer to me, "She'll talk to Lexa, she's just mad at her brother trust me." He tried to comfort me.

"Their going to attack Raven for this Bells there has to be something we can do or say to stop them." I said.

"There isn't." Lincoln told us causing me to shake my head, "Yea, not helping Lincoln." I responded.

Bellamy pulled up a chair in front of me cupping my face, pulling my face to his kissing me lightly. Once he pulled his lips from mine he whipped a small tear from under my eyes; "I will keep you safe from these beast till my last dying breath." He promised me.

"A breath we would be making together." I told him as I kissed him again
