Hey guys! So I was asked how Rayne knows fluent grounders, figured I should explain that. I had thought I had mentioned that Indra, Nova and Octavia were teaching it to her over time. If I hadn't I do apologize for not making that clear. She had been learning it, that's my answer to that, so I am sorry :[

Rayne's Point of View

The night we had let Emerson go was the last night I had seen Octavia and Nova. Nova had taken one of the fastest horses and a large enough water supply leaving the war to go find Murphy. Romantic but it would however likely brand her a traitor. Indra and I had spoken about how with Nova gone she would take Octavia under her wing and I would just do training with them.

Which I guessed was ok however it still made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be around them regardless of Indra telling me I was. It was weird knowing the grounders welcomed Octavia and I more than our own people did, they respected us and wanted us around. We weren't just in the way of their plans.

"Hey, still no Bellamy?" I asked Raven as I sat down on one of the chairs next to where she was standing. She had mapped out Mount Weather completely with the schematics that Maya had given her the night before.

"Nothing yet… but he does need to move around unnoticed that could take time." She told me.

"No I know, just doesn't hurt to ask. These are really detailed Raven, you two must have been talking all night." I chuckled as she smiled, "Pretty much." She told me as she turned her attention back to the map.

"Has he checked in yet?" Clarke rushed in with one of the two grounder details behind her, however she didn't seem to be asking if he had radioed in it more or less seemed like demanding.

"No." Raven said flatly, "You worried someone's gonna try and take a shot at you inside the ark?"

"He's here for both of us." Clarke told her.

"Indra taught me enough I can protect myself." I told her as Clarke shook her head.

Raven smirked at me as she turned around and faced her schematics again; I looked over at Clarke motioning her to tell Ryder to leave. Last thing we needed was to make Raven anymore uncomfortable about this whole thing then she already was. "Wait outside, Ryder." Clarke commanded him as she turned back around.

"Like I said, Lexa's orders. Rayne she won't be happy you sent Luca away from watching you either." She told me.

"Like I said, I can protect myself." I told her.

"Whatever guys." Raven snapped, Clarke looked at me sadly as I offered her a smile.

Clarke turned around to look at the radio taking in a deep breath, "He will make contact Clarke. He promised me." I told her as she nodded, "What if something's happened to him?" She asked me, "You would never forgive me."

"He'll be fine." Raven said as Clarke looked up at me as I shrugged.

"You've been busy Raven." She commented. "Why are you focusing on the dam?" Clarke continued.

"The dam?" I questioned, "Don't we need the acid fog disabled?" I asked.

"That's what I said, I told you Raven Acid fog is priority."

"Well, until her boyfriend gets eyes on their dispersal system, there's only so much I can do." Raven said as the two girls moved closer to each other.

"Fine. Tell me about the dam." Clarke sighed as she continued to walk around the room. "Can we cut off their power?" She asked.

"Maybe. I'm still playing with a few things." Raven began to say as I uncomfortably sat down next to the radio. Clarke opened something as the noise tore through the room. "How many of these have you made?" She asked Raven.

"Only two so far, but—" Raven was saying as Clarke angrily "Two? That's not enough. There will be Reapers everywhere." Clarke growled at her.

"Clarke, don't yell at her she's doing what she can." I added. "What she can she has the entire engineering team at her disposal." She told me as I glared at her, "Clarke, I said don't yell at her."

"High-frequency ton generator's don't grow on trees, Clarke." Raven spat at her as she began to walk towards her. "Wick is scrounging for parts."

"Girls, stop this catty childish shit now." I raised my voice as the two turned to look at me, "Where is this pointless banter honestly going to get either of you? Really?" I asked them.

"Rayne we are about to leave for Tondc, where Lexa and the heads of all 12 grounder clans are waiting for us. Waiting for me to tell them we're ago, how can I tell them that when they still have Acid Fog and we only have two tone generators." She yelled at me.

"Take a deep breath Clarke, we will figure it out." I told her. "Bellamy will turn it off." I said softly.

"Ark station, do you read me?" Bellamy's voice drifted into the room filling my body with the missing warmth. "Anybody there?" He asked.

"Bellamy, you're late." Clarke snapped at him when she picked up the radio. "Every 3 hours means every three hours."

I could hear the heavy sigh he had made through the speaker causing me to grin slightly, I missed him, so much. "Are you through?" He asked, "Put Rayne on, you promised me I would get to speak to her." He said as she smiled softly at me before handing me the mic.

"Hey Bells." I said to him as I could hear the change in tone in his voice. "Hey." He responded to me his voice calming down slightly.

"Ask away babe." He chuckled lightly.

"Acid fog, find it's source yet?" I sighed; hating that the only way I was allowed to talk to him was to find out stupid things like this.

"No. That's going to have to wait." He told me, "What? No!" Clarke said loud enough for him to hear, "Nothing is more important that that." She continued.

"Our friends are." Bellamy told her. "Rayne, they're starting to take them from the dorm." He told us.

I sat there frozen, when I looked over at both Raven and Clarke to see that the two of them where also frozen in place realizing the worst, "One at a time every few hours."

"Taking them where?" I asked him as the two girls kept standing next to me. "I—I don't know." He told us.

"Maya and I tried to follow them, but they went to a classified level. Maya borrowed the schematic of the vent system from her boss, and I'm still trying to find a way in." He said sighing in frustration. "Anything?" I heard him ask.

"I may have found something, but it's going to be tight. Here's the walkie Raven asked for and the ear bud." I heard Maya say as I turned behind me to look at Raven confused. "You got him a walkie?"

"We're going to make him mobile so he can talk to us from anywhere. " Raven told me as she placed her hand on my shoulder, "Baby, you have to find them." I told him softly.

"I will Ray, I promise you on that." He told me. "Bellamy." Clarke said as she leaned over me to talk into the radio. "Yes… Clarke." He sighed.

"If you don't, all of this is for nothing." She told him. "Yea." He said weakly.

"I'll be right back." Clarke announced as she began to leave the room. "Do you want me to come with you?" I asked her as I walked over to her.

She looked to her feet, "Would you hate me if I sent your father in our place to Tondc?" She asked me.

"Clarke, you can go I can stay here with Raven and figure out Bellamy's situation, we can talk over the radio I'm sure one of them reach that far." I told her.

"So that's a yes you would hate me?" She asked.

"We've been over this, I don't hate you Clarke… I hate some of the choices you make, which is why you told me to lead with you." I reminded her.

"I know, I just I want to be here we need to work together." She told me as I sighed, "Fine, as long as you promise me that he'll stay safe." I told her.

"He will, I promise Ray." She said. "Then go ahead we'll tell you if anything changes." I told her softly as she smiled rushing off towards to where the council room was supposed to be.

"And here I thought you joining forces with her would tone her down." Raven remarked. "There's a lot riding on her getting all their defenses down. If we don't come through the grounders will kill all of our people, than the 12 Clans will break their own peace treaty and a new war would start." I explained to her.

"Still doesn't mean she needs to command the rest of us around like we're her puppets Rayne and I swear if you start doing it too." She warned me. "I start doing it too… what Raven?" I asked her arching my head.

"Bellamy is up in that Mountain and I may never see him again, so excuse me if I may or may not eventually get a little bit cranky over things." I told her.

"I never even got to say good bye to Finn." She told me. "Raven, if you keep living in the past like that you're going to make yourself go crazy, Finn murdered 18 innocent men women and children… if he did that in the Ark he would have been tortured and floated. What Clarke did was out of kindness and love, you should be grateful."

"It's because of her that happened." She spat. "No Raven, he did that because of himself blaming Clarke for something he did when he thought she was dead is no fault of hers." I told her as I sat down.

"Can we stop fighting this is pointless." I told her, "Everyone of the Ark people have lost something being down here either of us acting like we're the only ones who've lost something is stupid. Some people have lost their entire families on the journey down here." I told her as she sighed sitting herself down too.

"You're right, but that doesn't mean I have to like her." She told me.

"You're right, it doesn't. However you do have to respect her since she would be the first killed if we all fail. She has the most to lose." I sighed.

Bellamy had been crawling through the air ducts for the past hour with Raven and I leading him through it. Or well Raven telling me a direction, and me relaying it to him. Clarke had at some point joined us standing next to Raven looking over the large map that she had made. "Tight squeeze?" She asked me.

"Sounds like it, he doesn't exactly sound like he's comfortable."

"Oh I'm sure it's not the first tight space he's been in since getting down here." Raven said as Clarke teasingly punched her shoulder. "Raven." She hushed her.

"Am I right Rayne?" She asked me. "We're not discussing this." I sighed shaking my head.

"Party poopers." Raven said sticking her tongue out at me.

"Ask him where he is then." Raven told me.

"Bells?" I asked, "Yea love?" He said softly into the radio.

"Tell us where you are now, so Raven can look at the map." I asked him.

"Damn and here I thought I was getting to hear your beautiful voice to tell me sweet nothings." He chuckled, "I'm at an intersection. Which way do I go from here?" He asked me.

I looked over at Raven. "So he just passed the air filtration system on this floor, which puts him about here, so tell him to go straight." Raven told me as Clarke arched her brow, "Raven says to go straight." I told him.

"Any chance she wants to be a bit more specific?" He asked me.

Clarke smirked, "Yea look here, the shafts split off five different ways. Which one leads to the classified room?" She asked.

"Hold on babe, we're trying to figure it out." I said as I stood up moving towards the girls to look at the map.

"There has to be something where does this shaft lead?" I asked pointing at a line.

"I think that leads down towards the level with the meal hall." Clarke said, "What about this one?" She asked pointing to another.

"Leads back up to medical look." I pointed out.

"Never mind. I got this." Bellamy said to us as we all looked at each other moving closer to the radio's speaker.

All we could hear was a drill whirring; I could hear Clarke's breath hitch as she looked at me. Her eyes begging me to tell her what we where hearing wasn't what she thought it was. I felt my mouth grow dry as much as I wanted to tell her what it sounded like wasn't what it was.

"Is that a drill?" Raven asked the two of us.

"Bone marrow extraction." I said feeling the oxygen in the room almost completely disappear, as both girls almost seemed to hold their breath at the thought. "Your not serious are you?" Raven asked.

"The amount they're going to need from them means they're all going to be dead by the time the doctors are done with them, if what Bellamy said is right… there could already be fatalities." I told the two of them.

"You ready for the last treatment ever?" I heard a woman ask.

"You have no idea." A man said as Clarke pushed me lightly, "I've waited my whole life to breathe fresh air."

"Rayne, that's Emerson." She told me as I took a deep breath, "We should have let Indra kill him." I mumbled.

"Let's get back to this secret army that they claimed to have, and you said Clarke isn't the only Sky Person in charge? Who was this other one?" Another man asked.

"Her names Rayne and I thought she was a savage until one of the male leaders said she was his daughter." The man said, "Stop drilling, please." The man asked again.

"The window for extraction after death is incredibly short." A woman said.

"They've already killed one." Raven commented.

"However nothing about the army ,Sir. She did say she was coming for you." Emerson said. "If we let her people go, they'll let our people live

"Which she?" The man asked. "Mixture of both of them." He told their leader.

"Little late for that." The leader said as I felt my blood begin to boil, "I want to personally be the one that kills that man." I growled.

"No, you Lexa and I get to do him in together." Clarke told him.

"I'm pretty sure I'm good with him getting the same death Lincoln had told us about." Raven added.

I sat down in the chair my entire body flooded with emotions starting with sadness and pain moving up to anger and hatred. Indra told me to not let emotions govern me, she told me to use these emotions and fears as ammunition in battle. She told me not to weep for the dead and dying till after the battle. She told me, not to trust Clarke she told me the Commander didn't trust her and the likelihood of her life still being hers when the battle was over was slimming with each day.

How much of that I trusted was up for debate, the Commander seemed to trust Clarke a great deal. She had wanted me to be her pawn at first but when Clarke stood up when I had refused… the trust and care went towards her instead. There was no way I was going to be able to take Clarke's place now unless she died and there was no way I was going to let Clarke die. Regardless of how many grounders had seemed to want that to happen.

"I'm sorry I failed, Sir."

"No, it's ok. We'll finish the job tonight. Whitman just radioed in. Apparently there's a war council meeting happening tonight in one of their villages, and all the leaders are gonna be there." The man said.

"Do you think the new Sky Leader will be there?" Emerson asked, I could hear the leader laughing. "Rayne wouldn't happen to be the busty red headed girl that we always see with Clarke?" He asked.

"One and only, she seemed so quiet when we where watching them. Since they've been with the savages she's gotten more of an attitude." Emerson told him.

"I'm sure we can find a use for her and the others from the Sky if they stay behind. It's the main leaders I'm focused on, that girl is as much in charge as my father is right now." The man chuckled.

Clarke looked at me, "I don't even want to know what he means by that."

"Well Maya did tell me they have over 300 people in that mountain… if they kill all our leaders there isn't anyone left behind to protect their crop for the rest of their people." Raven added, "They have 47 kids in there, that's 47 people to use the bone marrow on."

"So they mean to eventually come down here and take the rest of our people…." I remarked.

"They wont touch our people, not with Bellamy in there, keeping to plan." Clarke reminded us.

"Sir, I feel good. Let me take a team out and support Whitman." Emerson said.

"No. He has less chance of being spotted if he's alone."

"Sir, Whitman's good, but he can't take out that many targets alone." Emerson responded again. "Which is why we're gonna use a missile." The leader said.

"What?" Clarke and Raven said in unison. "A missile?" I choked out.

"This time, we're not gonna miss." The man said again.

Clarke, Raven and I all exchanged looks with one another, I wasn't sure which scared me more. How ballsy this new leader seemed to be, the missile or the fact that they had been watching us so closely they knew our mannerisms and personalities. All I knew is the leaders needed to be warned, they needed to be taken out of there.
