FLASHBACK

Things suddenly felt too real for Rei to still just be dreaming of the pleasurable feelings that she imagined Hiei could give her. The most obvious clue that she wasn't completely immersed in her fantasy world any longer; Rei felt a distinct passion conveying pressure pressed against her lips, which made absolutely no sense since dream Hiei was currently lavishing her breasts with attention.

opening her senses to the real world and allowing consciousness to take over; Rei was alerted to the presence of the familiar warmth that was Hiei. She wasn't surprised since the fire demon was a closet sleep cuddlier, but what did momentarily catch her off guard was the passionate kiss he was currently coaxing her into.

Without farther hesitation Rei opened herself up to him. To the one she'd come to love.

'Is this it? Are the lines and boundaries of our relationship beginning to reform into in to something more?' She thought as their tongues battled and twined together.

END FLASHBACK

They hadn't done anything more than that before Hiei stopped and tucked her against him protectively. She also suspected that he was a bit amused by the fact that she was disappointed that they hadn't gone any farther, his hands hadn't even left her hips. Logically she completely understood why they'd hadn't been able to go any farther, and that a few things most definitely needed to be discussed first. Just as she knew exactly what he meant when he said that he was under stress, he was anxious to finally get to fight again, and there was a good bit of sexual tension in there.

Hiei dodged Macentoro's attack slicing off his arm in the process. His thoughts on what happened the night before and that morning being interrupted by his opponent deciding to speak.

"What's wrong?" The larger demon chuckled tauntingly when a purple liquid dripped down onto the ring at Hiei's feet. "Did we have a little accident in our trousers?"

"Your whole nervous system." Hiei replied, "it leaves much to be desired."

Macentoro continued on mockingly. "What're you talking about, my nervous system." Come on just give me your best shot!" He said raising a clenched fist.

"Fool...I already have." Taunted Hiei as he raised the arm he'd perfectly severed right at the elbow.

Macentoro shrieked horrified as he realized what had happened.

"Well now isn't that a bit disgraceful." Shishi remarked dully from his place on the sidelines.

"He's even faster than last time." Kuwabara gasped in surprise from where he stood spectating with Kurama and Rei.

"You're lucky I'm generous." Hiei stated as he tossed the limb to Juri, who caught it and immediately started to freak out in disgust. Hiei turned to leave the ring leaving his opponent on his knees in the center of the ring.

Macentoro stood, "h-hey where are you going? I'm not done with you yet." He growled as the fire demon ignored him. "I SAID I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU!" He shouted his flesh twisting to turn his severed limb into an axe as he charged at Hiei. Slicing just as the fire demon was turning to face him crimson eyes wide with surprise.

"DIE!"

"You're eyes are rather slow...too bad." Hiei said from his place atop the demons shoulders as he plunged his sword through his head the tip coming out underneath Macentoro's head.

"Gross!" Kuwabara exclaimed as the lifeless body dropped to the floor.

"Go ahead and roll Shishi." Hiei pointed to the blue haired demon, "I have a feeling that it's going to be me once more."

FLASHBACK

Hiei awoke in a mood the hardness of his cock contributing to his current emotional state.

'There better be a good fight.' He thought in annoyance.

Quickly he got ready then went to wake his companion.

"Get up and get ready." He told her his tone harsh though he shook her gently.

He left the room before she could even utter her customary good morning. He wasn't ready to talk about what they had done the night before, though nothing had really happened, he'd done something that could have possibly completely shifted their relationship and didn't want to talk about it until he knew what was going on with him.

END FLASHBACK

"Roll, I told you to hurry." Hiei stated focus back on present, "I'd like to finish warming up."

"Careful." Shishi smiled fakely, "fate may have a sense of humor." He tossed the dice.

"So any of us verses Kuromomentoro." Kuwabara stated.

"This might be my lucky day after all." Hiei stated meeting the eyes of his next opponent.

AN: Hey everybody I'm back in action and trying to get back n regular update schedule now that life has calmed down a bit. For the next few weeks though everything that gets updated is just the stuff that was already typed out and ready to be posted, so don't fret if you were hopping for something different it just needs to be typed.

Yes I used original dialogue and parts from the anime, so obviously I don't own the entire plot, just the bits that directly involve Rei and her developing relationship with everyone's favorite fire demon..
