"Speaking"

-Rin's writing-

"so orange isn't just your favorite color I see." Sesshomaru chuckled.

They were at their cake tasting, and since they hadn't been able to agree on one they would have to get two. Sesshomaru it seemed preferred the more traditional flavors such as vanilla and chocolate; however, Rin liked to get crazy and go for the party flavors. Now they were gong with the rarely seen groom cake and the separate bride cake.

"Have you made your choices?" The baker asked, once they picked the flavors he would meet with them just once more to show them some cake designs.

"Yes, I would like your vanilla hazelnut marble cake for the groom." Sesshomaru said.

-Citrus and strawberry layer cake.- Rin wrote.

"And we'd like the honey glaze for both." Sesshomaru finished.

"Alright I'll contact your planner once I have some drawings for you to look over." The baker said after taking down their order.

Next was dinner at the restaurant that would cater lunch and the small cot-tail hour after the ceremony.

Sesshomaru had already chosen the drinks without her since Rin wasn't old enough to drink, and was against alcohol all together, but would not deny the guests the choice to drink or not...besides since cot-tail hour would be happening at the garden the drinks would look great in the venue.

"You don't want to just give them the option of chicken, beef, or fish?" Sesshomaru asked repeating what Rn had wrote.

-It's boring and way over used when it comes to catered events.- She wrote as an explanation.
"I have to agree with you on that." He said.

Sesshomaru thought back to the weddings been inclined to attend for business and to keep up appearances. They had all pretty much served the same food.

"Alright then I have a solution." He sad waving over their server.

"Yes, sir?" The waiter asked.

"I would like to speak with your manager." Sesshomaru said.

Though he seemed a bit worried by the request the young man bowed politely went to carry out the request.

"You requested an audience with me Mr. Tashio?" The old woman who owned the place asked arriving in just a few minutes.

"Yes, my fiance and I," he began gesturing to Rin who waved shyly, "are using your establishment to cater our up coming wedding."

"Is something not to your liking?" The elder asked.

"Quite the opposite, we wish to reserve your entire establishment and menu for the event." He explained.
"We only have dinner reservations for the rest of the week." The old woman explained.
"We would need you for lunch on the thirty-first." He said

"I will be certain that we are ready for you." The old woman said clearly happy about the profit she was about to make.

"Call this person to finalize everything." Sesshomaru told her giving her the card for one of the planners.

"So he bought out the entire restaurant for the entire afternoon?" Rin's mother asked as she, Rin, and Izayoi spent the evening at the Tashio estate finishing the rest of the invitations.

Rin nodded. She wouldn't be returning home to her father's house, she would be staying with her in-laws until after the wedding; her things already having been moved into Sesshomaru's home.

"That sounds like something he would do." Izayoi said stretching out hr cramping fingers.

They still had about one hundred and five more to get done, and the mailing and deliveries had to be made first thing in the morning.

"At least you got a lot done today." Her mother said, "what's left?"

-Cake design, final fittings, rehearsal dinner, deciding on entertainment.- Rin replied.

"Inutashio says he has the entertainment covered, and that you'll love it!" Izayoi said giving her something else to cross off the 'to do list'.

Rin was just happy that everything was going smoothly, her sister told her not to get used to it because on the day of everything would get crazy. It was not something that Rin was looking forward to; Rin wanted everything to keep going the way it was.

"Are you getting nervous?" her mother asked.

Rin shook her head. She'd gotten over her nervousness once her fears about Sesshomaru and his intentions towards her had been dealt with. She had no reason to be nervous because in her opinion they balanced each other out, she was emotional and all over the place; whereas, Sesshomaru always cool, calm, and collected...he was a living embodiment of the three C's.

"It's going to be so great having you in the family!" Izayoi sighed pleasantly, "Sesshomaru is a lot less cold since he net you!"

"I have still yet to formally meet him." Her mother realized.

"You'll see him at the rehearsal dinner tomorrow." Izayoi said.

"Good I need more than Rin's looks to go off of when I'm up there imagining my grandchildren." Kira grinned.

Izayoi squealed in delight and both of the older women began a conversation that Rin wanted no part of.

Sesshomaru watched as the maids went about organizing and putting away everything that they had taken from Rin's room at her father's home.

"I seems that she enjoys sewing and making things of that nature." Jaken said.

It couldn't be argued with they had unpacked three sewing machines and tons of fabric rolls. I seemed as though she could make anything from pillows and blankets to clothes, and they were all of good quality. she even had a few sketch books full of designs.

This is my mate's hobby this is what she does in her free time. He thought.

"We also discovered some college text books Mi' Lord." The imp told him.

They were all academic books so she was more than likely in her first year of classes, and since she was a mute and a shut-in, it was wise to assume that she was continuing her education online.

"Everything will be perfect when you return from your honeymoon Lord Sesshomaru." Jaken said his squawking voice full of pride.

"I'll be in my study, do not disturb me." Sesshomaru said leaving, he still had a bit more work to take care of.

Kagome and Hiro would be staying at the Tashio estate until after the wedding as well.

"Rin who all did you pick as bride's maids?" Kagome asked. Rin had made her one, but didn't know who any of the other girls were.

-My sisters and one of my nieces, my other niece will be the flower girl.- Rin wrote.

"Oh, then why pick me?" Kagome asked it had been bothering her, especially since they had only met once.

-Well, we're kind of going to be sisters in a way, and this is a good way for us to spend more time together and get to know each other better.- Rin explained.

for some reason Rin had liked Kagome the moment they had met each other that night in the hospital. She was a friend that Rin wouldn't mind having.

"You know whoever upset you and made you retreat within yourself deserves nothing less than the worse punishment out there." Kagome said picking up Hiro.

Rin just smiled; Kagome was the first person to ever say anything like that to her, and Rin liked her all the more for it.

AN: I decided that The wedding and Rin's little back story were a bit too long and too much info to try and cram into one chapter, so here is another small moment of wedding planning to tide you over until the touch ups are finished. Do no fret two chapters will go up for this on the next update.

Please R&R.
