Thoughts

-Rin writing-

She was asleep now, leaving him alone with his thoughts. After the reception the newly married couple had boarded a plane flying first class to Italy. Rin had fallen asleep fifteen minutes after take off.

This is the perfect time for me to try and figure out what her mother meant, and what the Onigumo family could have done to her. Sesshomaru thought running his clawed fingers through softly through her hair.

Sesshomaru was familiar with Naraku Onigumo. He was a disgusting half demon that liked to pretend that he was more than that. His company held the number three spot up until he'd been exposed and bankrupted for illegal dealings. But Naraku hadn't disappeared, he tried to keep the life he once had, but no one was buying into it. He was never liked, and his family was equally hated by everyone.

What did that bastard and his disgusting family do to my mate? He growled inwardly.

After the flight they checked into their hotel, and after a short nap decided to go out for dinner to a little restaurant that Izayoi had recommended when told where they would be spending their honeymoon.

"Rin...I know that this may be difficult for you, but I would like to know what did the Onigumo family do to you?" Sesshomaru demanded though his tone was gentle.

-It wasn't the whole family just Hakudoshi.- She wrote.

Really Rin didn't want to get into it, but she needed to tell someone. Maybe Sesshomaru can help...She encouraged herself.

"What did Hakudoshi do them?" He asked.

-We were in school together up until I turned six and refused to go back. In preschool no one would speak with him, he seemed lonely. I could tell that he was just as awful as the rest of his family though just by looking in his evil eyes.-

Sesshomaru remained quiet and nodded for her to continue.

-We had just finished our first week of first grade when it happened.- She wrote, -he invited himself o my sixth birthday party and ruined the entire event. I had told him to leave because only may friends were invited, and he declared that he was going to be my only friend and attacked the other children during games, and pushed my five tear cake on me lit candles and all saying that I had betray him.-

"Why did he feel the need to go to such extremes?" Sesshomaru asked twitching from anger.

-No one wanted to be involved with someone of Onigumo heritage, and I had still continued to reject him even after what he'd done at my party. But he'd told everyone that he was my friend and they couldn't talk to me, and everyone started ignoring and avoiding me as well. He would follow me around and emotionally harassing me.- She continued. -I began closing myself off eventually becoming completely silent, and then one Friday I arrived home went into my room and never came back out.-

To try and salvage the mood of the day; Sesshomaru suggested they take a walk after dinner. It was working to lift Rin's spirits her smile returning. Sesshomaru was however still lost in thought.

He wasn't surprised to hear that Hakudoshi had spent his time tormenting his classmates, he was just having a hard time deciding how to punish the bastard for basically staking a verbal claim on his mate, and since he was a half demon Hakudoshi knew what he was doing. Sesshomaru's mind had always been adept at coming up with effective methods of torture, and right at that moment he couldn't seem to pick one.

Rin tugged on his sleeve to get his attention.

"Yes Rin?" He asked.

-It is still our wedding night, we should return to the hotel and uphold tradition.-

Sesshomaru didn't hide his surprise at her boldness, but he did scoop her up into his arms bridal style and fly back to their hotel.

He had his lips on her's before they had even landed.

AN: Sorry for the long wait I had a huge spark of inspiration like a month ago and finished several chapters and am close to end at least two more fics probably on spring break. Editing had been a real bitch since I also have work and school, but with the break coming you can expect a good bit of updates for several of my stories (editing is done!). Again sorry for the wait and I will post as fast as my fingers can click!
