AN: Thank you everyone who has been commenting and reading it means a lot to me. Once again I am not JK Rowling.
Sirius led me out of the doors onto the front lawn. My trunk was silently gliding across the grass behind me and the younger students stared in shock and awe when we passed them.
"How does she do that?" One of them asked in a hushed voice. I froze at the voice. It was one of Sarah's friends. I didn't know her name but I smiled at the brunette anyway.
"Magic." I said with a wink then continued towards Hogsmeade where Sirius and I would Apparate straight to Grimmauld Place. My parents and Sebastian were already waiting there for us to return. Sirius had added a bunch of extra wards so Severus and any other death eaters couldn't get in there. It was the only way anyone was willing to stay there.
I walked through the gates and turned back to look at Hogwarts. The castle looked absolutely gorgeous against the bright blue sky. I swallowed thickly thinking of all the different things that had happened over the years. Fighting a troll, being petrified, meeting Sirius Black the supposed mass murderer, seeing the absolute shock and terror on Harry's face when his name was called out of the goblet of fire, Umbridge taking over the school and the horror that was my last year. So much had happened.
"Sweetheart, you okay?" Sirius asked squeezing my hand.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said my voice soft. Sirius pulled me towards the gates past the carriages with the Thestrals. I gasped and took an automatic step back my eyes wide.
"Hermione?" Sirius asked his voice soft.
"Thestrals. I can see them." My voice sounded distant and off. Sirius closed his eyes and blew out a heavy breath. I took a step closer to the intimidating creature. Its head was lowered his white eyes gleaming in the sunlight. It was small and bony with a face the resembled a dragon. Slowly it lifted its head and stared right at me. I stared back at it waiting. The Thestral blinked its eyes then fluttered its wings as if to cool itself.
"Come on Hermione we should get going." Sirius said placing his hand on my shoulder. I nodded and took a small step back. The Thestral didn't move and I let out a heavy breath. Sirius led me away from Hogwarts and stopped across from the Three Broomsticks. He tapped his wand against my trunk and it shrunk to the size of a ring box before slipping it into his pocket.
"Hold onto me." I stepped close to Sirius and wrapped my arms tightly around his waist and closed me eyes. Sirius dissaparated with a small pop. I was pressed from every side and my breath came out in small pants. Immense pressure was on my chest and I struggled to breath properly. Then as quickly as it started it was gone.
"I hate Apparating." I muttered shaking my head. Sirius laughed and pulled me towards Grimmauld Place where I would be living from now on. I wasn't going back to Hogwarts. Even Sirius knew this but he hadn't said anything about it. He didn't have to. We both had our jobs within the war and he knew I would be leaving soon.
Sirius pulled me deftly into his arms and I shrieked with laughter. "What are you doing?"
"Isn't there some muggle custom about the groom carrying his bride into their house or something?" He asked opening the door and carrying me in.
"How did you know about that?" I asked blowing a curl out of my eyes.
"Harry was telling me about some random muggle facts so I could understand you better." He said carrying me towards the library.
"Learn anything good?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Not really." He said shrugging and carefully lowered me from his arms.
I looked around the room a small smile on my face. So many good memories in this library. Sirius and I had our first real conversation in here, we had even gotten married in here. A small smile spread across my face as I looked around the room.
A wave of love crashed into me and my knees almost buckled with the force of it. I turned to look at Sirius. His eyes were dark and he took two steps towards me.
"I love you." He whispered fiercly his voice husky. I shivered and he growled deep in his throat before he kissed me passionately. He pushed me back towards the couch and nibbled on my neck. A deep throaty moan escaped my lips before I could stop it. Sirius pressed his body close to mine and I whimpered softly.
"I love you." I whispered before he dove for my neck again. The feel of his body against mine always made me incoherent with lust and want for my husband.
"Sirius could you – bloody hell!" Sirius and I sprang apart as if we had been shocked. Standing in the doorway was Remus looking thoroughly embarrassed, his cheeks pink. "Er could I talk to you when you have a free minute?"
"Sure." Remus darted away faster than I thought possible and I groaned in frustration. How was it someone always walked in or overheard when we forgot the silencing and locking charms?
"That was horrible." I muttered covering my face with my hands.
Sirius suddenly started laughing. "Its not funny!"
"Yeah it is." Sirius said between guffaws nodding his head. I glared at him which only made him laugh harder. "He should know better than to walk in on newlyweds since he's one himself."
I thought about that for a moment then my eyes widened. "Ugh! Bad images!"
Sirius laughed even harder a large smile spreading across his face. He would find my embarrassment funny. After awhile his laughing finally subsided and he shook his head, "Come on Sweetheart lets go see what he wanted."
Sirius and I made our way down to the kitchen where Remus probably had gone to hide from us. Loud yelling came from behind the door and I quickly rushed forward pushing the door open.
"There are worse things than this Remus!" Dad was yelling his face red. I looked at my mum who was standing in the corner tears on her cheeks trying to calm Sebastian who was crying loudly.
"What in the world is going on in here?" Sirius yelled striding forward to put himself between my father and Remus who looked like they were seconds away from coming to blows.
"Nymphadora is pregnant." Dad said a dark look in his eyes. A huge smile spread across my face and my heart stuttered happily. Wait, my smile faltered, then why were they fighting? "And Remus has decided to leave her."
It was silent for one long moment then Sirius lunged at Remus a look of pure rage on his face.
