AN: Sorry guys work has been crazy hectic today trying to finish everything I need to before I leave and also my co-workers wife is having a heart attack its all just crazy on my end. So like I said before I am writing as much as I can before I leave tomorrow. I might be able to update tomorrow night, Saturday and possibly Sunday but after that I just have to see what happens. Once again I am not JK Rowling.

"You really shouldn't have hit him." I murmured soaking Sirius' hand in a bowl of Murtlap. He sighed as I worked on cleaning out the blood that was caked against his knuckles.

After Sirius had hit Remus a few times dad had pulled them apart. I had no idea my father was so strong but he had easily parted them. Remus tried to retaliate but I had rushed Sirius out of there before either of them could do anymore damage.

Right now Sirius and I were on our bed. I was trying to clean out his bloodied knuckles as best I could. Honestly it was terrifying to see him so unhinged.

"Probably not but it sure as hell made me feel better." Sirius muttered leaning his head against my shoulder. I kissed the side of his face and he let out a content sigh.

"I can't believe Tonks is pregnant." I said softly shaking my head.

"Me neither. It was hard enough trying to imagine James as a father and Remus is going to be one." Sirius said shaking his head.

"Why would he leave Tonks? I don't understand how he could possibly do that to her." I muttered shaking my head.

"I know why. He's afraid of passing on his lycanthropy to the child." Sirius said his voice grim. My heart stuttered and I frowned thinking.

"Is that possible?" I asked in a hushed voice.

"I have no idea." Sirius said shaking his head. "Remus never thought any woman could ever love him let alone marry him. I honestly doubt he ever thought something like this could happen."

"But what if the child isn't like him?" I asked trying to think everything through.

"Its the fear of the unknown. He really loves Tonks I've seen the way he looks at her when he thinks no one else is around." Sirius shook his head. "He loves her as much as I love you."

"Then how could he possibly leave her?" I asked softly pulling Sirius' hand out of the Murtlap. The cuts looked much better now so I tapped my wand against his hand. A moment later bandages wrapped around the broken skin.

"He thinks he's doing what's right even though he's obviously wrong." Sirius said shaking his head his eyes dark. I leaned back against the pillows thinking of everything, Tonks would be devastated again.

"What if the child is like him? What would him leaving do then?" I asked tapping my hand against my leg thinking as Sirius lay next to me. "Tonks would love the child just as much and I know that for a fact. We've talked about kids before!"

"You what?" Sirius asked sitting up his eyes wide. "When did you do that?"

"Christmas after I had the pregnancy scare. We talked about the possibility of children and how we would deal with it. They were engaged so they could understand my dilemma where Luna, Hannah or even Ginny wouldn't be able to help. Its terrifying, the thought of bringing a child into this world during this time. I have no idea how Mrs Weasley did it during the first war."

"Sweetheart why didn't you tell me about this?" Sirius asked sitting up so he could look at me. "At some point you need to realize you don't need to keep things like this from me. I will understand and even if I don't I can help you carry the burden."

A tear trickled down my cheek and Sirius leaned forward to wipe it away. "I don't mean to keep these things from you its just that... talking about it makes it real."

"Don't keep things like this from me anymore okay?" I nodded and Sirius wiped another tear from my cheek.

"I want kids." I whispered swallowing thickly at the words.

"I do too. I absolutely adore the thought of bushy haired children running around. But I can wait." Sirius said running his fingers through my hair. "I will wait. It wouldn't be safe with you going on the hunt if you were pregnant."

"Well Severus did leave us with half a years supply of contraceptive potions." I said softly blushing at the thought.

"Did he really?" Sirius asked his eyes sparkling with mirth.

"Yeah he did." I muttered horribly embarrassed.

"Ah Sweetheart, you don't have to make that face. Severus knows we're still in the honeymoon phase." I flushed horribly and smacked Sirius with a pillow. "Hey! I'm only stating the truth."

"Yeah well don't!" I said hitting him again with the pillow. He deftly removed the pillow from my hands and tossed it to the floor. Crookshanks rushed out from under the bed and sat on it a smug look on his squashed face.

"Thanks a lot now I'll never get that pillow back!" I yelled pinning Sirius to the bed.

"I'll get you another one." Sirius muttered softly then his eyes flashed. It happened so fast I didn't see it coming. One second I was pinning Sirius to the bed and in the next he had me pinned to the bed my arms above my head.

"How did you do that?" I asked dazed.

"I never reveal my secrets." Sirius said his eyes growing dark with want. He leaned down and kissed me fiercely. I gasped at the surge of love and almost felt giddy with it. No matter how many times the bond fed me his emotions it still surprised me with the intensity of them.

"I love you." I gasped out my voice airy. Sirius smirked against my skin then dove to bite my neck. I gasped sharply and he licked the spot.

"I love you too Baby." And Sirius dove for my collarbone placing soft open mouthed kisses against my skin. I shuttered and pulled him closer so I could place my lips against his. I truly loved this man more than I could possibly have ever imagined.
