A few months later, and Whitney was in the studio making her fourth full length studio album. She had decided to call the album, My Love Is Your Love. It had been quite awhile since she was in the studio to work on a full album. She had been in and out of the studio to record the soundtracks for her movies. But this was a brand new album from scratch. At first, Whitney had no interest in doing a full length album. She thought a greatest hits album with a few new songs could suffice. But once Clive listened to what had been done so far, he insisted that a full length album be done, as it was too much good material to pass up on. Whitney went into the production with mixed feelings. She loved to sing and doing a brand new album was a bit exciting; however, she was a mother and a step-mother now, as well as a wife. She loved being with her husband and babies; doing a big album meant that a tour would have to come with it. Plus she still was annoyed with what the media had to say about her. There still were weird rumors about her alleged lesbianism with Robyn and the so called "diva attitude" she had and her interracial marriage. She tried to ignore it all, but it was hard to do so at times. Looks wise, she was at her A-game. The surgery have her the lift she needed; she only went up a cup size, so her bust looked very natural (Kevin decided he was glad she did it because he couldn't keep his hands off of them). She knew that she owed it to her fans to do an album and tour, and that was the main thing that kept her going. She also felt a monetary obligation to do everything so that not only she got paid, but her brothers, cousins, musicians, and everyone else could as well. Everyone in her family was so financially dependent on her and she felt as though she had to make sure that they all were taken care of.

Whitney was putting in double time; she tried to be at home with her family as much as she could and then she would work in the studio nonstop It had become so tiresome, especially because Clive set a timetable to have this album done in a month. Kevin had been very supportive of her decision and being with the family, but he also had his own career obligations as well. It all was a stressful and trying time for her.

Kevin was able to spend the day with the twins and Krissy. Krissy begged to have him take them to the studio to see Whitney, so Kevin gave in. Besides, he had been missing seeing Whitney himself. They hadn't been able to see much of each other lately. When they came in, Whitney broke into a huge grin. "Hey guys! This is such a pleasant surprise." She kneeled down and gave Krissy the biggest hug she could muster before taking the twins in arms and picking them up. Brelynn and Brayden smiled, happy to be in their mother's arms again. "Hi mommy!" Krissy excitedly greeted her. Kevin gave her a kiss. "We've been missing you, as you can see." He told her. Whitney continued grinning. "I've been thinking about you all and missing you too." After talking with the children for awhile and introducing everybody to her family, Kevin and Whitney caught up on what was going on in each other's lives. Whitney told him how much pressure she was under to get things done and the huge possibility of a world tour. "Honey, that sounds like a lot on your plate. How are we gonna be able to get through this? I mean, I barely see you now and you're still in town." Kevin asked her

"I know baby, but what can I do? I mean you and the kids can come with me. I want you all there." Whitney told him. "That would be fine, except we're talking about a tour in Europe, Asia, and all over the U.S. Krissy, Annie, Joe, and Lilly all have school. Plus I have two films to do. How is this gonna work out?" Kevin asked. Whitney sighed, feeling another added stressor about her family. "Again Kev, I ask, what do you expect for me to do? If I'm putting out another album, I have to do another tour. I have to do the promotion and music shows and everything that comes with it. It's not like I have a choice here."

"You always have a choice in what you want to do in life." Kevin reminded her. "I can tell that this is stressing you out. If you wanna just finish this album out and do some promotion, I think that's all you need for it to be successful. I mean, you're Whitney Houston. Not a robot." Whitney sighed again. "I know that Kevin, but….you're not understanding fully where I am coming from. A tour has to be done with this album." Kevin glared at her, frustrated with what he was hearing. "Does it? Or does a tour have to be done to support your leechers… I mean family?" Whitney narrowed her eyes. As much as Kevin was right, she would never admit to it. "Why would you even go there? Do I make you stop what you're doing with the films, and getting your band together and your business ventures? Have I ever put you into a corner?" "No you haven't." Kevin told her. "But if you did, you know that I would do what I gotta do to make sure that I was there for you all." Whitney groaned. "I can't even talk to you right now boy. You're not making sense at all!" Kevin stood up "Fine. But just know that we still have some talking to do."

They went back into the front of the studio where Krissy and the twins where playing with some of the background singers.

Krissy looked up at Whitney. "Mommy is Kevvy in trouble?" Whitney kneeled down and gave her daughter a kiss. "No baby. Daddy's just ready to go home now, and you have to go with him." "Are you coming with us?" Krissy started to look despondent. She didn't care for being away from her mother for long periods of time. Whitney tried to not show her sadness. "No baby, not right now. Mommy's still got some work to do." "Can I stay with you mommy? Pleeasseee?" she asked. "No sweetie. It'll probably be really late before we're all done here." Whitney told her.

Krissy's eyes began to fill with tears. "But I'll be a good girl, I promise." Krissy began to cry, which caused the twins to come over and whine as well. Whitney rocked all three of her babies in her arms, feeling horrible at that moment "You're gonna make me cry, if you don't stop crying." "But I wanna staaaayyyy." Krissy told her."I know baby, I know. I want you all to stay too. But if you stay, you're gonna leave daddy all alone, and you don't wanna do that, do you?"

"No." Krissy sniffed as the twins calmed down. "Good. That's mamma's sweet babies." She brought Krissy and the twins over to Kevin, who gave her a "now look what you've done" stare. Whitney tried her best to ignore it and continued talking to the kids as she put the twins into their strollers and gave them both a hug and a kiss. "You all can sleep in my bed and when I get home we all can sleep together okay?" she told Krissy as she kissed her. "Okay." Krissy told her. "Bye mommy."

"See you later guys. I love you all very much." She gave Kevin a peck on his cheek; for the first time she didn't feel that he was receptive that her offer of affection.

Once they left, Whitney collapsed into her seat and put her hand over her head. Rodney Jerkins and Darkchild were reviewing a track that she just done; she had another two songs to get finish to keep everything on schedule. What have I gotten myself into? She thought. Being a wife and mother was easy enough. But being a wife, mother AND pop star was proving to be quite ugly and difficult. She remembered as a child why her mother had quit touring because she rarely saw her and her brothers and now she understood why she did so. However, Whitney had so much more to lose than her mother did.

Rarely did her and Kevin see eye to eye, now it was another worry that she had on her plate to see how she could make things right. As if she needed something else to fret upon.

She hate to do what she was about to do next, but did not know what else she could do to calm her rising anxieties. She got up and whispered something into one of the studio crew's ears. "Sure." He smiled, exposing his gold-encrusted teeth as he pulled out a bag in his pocket and handed it to her. "Anything thing for you, Queen.." Whitney took what she had and snuck off into another room and closed the door. A few minutes after taking care of personal business, she felt the stress of what she had been carrying around for months lift. And her thought of her spat with Kevin evaporate from the bad habit.

Little did she know that one of the studio's mistresses took pictures of the entire exchange between Whitney and the guy. I have blackmail, which means that she is gonna have to pay or get played! The woman excitedly thought to herself.
