One: RWBY vol. 2 ended, and two and I posted a brutally honest review of it on my blog which is linked on my profile. Feel free to check it out…then, depending on how you feel about the review, unfollow the story…
Anyways, here's the next chapter of For the Love of RWUBY featuring Naruto & Pyrrha Nikos. Enjoy!
Chapter 6 (Confession): Start!
In the Sanctum Academy cafeteria, a young girl sat alone as she ate her lunch. Her red hair was tied up in a ponytail that went past her shoulders and she was wearing the uniform that came with the school: a simple green dress shirt with a brown tie and dress. Her head was down and while most would assume that this was because she was eating, the real reason was so that she could hide the sullen expression on her face. Why was her face so?
"Hey look, there's Nikos…" One boy whispered.
"You mean the monster girl?" Another whispered.
Hearing the whispers she craned her head over to the left to see the students who were making this comment. When her eyes met them, they all jumped in fear.
"Oh crap dude. She sees us…"
'Let's get out of here…"
Her head went back down to her lunch tray, tears threatening to fall from her face. She was gifted, incredibly so. Already in her second year and she already had a regional tournament victory under her belt. Her athleticism and combat skills were able to match even seniors. This, along with her body that was much taller and muscular compared to most girls in the academy, made her unapproachable to others. It made her feel…alone.
"Yo." Her wallowing came to an end when she heard someone call out to her. Looking up, she saw a rather short young man with spiky blond hair and blue eyes with three whisker marks on each cheek staring at her
"Um…can I help you?" The red head asked.
"Yeah. Can I sit here with ya?" The blonde requested.
"Are… you sure about that?"
"Duh. Why would I have asked if I wasn't sure?" The blue eyed stranger questioned.
"Well…don't you know…about me?"
"Of course I know who you are Pyrrah. I just don't care. I just saw you here, so I wanted to sit here and talk to you."
Pyrrah stood there in silence. Here was a guy who didn't care about Who she was or her reputation. He just wanted to talk to her like a normal person. The blonde wasn't aware of this, but that one sentence was like so reassuring to her. Before she could say anything else, the whiskered blonde sat down next to her.
"So Pyrrah, why are you here by yourself?" he asked and just like that, Pyrrah's cheerful expression became a down one once again.
"Well, it's probably because most of the other students think I'm unapproachable. They see me as either this person that's so far above them that they can't talk to me, or they see me as a monster."
"Well, that's dumb." The whiskered boy said. "I mean I'm right here talking to you and I don't see you as a monster or some silly junk like that. All I see is a girl with pretty hair."
Pyrrah's cheeks turned pink at the compliment of her hair. She nervously began to play with her ponytail as she asked: "Y-You think my hair's pretty?"
"Yeah, I've never seen hair as gorgeous as yours. It actually makes me want to run my fingers through it."
Completely unused to someone her age saying something about her was pretty, the tall girl's face heated up even more, much to the confusion of the blonde sitting next to her "T-Thank you…oh, I never got your name."
The blonde gave the red head a toothy grin while pointing his thumb at his chest and introduced himself: "Naruto Uzumaki! The top dog of this school! Or at least, that's how I would introduce myself if there wasn't someone who already had that title…"
"Oh... well I never asked to-" before she could get that sentence out, Naruto flicked her on the forehead.
"Hey, don't start that. Whatever you hear from everyone else, just don't worry about it. You're a great athlete and a great fighter who deserves the spot she's at in the school. If the other guys think you're unapproachable or whatever, it's their lost. The way I see it, you don't need to be friends with those chumps."
"Naruto…" was all Pyrrah could say. The words she was hearing right now had touched her to her core.
"But, if you really feel like you don't deserve the top spot in Sanctum, just come find me. I've got no problem claiming it from you." He challenged her with a grin on his face.
The red head looked at Naruto for a few second before she broke down in a fit of giggles, which evolved into full blown laughter. "Very well Naruto, whenever you want, I will be more than happy to accept a challenge from you." She didn't know why, but the blonde's honesty and general friendly aura just made it easier for her to accept his declaration to a fight in the future.
Naruto then extended his hand to the red haired huntress in training and asked: "So, we got a deal?"
Pyrrah accepted the handshake and responded: "Deal."

A seventeen year old Pyrrah was in front of the mirror in the Team JNPR bathroom. She had grown taller since her days at Sanctum as she was now six feet tall; her hair had also grown down to her waist, but she hadn't had it up in its usual ponytail. This of course was on purpose as her long red hair was going to give her a big hand with her goal for today.
Taking a look at herself in the mirror one last time, she took a deep breath before she grabbed her scroll and sent a very important message to someone to meet her on the rooftop of Beacon.

"I don't even know why I bothered telling you this…" was the complaint of one Jaune Arc as he gave a dry look to a laughing Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki. The leader of team JNPR had just finished telling his fellow blonde how he had been trying to get Weiss to go to the dance with him, his plan was him playing the guitar and singing a song he came up with on the fly. Naruto during that situation had left beacon to find a nice ramen shop.
"I don't know either, but I'm glad you did. That's hilarious!" Naruto said after finally calming down from his laughter.
"Come on Naruto. You gotta help me out here. You and Weiss are teammates; you even live in the same room, you have to know SOMETHING that I can use to get her to go to the dance with me." Jaune pleaded.
"Forget about it Jaune. Even if I did want to help you out, me and Weiss aren't exactly the closest on the team, there isn't much I could tell you." The whiskered blonde responded which only bummed Jaune out. Before he could try to comfort the JNPR team leader, he received a message on his scroll. After reading the message, he stood up.
"Where are you going?" Jaune asked.
"Heading to the rooftop. Pyrrah wants to see me there. Anyways Jaune, just don't give up on Weiss. I'm sure, things will work out." Naruto said as he left the lounge and headed for the rooftop.

A good fifteen minutes later, Naruto had arrived on the rooftop where he awaited the red head "Yo Pyrrah." He greeted. Looking to his left and right, there he saw her, with her red hair undone from her usual ponytail and flowed freely down to her back. It was truly a stunning sight.
"Hello Naruto." Pyrrah returned the greeting. The blonde had walked over to where the much taller girl was and there they stood side by side.
"You always looked great with your hair down." Naruto complimented.
"Th-Thank you…" The blushing Pyrrah responded. The two stood together in silence for a few more seconds before a smile ghosted on the red haired girl's face and she asked:
"This feels nostalgic, doesn't it? Just the two of alone on a rooftop."
"Yeah. We don't really hang out like this anymore." He said. With the two of them spending time hanging out and training with their respective teams, they never had time for just the two of them to just hang out with each other.
Especially like they did in the days of Sanctum where on some days they would just sit hang out on the rooftop of the school and would do multiple activities ranging from just chatting to sparring with one another, which he would just barely lose.
"Is that why you called me up her Pyrrah? No offense, I like hanging with ya, but from the way your message sounded, it seemed like you wanted to talk to me about something important."
A deep exhale was let out of Pyrrah's lips as she prepared herself for what she was about to say. "Naruto…" she began. "I…well…I…" he face was heating up as she tried to tell the blonde what she was thinking.
"Huh? Pyrrah, you okay? Your face is turning red." Naruto confusedly asked.
"E-Everything's fine…" She reassured. "It's just…Naruto…" she couldn't take this; just thinking of saying what she's about to was driving her crazy. After a few moments, she decided what the best course of action was. She closed in on Naruto, showing the remarkable height advantage she had over him, gripped his shoulders, and with all the courage she could muster, planted a soft kiss on his lips.
Naruto stood there in surprise as Pyrrah kept kissing him. Earlier in the day, he was just goofing around with his fellow blonde then the next thing he knows he's in a lip lock with his closest friend. After thirty seconds, the red head finally broke off the kiss.
"P-Pyrrah…" Naruto said with a red face as he took a step back.
"Naruto…I like you." A still blushing Pyrrah confessed. "Ever since we met in Sanctum, you've given me something I could never replace; you gave me an honest bond. You never saw me as the monster girl or the invincible girl. You just saw me as Pyrrah. If I can be honest, you're the kind of person I want to be with…"
"P-Pyrrah…I don't know what to say…" Naruto fully admitted. This situation was sprung on him so quickly; he didn't know how to react to it. Despite this, Pyrrah kept a warm smile on her face.
"That's fine Naruto. I didn't expect you to answer. Whenever you're ready to talk about this, you know where to find me." She gave him one last peck on the lips before leaving the roof. Whether Naruto returned her feelings or not, she won't know till the future, but for now, him just knowing was enough.
Chapter End
Not gonna lie. I'm not that proud of this one. IDK what it was, but something felt…off. I left the ending ambiguous because I wanted ppl. To come up with their own ending and sequel bait…most likely sequel bait. Anyways everyone, that's all for this one, catch you all next time in For The Love of RWUBY!

Spike Spiegel: Yes, I do plan on doing sequel chapters. Heck, you might be getting one sooner than you think…
Son of Helios: I should applaud you for incidentally guessing which pair up we would be getting next, now can you guess the next one?
Dario Soto: Here's an update. I've got an idea for Cinder and Emerald floating around in my head, but it might be a while before I get to those two and Neo (especially Neo).
PheonixAnon1: In due time…
