AN: I'm fairly sure this story will be done by Christmas Day. If you ever have requests for certain stories just ask and I'll see what I can do. I don't do Weasley or Dumbledore bashing, sorry, or lemons. Once again anything you recognize is JK Rowling's anything you don't is mine.

Two and a half Months after the Final Battle

"A little to the left." I said as Sirius and Remus tried to move the new Telly. Emily was sitting next to me a book in her lap. She was trying to get ready for Hogwarts which would be starting in two weeks. We were going to take her to get her books on Saturday.

"Actually I think it was better where it was." Severus muttered absently, from where he was absently tapping the keys of the piano. Sirius and Remus both groaned. Since it was a Muggle telly they couldn't use magic or it wouldn't work. We found that out the hard way two days before.

"How's it going in here?" Tonks asked carrying a pitcher of lemonade on one hand and Teddy in the other.

"Dreadful!" Sirius groaned. Tonks laughed and plopped Teddy down next to Sebastian who was playing with a truck.. Sirius and I had taken to babysitting Sebastian every chance we got so we could have some baby time and see what it was really like so we could be prepared.

"I think we should take a break." Remus said dully dropping into a chair. Tonks filled a glass with some lemonade and passed it to him.

"I agree." Sirius muttered dropping down next to me. He leaned forward and placed a kiss against me cheek.

"You act like I asked you to make Liquid Luck." I said with a little laugh turning to Sirius. Severus snorted but didn't say anything.

"Cheeky." Sirius said laughing. I leaned forward to give him a kiss but something was off when I turned. My stomach jerked and I gasped. "Hermione?"

"Excuse me!" I yelped clapping a hand against my mouth and darted to the bathroom on this floor. Footsteps sounded behind me and I halfheartedly shut the door behind me. My stomach rolled repeatedly as I emptied the contents of my stomach into the toilet. I barely noticed Sirius holding back my hair as I grabbed some toilet paper and absently wiped my mouth.

"Sweetheart..." I groaned leaning my head back against the lip of the tub. "That's the third time this week. You can barely keep anything down."

"Your point?" I groaned wiping at my cheeks. It seemed every time I got sick tears squeezed out of my eyes against my will.

"Maybe we should go back to St. Mungo's and talk to a Healer." Sirius said wiping a stray tear from my cheek with the pad of his thumb.

"No, I'll be fine." I groaned standing up slowly. My stomach jerked again and I automatically leaned over the toilet. But this time nothing came out. I dry heaved repeatedly and placed my hands against my stomach. Sirius was rubbing his hand against my back trying to comfort me but it wasn't working.

"Okay I'll go."

January 5, 1999

"Now Ginny what color were you thinking?" I asked tapping my hand against my leg.

"This one." She said pushing forward a dark deep green.

"No! I wanted to do green!" Susan exclaimed hitting her hand against the table. "After all Draco is a Slytherin."

Hannah sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Does anyone mind if I choose a deep blue?"

"No, I had a rainbow of colors at my wedding and it won't be too matchy matchy." Luna said absently smiling brightly. Ron and Luna had had a small wedding in November and Mrs. Weasley had been ecstatic. Now she was doing everything she could to put together Ginny's wedding and right now the planning had stopped until we could figure out a color.

"What about purple?" I asked after a moment. Ginny paused thinking.

"Purple could work. But not lavender its too depressing. I want a deep purple like eggplant." Ginny said.

"Okay good! We have a color." I said happily. Mrs. Weasley walked into the kitchen waving her wand through the air. The dishes started to clean themselves from dinner.

"Oh, hello dears. I thought you would be at Grimmauld Place." She said waving her wand again. The leftover food packed itself away and disappeared from sight.

"Its too boring there." I muttered with a sigh. "Ever since Sirius went back to his Auror duties and Emily and Severus went back to school its way too quiet."

"Well it won't be too long till that baby is born and it most definitely won't be quiet or boring." Mrs. Weasley said with a knowing grin. Well that much was true. Baby Black would be born any day now and even though I was nervous about labor I was looking forward to it. I was huge, uncomfortable, had heartburn and had to go to the bathroom every half an hour to an hour. The baby was most definitely going to be a quidditch player because it loved to kick the hell out of my bladder.

I stood up to go to the lavatory for the third time this morning and froze when I felt a little pop and warm liquid soaking my knickers. Merlin, I wet myself. I flushed and tried to rush away but stopped at Mrs. Weasley's sharp gasp.

"Hermione! Your water just broke!" I froze as my friends turned to me, varying forms of shock on their faces.

"Someone send a patronus to Sirius and a letter to Severus. As headmaster he'll be able to give Emily the day off from classes." When no one moved Mrs. Weasley glared around the room.

And that was when I felt the first contraction hit me. My muscles tightened horribly. It was a cross between a horrible belly ache and a strong menstrual cramp. I moaned and sank back into the chair I had just gotten out of.

"Come on women lets move!"

Sirius POV

Draco and I made our way back to the Auror's office. I spat out a mouthful of blood and gingerly held my stomach. Merlin, when he asked to duel me to get better I didn't expect him to go all out.

"You didn't need to use the punching spell." I muttered darkly.

"Yes I did, like I said I needed to practice." Draco said with a superior air.

"And a groin kick is part of it?" I practically spat.

"Its not my fault you hadn't been able to avoid it." He said with a little shrug and sat at his desk. I sat at my desk which was across from his and glared at him.

"Yeah well if I can't have more kids Hermione'll kill –"

"SIRIUS!" I jumped up from my desk as if I had been shocked. Neville was running across the Auror office panting desperately. Harry and Ron looked up from their game of Wizard's Chess in surprise.

"Neville -?" I started but was cut off.

"Hermione – went into – labor!"

"Bloody hell!" What to do? I turned towards my desk then back to Neville confused. My mind seemed slow and sluggish. My stomach jolted in pain and I froze. Was I able to feel her contractions? Why hadn't I noticed before?

"Sirius, take the day off and go to her." Head Auror Dawlish said practically pushing me out the door. I nodded and ran to the closest fireplace and floo to St. Mungo's. The welcome witch absently said that Hermione had been admitted to her old room on the fifth floor she had had after the final battle. I started towards the elevator but froze when my stomach felt like it was twisting and turning inside of me. Merlin that hurt.

My mind was foggy as I made my way to the fifth floor. I ran down the corridor and opened the door with so much force it hit the wall.

"FFFUUUCCCKKK!" Hermione groaned between gritted teeth her eyes squeezed shut. Molly was holding onto her had who was telling her to breathe properly.

"Remember what they said in your birthing classes. He-he whooo, he-he whooo." Hermione tried to copy what Molly was doing but threw back her head and let out another groan from the back of her throat.

"Sirius!" Molly said in surprise. One of Hermione's eyes snapped open and she turned to me. Even though her hair was a sweaty, curly mess and the fact the Hermione was in obvious pain she had never looked more beautiful to me.

"What did the Healers say?" I asked crossing the room to sit next to Hermione and pulled her hand into mine.

"Just that she seems to be dilating much more quickly than most first time mothers." As if on cue Hermione gripped my hand in a vice-like grip and grit her teeth making a deep guttural moan from the back of her throat.

"Did Hermione have castor oil or did you two do anything physical?" I flushed and dropped my head against the bed. How could we have forgotten that anything sexual would induce labor?

"Oops." I muttered. Hermione slowly relaxed her grip on my hand and I looked up at her.

"Sirius, how could you two forget?!" Molly asked, surprised.

"I just did! It happens..." I growled darkly.

"Well because you two messed around Hermione went into early labor!" Molly snapped as if she couldn't help herself.

"She's only three days early, Molly, its not that bad." I practically spat.

"OOOhhhh!" Hermione moaned rolling her head back and forth against the pillow. My stomach jolted again and I let out a little moan of pain. "You are never touching me AGAIN!"

I stiffened at Hermione's tone but Molly laughed. "I think I'll go check if Emily is here with Severus."

The moment she stepped out the door Hermione started to cry softly. "It huuuurts."

I wiped my finger against her cheek, erasing her tears. "I know, Sweetheart, I can feel it."

"Good!" She spat. Then she stiffened and gasped sharply. I could feel her stomach lurching. Merlin we needed a Healer now!

"Molly!" I yelled as Hermione tightened her hand around my own. Merlin she was strong! The door opened and Molly came running in. "We need a Healer now!"

An hour and a half later. After pain, cursing, groaning and yelling Hermione Black pushed my son into the world. He was absolutely perfect with a thick head of black hair and dark blue eyes. Molly said that his eyes would probably change but I hoped not.

Severus and Emily quietly walked into the room looking at the bundle in my arms. Hermione had fallen asleep a little bit ago ant to be perfectly honest I could hardly blame her. I had only been able to feel her echos of pain which hadn't been as painful as hers.

"A boy?" Emily asked frowning. "But I wanted a little sister."

"I know, Honey, but he will be a wonderful addition to our family." Emily paused and thought about that for a moment.

"Maybe..." She said shrugging.

"What's his name?" Severus asked softly.

"Regulus, Regulus James Black." Severus blinked in surprise and looked up slowly.

"After your brother." It wasn't a question.

"Yes... and there's one other thing." Severus raised his eyebrow in question. "Would you be his godfather?"

Severus froze in shock, his eyes widening. He blinked slowly then nodded. "Of course."
