AN: There will be a lot of updates in the days coming up to Christmas. Just a little warning. Once again anything you recognize is JK Rowling's anything you don't is mine.

Sirius POV

"So what do you plan to do while our wives are away?" I asked as Harry placed his twin sons into the play pen. At eight months old James and Albus were twice as bad as Regulus or Liam ever were. It was as if James Senior had been reincarnated into his grandchildren. And the funny thing was that both of them had brilliant red hair and bright green eyes.

"I'll figure something out." Harry said shrugging.

"I don't know, mate, it can be really hard." Ron said bouncing a screaming Pandora in his arms. She was only three months old and had separation anxiety from Luna.

"You, obviously have no idea what you're doing Weasley." Draco drawled glancing at his son, Scorpius, who was sleeping peacefully in his rock'n'play.

Remus suddenly walked through the door holding Teddy's hand. "Why don't you go play with the trucks?"

Teddy quickly made his way over to the Muggle toys and sat down. He glanced over at Regulus who was building a tower out of blocks.

"Ughhh, they haven't even left yet and I'm tired." Remus growled darkly.

Neville looked up from the book he had been reading. "You guys really should be grateful you can have kids."

Ron shifted uncomfortably and Remus made a face before looking out the window. After a moment of awkward silence I finally said. "Neville, you don't know for sure that you can't have kids."

Neville looked at me bleakly before changing the subject. "Has anyone heard from Severus since he and Rosmerta left on their honeymoon?"

"Yes." Remus and I said at the same time. Severus, Remus and I were close ever since Severus had been released from St. Mungo's.

"They should be back by the end of next week." I said absently watching Liam as he walked across the room on unsteady legs towards one of his stuffed animals.

"Good," Neville said with a laugh. "I never thought I would say this but he is a great guy."

Harry and Ron both snorted with laughter while Draco rolled his eyes. "Well he is and he has a great sense of -"

"SON OF A BITCH!" I jumped up automatically.

"Hermione?" I called running out into the hallway. Her voice had sounded distant which meant she had to be in our room. I ran up the steps and threw open the door to our room. She wasn't anywhere to be seen but then I heard her. The unmistakeable sound of being sick.

"Hermione?" I knocked gently on the door but all I heard was a groan. "Hermione?"

"Go away!" And then there was the sound of her dry heaving. I forced open the door and froze my heart pounding in my chest. On the counter was a pregnancy test. I took a step closer and smiled.

"Don't you dare smile Sirius!" Hermione spat pushing herself up from the toilet. Tears were streaking down her cheeks and she wiped them away roughly.

"Sweetheart, you know I love kids." I said wrapping an arm around her shoulder. She nodded and blew her nose on some toiler paper. "And I know you do too." She nodded again. "But then what's the problem?"

"I...I'm not sure. I think I was afraid you would be upset." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Well I'm perfectly happy that I got you pregnant. Again." I said with a smirk. "Something masculine inside of me enjoys watching you swell with my child."

"Sirius." Hermione muttered rolling her eyes.

"No really there is." I said with a smile. "Besides now we can shag anytime we want."

Hermione threw back her head and laughed.

Emily walked into the dining room her hair braided back and her makeup perfection. She was planning on leaving to be with her boyfriend Nigel after dinner. Sirius and I both liked Nigel much better than Dennis and we both had a feeling it would only be a matter of time till we heard wedding bells.

Regulus was talking to Sirius about the picture book they head read earlier and I placed a handful of cheerios in front of Liam.

"What time do you think you'll leave and how long do you think you'll stay there?" I asked darting a look at Emily as she sat down. She flicked her braid over her shoulder and bit her lip.

"I'm not completely sure. After all this is the first time I'm meeting his parents." Emily blushed and ducked her head. "We've been dating for eight months so he thought it would be a good idea to get to know his family."

"Well don't be out too late you know what your father's like." I said taking a bite of ham.

Emily POV

I held Regulus against my side as he slept. Mum had gone into labor five hours ago and had been having a hard time with the baby. I had finally sent a letter to Nigel begging him to come because I was a nervous wreck and couldn't stop shaking.

Someone tapped my arm and I looked up slowly. Uncle Severus smiled and slowly kneeled next to me. "Hows it going?"

"Not good." I muttered shaking my head. "And no one will tell me anything!"

"I'm sure they're just trying to make sure that they don't upset you." Uncle Severus said smiling. His eyes drifted over to where Regulus was sleeping in his footy pajamas and deftly pulled him into his arms. Regulus moaned then fell back to sleep.

"I'm going to brink him back to my house so Rosmerta can take care of him then I'll be right back okay?" I nodded numbly and watched him walk away with my little brother.

I strained to hear anything from mum's room but they must have silenced it because I couldn't hear a peep. Hearing mum scream had messed with my head. How could she possibly be willing to go through something like this? It sounded like it hurt and to be perfectly honest I had no idea how a baby could come out of such a small –

"Emily?" I jumped and looked up. Nigel was standing in front of me, his blue eyes glazed with sleep and his strawberry blond hair a complete mess, but I had never been so happy to see him in my life.

"Nigel!" I threw myself at him and wrapped my arms around his neck. His arms wrapped around my waist and he nuzzled his head against my neck. A shiver raced down my spine and I hummed.

"Any news?" He asked pulling away from me.

"Nothing yet and its driving me bananas!" Nigel snorted and led me over to the bench I had been sitting on.

"Well, how about I take your mind off of everything and we talk about something else?" Nigel asked entwining his fingers with mine.

"Like what?" I asked leaning my head against his shoulder.

"Like your plans after Hogwarts." Nigel said playing with my fingers. I smiled and looked up slowly.

"Well I want to follow my mum into the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures." I said brightly.

Nigel stiffened in shock. "Really? I didn't know that."

"Yeah, I want there to be a better world for magical creatures. The way they are treated is horrendous!" I said emphatically.

"But I thought you have a house-elf..." Nigel said slowly in confusion.

"Oh we do but Dobby gets paid and also gets one day a week off." I said quickly. Dobby was the sweetest little elf I had ever met. And I had met a lot of elves ever since I had snuck out Uncle Harry's map of the school that Daddy had made.

"Well that's a good thing." Nigel said awkwardly. Most people didn't know what to say when I said our house-elf got paid.

"Yeah anyway lets talk about something else." I said kissing Nigel's fingers.

"Like what?" He asked huskily against my ear. A shiver raced down my spine and I looked up at him slowly.

"I think I'm ready to take the next step in our relationship." I whispered placing a kiss against his neck.

He groaned softly in the back of his throat. "Oh Emily..."

The door behind us slammed open and Nigel and I jumped up taking a step away from each other. Daddy came rushing out a large smile on his face. "Its a girl!"
