Barnabas Collins: (narrating) My name is Barnabas Collins. 200 years ago, I was cursed with eternal vampirism and gifted immortality. I hid away from the world, vowing never to interfere. But as the world grew, sin and crime grew rampant, I decided something had to be done. I would create and assemble a task force of some of the most strongest and heroic people on the planet and in the universe. People like me; outcasts, misfits, strangers, men dressed as bats, men who could fly, women who could wield lassos to tell the truth, a man with no head, a headstrong loyal cowboy, a brave Greek warrior, others with the same skills. What's different about us? We may break the rules, we may cause mayhem and chaos everywhere we go, we may accept money after saving the world, we may even kill bad guys just because they're too bad for this world, but the real reason is: we're a team, all and all. Sure you other hero teams may get in a civil war, lose all your mutant powers in one day, and have one of your own betray you and build an artificial intelligence running amok, we don't care. We help each other get over our differences and use them to help others. We watch over this world and the next, keeping the balance between order and chaos. So call us crazy, call us outlaws, call us loose cannons, call us whatever you like. But we are the best, last and only line of defense when all the superhero teams are in trouble or if there's a much greater threat too hard for them to handle. We live forever, we ride forever, and we fight evil forever. Bad boys for life. I am Barnabas Collins, this is my squad Task Force Z. we are assembled. We are prepared. And we await our arrival. So when all other good guys cower and run away when the bad guys get even badder, then you better call in the badasses.
