Phil's POV

I need to see Dan. It kills me knowing that he is just one wall away and I am unable to see him.

"Ph...Phil?" I hear Dan's perfect voice say.

"Dan!" I yelled but I still sounded weak

"I had to see you, I couldn't live knowing you were next door to me and I couldn't see you," I told him.

"I love you so much Dan," I said smiling.

"I love you too," he replied.

"That is the first time I've believed it when someone has told me that I said to him.

"You deserve so much better Phil," I said, "Why don't you move in with me?!"

"I can't just move in Dan what your parents say?" I told him sadly.

"They wouldn't care please Phil," he said.

"Fine," I said but I couldn't help but wonder if they would really want some depressed 16 year old kid in the house.

"You can move into my room," Dan said, "I have a double bed," he then winked.

I reached out to hit him playfully but I couldn't reach so I gave up.

"Dan, why did you pick me?" I asked.

"Phil, your so nice and caring your the funniest person I've ever met, I love your eyes they are the best shade of blue and they twinkle in the sun, your smile can brighten up a hurricane, I know that from past experience, I know people say that it is impossible to be perfect but I swear you are, I love you so much Phil and nothing will ever change that," he said.

I felt honored that he thought so highly of me, "Dan... I," I said lost for words.

He smiled sheepishly, "I'm not very good at mushy stuff."

"Dan, that was the best mushy stuff that has ever been said to anyone in the world and you are perfect I am far from it," I said sadly but I knew it was true.

"Phil you are the most perfect person on earth and never let anyone say anything different," Dan said.

Once again I was at loss for words so simply I just said, "thank you." the most simple words ever.

"For what?" he asked confused.

"Everything, everything you've ever said to me, everything you've ever done for me and for just being you , you are perfect as you are Dan, as your own person, and I love you for that," I said smiling.

"Now look who's good at the mushy stuff," Dan said chuckling.

"Phil Lester?" a doctor, who had just entered the room, said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You are well enough to be discharged tomorrow, Mr Howell may I ask you to leave now," the doctor said then walked out.

"That's great news!" Dan said.

"Yes, but you have to leave me," I said.

"It doesn't matter, I'll be here first thing tomorrow and I'll get you out of this place!" Dan said and I smiled, for the first time someone actually cared.
