~Diez Espada Gate~
Kuchiki kept an eye on the doorway till the rest of the attack party had moved on. Then he turned his full attention to the duo between him and Zaraki. They seemed far to comfortable between the two.
"Well brother this is a fine mess you have put us in." Antoinette laid her head down on her twin's shoulder. "Whatever are we going to do?"
Antonio rolled his eyes and huffed at his sister's dramatics. "I don't know. Perhaps we could feed them to the pets?" He blew a strand of pink hair out of his face. "They have been quite hungry lately."
"But they have already been killing them." Antoinette frowned as she flicked her brother's head. She suddenly perked up. Jumping up over a sudden barrage of pink petals with her brother in tow. "I know what we can do!"
Antonio shot a grand of string towards the ceiling for them to hang from for a moment. He then shot off another to swing them away from more petals and the large beast they called a Taichou. "And what would that be dear sister?"
Antoinette giggled as she and her brother landed on the ground. "Easy, we used Fred and Tilda!"
Both Taichou's raised their eyebrows at the names. Then grew slightly confused as a large blue spider and pink scorpion crawled into the room. They then looked to the Espada, wondering if this was really their plan.
"You two are ridiculous. And this is a god-damn waste of time." Zaraki drawled out as the two creatures crawled towards them. "And you are useless, flower-boy."
Kuchiki raised an eyebrow at the brute beside him. "I believe I have done more in this battle than you have, Neanderthal."
Zaraki glared at the man beside him. "You got a problem with that, pretty-boy? And I could deal with both of these idiots myself."
"Hey! That's my idiot brother you're talking about!" Antoinette growled out as she got on top of Tilda.
Antonio pouted at his sister as he sat on Fred's head. "That's mean sis! And we're twins! So if I'm an idiot so are you!"
"We aren't the idiots, idiot. They are!" Antoinette giggled as Tilda brought her tail up, charging a cero. "No one can stand against the Carivore twins."
A large pink cero formed at the end of the tail. Neither Taichou moved, thinking the other would do something. But someone else stepped in. "Hado 31: Shakkaho!" One of the legs of the scorpion blew up and the creature fell. Throwing the cero into the wall.
Both men looked over to see a red haired man near the entrance of the room. A pink haired girl clinging to his back. "HI KEN-CHAN!" Yachiru called happily from Pineapple's back. He was almost as fast as Ken-chan.
"YOU HURT TILDA!" Antoinette glared at the two new comers. "DIE!" She threw a deep pink cero in their direction. It may have been small, but it reached them faster than they could have blinked. And it was still a strong cero. Their cries of pain made Antoinette smile and laugh. "How do you think Tilda felt, bastards?!"
Kenpachi was over and searching for Yachiru in the dust cloud. "Yachiru? Oi, brat!" He called as the dust started settling.
"Ken-chan?" A small voice spoke a few feet from him. He made his way over to the bleeding girl that was sitting up. "I'm fine. It's just a scratch." Yachiru gave Ken-chan a smile. She didn't like it when he worried about her. He always looked so sad. "Is Pinapple okay?"
"Abarai seems to be out of this fight." Kuchiki stood up from checking his Fukutaichou. Abarai had been knocked out, but his injuries did not appear to be life threatening. "Let's finish-"
"Damn right this is ending!" Zaraki raised his reiatsu before launching a sword pressure at the pink haired bitch.
Antoinette ducked under the swing and giggled. "Did I hit a soft spot, Ken-chan?" She giggled louder when she saw a dark look come over his face. "I think we should start taking them seriously now. Wouldn't want Aizen-sama to be interrupted." She looked back at her brother with a smile.
Antonio nodded as he brought his katana up. "Then let's show them what we can do. Crawl, Aranya." Smoke came up form the spider beneath him as it collapsed into itself.
"Crawl, Alacran." A similar event happened with Antoinette and the scorpion she stood on.
As the dust and smoke cleared the Espada stood in their Ressureccion form. Antonio now sported 8 blue eyes on his face and a pair of fangs. His feet were bare and his hands holding a whip with a spike on it's end. Antoinette also sported a pair of fangs and a naginata in her hands, but it was the barbed tail that drew all the attention. And more creepy crawlers were showing up around them.
"Time for a feast brother." Antoinette licked her lips as she spun her weapon lazily.
Antonio smiled with his sister. "They certainly look tasty. Can I have the pink haired one? You know how much I like women best." He smirked as the behemoth stepped in front of the injured girl protectively. They would enjoy this fight.
~Noveno Espada Gate~
Primrose looked towards the two shinigami. The room was at her favorite temperature, -9° F. "I'm surprised. I didn't think shinigami could stand the cold." She eyed the two curiously. One had pure white hair, much like her own. The other seemed to give of the effect of being cold. But she wasn't doing it very well.
"I have never felt the cold." Hitsugaya adjusted the grip on his zanpakutou. This child was dangerous. He noticed Kuchiki-Fukutaichou renewing her focus as well. "Surrender Espada."
"It's pointless." Primrose looked at them passively. "I am alone. I have always been alone. And you both will die feeling the same empty cold that I feel." She raised her hand towards them. Pulling spikes of ice in their directions as they jumped around.
Hitsugaya was not enjoying all this jumping. He quickly cut a spike down to give himself a chance to breath. "Hyorinmaru!" Another ice dragon sprouted from the end of his sword. If she wanted to challenge him at his own element, he would show her how powerful he was.
Rukia easily avoided the ice spikes till she had a clear sight of the Espada. "Tsugi no mai, Hakuren!" A wave of ice shot at the child, but split in half around her.
"This won't do at all." Primrose looked at the two shinigami. They looked so comfortable and familiar with the ice around them. "This is my solitude. Ice is MY only friend." She felt a cold tear fall form her eye slowly. "No one else can have it. Freeze, Huaico."
The temperature of the room dropped dramatically. Rukia watched as her breath turned to snow and fell to her feet. She quickly regrouped with Hitsugaya-Taichou once the air started circling around where Primrose was standing. "What should we do?"
Hitsugaya watched as the air condensed around the Espada's position. "We find a weakness. Ice is our element as well. We use that advantage. Bankai should be our last resort. Especially yours." He got a nod from the Fukutaichou before returning his gaze to the ball of cold air that seemed to have stopped moving. "Get ready."
The ball of cold air fell to the ground and spread out at Primrose's feet. She was taller now, taller then the two shinigami she was against. She didn't like her released form much, she looked like an adult. Her long white hair was braided behind her and reached her waist. The only think that stayed the same was her dress. Though it only reached halfway down her thigh and her sleeves only just reached her elbow. But otherwise it still flared out and went to her neck.
She looked up at the shinigami. "Now you shall become ice."
The shinigami tensed as the Espada vanished before them. Hearing a scraping sound behind them, they turned just in time to avoid an attack. Then she vanished again.
"How is she moving so fast?" Rukia looked at the ground. It was solid ice and slippery even for her.
Toshiro bent down and felt the ice, it had two grooves in it. "She is skating." He stated as he stood, turned and blocked the Espada. Getting pushed back along the ice.
"Very good, Taichou. But that doesn't help you." Primrose created another ice blade in her other hand. "Now you die-" She was surprised when the Taichou suddenly got footing to push her back and off her feet with. "What?!" She spotted something on the ground at the Taichou's feet. "Sand?"
"Ash actually." A blonde haired woman with an hourglass figure spoke as she walked on a trail of ash from Haineko. "You ready Karin-chan?" The room suddenly began to grow warmer, still below freezing, but warmer than before.
"Hai!" Primrose spun around and spotted who the woman had spoken to. She had black hair tied back in a ponytail and a red sash around the waist of her shiniagmi uniform. She could also see the doorway that led deeper into Los Noches has a hole that was frozen and looked like melted wax. "Just had to let the others pass." Karin gave the white woman a glare as she laid her zanpakutou on her shoulder. "Now then, what were you about to do to my boyfriend?"
~Septima Espada Gate~
Rose picked himself up and cracked his back. "What the hell did I land on?"
"Me you idiot." Kensei threw the blond off of him as he got up. He had been heading back towards the door when Rose had crashed into him. "Did you seriously get hit by the door after watching it hit me?"
"No. A vine caught me by surprise." Rose rubbed his neck as he stood up. "You think we should take care of the Espada here?"
Kensei shrugged in response. "I hope it has nothing to do with these plants." He stomped on a vine that was creeping towards his foot.
"Well that was mean." Both Taichous turned around as they tried to spot the Espada. "But you don't have to worry your pretty little heads. This jungle is only for my enjoyment and pleasure." The woman's voice laughed as it circled around them. "But I do like keeping my jungle lush. And the jungle thanks me with it's loyalty."
"You make it sound like it's alive." Kensei drew his sword as he tried to sense where the woman was. It was hard with the dense green around them.
More laughter sounded around them till it came from directly behind them. "It is." Both shinigami jumped away from her and stood on guard. "And it is about to get a good fertilizing." The Espada flipped her long green hair over her shoulder. "Litalon Rosetta, Septima Espada."
"Septima? Guess we skipped one somewhere." Kensei frowned wondering what happened to the 8th Espada. He shifted his eyes over to Rose. "I'll take the left."
Rose returned a subtle nod as he kept his eyes on the Espada. His hand slowly shifting towards the hilt of his zanpakutou. Once his hand reached it, they were on the move.
Rosetta smiled as the shinigami moved towards her. "You should be more careful." The vines came up around her, blocking the blades trying to hit her. She met the blonde man's eyes before vines wrapped around him, their mouths opening to eat their prey.
Rose tried moving to cut the vines, but his arms were being held by said vines. And they were strong. "Help?"
Kensei sighed as he went off to help Rose. "Blow it Away, Tachikaze!" He launched air cords towards the man, aiming to avoid hitting him.
Rose sighed as the vines fell off of him. He moved out of the way of anymore vines. "That was close." He leaned his head to the side, frowning when his hair didn't fall over his face. His hand went up to his head and felt his hair, it had been cut short. "You cut my hair!" He looked over at Kensei with a surprised face.
Kensei shrugged. "There was a vine." He saw Rose look mournfully at his hair. "It'll grow back. Or would you rather be eaten by a salad?"
Rosetta laughed loudly at the two men. "Here I was thinking you two would be a challenge. But this is far too entertaining." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Maybe I'll keep you two around. For my own enjoyment." She gave them both a wink, smirking as they both shivered. She brought her hand up and caught a foot that was coming down at her. "Now what are you doing, bug?" She narrowed her eyes at the green haired girl.
"Let her go." Rosetta looked over. Another blond shinigami had his blade against her neck.
She smirked as she noticed his lip beginning to shake. "What do you think you are doing?" Her lips turned into a sneak as her free arm came up and grabbed onto the man's throat. She threw the girl, that had been trying to kick er self free to no avail, into a nearby cluster of plants. Then brought her attention back to the blond in her other hand. "Now then, where were we?" She growled out as she began closing her hand around his neck.
"Reap, Kazeshini!" The woman saw a blur of something come towards her. It angled away from her and towards the blonde. Then turned again and sliced through half of her wrist. Causing her to hiss in pain and drop the blonde.
"Nice job Hisagi." Kensei set Mashiro down on her feet besdie his second Fukutaichou. He looked back over at the hissing woman. She had fangs that were showing. "Looks like we have a snake to deal with."
Rosetta laughed at the man's statement. "And you jusst angered this one." She pulled a whip off her hip and wrapped it around her legs. "Hiss, Víbora." The dust settled to reveal Rosetta, now with a snake body from the hips down. "Thissss issss going to be fun. Sssso pleasssse don't dissssapoint me." She laughed as they all seemed to tense a bit as the jungle around them began to grow restless. "The more power you use, the more food they get."
~Sixta Espada Gate~
Shinji let the kido in his hand fade. No point in giving the Espada a beacon to follow. Plus he had never been scared of the dark. He just didn't like not seeing things. Like the lump on the floor he nearly tripped over.
'What the?' Shinji knelt down to inspect the lump on the floor. It had Cotten clothing on, several layers. It had short hair, that was also really soft. And it had two swords in it's hands. 'I guess this would be our resident strawberry powerhouse.' He gave the man a firm nudge, then pinch, then punch in the face.
"What the-" Ichigo began shouting before a hand covered his mouth. He tried blinking to try and get his sight back, but it seemed he was in pitch blackness. Then he remembered where they were. 'I guess we're taking care of this guy. Whoever I'm with. Knowing my luck it's Shinji.'
"Keep it down Ichigo." Shinji whispered, but even a whisper sounded too loud in this eerie silence. "We don't know what this guy is capable of."
"I'm capable of this." The voice spoke before a heavy gust of wind threw both men up into the air. "I am Baxtalar Bartholomew, Sixta Espada."
"So you replaced Grimmjow." Ichigo cracked his neck as he loosened his tensed muscles. "Must say, you're not as intimidating."
Shinji moved away from Ichigo as he felt the air shift. A kido sprang to life in his hand in an instant. He caught sight of Bartholomew's face as he rounded himself to attack him. Shinji put out the light in favor of rolling away and dragging Ichigo away while keeping him silent.
Shinji let out a laugh that seemed to bounce of the walls like Bartholomew had earlier. "I see what you've done. You've sown your eyes shut. Don't know why. But the darkness is your home turf." He just managed to avoid the Espada's attacks before continuing. "You're just making it easier for you. So your power is sound based correct?" He ducked away from another attack, getting hit by a bit of debris.
A deep chuckle resonated around the room. "Aizen-sama did not exaggerate at your brilliance, Hirako-Taichou."
"I don't know if I want a compliment from Aizen." Shinji scooted along a wall that he had found. Hoping The Espada would run into it when he dodged, or kept away because he knew Shinji would do just that.
"I wonder if it was even meant as a compliment." Ichigo was glad he had found his way over to the other Taichou. He was not a fan of being in the dark.
"Everything Aizen-sama says is a compliment." Bartholomew's voice bounced around the walls. "This labyrinth of darkness is my domain. It is here where you will remain. It is here where you will die."
"Ya know we ain't afraid of the dark right?" Shinji took a step away form the wall. "We've seen much scarier things." He spun around and smirked as he caught a fist heading for his chest. "And neither of us need our eyes too see. It just takes us some time to adjust."
Shinji grunted a bit as a foot connected with his stomach. "Did you see that?" Shinji picked himself up only to have a body thrown at him.
"This isn't working." Ichigo picked himself up slowly. "Everytime I start getting used to the dark it changes." He cracked his neck loudly.
"You know he uses echolocation right?" Shinji sometimes wondered how Ichigo survived some of his fights. He turned and caught a fist heading for his head.
Bartholomew was impressed both men had been able to block him. The younger of the two had yet to do such a thing. "I use more than my ears to see." He pushed the two apart from each other. Together they seemed to be more organized.
Shinji stood still and listened intently. "You don't say." He slowly drew his zanpakutou. "Then why don't I take it away? Collapse, Sakanade."
"Ah, Sakanade. A zanpakutou that inverts all the senses." Bartholomew was unimpressed, he knew all about his opponents and their abilities. "It will not help you."
"I know, you have a mastery over your senses." Shinji smirked widely in the dark. "But while you focus on me, you don't pay much attention to Ichigo over there."
Bartholomew looked around the room with his senses, the other shinigami had vanished. "It is pointless. Your fate was sealed once you stepped into my domain. Unlike the others, I am always in Ressurection. I am undefeatable."
"Oh really?" Bartholomew looked around trying to find the source of the double toned voice. "I've heard that before you know. Protect, Zangetsu!"
Bartholomew was a bit startled, it felt like an Espada just released their Ressureccion. "So you have an Arrancar in your ranks that we were unaware of. No matter, they do not stand up to an Espada."
Ichigo let out a laugh from beneath his mask. "Why don't I show you my power?" He charged a cero at the end of his finger, it gave off a bright black and red glow. He laughed as Bartholomew's face turned to surprise, and maybe a bit of fear. "This is how I took down Aizen's strongest Espada. Now it will bring you down."
~Cuatro Espada Gate~
Yorichi looked around curiously. The jungle was thick and a tangled mess. She could not see the enemy, nor could she sense him. It was frustrating her to no end. "You see anything Kisuke?" She asked the man walking below her on the ground.
Kisuke looked up at the Shihoin Princess. "Nothing. Just vines, leaves, and jungle." He sighed in the heavy air. "Can you see Nemu anywhere?" His Fukutaichou had been attacked and dragged away from their little group. So far they had had no contact with her. Or anyone else.
Yorichi looked around once more. She didn't see the attacker behind her, but she sensed the attack. Spinning around she grabbed the wrist of the hand coming at her and planted her feet onto the chest, throwing the person over her and into a small clearing on the ground.
Kisuke tensed as the person turned to him and snarled. The man had dirt brown hair in short curls around his forest green eyes. A white mask covered his face over his nose and around his head. The Arrancar turned and fled into the jungle.
"You both certainly live up to your reputations." A voice came from the tangle mess of jungle.
Yorichi caught glimpses of the hollow as he moved. "And you live up to yours, Arrancar." She slowly dropped down to the ground beside Kisuke. "I think we found our Espada."
A laugh rang out around them. "Correct, Shihoin Yorichi. I am the Cuatro Espada, Montino Tulio. Welcome to my playground." Leaves fell around them, but they held still. "You can not bait me here. I am the predator, you are my prey."
Kisuke felt a tingling at his neck. Turning he caught the claw of the Espada with his zanpakutou. Getting pushed away by the force into a tangle of vines.
Yorichi was able to keep her footing as the Espada locked blades with her. "So you came out of hiding." She tried to push the Espada back, he was strong.
"Shakkaho." A deadpan voice came from the side of Yorichi and Tulio. Nemu pushed the red ball into the Hollow's side, shooting him off into the jungle. "He got away."
Yorichi chuckled at the girl's observation. "You hit him though."
Nemu walked over to her Taichou and helped him get untangled from the vines. "It was just a graze. Nothing serious."
"Stop being hard on yourself Nemu." Kisuke patted his Fukutaichou's shoulder.
"I will try." Nemu stood still with her hands in front of her.
Kisuke sighed at his Fukutaichou's actions. He thought he was slowly removing Mayuri's influence and teaching from her. But it looked like his absence had an effect.
"I did not know you had a hunter with you." Tulio growled out as he watched the shinigami. "She had no killing intent. How?" He glared at the black haired woman.
Nemu looked around trying to find the Espada. "I have no emotion. Mayuri-sama saw no use for them."
"Mayuri-sama?" Tulio spoke before stopping on a perch that was above them.
Kisuke tried to focus and find the hollow, but the jungle was so full of life, it was disorientating to his senses. "Not anyone you will ever meet. He died some years ago."
"Too bad." Tulio fell down among the shinigami. Cutting around before sneaking between legs and back into the forest. "Maybe he would have been more of a challenge."
Yorichi growled under her breath. This guy was annoying. But something around her distracted her for a moment. "Where did Nemu go?" She noticed Kisuke look around for the woman as well. Then shrugged in response.
A strangle cry sounded before a body hit the ground near them. Tulio rolled out of the way as the black haired woman dropped down to where he had just laid. "Here, Yorichi-sama." Nemu looked over towards the hollow. He seemed upset with her.
Tulio growled as he drew his sword from his boot. "I will not be hunted by some weak little brat! Seek, Leopardo!" His grin grew as his form returned to his more lethal form. "You all should have just played along and been my prey. Then I may have lost interest in you." He jumped up and vanished into the jungle. "You know...in a week or two."
~Tres Espada Gate~
The area before the gate grew quiet as the remaining group moved on to the next gate. The Espada continued to sit in lotus position while the two shinigami Taichou eyed him suspiciously. "It does not matter if they reach Aizen-sama or not. Aizen-sama will win in the end." The Tres Espada looked over at the shinigami calmly. "And you shall not defeat me either. I am the most durable Espada that has ever existed. I can withstand any attack."
"We shall see about that!" Komamura shouted as he attacked. His strike hit the Espada's shoulder, but no damage was done. "What?"
"I told you. Nothing can pass through my heirro." The Espada pushed the shinigami's sword off of his shoulder with his bare hand. "I am the Tres Espada, Florelle Oliver. Neither of you shall live beyond this point."
Sui Feng darted forward quickly and landed two hits on the Espada. She looked back and was stunned when she saw no mark where she had hit. "That's impossible."
Oliver chuckled at the woman's shock. "That did not even tickle."
"Bankai!" Komamura growled in fury at the Espada's mockery. "Kokujo Tengen Myo'o." He was mildly surprised his Bankai fit inside the room they were in, but returned his focus back to the battle at hand.
"What a large Bankai." Oliver calmly observed from his still sitting position. "It won't make a difference. Size does not matter if it is not strong enough." He chuckled as he watched the Taichou's rage grow as he attacked. He chuckled again as the sword rested on his shoulder, doing nothing but sit there.
The two Taichous were stunned. Nothing was effecting the Espada.
"Are you both done yet?" Oliver asked as he looked above him. "So you do have Arrancar in your ranks." He commented as the two figures continued on to the Primera Gate. "A ram and a shark. I have neither in my collection. I will have to ask Spatsin for their heads later."
"Crush, Gegetsuburi!" A large black spiked ball fell down towards Oliver. It bounced off the top of his head and smashed into the ground. Oliver looked up and noticed a rather large shinigami staring at him in disbelief.
"Sorry for the delay, Taichou." Oliver looked over and saw a man with sunglasses stand beside the dog.
"It is alright, Iba." Komamura looked from his Fukutaichou back to the Espada. "It seems he is meant to delay us here."
"That is correct." Oliver had a bit of a smile on his face. Fights were always more enjoyable when your opponent was intelligent. "And now I shall delay you further." He placed both his hands down on the floor. "Harden, Tortuga." The ground shook as the wall rose up, blocking off both exits. "You are now trapped. And your companions are cut off. This is the only path to your destination." Oliver looked over at the tensed shinigami. "Try all you wish. None have ever escaped my prison."
~Primera Espada Gate~
Starrk kept and eye on the Espada before him. The man had been a pain in his side ever since Aizen had created him. Back then he wasn't allowed to do anything against him. But now they were on opposite sides.
Belgone laughed at the two Espada facing him. "Isn't this a sight to behold? Hollows working with shinigami. And not just any hollows, the former Primera and Sixta Espada." He laughed again as he drew his sword. "To think you were both in Aizen-sama's original army. What a shame you both fell so far."
"This is far more acceptable than working for Aizen." Starrk eyed the man as he spun his sword in his hand. There was a good chance he was about to release.
Belgone shook his head. "Nothing is better than working for a God."
"Aizen is no God." Starrk brought a gun up and fired at the Espada.
Belgone danced around the many ceros. "This is pitiful Starrk. I'm much stronger than you. You're nothing but a fossil."
Grimmjow smirked as he got beside the Espada. "Then try this." He lifted his bloody palm up to Belgone's surprised face. "Gran Rey Cero." The over powered cero shot at the man and crashed into the wall. Bringing a few of it's layers crashing to the ground.
Starrk shook his head as the panther reappeared beside him. "You really shouldn't release one of those inside. We actually want to have a base after this."
Grimmjow just shrugged. "Not the first time I've done it."
"I know." Starrk sighed as he turned his attention back to where Belgone had been. He doubted the Espada was dead.
"Pay attention." Both men spun around as Belgone charged at them. Only to get knocked away by a smoke wolf.
"You're annoying." Lilynette shook her head. Changing into a wolf so suddenly always made her a bit dizzy. "Oi! Can we kill him already?"
Belgone began laughing as he picked himself up. He had to admit he did not see the wolf coming. "Looks like I can't fool around any more. You old timers should have just let the new kids run things. You're past your prime." He held his sword out in front of him, blade pointing to the ground. "Charge, Rinoceronte."
Starrk and Grimmjow watched as the Espada returned to his full power. His skin became grey as his heirro thickened. A large hammer was now held in his hand.
Belgone eyed the two Espada before him. Smirking thinking how much stronger he would be once he devoured them both. "Now I will kill you both." He brought his hammer up over his head, preparing for a charge.
Grimmjow smirked at the kid's overconfidence. "Go ahead and try, punk."
~Kyoraku and Ukitake~
Both men were really only half focused on their battle. But it didn't seem to make much of a difference in their fight. "Hold still damn it!" The brightly colored woman yelled as they avoided another attack once again. "And take me seriously! I'm the Sugenda Espada!"
"Sorry, but I'm just worried about my daughter." Shunsui gave the Espada a smile before ducking under a wave of feathers. "And I think you had more trouble with Lilynette-chan than this one. Ne, Juu-chan?"
Jushiro nodded as he side stepped a sword strike. "But to be fair she is technically the Primera Espada." He caught the woman's blade and threw her away. "And we have gotten stronger since then. Or at least I like to think so."
"I hate you both! Man I had far more fun with that orange haired bitch." Henrietta growled as she brought her sword up in front of her. She smirked as the pink dressed man suddenly glared at her. "Finally going to take me seriously, Soutaichou-san? Even your wife payed more attention than you. Dance, Pavo-" She chocked as a pain began spreading from her chest. She looked down and saw a sword buried to it's hilt. "...impossible..." She whispered quietly as her vision began to fade.
"That's for going near my Nanao-chan, Espada." Shunsui pulled his zanpakutou free and let the lifeless Espada hit the ground.
Jushiro walked up beside his friend. "Remind me never to anger you."
"Too late. You're dating my daughter." Shunsui sheathed his blade and walked towards the large double doors. "Let's go."
"What about Sakura?" Jushiro looked behind him as a large boom sounded from somewhere in the large room. "Should we help?"
Shunsui easily found his daughter's reiatsu, she seemed to be doing just fine. "This is her fight. That's the Espada that attacked her home in the human world."
Jushiro nodded, remembering the promise Sakura had made with herself to purify that Espada. So he turned and followed his friend through the large doors.
~With Sakura~
Sakura glared at the red haired man. He had taken her from her home, then he slaughtered them all. She would never forgive him. "You die here." She charged towards the Espada. He jumped up and onto a beam above them. "Come back here!"
Sakura jumped up and looked around for the Hollow. Not spotting him she walked around. The beams connected around in paths.
"So you wish to get revenge for your family?" Sakura spun around trying to find the Espada. "I commend you for you efforts. But you should know you aren't strong enough to take me on." Sakura kept out of the way as the Espada dropped down from the ceiling. "You should have stayed home little girl."
Sakura glared at the man as she stood to her full height. "I'm not a little girl." She held her zanpakutou in front of her as she stepped back into a shadow cast by another beam above her. "Open the sky and start a fire, Muso-ku." She ran her hand over her zanpakutou as the metal twisted and darkened. She walked out of the shadow with her shikai in hand.
"You used this before, but you didn't get a chance to truly use it." Henri examined the girl curiously. She was not as emotional as he thought she would be. "What makes you think you are on even ground to face me? Because of what you are? You are no more an adult than your infant brother."
Sakura glared at him as she stepped into shunpo. She growled as her blade clashed with Henri's. "I may not be over two decades old, but I am very experienced." She dropped to the floor and swiped Henri's feet out from under him.
Henri jumped back and landed in a crouch. He rolled away as the shinigami brought her zanpakutou down on the stop he was in. He jumped over another swipe of her scythe and up onto another beam level.
Sakura quickly followed after the Espada. She did not want to lose him again. "You don't seem to like close combat." She smirked as he glared at her mildly.
"I don't-" Henri stopped as he felt the swirl of reiatsu around the area. It was missing one. "Etta!" Henri cried out as he tried to find even a trace of his twin. He couldn't find one. "NO!"
Sakura covered her ears as Henri roared in rage and pain. 'Take him out now!' She looked over at Henri as Muso-ku spoke to her. He had tears streaming down his face and his hands clutching his head. IT was the most emotion she had ever see him show. 'Now before he releases!' Sakura would have, but the sound of his cry felt like it was tearing her eardrums apart.
Henri gasped for air and looked over at the shinigami. "You did this! You shinigami will pay!" He picked up his sword and held it above his head. "Dive, Halcon!"
Sakura stepped back into a defensive stance. This fight just got a whole lot harder.
~Aizen~
Aizen smiled down at the sleeping infant beside him. The child had whisks of black hair on top of his head. His pale skin glowed a light lavender, similar to the glowing ball above him. The ball was now about the size of a soccer ball. It was making great progress.
"Soon I shall have all the pieces." Aizen brushed a strand of hair away from the infants eyes. "Now, if you will excuse me Sora-kun, I have to deal with your father." Aizen turned and walked down the dais he was standing on. He reached the bottom as two men walked into the large room. "Welcome, Kyoraku-Soutaichou. And you as well, Ukitake-Taichou. How can I help you?"
Shunsui glared at the man. "You can start by returning my son." He slowly drew his swords. "Then you can surrender and order your Espada to stand down."
Aizen shook his head as he sighed. "I'm afraid that is impossible." He slid a hand into a pocket as the other went though his hair. "My Espada are occupying the rest of your attacking force. I would hate for them to interrupt something as delicate as my ascension."
"Still delusional about become God I see." Ukitake had followed his friends lead and had drawn his zanpakutou. "You will not succeed. We will stop you."
Aizen looked between the two men calmly as he walked towards them. "You both don't understand. I am on another level from the two of you." He smiled as they split up to surround him. "Although, you are correct in a manner." He looked over at Shunsui. "So I must thank you for bringing Sakura-chan back. I can't do this without her."
Done with this chapter! My gosh this was harder to write than I thought it would be. Surprisingly the hardest part was writing Kyoraku, Ukitake, and Sakura's parts.
And the fights will continue next chapter. Feel free to rage and fuss. You will still have to wait for the next chapter. Mostly because I am writing and posting as I go.
Please leave me a comment below. And please go and check out some of my other stories. Namely my preview story for 2017, and voting on the poll that goes with it. I have seriously had over 200 views on it and not a single vote. It's kind of sad actually.
Thank you all for sticking with the story. Through all of the pauses it has had and all that fun jazz. So thank you all and please enjoy the rest of this story. Once I finish writing it. I'm sorry for the continued wait. And this rather long author's note.
