(By the great wizard Gui Guae Guod)
The horned owl swooped in through the open window, and dropped the large brown package on the desk. It landed with a loud thump. Professor McGonagall, deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry frowned. She couldn't remember ordering any packages.
Feeling slightly annoyed, she opened the accompanying letter. Her eyes flicked back and forth as she read, and her annoyance quickly turned to alarm.
Dear Professor McGonagall,
My ward, Harry Potter, will not be attending Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. If he does, terrible things will happen. Read the books for further detail.
Sincerely,
The Prophet Chuck.
Quickly, McGonagall tore the brown paper of the package; presumably the books mentioned. Seven thick volumes were revealed. She picked up the first one with trembling hands. It was entitled, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by Carver Edlund.
