Summary
When Rachel walked into Callbacks one night, she meets a girl who takes her breath away and they begin to talk then they become friends that move in together at some point. What if Rachel soon realizes that she might having feelings for her after they move into the loft in Bushwick together.
Will they be just friends or will it grow into a romantic relationship. Rachel can be with a girl or guy in this story. She's not putting a label on it.
How will Kurt and Santana react to Rachel being with a girl? How will Finn be when he shows up months later?
Kurt will be in the Second chapter and in the story from now on. Santana will move in a little later into the story.
Rachel and OC romantic story with friendships on the side. I hope you all like this new story. Rated T in the beginning but it will change Rated M later into the story.
There is some Rachel and Meena moments in the next few chapters that will push Simone into asking Rachel to be her girlfriend. You'll just have to keep reading to see when that happens.

When Simone comes back with the food, she noticed that Rachel and Meena were playing a card game at the table while Kurt was sitting on the couch texting on the phone to his boss who he became friends with. She knew this was going to be a long night.
"Alright guys I got the food." The girls stopped playing when Rachel screams yes. She won the game.
"Babe don't scream. We have ears." Rachel stared at Simone blushes.
"Sorry but I totally beat Meena. Yay me." Simone glanced at Meena to see her pouting. She was proud of her girl or sort of girl for beating Meena. She had nothing against Meena was really nice and she's talked to her from time to time but she didn't like the fact that this girl was Rachel's girlfriend in the past.
It just made her fight harder to get Rachel to be hers.
"I'm happy for you babe but try not to scream." Rachel gets up walking over to her and wraps her arms around her. Simone smiles holding onto her.
"You hungry?" Rachel nods and starts to get her food. Simone stands behind her, holding her close.
Meena watched them awkwardly and glanced at Kurt who smiled at her. He knew why Meena was here and it wasn't just because she was interested in there movie night.
She wanted to win her way back into Rachel's heart romantically and to see how Simone and Rachel acted together.
"Get your food guys. So we can start this movie night." Rachel turned around in Simone's arms giggling and pushed her away gently.
"Kiss?" Simone whispers leaning into her. Rachel leans in aswell about to kiss her when Meena spoke.
"Come on you two some of us want food." Meena and Kurt get up pushing them out of the way.
They kissed while the two weren't looking. Simone got her food and sat down next to Rachel.
"What movie are we seeing first guys?"
"I picked Rent while you went to get the food, Meena and Rachel both agreed to watch it." Kurt tells her.
"Were not watching Funny Girl are we?" Rachel rolls her eyes.
"No you guys voted against me watching it remember?" Simone pokes her side.
"Yes because your always watching it. Give other movies a try Fanny." Rachel took a sip of her drink and smiled when Simone gave her that nickname.
"Aww you called me Fanny. That's my dream role." Simone kissed her nose.
"I know it is babe and you are going to own that stage when you get it." Kurt put the movie in then sits back down.
"She's right about that Rachel. You are totally going to own that stage and I'll be right there in the front row cheering your on." Rachel glanced over at Meena and grins.
"Of course you are Meena. You better be there or else I won't be happy. I want everybody close to me there." Simone rolls her eyes and focuses on the first movie of the night.
Her phone starts buzzing. She checks it to see Marlena texting her.
How's movie night going so far? Awkward yet? M
Simone texted her back.
Meena's being a little kiss ass to Rachel. Her voice is like nails on a chalk board. S
Her phone buzzes again.
LoL I always found her laugh annoying. Are you still getting your names done with me and Jane tomorrow? M
"So Kurt, Rachel tells me your working at Vogue. Com. What's it like working there?" Meena asked him.
He starts telling her back his job and she listens really interested. Simone chuckled making Rachel stared at her.
"What's so funny?" Rachel whispered.
"Nothing I just thought of something funny." Rachel goes back to watching the previews. Simone stares at her for a few minutes then texts Marlena back.
Yes I'm joining you tomorrow. Meena's voice just got even more annoying. S
You so have to fill us in tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your night love. M
I will. Bye love. S
She puts her phone back in her pocket and goes back to eating her dinner. Rachel leans against her and whispers in her ear.
"What are we doing tomorrow?" Simone stares at her.
"Do you just want to chill out after I get my nails done with Marlena and Jane? " Rachel smiles.
"Sure what can we do together?" Simone could think of plenty of things but she figures Rachel's not ready for that kind of relationship yet.
"We'll figure something out. Are you hanging out with Kurt while I'm gone?" Rachel whispers yes. Kurt had the day planned out for them. She had no clue what he was up to but she was trusting her best friend.
"I'm pressing play now so you two better cool it with the PDA." Kurt tells them pressing play and their first movie starts of the night.
Meena glanced over at them and sighs quietly. It was clear that Rachel was into Simone as much as Simone was into her. It was going to be so hard to be friends with her ex girlfriend now that she was back in Rachel's life.
As the night moved on, Rachel was sitting in Meena's lap now since they were done eating and they were watching a different movie. Rent was good but they watched one Bring it On movie which was Simone's choice and now it was Rachel's choice which was The Devil Wears Prada.
"Rach you got any plans tomorrow?" Meena whispered.
"Yeah I'm spending time with Simone after she's done with getting her nails done." Meena frowns.
"Okay while she's doing that, you and Kurt can join my yoga class I'm taking a with Ella." Rachel stared at Kurt wondering how he feels about this.
"I already agreed to it. You can't say no Rach. It's yoga of all things." Rachel glanced back at Meena who was giving a hopeful look.
"I guess I can join you." Meena hive fives Kurt saying yes and Rachel shakes her head laughing.
Simone sat there with her arms crossed watching all three of them mingle. She knows she shouldn't be jealous but she couldn't help it.
"Rachel I'm sure Meena doesn't want you sitting on her for long. Come back here and sit next to me." Meena glanced at Simone.
"It's fine Simone. She's not hurting me." Simone cleared her throat.
"I just don't think it's a good idea for her to sitting on your lap since you are her ex girlfriend. It's kind of rude since I'm the one she's seeing." Rachel got off Meena's lap and rejoined Simone on the couch.
"Your right hon and I'm sorry. That was very rude of me." Rachel cuddles back into Simone's arms and grabbed ahold of the hand that was holding her by the waist and laced her fingers with Simone's.
"I know you are babe." She looks up and pecks Simone's lips a few times.
Meena glared at the two as they kissed. She hated Simone Edwards. She was messing up her game. Kurt just shook his head not in the mood for the drama that was about to come if Rachel doesn't start to noticed that both girls were after her Affection.
The next morning. Meena, Rachel and Kurt got up, got ready, ate breakfast and then left for their yoga class while Simone was still sleeping. Her plans with Jane and Marlena weren't until 1:30.
She was enjoying her sleep when a phone starts ringing and it wasn't her phone. It was Rachel's phone. Simone sat up glancing at Rachel's phone and picked it up answering it. She knows its wrong to answer her phone but she needed sleep.
"Hello?" She says tiredly.
"Um hi I must have the wrong number." The person says.
"Are you calling for Rachel Berry?" Simone asked the person rubbing the sleep from her tired green eyes.
"Yeah I am. I'm Quinn Fabray, we went to high school together." Quinn tells her.
"You have the right number, she's went to a yoga class. I'm Simone Edwards. I'm Rachel's sort of girlfriend and roommate." She didn't hear her speak.
"Quinn are you there?"
"Yeah I'm here. Just tell Rachel I called and that I'll her call again sometime this week." Simone says okay then they hang up. She puts the phone back down knowing she's going to get in trouble for answering Rach's phone. She'll deal with that later and goes back to sleep not in the mood to get up.
At Yale.
Quinn stared at her phone confused after she hung up. She did not expect some girl answering Rachel's phone saying that she was sort of her girlfriend. What does that even mean? She glanced over at her guest giving her a look.
"Did she Rachel's phone?" Santana asked. She was in town visiting her best friend. Quinn nods still in shock hearing what Simone said to her.
"You believe me now Quinn? We thought we knew Rachel Berry all this time when the truth is that we don't know everything about her." Santana tells her.
"What happened with Rachel and Finn? They were engaged to be married the last time I heard." She asked her.
"I don't know the full story but Simone is now apart of her life as sort of her girlfriend. She's also not the first girl Rachel's been with." Quinn raised an questioning eyebrow at Santana.
"Are you serious?"
"Yup I've met the girl she was with in the past. They dated after Finn broke up with her Junior year. She went Carmel. You want to see her facebook page? there are pictures of her and Rachel together kissing and stuff." Quinn thought about it. She might aswell see the first girl Rachel's been in a relationship with.
Santana clicked on Meena's facebook page since they became friends. Quinn stared at Meena's picture. She was very pretty. If she was at McKinley High, guys would be all over her and herself would have been a bitch to her because she's so damn pretty.
"So this is the girl that dated Rachel our Junior year? She seems more like your type." Santana smirked.
"Please like I would go for a girl like that. Brittany's my girl. I have to admit that she's banging but she seems like Rachel's type. Look at these pictures of them together."
Quinn stared at them. Rachel seemed so happy and relaxed with Meena. These pictures showed a different side of Rachel. She was wearing clothes that she didn't wear at school. Why would she hate this side of her from everybody else? They could have been friends with her sooner if she showed this side of her.
"So are you friends with Simone?" Santana nods slowly.
"You want to see what she looks like?" Quinn nodded.
"Okay but why?"
"Because I'm trying to be a better person Santana." Santana stares at her.
"Oh my god do you have feelings for Berry?" Quinn scuffed.
"Please I'm not interested in dating anybody. I don't like Rachel like that." Santana started laughing.
"Quinn you've always had some type of romantic feelings towards Rachel. You just covered it up by hooking up with Puck, having Beth, dating Trouty Mouth and dating Finn, you might aswell admit it." Quinn rolls her eyes.
"I don't have romantic feelings towards Rachel. Like I said I'm being friends with her. Were no longer in high school Santana." Santana mutters whatever.
Quinn stayed quiet staring at the pictures of Simone. She looked like she was keeping Rachel on her toes. She saw few pictures of Rachel with Simone and they looked like they've been best friends since forever. There were afew pictures with Kurt in them. They all look like they have a great time together.
"So are we planning a trip to visit the New York City crew?" Quinn nods wanting to see her high school friends and to get know this Simone girl.
"Your going to end up confessing your feelings." Quinn pushed Santana away from her and sits on her bed shaking her head.
