Summary
When Rachel walked into Callbacks one night, she meets a girl who takes her breath away and they begin to talk then they become friends that move in together at some point. What if Rachel soon realizes that she might having feelings for her after they move into the loft in Bushwick together.
Will they be just friends or will it grow into a romantic relationship. Rachel can be with a girl or guy in this story. She's not putting a label on it.
How will Kurt and Santana react to Rachel being with a girl? How will Finn be when he shows up months later?
Kurt will be in the Second chapter and in the story from now on. Santana will move in a little later into the story.
Rachel and OC romantic story with friendships on the side. I hope you all like this new story. Rated T in the beginning but it will change Rated M later into the story.

Hours Earlier.
Rachel was sleeping peacefully in her nice comfortable bed in her Loft apartment in Bushwick, New York City when her phone rang. She groans hearing her phone and quickly reached for it so she doesn't wake up Kurt and Simone and saw Santana calling her. She quickly answered it.
"Hello?" She spoke groggily. "Berry? Were you sleeping at 11:30 at night? You're in New York City. The City that never sleeps." Santana spoke loudly making her pull the phone away from her ear. Was Santana really calling her just to complain about her bedtime?
"Yes I'm aware that I'm in New York City but I have classes at 8:30 to 11:30 tomorrow morning which means I have to get up 6:50, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, make my way to the subway and get to NYADA campus for my classes." Rachel exclaims tiredly. She just wanted to sleep.
On the other line, Santana Lopez was feeling bad for waking up Rachel. She knows how she gets when she doesn't get her rest but she wanted to inform that her and Quinn would be in town tomorrow for a few days.
"Sorry Berry. I was just calling to you let know that I'll be in town tomorrow for a few days. We're still going out to dinner right?" Santana said feeling bad.
Rachel opened her eyes hearing Santana's voice. "Yes I do believe that was the plan. I'll see you tomorrow. Enjoy your evening." Rachel spoke before ending the call and put her phone down and go back to sleep.
Around 6:50 in the morning, Rachel woke up to her alarm going off and turned it off before slowly getting out of bed and grabbed her towel and her toiletries and made her way into the bathroom, closing the door behind her and locked the door. Simone got up too and started making breakfast.
After Rachel was done with her shower, she got dressed in a navy blue bra with matching lace panties, pair of skinny jeans, a navy blue long sleeve top and her favorite black heeled boots. Her hair was down, nicely styled. Her makeup was nice too. She walked into the kitchen area and smiled seeing her roommate/girlfriend making breakfast.
"Good morning Simone. Are you making me breakfast?" Rachel said seeing her cooking. "Good morning baby. And yes I am." Simone spoke walking over to her and pecked her lips then went back to making them breakfast. Rachel sits down after she gets handed her tea. Both girls ate breakfast then Rachel brushed her teeth then grabbed her bag with her books, her apartment keys and her phone, grabbed her dance bag and coat and said goodbye.
At NYADA.
It was around 10:20 and Rachel was in dance class working with one of the guys in the class. Cassandra July was watching her a lot closely these days. When class was over, Rachel said goodbye to some of her new friends in the class and walked over to stuff and was about to leave when Cassie stopped her.
"You were late for my class Schwimmer. Any reason why?" Rachel sighs wishing she would stop harassing her. A dancer is supposed to teacher her, not belittle her and all Miss July ever does is talk down on her and insult her every chance she got.
"I actually had a class before this one. I'm doing the best I can. I'm sorry." Rachel spoke bitterly. "Whatever. I need to ask you another question." Rachel just stared at her waiting. She actually needed to get changed and go to her last class before she was done for the day.
"How well do you know Shelby Corcoran?" Rachel stared at her confused. "Excuse me? Why are you asking me about Shelby Corcoran?" Cassie glared at her.
"None of your damn business Schwimmer. Now how well do you how her?" Rachel walked close to her. "I know her some what. She's my birth mother. Now if you excuse me? I need to go." Rachel spoke firmly before leaving the room. Cassie stood there in shock. Rachel was the baby girl Shelby gave up?
"I need to ask talk to Simone. Rachel can't be telling the truth." Cassie thought frowning.
Santana's POV.
I watched Quinn leave wondering what that was about but then I noticed Rachel and Simone kissing. Wait when did those two become a couple? I still shocks me that Rachel's into girls but then I remember that I never really got to know her in high school. Q and I made her the biggest loser at McKinley. That was a huge mistake because Berry isn't so bad. Anyways I get mine and Quinn's ice cream then leave quickly before Rachel and her new lover see me. I walk out and see Quinn standing far away from the place and walk over to her.
"Here Q." She looked at me and walked took the frozen treat from my hand. "You alright?" She shrugged unsure. I was worried about Quinn. I know she doesn't want to admit that she's got feelings for Berry. I don't blame her. Rachel has been looking good these days.
"Not really. Why didn't you tell me that Rachel was dating Simone?" I stared at her surprised. " Didn't know okay but why are you upset about it?"
Quinn frowns staring at me. "Because okay. Drop the conversation." She glares at me.
"Come on Q. Let's enjoy our frozen treat and we can talk more about these new feelings of yours.
Santana and Quinn were in their hotel room getting ready for dinner with Rachel, Kurt and Simone. Quinn wasn't looking forward to meeting Simone Edwards. She still couldn't believe Rachel was kissing that girl publicly at an ice cream place. When they finished getting ready. They took a cab to the restaurant and walked in and saw Kurt sitting alone waving them over.
"Hi ladies you look amazing." Kurt exclaims standing up to greet them with hugs then they sit down. Where's Simone and Rachel?" Santana asked curiously.
Kurt was about to text one of them when they heard a familiar voice. "Hey Quinn and Santana welcome to New York night life." Rachel said from behind them,with a smile. Quinn glanced at her giving her a surprised look. Rachel looked nothing like the same girl who wore animal sweaters and dresses all the time.
The girl standing in front of her wore darker makeup, her hair was long lighter at the ends. She lost a few pounds since they've last seen each other and she had curves. What stood out was the female hand she was holding.
Rachel was wearing a dark purple laced peplum top with black mini skirt. On her feet were dark blue heels. Her hair was down in her natural curls with her bangs to the right side of her face.
"Um wow! You look great Rachel, come give me a hug." She stood up opening her arms. Rachel smiled lightly walking into Quinn's arms to give her a quick hug while her hand is still in Simone's.
Santana stared at Simone waving at her. She smiled waving back with her free hand. Quinn pulled back after awhile and glanced behind her taking a good look at the blonde with the colorful tips.
She was a tall girl with gorgeous pale skin with long blonde hair with red and purple tips. Her eyes were piercing green eyes, she was wearing a navy blue crop top with a black body hugging skirt. Quinn glanced at her feet. On her feet were navy blue heels. Her makeup was flawless.
"Hi you must be Simone, I'm Quinn Fabray." Simone nods not really in the mood to shake her hand. Rachel moved right into Simone's arms and whispered in her ear.
"You promised to play nice tonight." Quinn, Kurt and Santana noticed Simone sighing before kissing Rachel's cheek then she glanced back at the small group.
"Nice to finally meet you Quinn and like my girlfriend said, welcome to the New York City night life." She said with a fake smile.
They sit down and the waitress comes over to them and they give their drink orders.
"I love your outfit Simone." Quinn said liking her look. "Same here. So glad you could join us! They've told me so much about you." Simone said with a smile in her New Yorker accent.
"Aren't they a cute couple?" Kurt gushed to Santana, smiling at Rachel and Simone. Santana had to admit that they were a cute couple.
"So Quinn how are you are you liking New York so far?" Simone asked her girlfriend's friend. "It's great. I need to visit more." She exclaims.
Kurt noticed the tension and decided to break it. "I'm loving the outfit Rach. Did you buy that before I joined you here in New York?" Kurt asked pointing at his best friend's attire.
"Yeah. My dads came to visit and we went shopping." She explained then glanced at Quinn. "Is it true? About you and your professor?" Rachel asked softly. Quinn bit her lip. She was never open to taking about her personal life. She hated Santana sometimes.
"Santana can be so annoying. I rather not talk about it. Speaking of relationships, what's going on with you and Simone?" Rachel blushed.
"We became official not too long ago. It's still new to us." Rachel tells her and Santana. "What happened between you getting married to Finn? Are you still through with that plan?" Rachel shook her head no.
"No because we knew it wasn't going to work out anymore. We both aren't the same people we used to be." Quinn pursed her lips. That's probably Simone's fault.
"Why is this bugging you? You never liked me with Finn and now I'm not." Quinn frowns staring at Rachel while the others looked at their menus.
"Because I saw the way you two were. Even at the train station you had this loving movement. This thing with Simone, it's a fling and you know flings don't last long." Rachel glared at her.
"Who are you to tell me what to do? Your the one sleeping with your professor. Simone makes me happy." Quinn shrugged her shoulders.
"What's going to happen when you two break up?" Rachel rolled her eyes. "Again why is this bugging you? Quinn you have no right to tell me what to do."
Quinn rolled her eyes. "Your right I don't have a right but I do think you should take whatever this is with your female roommate slow! She's your first girlfriend." Rachel chuckled.
"Simone isn't my first girlfriend. I do have an ex girlfriend who goes to NYADA." She tells her. Quinn knew this from what Santana told her but she actually wanted to hear it from Rachel herself. She really thought she knew Rachel Berry in high school but now she was learning a whole different side of Rachel.
"Okay. Rachel I don't want you to stay mad at me all night so I'm going to drop this conversation. Can we start over?" She asked hopefully.
Before she could answer Quinn, Simone spoke. "Thank god you're done grilling my girlfriend." Simone said glaring at her.
They ordered their food after their drinks came and then they decided to go to the club after dinner.
