Sorry I haven't posted, I've been extremely busy with school, sports and life. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

Kendall's Pov.

I was very thankful that Jo came over and met Alex. It was nice to hangout with her. But I still had this want for her, this feeling I can't quite express.

Apparently it was clear because Alex caught me staring at her and confronted me later.

"You need to make a move!" Alex said while we were on the porch.

"On Jo?" I questioned.

"Yes, you need to get some alone time with her." Alex said with a grin.

"What would we talk about?" I asked running a hand through my hair.

"I don't care, you figure it out you two were best friends first." Alex said walking back inside.

For the next two days everything went pretty smoothly. Instead of having dinner tomorrow we all decided to have a party Friday night.

I didn't really want to but I just whatever to make everyone else happy.

Friday Night

"Yo whats up? The party has just started I brought the booze!" I turned around when I heard that and of course it was James.

"Kendall!" He said and came over to me and gave me a hug, he smelled like liquor and it made me sick.

"Hey, James." I said shying away a little.

"You ready to get wasted." James yelled.

"I'm gonna leave that up to you." I said and walked away over to Jo, Logan and Camille.

"There's no way I'm gonna last a whole night around him." I said to them.

"He just like to make it a good time, he's good at it. Come on Kendall he's our best friend." Logan said looking over at him.

"No, he's not the James he used to be. Guy's like him make me sick." I said with a disgusted face.

"Kendall, your not the same you used to be too, you have no room to talk." Camille said laughing.

Jo was just staring at her hands, I knew she was trying to hold in all her comments.

"I know that, but I've changed for the better. To see a man waist his life like that, it's not fair and it's incredibly sad to see that, when I know how many of my Friends have died in Combat. Fighting for our country and for guys like him to throw away their lives." I said and that got all their attention.

They were all silent and I took that as, they got the message.

But we didn't let that ruin our night. We did have a good time. Jo was pretty quiet all night and didn't seem in the party mood, I really just wanted to hangout somewhere with her.

I was sitting down on the couch with Alex and Carlos and Lex just chillen when I noticed Jo wasn't anywhere around. I too this as an opportunity to go find her and try to talk. Its the guys who has to start it right.

I went up stairs and called her, then I saw the porch door open.

"Out here." I heard her say.

"Hey, what are you doing out here?" I said walking out to her.

"Just getting some air." She said sniffling a little.

"You ok, what's up?" I said putting my hand on her back.

"Nothing." She said smiling and looking up to me. I felt bad because I know it was me she was upset about.

"Lies." I said taking my hand back.

"Whatever." She said laughing a little.

"How's your dad, I haven't seen him yet?" I said taking a sip of my beer.

"Alright I guess. I don;t see him that much, he's got a girlfriend," Jo said sighing heavily.

"Aghh.. I'm sorry Jo, I had no idea." I said leaning on the railing looking at her.

"It's whatever, How were you supposed to know? Things have just really started to suck, and I really haven't been able to talk to anyone." She said and I handed her my beer to drink.

"I'm here now, tell me what's bothering you." I said and she gave me a look.

"Well I just don't like that my dads with someone that's not my mom. But I guess someone can't wait for forever." She looking up at me, the look she had was like so desperate, like she wanted something.

"And they will just feel when it's the right time to move on from friends. You at least gotta try, right?" She said with this longing look in her eyes.

"Yeah, defiantly." I said looking down, I just couldn't make a move I wasn't ready.

We just stood there for a minute quietly.

"Come on lets go inside and have a good time." I said and ran a had through my hair.

She look upset as she walked away. She then went over to Camille.

Camille's Pov.

I was upstairs waiting for Logan, who was in the bathroom. Then Jo and Kendall came in form the porch which was surprising.

"Come with me." Jo said, she looked upset.

"What's wrong now?" I asked, I really didn't wanna do this right now.

"I hinted at Kendall big time about us and he didn't do anything but it looked like he wanted to." She said throwing her hands up.

"For the last time Jo, Let It Happen Naturally. Your making it worse." I said then just walked away not wanting to deal with this.

I walked down stairs where everyone was just hanging.

"Camille where's Jo?" Katie asked me.

"Don't know, Don't really care." I said and Katie gave me a scared look.

I went over to Logan who was talking with Alex. She's actually very nice, but she's she's really pretty and I'm making sure I keep Logan close.

I'm sure that's another reason Jo is so upset about everything, it's gotta be the hardest thing ever.

I would be a mess if Logan suddenly left, then came back a completely different person. Then leave again come back with someone else.

How Jo's stayed cool with Alex is amazing, but it has to cause her so much pain. She doesn't even show how it hurts her, and that's why Kendall can't see what she wants.

"Alex, can I talk to you?" Kendall said, then they walked away.
