Hey guys! I'm really sorry I didn't update sooner I've been extremely busy and I'm also have a small writers block! Anyway I hope you guys can forgive me!
Kendall's Pov.
Jo and I had an amazing night, it was something we really needed.
Once I got my family and friends together I told them about going back.
They were all sad hearing there was a chance I would be leaving soon.
I told them that it's all out of my control and that I will accept whatever they say and that I am 100% committed to being a Navy Seal.
They were a little surprised when I said that, but that's the way it is.
But they let it go and my mom planned a big dinner before I leave for my interview just so everyone can be together.
I stated running a lot more so I could prepare myself if I did have to go back, it's been pretty exhausting. But I'm getting better.
Today's the day before I have to leave and it was about 9 o'clock and I was just enjoying a nap on the porch recliner when I felt a little drizzle of water on my face.
I opened my eyes to see Jo and Katie standing over me giggling.
"Seriously, you guys have nothing better to do than annoy me?" I said sitting up.
"Ahhha... mom wants you she's in her room." Katie said as they went and sat on some chairs in the corner. Jo ran over there giggling and hid her face as I gave her a stern look.
I was about to give them both little smacks when I heard my mom call me in.
"What's up mom?" I said walking into the laundry room.
"Do you want James to come over for dinner?" she asked me giving me a mom like look.
"Not really!" I said running a hand through my hair.
"I don't blame you, he hasn't the same since you first left. But maybe he just needs his friends." she said raising an eyebrow at me.
I nodded then over at two buckets in the corner.
"Yeah, hey could you help me with something!" I said giving her a smirk.
She watched me pick up the buckets and bring them over to the sink. "Why am I sensing a revenge plan?" she said smiling wide.
"Katie and Jo poured a little bit of water on me earlier so I wanna get them back." I said lifting the first bucket away.
"Ya know, this is good! A month ago you would have been very mad. I'm just very happy to see my son in you more and more." she said smiling as I filled the second bucket.
"I'm glad you can say that, mom. i know I've changed and there are reasons for that but slowly I find myself doing things I would have done before." I said giving her one of the buckets.
"Okay, so I'm gonna throw this one at Katie then you can hand me hat one and I'll throw it at Jo." I said while we walked though the kitchen.
"Sounds good, but I'm running away right after that." my mom said laughing a little.
We arrived at the porch door and saw them sitting there talking."Okay, here we go!" I opened the door slowly.
"Hey guy's!" I said then pulled the first bucket from behind the door.
I smiled seeing there scared faces. I pulled the bucket up and threw it at Katie and she screamed, Jo was laughing, not for long though.
I quickly grabbed the other one from my mom.
I stepped closer to Jo and her face went white.
"Kendall, don't..." she was socked by the time she could finish.
I just stood there smiling while my mom ran. They both were glaring at me.
"You might want to think it through next time you decide to mess with me." I said this the went and laid down in my previous position.
"Did that just happen?" Katie said walking away all mad. I was laughing.
"Wow, Okay. I guess we deserved something but a whole bucket of water?" Jo said laughing as she walked over to me with a devil smile.
"Yup, it's better than me just ignoring you guys for the rest of the day!" I said sitting up.
"I guess, Katie was more upset. I let this one slide." Jo said then pulled of her cover up revealing her gorgeous body in a bikini.
Oh shit, this got me excited down low!
I put a hand on both sides of her thighs and ran my hands up to her hips making her skin tingle and I was about to stand up when she put a hand on my chest and pushed me back down.
"Yeah right, you just threw a bucket of water on my, you get nothing!" she said smiling satisfied.
Katie came out with a towel and a change of clothes for Jo.
"Rude!" she said taking one look at me then walking away.
Jo started to put her clothes on so I knew I really wasn't getting anything.
"She'll get over it!" I said lying back down.
"Hopefully, I'm going to lunch with Camille then I 'll be back!" she said leaning down and putting her lips to mine.
It's sucks to see her leave me but this time gives me a chance to wrap my head around going back!
As I started to think about it the memories started to come back. The fear and anxiety coming with it.
So last chapter was pretty serious so I wanted to add a more fun one! I hope you guys loved it! Next chapter is a little more rough!
