Hello beautiful fanfiction readers! You're favorite story has returned! It's pretty crazy I haven't posted a chapter for this story in I think a year. I just lost all motivation, but I've missed BTR lately so I thought I would update! I hope the long awaited chapter is good!

Previously on Navy Soldier.

It sucks to see her leaving, but this time gives me a chance to wrap my head around going back!

As I started to think about it the memories started to come back. The fear and anxiety coming with it.

Fastforward to present time.

Kendall's Pov.

After sitting and thinking for an hour, all of the sudden i could see the faces of my enemy's and hear their voices in my head. I could almost feel the pain they gave me running through my body, it was like a could feel every punch I received. I was yanked out of my thought when I heard a loud voice say,

"Mom, I'm leaving for Katelyn's." It was Katie talking to my mom inside.

I went to stand up and my head started spinning uncontrollably then I stumbled forward and fell down the short stairs but enough to make me smack my head hard on the cement. I felt blood stream down my forehead. I laid on the ground for some time, then I got up and started running to the beach like someone was chasing me.

The sun felt so bright, it brought me back to when I would be all alone in the warehouse for days, then they would come with light. It was a sign they were coming back to inflict pain and beat me. I ran straight to the water and instinctively dove into a crashing wave.

This action snapped me out of my previous thoughts and when my head came up I felt a wave of relief hit me.

I realized the sun was going down and I was fully clothed standing in the ocean, but it didn't matter i was alive and away from harm. I felt like a idiot, though.

There was a pain in my head and when I went to feel around there a large cut along the side of my face. I dove under again to wash away the blood and I was refreshed. I hop no one saw me.

I stayed in the water for a minute, just thinking about the upcoming events.

Jo's Pov.

It was now 7pm and I was just getting back. I felt horrible because I told Kendall I would be back sooner. I tried calling him but there was no answer.

I asked Mrs. Knight where he was and she thought he had gone up to the beach a while ago.

I ran-walked up to the beach, there were a couple of people walking around and some in the water.

I looked around for home but didn't see him. I walked closer to the water and saw a person who looked like him. So I decided to call him,

"Kendall?" I yelled so he could hear.

After a minute the figure started to turn and it was him. He stopped once he was sideways and when he saw me he ran a hand over his head.

I knew something was wrong by the stillness of his body. I took off my cover-up knowing I had a bikini under and ran into the water.

"Ken, what's going on?" I said when I finally got to him. I threw my arms around him closing the distance between us.

"Umm... I just was taking a swim." he said in a low voice.

When I pulled away I noticed he was fully clothed and knew he lied. I then looked up to his face and there was a massive cut(take note of jo's exaggeration) on the side of his face.

"Oh my gosh, how did you get this?" I said going to touch it.

"I don't know, I think... owww!", he said pulling my arm away, "That hurts."

"You must have hit your head and lost consciousness then I really don't know how you ended up down here!" I said exasperated.

He was silent for a second then let go of me and ran his hands over his face.

"What? Please talk to me, we need to go see a doctor." I said putting a hand on his arm.

"What, no I'm fine. I was just...just... thinking for to long, and some bad memories cane back and I came down here to refresh myself." He said confidently, although I didn't quite understand. Then I instantly felt guilty for leaving him and not spending this important time with him.

"Fuck Kendall, this is all my fault. I should have came back sooner, I'm so sorry." I said ready to cry, but then I looked up and he was smiling down at me. He put his hands on my hips and pulled me in.

"Jo what are you talking about. I'm fine, sometimes those memories come back and take over. You can't help it, it's no big deal at all." Kendall said kissing my forehead.

"It is a big deal, you..." I started but was interrupted.

"No it's not, relax." I was gonna push harder, but he had a pleading look in his eyes so I didn't.

"Fine, my question is why are you in all your clothes?" I said grinning at him.

"Good question. You're not though!" He said seductively looking down my barely covered body.

I laughed at him and took the opportunity to put my arms around his neck and kiss him.

It was sweet and meaningful, with some passion.

When we got back to the house, Mrs. Knight was pretty shocked at Kendall's appearance.

"My God Kendall, what happened to your head and why are you're clothes soaking?" She said putting he hands on her hips and giving him the look. I had to turn and laugh behind Ken's back.

"It's a long story, but I'm fine!" Kendall said calmly which helped the situation.

"Come on I'll fix up your head." I said pulling him upstairs.

"I can do it, you don't have to." he said getting stuff out of the closet.

"Yeah right, you wouldn't know where to start." I said smartly.

"You'd be very surprised! I'm a navy seal." He said confidently.

After I fixed his head he went to get changed. What he said about being a navy seal got me thinking. I had a friend who's dad was a navy seal and she told me some of things he went through and had to do. Has Kendall killed people? Has he saved people? Or gotten hurt himself?

Tons of questions start popping into my head. I looked up and through the bathroom mirror I see Kendall changing his shirt. As he grabs the dry shirt I see something on his back, like a streaks. He slipped on his other shirt before I could see what it was. I guess Kendall saw the confused look on my face,

"What's wrong?" He says in a deep voice.

"Nothing!" I say pushing it down and smiling at him. He grins back.

He then pushes me back onto his bed so I'm laying flat, puts his hands on either side of my shoulders and towers over me looking my in the eyes.

"Are you lying to me?"

I don't want to talk about it now so I do lie. And put my hands on his shoulders pulling him down a little.

"No!" I say quietly looking at his lips right in front of mine.

He leaned down and brought our lips together deepening the kiss putting his hand on my wait while mine are running along his chest. We continues to kiss with passion, our lips moving insink. The way he takes control is amazing and sends lust all through me.

We were interrupted by Kendall's mother yelling for him to come kill a bug.

He pulled up a little and looked at the door sighing. I bring my hands down his chest and lightly push him up, so he pulls me up with him.

"Come on, go help her!" I say smiling.
