Hello! Got a couple reviews on my last chapter and I'm happy to be back writing a little. I hope you guy's like this next chapter.
Jo's Pov.
After we went out for a dinner with everyone for Carlo's birthday and so everyone could see him we went back to the Knight's to spend some time alone. I look at the trophies and pictures on his desk, they bring back memories from High School. On the bottom there was one of the boys. I smile at it, and pick one up of Kendall, Katie, and myself. I hear him come up from behind and press his chest to my back and I lean into him.
"Good times." I say looking back at him. He smiled a little.
"You miss High school?" He says taking another picture.
"Of course, I miss the friendships. It was simple, and we were kids having fun and could be immature. Don't you?" I say smiling.
"No. I'm disgusted by who I was then." He said with annoyance in his voice.
I turn to face him and I am reminded of the earlier event today by the cut near his eye. I put a hand on his arm and look him in the eyes,
"Why? I loved that version of you! We were best friends, I miss you." I said this and he immediately stepped away and I could see the pain in his eyes.
"The weak, stupid, irresponsible, idiot who I used to be, why miss that?" He says throwing his hands up.
"Kendall you were none of those. You were a man before anyone else. You took care of your family and were a person I knew so well. You were silly and sweet, but I love who you are no matter what babe!" I say coming up next to him.
"Kendall... I don't know you like I once did. And I wish you could tell me about what happen..."
"You're right, you don't. Jo I'm fine with who I am, it's just what I have done that makes me what I don't want to be." He said with a defeated look and sitting down on the chair. Then I went up behind him.
"Your not in High School so its okay, you are different. Your appearance, attitude, personality, and more. Your strong and confident, and there is nothing wrong with that. I do wish you would tell me about what happened to make you change..." I started to say rubbing his shoulders but he cut me off.
"Were not talking about that. Look Jo, somethings are better left unknown." He said strongly.
"Fine Kendall, if your not gonna talk to me how are we supposed to have a relationship." I yell frustrated with his stubbornness and walk over to sit on the bed.
"I just don't want to talk about this right now. And you know that's a bunch of bull Jo, so don't put it on me becasue I don't wanna talk about something that hurts. Okay, I don't push you about Jett and things that are hard for you, I'm trying to put as much as I can into this relationship." He said, both of us letting a tear drip. Then he got up and sat next to me taking my hand in his.
"Listen, you're the reason I'm alive today and I want things to stay like this for awhile. Alright, I'm gonna go to this interview and I need to know whatever happens you'll be supporting me through it all?" He said looking over at me.
I let another tear slip as I crawled onto his lap wrapping my arms around his neck putting my head on his shoulder and his to my heart.
"Baby, I'm in love with you. There is nothing I wouldn't do for you!" I whispered into his ear as he tightened his hold on me.
"I'm gonna miss the sound of your heart beating." He said lifting his head from its resting place.
Then he smashed our lips together for a long kiss.
After kissing for awhile it became late so we got ready for bed. As I got in bed next to Kendall he wrapped an arm around me and pulled my back to his chest
As we fell asleep, I felt his lips kiss my neck a couple times and then he whispered in my ear,
"I'm in love with you, too!"
Kendall's Pov.
We woke up around 6 because I had to be gone by 7 to make to the base where the interview and training are.
After hugging everyone and saying my goodbye's, I left the house to bring my stuff down to the car, Jo came so we could say our good bye. I put all my stuff in the jeep and turned to Jo who was hugging herself and staring at the ground. I stood back and leaned against the car taking in her beauty.
"You're so gorgeous!" I said and she scoffed looking up at me.
"Stop it Kendall." She said looking away.
"Come on." I say wrapping my arms around her shrunken figure as she put her arms around my neck.
"Please call when you can!" She said desperately.
"I will!" I say laying a soft kiss on her lips. I let go and got in my car and waved goodbye.
