shadowalkz: Hmm...still thinking on where to end it, so far it's like go back and help Naruto with the war arc in his dimension but I'm not really sure as of yet cause I have to take in the timeline factors and stuff.

Chapter 9: Reason

Sasuke eyes slowly opened to an unfamiliar ceiling, before him laid a dark wooden ceiling; he slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes, they still hurt him and with the overuse of both susanoo and amaterasu; his eyes blurred with each glance he took, his shirt was on the opposite end of the room and his upper body was laced with bandages, he felt a small weight to his right and he blinked to see Erza sleeping next to him, he stayed motionless as he watched the small girl sleep peacefully, he moved his right hand and brushed a strand of hair that covered her face and then slowly observed his surroundings. He didn't know where he was...a voice called out to him and he snapped his head to the left.

"She's been by your side ever since we brought you here"

Sasuke's eyes narrowed as he identified the woman infront of him, he now recognised who it was...she was the woman known as Ur, he looked to Erza and then slowly looked to Ur who leaned against the wooden doorpost beside her, her hands folded over her chest.

"You tended to my wounds?" Sasuke questioned, his voice calm and composed.

"Yeah...from what I saw, you've been through a lot of fights; haven't you?" Ur questioned, concern laced in her voice. Sasuke looked away from her.

"That's none of your business" he stated startling Ur, she raised her hands up in mock surrender "Alright, alright...you can tell me about it when you want to.."

"And what makes you think I want to tell you about it?" Sasuke questioned, his coal black eyes now glaring at her.

"Huh...you're a cold one, aren't you?" Ur smiled, which caught the avenger off guard; he immediately looked away from her and to Erza once more..."Heh..." she smirked as she removed herself from the doorpost and took a chair next to him, she seated herself on it as she looked to the avenger. Silence reigned between them for a few minutes before Sasuke looked back at her.

"What are you looking at?" he questioned out, in annoyance.

"You're pretty cute" she grinned and beamed a smile at him. "Tch..." he grunted out in irritation, what was this woman trying to do to him? he wondered, his eyes slowly gazed downwards to her leg, the ice was still there. Questions began to play out in his mind, was this woman an ice user like Haku?...did she have a bloodline limit as well?.

"What happened to your leg?" Sasuke questioned, curiosity finally getting the better of him.

"Lost it in that fight against that monster, would've lost my body too..." Ur began, her voice mixed with chuckles and calmness "if it wasn't for you...I wouldn't be here so thanks Sasuke"

"Gratitude isn't what I'm looking for" Sasuke answered immediately prompting Ur to tilt her head in confusion "Then what are you looking for?"

"Information..." he answered.

"About?" she questioned.

"The village hidden in the leaves"

"What?...'village hidden in the leaves', never heard of such a place" she answered immediately much to Sasuke's dismay, he began thinking profusely, his eyes widening in surprise at her answer "No...none of these people know where konoha is!...where am I!?..damn it! Danzo!...is this the result of that tetragram seal!?"

"Sasuke? are you okay? you're sweating?!" Ur asked out, concerin evident in her voice.

He didn't answer her rather he began questioning her "Have you ever heard about the Uchiha clan?"

"Uchiha clan? no, never heard of it; what is it anyway?...hey, are you alright? calm down..." she cautioned him.

"The akatsuki! do you know anything about them!?" Sasuke exclaimed and questioned out in worry.

"Sasuke, you need to calm down" Ur answered once again, she watched as he began sweating and panting profusely, this wasn't a good sign for him.

"Answer the question!" he shouted and looked away from her, panting hard. Ur reasoned that answering him was the only way to calm him down "No...I haven't..." and then Sasuke's eyes widened.

"W-what?!...w-where!?..." he began stuttering as his coal black eyes raised itself upwards to find a map on the wall adjacent to him and tore it off, he began studying it. His eyes widened; this wasn't any map he knew.

"This...m-map! no...where?! where is it!? damn it!" Sasuke shouted, as he threw the map away, he began to raise himself up from his bed which prompted Ur to place her two hands on his bare shoulders "Hey...you need to stop, you're still injured! calm down! we'll find out what you're looking for later!"

"Don't touch me! my b-brother...my clan...everything, it's gone!" he shouted and swatted her hand away, hurt and pain flashed in Ur's eyes as Sasuke's head bowed down, tears began falling from his eyes, he didn't know where he was, he didn't know how he would go back! he didn't know anything! His sudden shout had caused Erza to wake up.

"N-Nii-san?" she whispered out as she slowly awoke from her slumber, Sasuke didn't answer, rather he clutched the bedsheet that covered him, and tears slowly fell down onto the blanket. Erza's lone eye immediately widened.

"Nii-san?..why are you...crying?!" she questioned, this was the first time she had seen him cry and it broke her heart, she crawled onto the bed as Ur looked on, and slowly moved her small hands to his, he tensed at her touch and slowly she placed herself in front of his crying eyes and looked to him, Sasuke refused to look at her no matter how many times she called.

"E-Erza...get lost" he finally answered, one that was barely above a whisper.

The sudden answer had shocked her, Ur had caught it and slowly she took Erza "Just be in the living room for awhile, let me talk to him okay?...it'll be alright" Ur soothed her, she left her in the living room and then went back and sat next to Sasuke, anger now blazing in her eyes,

"What was that about, Sasuke?" she questioned him.

"S-shut up..." he whispered

"What did you just say!? look me in the eyes, damn it!" Ur shouted, rage piercing her voice, he didn't, she cupped his chin and made him look at her "Isn't that your little sister?! how c-can you treat her like that?!"

He removed his face from her hand "Y-you know nothing, so shut up..." he began once more.

"Then tell me what happened!" she shouted at him and Sasuke's own anger blazed over her "Stop acting so damn familiar with me!" he shouted at her and Ur's rage had reached the breaking point "Alright tough guy...let's have it your way."

She didn't want to do this but this was the only way to get him to talk and so he grabbed him by his arm and pulled him out of the bed, he fell on the floor and grunted in pain; grabbing his hair; she pulled him out of the room, Erza's eyes widened as she watched Sasuke dragged across Ur's house.

"Ur-san!?" Erza called out in surprise and worry,

"Erza! stay here...don't you dare come out, I'm going to beat some sense into your brother" Ur shouted, Sasuke groaned out in pain as she pulled his hair; he was too weak to do anything and then Ur threw him to the cold barren snowland outside, Erza looked on in worry, she couldn't do anything. Ur had frozen the door and she couldn't do anything to help her beloved brother.

"Now then...I'm gonna beat some sense into you" Ur began, cracking her knuckles.

Sasuke slowly rose up, he had only his black pants and his sandals on and the cold affected him to the bone, his eyes grew weary as he looked to Ur "Do...what you want..." he whispered.

"You're pissing me off!" she shouted and she slugged him, sending him staggering into the snow below him. He grunted out in pain but had no time to recover as Ur placed herself above him, seating herself on his abdomen; she began slugging him left and right shouting insults at him.

"You're supposed to be taking care of her! not hurting her eveytime you get! she told me about what you did for her and how you took care of her! and how act like this? taking out your anger on a child!? what is wrong with you?!" she shouted at him, blood began to pour out of Sasuke mouth, his eyes seemed dead, no emotion could be seen in them as Ur pounded away at him , she stopped and began to pant; she looked to him and watched as he looked to her as well; both their eyes locked with each other as Ur began speaking once again.

"I know it's been hard for you...if you need someone to talk to, then I'm here for you; just don't hurt Erza with your words ever again" she shouted at him and then Sasuke's voice reached her "Y-you want to know what I've lost? what I can never have again?" he began.

Ur's eyes widened as Sasuke began his tale, his despair etched into each word he spoke, he told her of how his brother had sacrificed himself, how he was used by the village he loved, how he was forced to slaughter his family, to leave him alone to become an avenger, how he had killed his brother, learned the truth and then slaughtered one of his brother's enemy leading him up here. Ur didn't know what to believe, she felt overwhelming sadness for the young man in front of her, but she couldn't believe what she had just heard. He didn't know where he was and he had lost his reason for living.

"Do y-you understand now!? I've lost everythin-"

A slap resounded across his face, blood splattered onto the snow as Sasuke slowly looked back to her, he blinked...small drops of water had settled itself on his face "W-what is this?...tears?!" he thought out in surprise and then looked up to see Ur crying. His eyes widened as he whispered out to her.

"Why a-are you..." he questioned out, she didn't answer rather glared at him; tears freely falling on him "You're a fool...you say you lost everything..." she began, sniffling, "I understand what you're going through, I had only a daughter left and she died..."

Sasuke's eyes widened at the revelation and then he silently listened as the woman went on "But I didn't stop living...I found two other lives, my cute students to take care off; that's why I continued on living...you say you have nothing" she continued, Sasuke watched as she raised her right hand up and pointed to her house behind her "Who do you see in that window over there?"

He blinked, unable to understand what she was saying and then his coal black eyes widened to see Erza looking at him from the window of Ur's house, banging on the glass relentlessly, "Er-rza..." he whispered out in shock and then slowly turned back to Ur

"I think you already found another reason for living, you just haven't realised it yet...she's your little sister, isn't she? then start taking care of her" she smiled at him and Sasuke drew blanks, his wounds had reopened again and he was bleeding from the mouth. "Erza...as my reason for living huh?..." his eyes wandered to the window once more and Erza blinked to see Sasuke directly looking at her. A moment of silence passed and Ur questioned him once more.

"You fine now? or do you want me to beat some more sense into you?" she asked, sarcasm etched into her voice, Sasuke turned her gaze at her and remained calm and then in an instant, he flipped her over; she grunted out in pain as her back hit the snow, he was on top of her now and he looked down on her as Ur smirked "Not bad, still got some strength in you huh?"

"Hn..." he grunted and before he could arise from his position before two shouts caught his attention

"Aaaah!"

Ur and Sasuke blinked as they looked in front of them to find Gray and Lyon looking at them "Ur! what the hell are you doing!?" Gray shouted, Lyon joined at the same moment "And outside no less!? and why is that guy half naked and on top of you!?"

"Huh?" Ur blinked, it took a moment for both Sasuke and Ur to realise the position they were in, she decided to humour them "Well...Sasuke here was just about to kiss me, until you two interrupted us.."

"Hmph..." Sasuke stated as he slowly arose to his feet. "In your dreams..."

"What?!" Gray shouted out again, his eyes bulging out "Who the hell would kiss a shitty woman like you!?

Sasuke blinked, in an instant; Ur appeared next to Gray and hit his head causing a huge swelling to appear "Who you calling shitty!? you damn brat!" the argument continued much to Sasuke's annoyance, leaving the three of them; he turned his gaze back on the house and then looked to Erza, wobbling he slowly made his way to the house. Ur had frozen the entrance, the ice wasn't thick, sending chakra up to his fist; he broke the ice and then opened the door, as soon as he did; Erza crashed into him; her lone eye looking up to him.

"Nii-san, are you alright?! what did Ur-san do to you!? are you hurt?!" she shouted out in worry and concern.

"I'm fine...Erza" he whispered, slowly he knelt down to her level and looked to her "I'm sorry for what I said to you..."

Erza blinked in surprise as a low blush covered her cheeks and she looked away from him "W-What are you talking about?!...ah! you're bleeding!" she shouted out on seeing blood dripping from Sasuke's mouth, the bandages had come undone and she grabbed him by his right hand and began pulling him to the room that Ur had given them, he let himself be dragged away by her then watched as the lilttle girl began bandaging his injuries once more. "I'll find a way back...after" his eyes turned to Erza who keenly fixed his bandages "after I finish taking care of her..."

Erza's mind was however full of confusion as she fixed the bandages, she didn't know what the feeling she was experiencing was, she felt Ur was stealing Sasuke away from her, she didn't like the feeling one bit and slowly her gaze turned to him "Nii-san?.." she called out, Sasuke blinked and turned to her.

"What is it?"

"What...what do you think of Ur-san?"

"She's annoying" a direct straight answer and Erza blinked in confusion, she couldn't tell if that was good or bad, so she decided to question him once more, however she hesitated once more but mustering up her courage; she questioned him once more.

"Nii-san?...what do you think of me?" she asked.

Sasuke blinked, and realisation hit him; he knew what the questions were about and slowly he drew up his right hand and with two outstretched fingers tapped her forehead "Ow! nii-san!" she whined and then with her lone eye glared at him.

"You're not annoying" he answered, and Erza blinked, she still didn't know if that was good or bad! but a small smile had placed itself on Sasuke's face, one that she had caught and she too smiled "I guess it's a good thing...right nii-san?"

"Erza..." Sasuke called out, the said girl blinked as she once again looked at him; "It's possible that we won't find anything in Rosemary village,...where do you wanna go after that?"

Erza smiled and answered him "Fairy tail!"

Sasuke blinked in surprise "Fairy tail?" he questioned out, curiosity etched into his features.

"Uh huh! Rob jii-san told me that if I wanted to get strong then I should go join Fairy tail, it's the strongest guild!" she explained with enthusiasm. Sasuke didn't answer as his gaze moved away from her and then to Ur, Gray and Lyon who had just entered the house

"I need more answers from her..."
