"the next fight Keiji Yamada Vs Kumako No Ame" Rin announced Keiji leapt down and landed with cat like grace but Kumako hadn't showed yet "where is he" Rin wondered
Kumako was walking through the tunnel leading to the arena before he was stopped by two ninjas wearing matching brown jackets and bandana's over their lower faces
The headband for Ishigakure around their arms "listen kid our daimyo bet big money on the Yamada brat so do the right thing" one of the ninja pulled out a kunai "and take a dive"
Kumako kept walking pushing past the Ishi ninja's in anger one of them grabbed his shoulder when he did an aura appeared around Kumako an old black bear with a dead eye it's body riddled with weapons making it look like a demon out of hell
"What the"
The bear roared and Kumako turned grabbing one by the bottom of his head he the ninja went flying face first into the wall with a crash blood poured out of the hole
"What the what are you" the ninja asked Kumako pulled out his hand painted red with the Ishi ninja's blood he licked his middle finger clean of the crimson liquid before looking up at the other ninja
Screams echoed through the tunnel seconds later Kumako walked out his hands clean of blood he continued walking and stood across from Keiji
"are both contestants ready" Kumako nodded and so did Keiji nodded
Both nodded "then begin" Kumako and Keiji both leapt back Keiji pulled out a kunai and tossed it at Kumako
Kumako grabbed the kunai out of the air and tossed it down Kumako then bit his hand blood soaked down under his thumb
"Ninja Art blood beast" Kumako said blood continued to fall until it formed into a life sized bear besides him Kumako looked at Keiji with apathetic eyes before issuing a single command

The bear roared and ran at Keiji the Yamada made his own hand sign wrapping the middle fingers around the index sticking out the pinkies and intertwining the thumbs
"Fire style sunlight sea" Keiji said taking in a deep breath and puckering his lips he released a stream of fire the bear leapt to the side but when the fire came within ten feet that widened enveloping the bear and the ground around it in a small fire
"An interesting jutsu releasing a stream of fire that gives the opponent confidence in dodging it it then expands and sets the target ablaze" Sarutobi deduced
What he wasn't called the professor for nothing "did he come up with the jutsu himself"
"He did after studying the great fire annihilation jutsu used by Uchiha Madara"
"I see clearly Chunin material" Sarutobi said "based upon the rest of the match"
When the fire stopped the blood bear had coagulated into a statue easily broken by Keiji "Shave" he said disappearing from view appearing behind Kumako with a kunai in hand
He lashed out stabbing the kunai towards the small of his back but the blade shattered on contact Kumako turned hitting Keiji in the stomach sending him flying
"Moon walk" Keiji called changing his course from forward to up he made more hand signs
"Fire style cinder oven" he called releasing a small barrage of fire balls that exploded on contact
Keiji landed and rushed forward meeting Kumako head on grappling with Kumako Keiji smirked as his body turned red hot and he exploded in a ball of fire
"A clone jutsu with a change in chakra nature" Toph surmised sounding slightly impressed
Kumako was sent flying towards a towering man lion combination wearing Keiji's clothes
"Ah a member of the Balta Clan"
"His mother and sensei are" Seina said
Keiji swung down hitting Kumako with a double hammer fist sending him crashing into the ground he then kicked Kumako sending him flying
Keiji made hand signs "Fire style" Keiji held his hands out to either side a fire ball formed fitting perfectly in the palm of his hand
He thrusted his hands forward and two large comets flew towards Kumako's descending body
"Six king comet" he called opening his mouth and breathing a third fire ball
The three collided creating an explosion and Kumako crashed to the ground leaving a smoking crater
"It seems the match is over"
"No it isn't" Kaigun said Kumako walked out of the crater his arms hanging limply he charged forward and hit Keiji sending him flying he appeared behind him and hit him again
Repeating the pattern until he was above him his feet inches from his chest Kumako held up his hand chakra forming a bear paw
"Kumatsume/Iron body" the two said before Kumako hit Keiji creating an even bigger crater
Kumako dragged Keiji in human form out by the neck "Winner of the match Kumako" Rin called Kumako held up Keiji and began choking him
Rin stepped in unsheathing his sword blue flame surrounded it he held it up to his neck
"you've won boy now put him down or I'll be your next opponent"
Kumako growled but in the end relented releasing Keiji medical ninja's rushed onto the scene putting him on a stretcher
Seina was concerned any father would be but he was also the leader of Kusagakure he couldn't leave he signaled Rin to continue Rin nodded sheathing his sword
"The next and final match of the first round Naruto Uzumaki Vs. Ikuzo Soru"
