Meech Macko: No he can't, when I wrote that genjutsu scene; I was watching his fight against the five kage, he casted a genjutsu on Cee, the raikage's aide and he immediately started feeling pain of using it. He was scared for the usual women being scarier when they're angry, just adding a small comedic thing...guess it backfired. Erza surpassing Sasuke, that scene was just Gray and Erza wishing of hopeful things, they're kids man! sheesh!...it's not a crime for them to think like that.

Chapter 11: Emotions.

"Get off me"

Sasuke's cold warning rang out to Ur but the distraught young mother wouldn't dare move an inch until answers were given to her, her glare intensified and Sasuke could feel her anger resonating onto him, even though he understood her plight; his agitation grew and he locked gazes with her, neither budging an inch.

"I won't tell you again"

One more warning, he reasoned that she would listen but she didn't, the ice sword was inches away from his neck, he knew she wouldn't kill him but he knew that she had lost all sense of reason, it was just a hunch that he managed to draw the connection between the young girl and her mother in front of her, their appearance was the same and hence he had concluded that both of them would be related to each other.

"Tell me right now! Sasuke! what was that?!" she shouted at him, her voice cracking and on the verge of a breakdown "Answer me! that was Ultear, wasn't it!? where is she!? who was that man-Urgh!"

Her back hit the wooden wall behind her and her ice sword fell to the floor, she grunted out in pain as both her hands were placed above her head, his strong right hand had gripped both her hands together and she struggled unable to move, he stood in front of her holding her down as his eyes narrowed, waiting for her to calm down.

"Let me go!" she shouted and Sasuke didn't budge, her jet black eyes glared at him in anger "Tch...this guy, he's injured and he still has this much strength left?...I can't move!"

"Let me go right now! Sasuke!" she shouted once more.

"Calm down"

She blinked as his cold voice hit her, she gritted her teeth "Calm down?! Calm down?!" she began, anger blazing in her features. Sasuke remained calm as he was assaulted by her blazing rage "My d-daughter! she's alive! I've been lied too! Y-you expect me to calm down!? L-let go of me!"

He blinked as the temperature around them began to drop, his eyes slightly widened to see Ur giving off her magical energy, trying to shake him off of her but Sasuke wouldn't move as the ice slowly began to cover the floor beneath her, Sasuke stood his ground and Ur's eyes widened as the ice began to cover his feet, he didn't move as she shouted at her once more.

"L-let go off me!"

He didn't, the ice slowly stopped freezing his legs as he looked to her, her face now bowed down and the bangs of her hair covering her eyes "U-Ultear...s-she's alive...why-y d-did t-this happen?..." slowly tears formed at her eyes and then Sasuke let go off her, she had calmed down in sorrow and he watched as she slowly slumped to the ground, tears freely flowing down onto the floor beneath her. Sasuke remained silent as she watched the young mother grieve, his eyes holding in the anger that was threatening to spill from him.

Anger that had caused her to suffer...she had been lied too in the same way he had been lied too about his brother and it ate away at him. She sobbed uncontrollably, he couldn't do anything but stand and watch as the woman grieved in unbelief. He blinked as she began speaking once more...his ears perked up as she whispered.

"When she was b-born...I felt light shining in my heart and I-I d-dreamed of a future full of h-hope for her. I was so happy then...F-From that tiny little body...w-why...did t-this happen?!" she shouted in agony as she once more broke down in tears, Sasuke stayed still not moving an inch and watched as the young mother sobbed uncontrollably, he didn't say anything rather searched for his shirt in the room, wearing it...he zipped the front portion of his gray shirt and moved to collect his cloak.

Ur blinked as she heard him zip up his shirt and slowly she raised her head to see him reaching for his cloak "W-Wait..." she called out, sobbing "W-Where are y-you-?"

"The doctors..." he answered, his coal black eyes glanced at her "where are they?"

"W-What are y-you going t-to do?!" she called out to him once more, questioning his motive. He didn't answer rather his gaze stayed heavily on her, the atmosphere was tense and she didn't know what was running through his mind. Silence ran heavy once more as she collected her thoughts.

"None of your concern...just tell me where they are" he answered in a cold voice much to her surprise, she blinked and her eyes widened looking to the avenger "No..." she stated, her eyes narrowing "Y-you're not going a-after them..." she stuttered as tears continued to flow from her eyes "You're...i-injured as it is...this i-is my p-problem, n-not you-"

"Your daughter is being manipulated..." Sasuke answered, cutting her words off "Just like how I was."...silencing her. "She's also the one responsible for what happened to Erza" Ur's eyes widened with each word Sasuke spoke, it ate away at her soul, her daughter was being used, she was killing people...because of a man.

"If I find her, I can find the man responsible..."

"Y-You're doing this for E-Erza huh?...y-you've grown attached to her..." Ur said, Sasuke didn't acknowledge the comment and silence reigned between them once more as Ur collected her thoughts, her eyes falling onto the wooden floor below her. He stood still and then her voice rang out to him once more "And how a-are y-you going to f-fight?...y-you're going b-blind"

"Do not mock an Uchiha, I can fight even without these eyes" he answered, pride filling every word he spoke. She scoffed at him "Y-Yeah...right, a b-blind ninja...who's ever heard of that?..." she mocked him, Sasuke didn't move, he knew these insults were coming out of her sorrow and so he didn't say anything just awaited an answer.

"I'm c-coming with you..." she stated, defiance etched into her voice, her jet black eyes locked gazes with the avenger as he let out an amused grunt.

"Hmph...do what you want"

He answered and slowly he watched as Ur slowly got up, her hand grabbing the wooden post beside her; using it as a support; she stood to her full height and looked to her once more "W-We'll leave as soon a-as you get your eyes fixed...I'm not having a b-blind ninja slow me down..."

Sasuke raised his eyebrows in surprise and then turned around, walking away from the woman; "Sasuke?" he stopped as she called out to him, he didn't look back "Thank you..." he didn't acknowledge it, he knew rather that she needed to be alone and so he took his leave, walking out of the room leaving Ur to ponder on what she needed to do.

He walked out of the room and then to the door leading to the exit, he as well needed time to think; he twisted the door knob, opening the wooden door and he walked outside, snow was falling and his gaze lay on each drop that fell; he walked away a few metres from the house, finding a small rock...he seated himself on it, his vision was blurry and his gaze lingered on the snow beneath him. He gritted his teeth.

"Danzo..." He growled out, the elder had the last laugh after all much to his dismay, his palm formed into a fist as he tightened it. "The reverse tetragram seal...tch!" he looked down once more, his gaze steadily on the snow, "There has to be a way back...maybe this magic has something that can help me" he thought out as his right palm lit up with the purple flare, a small purple flame danced on his hand as his gaze lay locked on it. It immediately flickered away as Sasuke closed and tightened his fist.

"If I don't go back then...brother, damn it! there has to be something-!"

"Nii-san!"

He blinked as Erza's small voice rang out to him, he looked to his right to find him and the one of Ur's students walking up to him, he let out an audible sigh as he watched as they came up to him, when she reached him; he questioned her.

"You found him..." he said, a statement more than a question.

"Uh huh!" she nodded her head and a smile graced her lips "he wasn't very far..." she answered and then she looked to the boy beside her "Gray...this is my brother, Sasuke."

Sasuke blinked and inwardly groaned "She's making a spectacle out of me..." his coal black eyes then went to the raven haired boy next to her; their gazes locked against each other as tension between them grew, Sasuke could feel the hositily dripping off from the young boy, he didn't know why though.

"H-Hey..." he murmured, a forced reaction because of Erza and slowly he placed his hands in his pockets and looked away. Sasuke's glare was too much for him and he silently seethed as the avenger just let out a grunt "Hn..."

Gray caught it as he went back to glaring at the avenger, Erza stood in silence unable to comprehend what was going on between the two, but for some reason, she saw sparks flying between her brother and her new found friend, she blanked out as silence reigned between the two and then...

"Tch!" Gray grunted out in anger.

"Hmph..." Sasuke grunted out in amusement.

She blinked before she too dived into the fray, "Nii-san? Gray?...what are you two doing?" it snapped both of them out their stupor, Sasuke looked away while Gray was left in embarrassment looking to Erza "Eh...i-it's nothing" he murmured, the sudden stuttering didn't go amiss by Sasuke who glanced at him.

"Why were you two looking at each other like that?" Erza asked once more, this time her question directed to Sasuke who in turn didn't answer her; ignoring her. She grew agitated as her lone eye then fell on Gray who equally in turn looked away not wanting to explain the silent war between himself and Sasuke. Erza grew confused but before she could question them once again, a voice called out to them.

"So that's where you went, Sasuke"

The said avenger turned his head to look at the owner of the voice, he knew who it was; he blinked, she was looking better than how she originally was, her jet black eyes then fell on Gray and Erza who stood between them "Oh?...you found him Erza?"

"Yes...he was crying about how he was weak" Erza answered, her hands now placed on her waist. leaving Gray to blanch in surprise and he shouted at her, "I was not! stop making up stories!" leaving Erza to blink in surprise "Huh? but you were..."

"That's not the point!" Gray shouted, now blacked out by Erza's straight forwardness, Ur raised an eyebrow in surprise at the mention of "weak"

"Gray?...something happened?" She questioned, concern booming in her voice.

"Nothing" he muttered, looking away from them but Ur caught him sneaking a glance at Sasuke and a smile arose on her face, she looked to the young scarlet haired girl and placed a hand on her shoulder "Erza...did you see Lyon?" she questioned.

"No...I don't know where he is" she answered, leaving Ur to glance near the house.

"How about you and I go search for him? I need to go buy some things anyway..." she called out, Erza looked to Sasuke who remained in motionless, Ur glanced at him and then he watched in surprise as her jet black eyes pointed to Gray and her mouth moved but no voice came out leaving Sasuke to read her lips in annoyance, he let out an audible sigh

"Go on..." he answered and then a smile lit itself up on Erza's face, Ur then slowly looked to her raven haired student. "Gray...stay here and look after the house and...Sasuke." the avenger who in turn narrowed his eyes in annoyance.

"What?! but! why him!? he can look after himself!" Gray answered, irritation brewing in his voice, he glanced to Sasuke who grew annoyed.

"No buts!" Ur answered, silencing him "We'll find Lyon and come back...fine?"

Gray growled out in annoyance and then slowly folded his arms over his chest and looked away from him "Fine..." he watched as Ur smiled at him and then looked to Sasuke "Don't strain yourself"

"We'll be back soon, nii-san" Erza beamed

"Wait..." he called out, both Erza and Ur stopped; he dug into his pant and then threw a small bag to her "Buy something you like..."

"Thanks nii-san!" she beamed at him, Ur just let out a soft chuckle "Oh? looks like someone loves Erza very much" leaving the young girl to blush.

"Hmph" he grunted, turning away from her, his bangs swayed in the cold wind as he then watched Ur take Erza away from him leaving him alone with her raven haired student. Gray blinked at the sudden happiness emitting itself from Erza

"What's with her?...her personality changed the moment she saw him..." he glanced back to Sasuke who remained stationary, silence reigned between them as the two of them watched as Ur and Erza began walking away from them. Sasuke's thought slowly went back to what he had read from Ur's lips.

"Talk to him...huh?...not interested..." He thought out leaving silence reigning in between both him and Gray, the latter who in turn grew agitated, an awkward silence hit both of them, Sasuke knew how to cope, Gray however...

"This is too weird! Ur! why did you leave me alone with him!? we got nothing to say to each other!"

His eyes widened as Sasuke stood up from his seated position on the rock and began to walk away from him, Gray called out to him "Hey! where you going!?" he shouted, Sasuke ignored him and continued his trek. "Ur told you to wait here! hey! can't you hear me!?" he shouted once more but it fell on deaf ears as Sasuke walked away from him and then he watched as the avenger fell to his knees clutching his right eye alerting Gray who ran up to him.

"Hey! you okay!?" Gray asked out.

"Nngh..." he grunted and slowly he panted ignoring the young boy beside him, a few seconds passed and slowly Sasuke arose to his feet once more, Gray blinked as he took in the sight of the amount of bandages the avenger adorned. "Woah...this guy, he's covered in bruises..."

"Hey...don't push yourself" Gray said, looking away from him.

"I don't need a crybaby to tell me that..." Sasuke mocked, his tone cold with an underlying plan at worked, Gray's eyes widened in rage as he looked at the older raven haired boy, his fight tightened.

"Who you calling a crybaby!? duckbutt!?" Gray shouted.

Sasuke was momentarily shaken at the comment, his eyes narrowed as he levelled a glare at Gray who in turn mocked him again "And you actually took down Deliora? don't make me laugh..."

"Hmph...so that's what this is about" Sasuke stated, his eyes now danced in amusement, his little plan had worked, he didn't know why Ur had made him talk to him and so he had done this. Gray's eyes widened as he looked back to Sasuke.

"What?"

"You wanted to kill it, didn't you?" Sasuke questioned, his demeanour now calm but his eyes danced with amusement as he looked down at the young mage.

"That's-!" Gray stopped, his head bowed down in shame as Sasuke looked at him, his fist tightened and he gritted his teeth "Yeah..." Gray admitted "I was supposed to be the one to beat it...it took everything from me and you..." his right hand raised itself up and his index finger pointed itself at Sasuke "You...just took it down like it was nothing..."

Sasuke remained silent as he looked onto the young boy, he could understand why he was frustrated, if someone had defeated Itachi before he could get his revenge then all of his effort would have been for naught, he mused but suddenly once again Gray looked up to him and glared.

"That's why...just like Erza, I'm going to surpass you!" he shouted, determination etched into his voice. Sasuke smirked and Gray gritted his teeth once more.

"'Just like Erza' huh?...try it" he answered, accepting the challenge that the young mage had placed out in front of him and then walked past him to the Ur's house, Gray called out once more in anger "Hey wait!"

"Tell her you like her" Sasuke called out, amusement playing out in his voice. Gray faltered "W-What?! I don't like her!" a low blush heated his cheeks as he glared at the back of the avenger

"Heh..." an amused grunt and Gray chased after him
