Chapter 14: Erza's fight!

Sasuke watched in silence as the third man then retreated leaving him alone with the two girls behind him, he slowly looked back as Erza came running up to him with a grin "Sasuke-nii!" she shouted with glee "That was amazing!"

"Hmph..." Sasuke grunted and the the two siblings looked to the girl infront of them who watched them in wonder and the next words that came out of Nano's mouth made Sasuke's head ache.

"Could you...p-please take m-me back home?"

Sasuke looked at her and closed his eyes in silent contemplation, a few seconds passed as he opened them and questioned her "Why were they after you?"

"Um...I..."

The girl was hesitating much to Sasuke's dismay; that gave him either one of two idea's, she was being held captive and possesed something that they wanted or she was someone important; either way, it was trouble on either side and he did not want nothing to do with it regardless of her reasons.

"I-I posses a magic callled egg knock" she began, Sasuke and Erza blinked at the absurdity of the name; it was something unheard off, Erza keenly listened to her as she continued her explanation "it...speeds up the time inside of an egg." she finished and looked to Sasuke who stood motionless, Erza however was another matter entirely. "Wow!" she gasped out "you can make birds hatch faster then?"

"Birds and any other...creatures which lay eggs" she corrected, a small smile on her face. Sasuke's ears narrowed in on that statement or more importantly on the word "creatures"...it didn't bode well for her atleast from what he had gathered and since the three opponents were hostile towards her, whatever egg she was talking about was probably something dangerous. Sasuke stood in silent contemplation on how to proceed, Erza however looked to him with a determind gaze on her face and she called out to him

"Sasuke-nii! let's take her back to her home!"

Sasuke nearly faultered at the bold proclamation, he knew this was coming but he didn't expect it to pop up this fast, he looked to Erza and then to Nano once more... "And...what was it they were using your magic for?"

"They...have something called a devil's egg at their guild, I don't know what's inside" she stated, Erza's eyes momentarily widened and Sasuke caught it "Devil's egg?" he murmured to himself, it didn't sound good, whatever it was and to make matters worse; it was in the vincity of where Ur and her students lived.

"Sasuke-nii, a devil's egg is said to have a monster inside them just like the one you fought with Ur-san" Erza explained, looking at him determined and he knew what would come next, he let out another sigh

"Erza..."

"Come on! Sasuke-nii! if that egg hatches! there's no telling what will happen here! you saw what that Deliora monster did to that village!" Erza argued, determination and courage was brewing in her voice, she glared at him and he glared back at her; a clash of wills, it was unecessary and he didn't feel like wasting chakra on a trivial matter, their silent argument was momentarily shaken when Nano called out to them.

"You fought a monster?" she questioned, astounded and Erza answered almost immedeatly "Yeah! Sasuke-nii did! he beat it too!"

The statement was a shock to Nano who stood in silent disbelief, she brought up both her hands clutching them together in a pleading motion and then looked to Sasuke "Please! you have to destroy it! there's no telling what could happen if it's hatched!"

And Sasuke found himself on the opposite end of the argument; it was two against one, letting out a defeated sigh; he looked to Nano "Lead the way..."

Nano and Erza looked to each other with a smile and a giggle and then proceeded to lead the way to where the guild was located much to Sasuke's dismay.

Fifteen minutes later, Sasuke, Erza and Nano stood on a snowy cliff overlooking the guild that had once imprisoned her, a snow storm was brewing much to thier dismay, but as soon as he was done with the guild, he could concentrate on the main matter at hand. Nano looked on from the cliff and then to Erza who looked back at her "Is that the guild?"

"Yes...it is" she nodded her head and then looked on as memories of her imprisonment came to her, Erza reminisced as well; she gritted her teeth which didn't go amss by Sasuke; he mused that it was because of her own previous memories and he let out a small sigh and began to walk forward. Erza and Nano followed suite and soon they found themselves a few metres infront of the entrance of the guild. He glanced back to both Nano and Erza and mouthed out a command to them

"Stay behind me..."

They both nodded their heads and then proceeded to open the door infront of them, once done, Sasuke was met with darkness, only the light from the outside door penetrated them. Erza and Nano slowly walked and arrived next to him.

"There's no one here?" Nano questioned in disbelief, Sasuke however remained vigilant but before he could scan the room with his sharingan, a small black ball rolled infront of Erza, Sasuke's eyes momentarily widened as he reached for Erza and Nano immediately.

"Wha-" Erza gasped as Sasuke grabbed her small hand and threw her behind him, it was too late as the latent black orb infront of him exploded and he was covered all over by smaller orbs on his body and around him.

Rolling on her back, Erza recovered from the throw and snapped her head up to see the dreaded sight infront of her "Sasuke-nii!"

"Tch!"

His eyes met hers and in the next instant, Erza and Nano watched in horror as the balls exploded with multiple explosions, Erza's eyes widened as the explosions rocked the entrance and then silence, the smoke slowly cleared and all that remained of the avenger was a small piece of his akatsuki cloth and his blade which had seated itself infront of her.

"N-No..." Erza stuttered "Sasuke-nii..."

She couldn't believe it, Sasuke was done, gone without a trace and she couldn't even do anything to prevent it, she grabbed the snow below her, her hands clawing away at it and slowly, droplets of tears formed at her eyes and she screamed. Nano lay next to her unable to comprehend what had happened

"Sasuke-niii!"

The next second, a sinister laugh echoed from the entrance of the guild Nano watched as a young man appeared before them, wearing the clothes of a circus clown, with only his face showing, he had two rods stationed below his legs making him taller than he ought to be and his face adorned a sick grin.

"So...one down, to think these people were the ones who gave you guys trouble" the man snickered and looked back, behind him stood a plethoria of memebers, Nano blanched in surprise and fear etched into her once more.

"Ah...Nano, how nice of you to come back to us" the man grinned.

"Nez..." Nano stuttered, slowly crawling back.

The man known as Nez simply grinned and looked to the group behind him "Take her", the group slowly surrounded both Erza and Nano, Erza slowly looked up, her tears still freely falling "Sasuke-nii...why..." slowly, she staggered up and stood to her full height.

"I wasn't expecting to take that man down so easily, he looked powerful, heh" Nez simply mumbled to himself "Goes to show you that looks aren't everything..."

"You were the one who killed Sasuke-nii..." Erza mumbled, now shackled by sadness, stood to her full height.

"Hmm? oh you mean that man? yes...I suppose I am" He answered and Erza's head snapped up with an enraged glare.

"I won't forgive you!"

And she sprung to action, jumping at him, Nez's eyes widened and in an instant, a small black ball formed in the palm of his hand, it met Erza's chest and with a small explosion sent her flying back a few metres, she grunted in pain and recovered, rolling on her back once more, surprisingly she had landed next Sasuke's chokuto, memories flooded her of the man she had stabbed.

"I-I...I can't..."

"What? is that it? how boring...men, take them both" Nez called out to his group and they began circling around the two young women "Erza! run!" Nano called out as she was caught by the group.

"Nano!" She shouted out in worry and she gritted her teeth, her eyes slowly went back to Sasuke's chokuto and as the memories tortured, she slowly grabbed the chokuto by it's hilt but didn't draw the blade out

"Just this once..."

She closed her eyes and opened it in the next instant, a pink circle of incantations summoned itself around her, in one hand was Sasuke's chokuto and in the other a sword born from the circle underneath her, she bursted forward and fought the group of boys before her, taking them down with one hit of the chokuto and the hilt of her sword, she weaved and moved with such grace that the grunts around her were left speechless and in the next few minutes, a dozen bodies laid around her unconscious. Nano stood awe struck at the girl in front of her, now free of her captors, she could only marvel at the

"What?! you know how to use magic! you brat!" Nez shouted and once again began forming the explosive balls in his hands, Erza closed the gap in the second and appeared infont of his face, Nez stood dumbfounded as her coal black eyes met his terrified gaze, bringing her right arm that held the chokuto, it met his face sending him sprawling into the guild, Erza landed on her feet, her glare unrealeasing, she followed the recoiled opponent into the guild.

Nez, now slowly recovering from the hit, rubbed his cheek, regaining his sense's, he growled "Damn it..." his gaze shifted back to Erza "You bitch!"

"You killed Sasuke-nii, I won't eve-" her statement was cut short as a slow rumbling echoed through the guild, making it shake "What!?" her lone eye widened as Nez cackled.

"You're too late! the egg is going to hatch and there's nothing you can do!"

And Erza blanched in surprise on seeing the black mass behind him, spikes protruded itself from the shell and it's height reached all the way to the roof of the guild, she staggered back in surprise and then her resolve tightened as she remembered Sasuke's fight with Deliora

"I'll break it!"

"I won't let you!" Nez screamed, dozens of black explosives surrounded Erza, dodging and weaving once more, she moved forward, hoping to silence her opponent once and for all, her blind assault however had cost her as one of the explosives had attached itself to her cloth, her lone eye widened as the explosion claimed her and she was sent skidding back, her coat now turn asunder. Nano stood by the entrance praying for Erza's safety, standing to his full height, Nez looked to her smugly.

"You can't stop it, nice tr-

*BOOM*

His eyes widened as the sound of another explosion rocked itself behind him, his gaze turned back to the egg and found it burning with a...black fire and slowly footsteps caught their attention, Sasuke slowly walked towards him, unscathed and injury free, a sword of black fire in his left hand, Erza now speechless watched as the black fire slowly faded from his hand.

"You!? but I killed yo-"

Sasuke didn't acknowledge the statement as another explosion eroded itself from the egg and a sea of acid came rushing out from it, with blinding speed, Sasuke passed Nez and grabbed Erza who stood dumbfounded at seeing him alive, Nez now alone and vulnerable looked on in dismay at the destruction of his egg and before he could react, the sea of acid washed over him and the guild completely, grabbing Nano as well, Sasuke exited the guild and moving a safe distance away, landed on a cliff.

Slowly placing the two girls on the snow, he watched as the acid eroded the snow below the guild resulting in a complete collapse of both the guild and it's occupants. Erza lay on the snow, unable to comprehend what had just happened, slowly tears began forming at her eyes and before Sasuke could react, she stood and crashed into him sending him staggering back in surprise.

"Sasuke nii! you're alive! I was so scared!" she screamed and began tearing up much to the avenger's dismay, Nano looked on smiling at the two of them, reminiscing of her own family.

Sasuke remained silent, a bit agitated at her slight forwardness but he bared with it for the most part until she had finished her tirade, once her tears had dried up, she looked at his blank face and her cheeks puffed up

"How could you do that, Sasuke-nii!?" She shouted, much to Sasuke's dismay "You scared me! I really thought you were..." she hesitated, looking away from him, "gone..."

And with a tired sigh, he brought up his right hand and with his two fingers poked her forehead sending her staggering back "I'll be more careful next time..."

"Ow! That's not-" she began, Sasuke cut her off once more, removing his cloak, he threw it on her face. Erza now muffled, gasped as she removed the cloak from her face and puffed her cheeks "What was that-"

"Wear it, your coat is ruined..." he stated and Erza's lone eye slowly widened in surprise, she looked to the coat and slowly held it close to her, hugging it, a small smile settling itself on her face" Thanks, Sasuke-nii.."

Nano giggled at their interaction and Sasuke now once again aware of her prescence, looked to her "Is your village far from here?"

She shook her head "No, it's probably just a few minutes away from here..." he didn't look back at her, rather his gaze went back to the collapsed ruins of the guild, he had seen Erza conjure up magic, what kind of magic it was however wasn't known to him.

"Her stance could use some work...I'll have to train her in that regard but that magic...Fairy tail huh? will she be safe there?"

A few minutes later, they had treadled upon Nano's town and as they ventured in, the young girl smiled as memories eroded and flooded her mind, she was home...the only thing left was to return to her parents, gratitude filled her heart at the two people who had helped her come back.

Sasuke's eyes however darted across the area, it was a quaint little town which was drowned out by snow, the cold never bothered him, Erza walked right next to him, marveling at the sights, it was the first time she had seen a town apart from her own one, Sasuke glanced at her, watching her blanch in surprise at the people and her surroundings, a small smirk settled on his face amused at her activities and it quickly died as the memory of his brother shot up inside him and his eyes darkened. His rage combusted itself onto one single entity...Danzo, and his eyes widened at a sudden revelation that came to his thoughts.

"The reverse tetragram seal...did he get transported to this world too? even if he did, he wouldn't have survived...but I have to make sure." thoughts ran rampart and so he decided what he needed to do once his journey with Erza was over.

Find Danzo or what was left of the man.

Erza had quietly glanced at the darkened eyes of the avenger and his sudden brooding had caught her on edge and she worried

"Sasuke-nii, what are you thinking?"

AN: Hiiii there everybody! it's been a long time! a year! I'm so sorry for not updating, and I bet alot of people would've left FF by now, both reviewers and writers but I just wanted to say thank you for reading the story even though it hasn't been updated! also thank you for dropping by reviews telling me to continue it, I was actually thinking of dropping FF altogether but I realized that I have a lot more stories to tell and to read too so I hope you guys enjoy this little journey with me.
