Nunya Bizniz

Chapter Twenty-nine: Nunya's Destination

When she was sure that the Nunya was clear of any type of confrontation, Rachel told Ace and Sabo it was fine to lower the turrets. When the two were done with that, they and Hack joined Zoro and Rachel on the bridge. "Where should we go for now?" Ace voiced most everyones question. "It wouldn't be wise to head too far away from Zou. I would imagine everyone will be heading back there in a day or two."

"I have a suggestion," Sabo spoke up. "We're half a day away from the Revolutionist Island. We can dock there and get more supplies for the ship. I would even go so far as to think they would help Rachel with her equipment if she told them exactly how she feels about the World Government."

Rachel turned her head to address Sabo. "If I told them how I felt about the government I would make all of their ears bleed."

Sabo and Hack wore shocked expressions as Ace laughed outright. Zoro merely focused his entire attention on Rachel, wondering what she meant. Once he calmed down, Ace started speaking again. "The girls can get quite venomous on that subject. One of my favorite descriptions was when Rachel voiced wanting to take a white hot cattle prod and shoving it up Akainu's rear end if she ever came across him." Sabo and Hack both involuntarily shivered at the mental image. Zoro smirked in a sadistic manner.

"You done talking about me like I wasn't here?" Rachel asked. She was giving Ace and Sabo the 'evil eye'. "If everyone agrees then we'll follow Sabo's suggestion." When no one voiced a different opinion Sabo passed an eternal log pose to Rachel. She set it in front of the wheel. "Since it's so late at night, we'll either need to anchor soon or take shifts in operating the Nunya. Ace, you're the only other one here that knows how to operate her. Do you think you can handle going in shifts or do you want to anchor?"

"I'll take over when you get too tired," Ace answered. "I'll head below now for a little nap before hand. Send one of the guys to get me when you get too tired."

Before Ace left, Rachel spoke up again. "Now that we've got that settled. We need to figure out where Zoro is going to sleep. Missy's room is out of the question. First off, she'll kill us. Second, I doubt Zoro will want to stay in an already claimed room. Third, she'll kill us. For now you can either use a cot in Ace's room or sleep on one of the beds in the medical room while Sabo or Hack sleep on the cot. I'm assuming that Sabo would most likely sleep in Ace's room. Once we dock I'll look into finding a more suitable place for you to sleep, Zoro. Who knows how long Luffy will want you to stay with the Nunya."

"I won't be leaving," Zoro pointed out. "Luffy now considers the Nunya as a secondary ship for our crew. I wouldn't be surprised if more of the members that are on the Sunny started filtering over. There are a few that have to stay with Luffy. Like that shitty cook for instance. Others will come over here for one reason or another. I'm sure that Luffy is looking forward to finding more crew members to put on this ship. You don't have a doctor, a navigator or a professional cook."

"We didn't need a doctor on a constant level," Rachel said. "We never got involved in any kind of skirmishes. When Ace was with us the two years he remained out of sight or in disguise so we could still do our business. I suppose now that there's the possibility of getting into fights that a doctor would be useful. Navigator? We did alright without one so far. As for a cook, hell no. I'm a fair hand in the kitchen. We don't need a cook specifically." As the two were starting in on their debate, the other three men filtered out. Ace needed to get a nap in while Rachel was still able to steer the ship.

Once they were out of the room, Zoro got closer to Rachel. She barely noticed, concentrating on looking at their heading. She was startled when she felt Zoro's breath move the fine hairs on her neck, just behind her ear. "I look forward to whatever it is that you prepare," he said. Rachel blushed, a million thoughts swimming through her head. He had been very vague with that sentence and she wondered exactly what it was that he was implying. Not wanting to provoke him though, she remained silent.

Ace took over the bridge around midnight. He sent Rachel off so she could get some sleep. It was just after dawn when the island came into sight. Sabo and Hack stood on the deck. They wanted to make sure that they were out in the open so that they were seen by the guards. It would keep the Revolutionists from attacking the Nunya for getting too close to the island. Ace rang a bell that served as a warning on the bridge. It woke Rachel and brought her and Zoro out onto the deck. All of them were present when they started docking. Once they were docked, Sabo and Hack got off. Sabo turned to look at the three still on board. "I have to go make my report," he said. "Wait here and don't cause trouble until I get back."

"Does that mean we can cause trouble when you get back?" Rachel asked innocently. "That's good to know."

Sabo shook his head and rolled his eyes. He had finally gotten used to Rachel's sense of humor. Before the incident in Dressrosa he wouldn't have been able to tell if she was joking or not. Now, however, he knew she meant no harm. He walked off, towards the building. Hack was following after him.

"I suppose that it's time to make breakfast," Rachel turned to head below. "I'm not going to wait up here for him to come back, twiddling my thumbs."

Sabo and Hack stood in front of a desk. A man was standing behind said desk, back to them as he stared out the window. "That's the ship you came on?" he asked.

"Correct sir," Sabo answered.

"Interesting that it doesn't use sails. How does it move through the water?"

"It has a special energy and propulsion system," Sabo explained. "It was designed and built by two women. One of them is currently on board as we speak."

"Where is the other?"

"We were caught off guard by Kaido's approaching ship. She had to make her escape on a different ship. There wasn't enough time for us to get her and make our own escape. When they leave, they plan to head back to that island to meet up again."

"Who is on that ship right now?"

"As I said, one of the designers for the ship. Her name is Rachel. With her is 'Fire Fist' Ace and 'Pirate Hunter' Roronoa Zoro."

"Roronoa Zoro? You mean one of the Straw Hat crew is here?"

"That's not entirely accurate," Sabo corrected. "I'm sure her wanted poster didn't merit your attention so you wouldn't know. However, after the events on Dressrosa the government declared Rachel and her sister to be the newest members of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy then decided that he would make the assumptions true and declared them his crew shortly thereafter."

The man let loose a low chuckle. "I'm not at all surprised," he said. "What do you know of their abilities?"

"For Missy, Rachel's sister, I'm afraid I don't know much. I never had the opportunity to witness her engage in battle. Rachel, on the other hand, is proficient in weapon designs and sniper attacks. She's the one that shot Akainu at the battle in Marineford that saved Ace's life." The man behind the desk finally moved. He turned around to face Sabo, searching for a sign that he doubted that information. Sabo stood firm in his words. After what he had seen, he didn't doubt Rachel. "I also witnessed her make a nearly impossible shot on Dressrosa. She was half a city away and she managed to shoot one of Doflomingo's top executives in the head with a Sea Prism Stone bullet. I saw the gun she had used to make the shot. It's unlike anything I've ever seen.

"Then, as we were escaping Dressrosa, we witnessed another impossible weapon. She built a cannon into the hull of that ship. When it fires the bullet, what she calls a torpedo, it travels at incredible speeds under the water. In one hit it sunk Big Ma'am's ship. That is only a fraction of the weapons she has at her disposal."

"You speak quite highly of her abilities," Dragon commented.

"They're worth note," Hack added. "The weapons and her views on the government. She doesn't have a kind word to say about them."

Dragon moved around his desk and headed for the door. "It would seem that I must meet this young lady then," he said. "It could prove to be quite beneficial to our cause."
