Nunya Bizniz

Chapter Thirty-three: In Business

While Missy was busy trying to castrate Law, Rachel and Ace went to retrieve BB from the shoreline. When they returned Law had seemingly disappeared and Missy was busy at work fixing the malfunction his orders caused the system. Rachel wasn't too surprised that Law had found a hiding place on the Sunny. Missy wasn't anywhere near as familiar with that ship as she was the Nunya or the sub.

When Missy finished fixing the sub's system, those on the Nunya were already settling down for the evenning meal. She stormed in and took her normal seat after getting herself a plate and silverware. Without a word of greeting to anyone, she started piling food on her plate and eating without remorse. "Are you single again?" Rachel asked.

"Unfortunately no," Missy said. "I still haven't found him."

"You do realize that you overreacted," Rachel pointed out. "It wasn't his intent to blow up the ship. He was looking for an excuse to spend more time with you."

"You and your logic can shut up," Missy growled. "Just let me be mad for a little while."

"Missy, you've been mad for nine hours. Holding a grudge much?"

Missy stopped what she was doing and looked at Rachel. "It's been nine hours?" she asked. When Rachel nodded she went back to eating. "I must be loosing my touch. Normally I wouldn't listen to reason for thirty-six hours."

"That was before I started threatening to light gun powder in the bathroom while you take a shower."

"I called your bluff once," Missy chuckled. "Worse day of my life. I thought we were under attack. I went running out in my towel."

"Yeah," Ace deadpanned. "Worse day of my life too." He then looked to Rachel. "Don't ever do that again." He was silenced by a spoon hitting him in the forehead. Sabo just shook his head at the scene. Dragon was smirking at their antics. It felt like he was back at Head Quarters. Everyone got along so well that they were one large, dysfunctional family.

The thought of family made him think of Luffy. His reaction to meeting his father wasn't unexpected. For starters, Luffy didn't even know who his father was until his grandfather let it slip and that was just over two years ago. For a few years Garp raised Luffy and then sent him off to be raised by mountain bandits. His personality was quite selfish as a result of that. However, Dragon was still glad his son turned out the way he did. He lived his life how he wanted, full of freedom. That's what being a pirate was all about. Freedom to live out their lives as they chose. Some took that to extreme and needed to be dealt with, pirates like the Straw Hats and Red-Hair Pirates were a cut above the rest though. With his alliance to Luffy and the others Law was quickly becoming one of the pirates Dragon considered good people.

Once the dishes were cleared and the food taken care of, Rachel dragged Missy over to where Dragon was. "I'm assuming you've already guessed who this is," Rachel said out of his ear shot. "Especially since you haven't pestered me about it." Once they were close enough for him to hear them Rachel started introductions. "Missy, meet Monkey D. Dragon. He's the leader of the Revolution and Sabo's boss. Dragon, this is my business partner and sister Melissa. But that's a mouthful so just call her Missy."

"I can introduce myself Rae," Missy snapped.

"Rae? I thought your name was Rachel," Dragon pointed out.

"It's a nickname," Rachel shrugged. "To be more specific, the nickname I was given at the age of fifteen is Raerae. It's pretty fitting if you think about it. But that's neither here nor there. Missy, Dragon would like to purchase our services. He wants us to equip his ships and fortress with solar energy and weapons."

"Rae," the way Missy said it had a hint of warning to it.

"I already know what you're going to say," Rachel put a hand up. "But that promise we made doesn't really apply anymore. The government decided to make us their enemy when they declared that we were pirates before bothering to get their facts straight. It only stands to reason that, as pirates, we do everything we can to take them out. If more than just the Nunya has the weapons and energy that we utilize then it'll give the government one helluva fight. Let's not forget to mention the fact that the government is willing to kill innocent children to hold onto their power. I think it's time that someone knocked them off of their high horse."

Missy stood in silence, watching Rachel for a moment. Rachel stared back, nothing but conviction and determination in her eyes. The only part of Rachel's argument that cinched it in her favor was mentioning the children. The only reason Missy didn't do anything to them yet was because she tried not to think of it. Now that Rachel brought it up, it lingered. How many innocent people died in Dressrosa because the government turned a blind eye to Doflomingo and let him do whatever he wanted? Missy didn't want to think of the statistics, but her mind wouldn't let it go. With a sigh, Missy nodded her head. "It's a good idea," she finally said. "But you better believe we're charging you a butt load for the size of the order."

Rachel called for a meeting for all the captains of the ships. Considering that Nunya didn't have a technical captain, her entire crew was present for the meeting. Bepo joined Law on behalf of the Heart Pirates. The entire crew on Sunny was there as well. They couldn't trust their captain to make rational decisions. "The Nunya is going to disappear for a little while," Rachel started. "We've agreed to supply the Revolution with power and weapons to fight the government. It will take us a month to show the shipwrights and other workers how to build our goods. After that, we'll be heading out to sea again."

"You want us to hold off on the plan for a month so that the two of you can earn a little money?" Law demanded.

"No one said that you had to tag along with us," Missy pointed out.

"Like I'm letting you out of my sight," Law retorted. "I just got you, I'm not going to give you a chance to change your mind."

"It's not a problem," Luffy said. "You can take all the time you want."

"No they can't Straw Hat-ya," Law snapped.

"You're goal is to destroy the emperor system, right?" Rachel asked. Law turned his gaze to her and nodded once. "Dragon has agreed to use our weapons only on the government, emperors, deserving warlords and other pirates that deserve it. His fleet has a larger reach than our three ships do. Things will get done faster."

"You mean we won't necessarily need to lift a finger," Robin put in. When Luffy gave Robin a confused look she elaborated. "Instead of you having to fight Shanks or any other emperor, you can concentrate of finding the One Piece."

"Blackbeard is mine," Luffy announced.

"The hell he is," Ace snapped. "That motherless pig killed Whitebeard. As one of his former commanders it's my duty to make him pay for it. Honor demands that it be someone that was part of the Whitebeard Pirates."

"He had you arrested and nearly killed for his own gain," Luffy charged back.

"Unsuccessfully," Ace returned. The other people of the crew watched the verbal match go back and forth.

Nami stepped between the bickering brothers, a hand on each of their faces. "That's enough out of you two," she snapped. She then turned to look at Rachel and Missy. "How much will this side trip be making?"

"Enough to fund the Nunya for four years," Missy said. Her eyes were looking to the sky as she was pondering that.

Nami got right in her face, beri signs in her eyes. "Do you guys need an accountant or a banker to take care of it all?" Missy blinked at Nami's closeness while Rachel laughed at the situation.

"I suppose that there's no helping it," Sanji blew out some smoke. He tapped the ashes off of his cigarette. "When a lady makes up her mind it's the duty of the men around her, or them in this case, to ensure that her wishes are met. Which means that it's our sacred duty as men to bring Rachel and Missy to the Revolution Headquarters and guard them with our very lives until their job is complete."

"Who says we'll need bodyguards?" Rachel asked. Without a word Zoro put his hand on her shoulder. It was his way of saying she didn't have much of a choice.

"It's not a good idea," Law continued to argue. "It's going to set all of our plans back by a month."

"You haven't exactly shared those plans you know," Nami pointed out. "So it's understandable why we would agree to this. It's not like the emperors are going anywhere. More importantly, it's obvious that two of those emperors are after us. It will give us the perfect opportunity to regroup and think of a strategy."

"Let's not forget that if Big Ma'am were still alive the number would be three and not two," Missy said.

"That reminds me," Sanji turned to look back to the Sunny. "What exactly are we supposed to do with Clown? He's no longer a bargaining chip against Doflomingo and Kaido will use him for his false devil fruit. I suppose we could turn him into the government. Although I am positive that they will hide his actions, possibly even torture him into working behind the scenes for them."

"We can't free him," Chopper snapped. "After what he did to Macha and the other children back on Punk Hazard? It's inexcusable and he should be punished."

"That's where I come in," Dragon said. "I have the facility needed to hold devil fruit users as prisoners. We can take care of his punishment. It will have to wait until a new government is formed, however. If we extract punishment on him now then it will make us no bettter than him. If he's tried and punished using the law then there's no issue. It is like you say though, the current government will hide his actions and then use him for their own gain. We'll hold him until it's appropriate to pass trial and judgement. We'll also get in contact with the families of the children when it's time."

"The only one that really knows would be that woman Marine captain," Zoro said. "She was the one that returned the kids home."

"Which female captain?" Sabo asked.

"He means Tashigi," Robin said. "She works with Smoker."

"I know that team well," Dragon smirked. "I had a run in with Smoker before. He's not entirely unreasonable."

"I think we've gotten off topic," Missy stated. "Whatever debate all of you want to have, it doesn't change the facts. Rachel and I are going to equip the revolution and that's that."

"Let's get this crab on the road... OW!"
