Okay, first things first. I am so sorry it took so long to update! I procrastinate waaay to much...

Now second things second. I got this review from Ultimate susano'o, who pointed out that in one of my chapters, Luffy said he never lost anyone important to him, but it was in what? The first chapter (?), where Luffy mentioned that he lost his mom to pirates. So when I read that review, I thought "Holy crap, you're right!" And now I just want to say sorry for making that mistake, and thank you Ultimate susano'o for pointing that out. And if that really bothers some of my readers, just think of it this way: Luffy was around seven when he met Shanks, so that's pretty young. And the way I planned it (minor spoiler alert for my future chapters), Luffy's mom died when he was a baby, so he doesn't really remember her mom's death. And the way he found out was from his grandpa. And since Luffy never really knew his mom, her death didn't affect him so much (harsh, I know, but the truth). He still loves her, and misses her, though.

I'm not sure if that whole paragraph made it any better or worse, but hopefully, I explained it right so it made sense. Now, enjoy the long awaited chapter 9! *applause sign*

Zoro

"FINE, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" Zoro screamed as he unsheathed one of his swords. An evil smile appeared on his face as he said, "I think I'm going to have bird noodle soup tonight!"

The bird let out a frightened sound as it abruptly let go of Zoro's shoulders. Gracefully landing on his feet, Zoro dusted off his pants while muttering, "Damn, I was serious too..." He raised his head and looked around at the surprised faces of both citizens and marines, then he spotted Nami's surprised face. "Oh look, I'm here." He casually said.

"Zoro... what...?" Nami was speechless.

He stormed over to her as he demanded "Do you know how much trouble I went through, looking for you?! And just because you had to sneak off like that!"

An anger look appeared on Nami's face as she got up and shouted, "Well I thought you guys were handling it just fine! What? You wanted me to stay for moral support?!"

"Like hell I do! It was because we heard you were in trouble, that I came running here to save your sorry butt!" They were face to face now, both of them steaming with anger.

"I was-"

"Ah- hem." The leader of the marines cleared his throat and both Nami and Zoro turned their heads to glare at him.

"What?!" Zoro snapped, narrowing his eyes at him.

Whispers were heard among the marines.

"It's him!"

"What's he doing here?"

"I thought Roronoa Zoro was being held captive by Axe- Hand Morgan..."

"No, didn't you hear? Axe- Hand Morgan was arrested for abusing his power and Roronoa Zoro was let free for being proved innocent."

"Oh so that's it? But of all places, why is he here?"

Their leader gulped as he said "We are in the middle of something, um, Roronoa Zoro. If you do not leave immediately, you will be involved in this, uh, conflict."

Zoro looked around him and saw bodies, both the citizens and the marines, lying unconscious on the ground. Everywhere he looked, all he saw, was a battle that was being fought, but has been interrupted by him. Then he noticed that Nami has silently gone back to some girl's side. He didn't know who she was but, she was lying on the ground with a bullet wound and from Nami's face, she was clearly someone important to her.

He narrowed his eyes, before he gave the marine leader an evil grin (which made him sweat drop). "Well, I do like a fight... What the hell?" He asked, as he charged forward, knocking down all the marines he saw.

The battle continued, and now that Zoro has shown up, the tides have changed, and the citizens of Cocoyasi village, were now winning.

About five minutes later, all the marines were now lying down on the ground, unconscious.

Zoro sighed, "That was too easy. I wish they could have made it a little more challenging."

"Forget about that! Everyone is injured! We have to help them!" Nami cried as she looked around her.

"How the hell am I suppose to do that?! I'm no doctor!" Zoro shouted.

"You two may not be able to treat everyone, but I can." A voice said, as he walked forward.

"Dr. Nako!" Nami exclaimed happily, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

He shook his head, "No, no, I'm fine. I'm one of the few lucky ones that didn't get any serious injuries. So, it's my job to help everyone now."

"But... there's so many injured people... You can't treat them, all by yourself!" She cried.

"It's no big-"

"There they are! We finally found them!" A voice shouted.

Everyone turned their heads to find dozens of marines all running towards them.

"More marines?" Zoro hissed.

"Those are Luffy's subordinates." Nami recognized, "Where have they been?! They were supposed to be making sure everyone was safe!"

"Oh, well..." Dr. Nako scratched his head sheepishly, "Because they wouldn't let us come help you, we sort of forced our way past with our numbers..."

Nami sighed, "That explains a lot."

"What happened?!" One of Luffy's marines demanded. They looked around at Nezumi's marines and quickly realized what happened before Nami could answer them. Without saying another word, they all spread out to heal the injured.

When Nami, Zoro, and Dr. Nako got a confused look on their faces, one of the marines explained "Since Captain Luffy has a habit of getting himself in danger; we've all been trained in medical skills."

"Why am I not surprised?" Nami sighed.

"Since they seem to be safe now, we should get back to Luffy." Zoro said.

"Right!" Nami exclaimed. She looked back at the marine that was treating Nojiko and smiled before running off with Zoro to Arlong Park.

Hardy

Laughing sadistically, Nezumi reached into his pocket for more prws, but came out empty handed. He stopped laughing and cursed under his breath.

"Looks like you're all out." Hardy smirked, slowly getting up.

"Not exactly." Nezumi said, "I've been wondering when I can try out my new whiskers... literally..." A confused look appeared on Hardy's face as Nezumi started stroking one of the whiskers that seemed to be attached to his face. Then, surprising Hardy, Nezumi plucked the whisker right off of his face. Another one grew back in the same place. "You're lucky. You'll be the first to be hit with one of these."

"You're going to hit me with those? The ones that you pulled off of your face? You're using it as a... weapon? That's creepy." Hardy stated, shaking his head.

"Let's see how creepy it is, after this!" Nezumi threw it past Hardy, hitting the wall behind him. But instead of stabbing in the wall, it bounced right back at Hardy, hitting him in the back. He small cry of pain escaped from his lips.

He laughed, "Let's see how you'll handle these!"

He threw another one at him, but Hardy noticed it and quickly dodged it, but as expected, it bounced off the wall. Instead of hitting Hardy though, like it did last time, it flew in another direction and continued to bounce randomly until it found it's mark and hit Hardy in the back again.

Bingo, Hardy thought as he ignored the pain and ran a few feet behind him, and then quickly took a step to his left.

"What, you think moving farther away from me will help you? Are you trying to run away now?" He smirked as he threw another one.

This time, Hardy dodged it again. "In your dreams." He replied as he carefully watched the whisker bounce from wall to wall, until it finally found it's mark. However, instead of hitting Hardy, it hit Nezumi in the chest.

He let out a loud cry of pain as he dropped to his hands and knees, breathing heavily. Hardy walked toward him.

"There's the weakness in those types of whiskers; they're uncontrollable once it bounces off a wall. The first hit was just luck."

Nezumi slowly got back up, muttering "Damn. The poison on this is stronger than I thought." He glared at Hardy and asked "How would you know exactly where to stand, so it would hit me?"

Hardy smiled "I may not have a Devil Fruit and be as strong as my Captain, but I have something he doesn't. Brains. Doing some math in my head, I figured out where to stand so those whiskers of your would hit the walls at the right angles until it finally got you."

"Damn you! But it doesn't matter. The poison should be getting to you in 3... 2... 1!"

Hardy started to whistle innocently until Nezumi shouted "DAMN IT! Why are you still alive?!"

"Your poison may be one of the strongest in the world, but nothing can match Magellan's poison. Remember this; never stick around Luffy when he gets Magellan mad." He shuddered from the memory.

"But you were in pain! Which means they still affected you!"

"Nope, not at all. I cried out in pain because, like I told you before, I hate needle." With that, Hardy put his hand in a fist, and with all the strength he had, he punched hard in the face, knocking him out unconscious onto the floor. He checked his watch. "Oh, I was wrong." He casually said, "It's been five minutes and 2 seconds."

Luffy

Luffy laughed from excitement as he jumped up to avoid someone that was about to tackle him, and then he ducked to avoid a sword to the head. 12 gunshots rang out, and Luffy stayed where he was, letting the bullets bounce off of him and back at some of the pirates.

"Shishishi!" He laughed as he pummeled all the pirates to the floor. In a matter of seconds, everyone but Arlong was knocked unconscious.

"I see that wasn't a big challenge." Arlong mused, "But I won't be so easy!" He ran forward and Luffy prepared to dodge from his attack.

Expecting Arlong to give him a punch, Luffy got confused when he noticed Arlong open his mouth wide. With a small yelp, Luffy quickly ducked down. When Arlong backed away, Luffy got up, now looking at the newly created hole in the wall.

He gulped while Arlong gave a loud laugh "Do you see now why fishmen are far more superior then humans? Our strength is limitless!"

A hard look came into Luffy's eyes as he said "If your strength is limitless, than my strength will match yours, and then double it!"

"Words of a fool!" He snapped, "I've had enough of this game. It's time to finish this!"

"Ooh! Flying time!" An evil glint came in Luffy's eyes.

"Flying... time?" He tilted his head, wondering if he's gone crazy... or maybe, flying time was code word for something. Yeah, that was probably it. He's a marine, of course they would have code words, so that the enemy wouldn't know what they were talking about. But what does flying time mean?

While Arlong was deep in thought, trying to figure out what flying time meant, he didn't notice Luffy stretch his right arm back until it touched the wall.

"GOMU GOMU NO..."

This snapped Arlong back to reality. His eyes widened as he realized what Luffy was about to do.

"PISTOL!" He let his arm snap forward to punch Arlong in the gut, but it seemed that Arlong's reflexes were incredible because he jumped up, above Luffy's arm before he could get it. Too bad for Arlong though, Luffy's reflexes were better. At the last second, Luffy steered his arm up at the roof, at Arlong who was still in the air.

The punch made contact to his chest and sent him crashing through the roof and every floor in the building until they were at the very top floor.

Feeling irritated, Luffy stretched his arms to the top floor and sprung himself up.

"Damn it, why did you have to move?" Luffy muttered as he landed on his feet, "I wasn't able to send you flying."

"So that's what you meant by flying time." Arlong said as he shakily got back up on his feet.

"Huh? What other meaning is there?" He asked, turning his head 180 degrees.

"Never mind that, you destroyed half of the maps up here!" He growled, "How are you going to repay all of this?" He gestured at piles and piles of torn up paper lying on the floor, from Luffy's Gomu Gomu No Pistol.

"Huh?" He looked around the room, just noticing all the books and paper, "You did all of this work? Good Job! And I thought you were just some good for nothing pirate!" He exclaimed, clapping Arlong on the back.

Arlong's mouth dropped, not realizing that there could actually be someone this stupid. "NOT ME, YOU FOOL! THAT NAVIGATOR DID ALL OF THIS!"

"Huh? What navigator? Navigator... navigator..." He put his finger and thumb on his chin, while tapping his foot, trying to think. Finally, it wasn't until his face was completely red and steam blew out of his ears that he finally realized who it was. "Oh! You're talking about Nami! She did say that she could navigate too. She even gave some pointers to my mine, but I wasn't really paying attention."

"Why am I not surprised." Arlong muttered.

"Wait a minute... Nami said that she worked for eight years, making maps for you..." He walked around the room, looking at all the maps when his eyes finally rested on the desk. "Why is that pen covered in blood?" He asked as his hand went into a fist. His hat covered his face as he turned around to look at Arlong.

"Why do you think? That navigator tried to run away a few times, so I had to put her back in place and show her who was the boss around here. That's what friends are for after all." His face twisted into a cruel smile.

"Nami." Luffy muttered, his fist shaking in anger.

"What was that?"

"I SAID NAMI! HER NAME IS NAMI! AND YOU ARE NOT HER FRIEND!" He punched the wall next to him and the next thing Arlong knew, Luffy was throwing one of the bookshelves out of the newly made hole.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Arlong barked, "Do you know how many years it took for Nami to do all that work?!"

"Eight years!" Luffy shouted as he threw piles and piles of maps out.

"You! Stop that! I'll destroy you! You humans are no match for us fishmen! You have now made enemies of us!"

"Let me make things clear to you..." He grapped the desk and tossed it at the wall, creating another hole. "I don't care about how powerful your fishmen species is." He threw a punch at Arlong, but he ducked, while growling at Luffy. "I don't care how important the map is." Stretched out his leg, sweeping all of the maps outside. "I don't care all about that stuff. But I finally know how to help her." He threw the last of the bookshelves outside.

Nami

"What the hell? What is Luffy doing up there?" Zoro asked as he and Nami saw more and more bookshelves fall out of the building.

"Luffy..." Nami barely whispered as she covered her mouth with her hand, tears falling out.

Arlong

I stumbled backward, tripping over a book and falling on my butt. It was undignified for a fishmen such as myself, but who wouldn't cower in fear if they saw the sight I was seeing right now?

I looked up at him. No, it wasn't supposed to be like this. I was supposed to look down on him! So why was it the other way around? Who was this marine? This inferior being. He was... terrifying.

That look of pure hatred he was giving me. I didn't know that a fool such as himself could even have that kind of hatred. I must have been imagining it, but I swear, I saw a faint glow on him. A glow that radiated power. This was the wrath of Monkey D. Luffy. I will remember this name... if I survive.

"I can't allow this room to exist. This is the room she never wanted to stay in. I will destroy all of it!" He stretched his leg high above the building, breaking the roof. He stretched it to heights I would have never believed possible, even for a rubber man. Then, he let it fall down, crushing me, along with Arlong park.

So how did you like the ending? I thought I would change it up a bit by changing to Arlong's POV. And the reason why I put Luffy's whole speech in italic, was because it was a quote from the actual anime/manga and I really liked. Oh, and that whole thing with Luffy's glowing, I might build up with that in future chapters. And a little heads up, I plan on getting off the storyline (even I already have, somewhat...) because I don't know about you, but it is really boring to keep fanfictions on the storyline.

Don't forget to review! Until next time, later!
