Author's Notes
To JP-Ryder, we are so close to finishing the story, and yes I do know how it will end. As for all of the obscure villains featured last chapter, I used the one source I always use when searching for minor peons - Wikipedia, and there are certainly a lot of criminals out there. I looked to the minor ones because Belle Reve can't be staffed entirely with major criminals, and quite a few of them are already dead.
To minerbuilder12, you'll see momentarily if your hunch is correct, though you may already have an answer depending on how well you know me and my style.
Now, let's continue the story.
To look for his former ward and his team, Batman has logged into the Watchtower computer to try and pin point the Titans' location. Bruce was trying to track them down vigorously, since he doesn't want to loose his adopted son and his friends by the hands of Waller. He knew that Nightwing and his team would break Raven out of Belle Reve and would even leave their communicators behind.
The dark knight should've known that once they've learn the truth about Waller and Brainiac, the Titans will do at nothing to break Raven out of prison. He would even admit to himself that he'll save a friend who was set-up the same way Raven did, though the circumstances would be different. He then starts to look over at the cameras from the prison to look for them, but to no avail they're not in camera range from the outside perimeter. Knowing Waller, she was expecting the Titans to break her out, meaning the Titans were heading straight into a trap. And without their communicators, the Titans couldn't be warned.
However, his search has been interrupted when he gets a call from Black Canary, as he is forced to answer. "I'm kind of busy with something important, Dinah." he told her.
"Well this is important as well, Bruce." Canary told her oldest friend. "We have another body."
This cause Batman to stop as he turns to her through the video feed "Who did you find?" he asked wondering if its another Leaguer. "Is another of our friends dead?"
"No, one of your enemies." Black Canary told him. "We found Harley Quinn...she's dead."
This cause Batman to look shocked but he didn't show. His eyes widen when he heard the news "I'm going to the teleporter to go into your location. Stay where you are once I get there."
"I'm already with Flash and Question, they're investigating her corpse to look for the cause of death." Black Canary told him as Batman gets to the teleporter as he is transported to the location of where Harley's body was found. He saw Flash and Question investigating the now found and wet drenched body as the dark knight looks at her corpse. He shivers when he saw Harley's face with a permanent grin on her face as well as the bruises around the neck.
"How did she die?" Batman asked them.
The Flash, known for his forensics expertise as Barry Allen explained "She was drowned near the lake area which is where we found her. Bruises around the neck area speculating that she was strangled. There was a struggle as the bruises from her knees stated that she was pinned down by another pair of knees, and was punched in the stomach."
"Sounds like a fight that not even she can win." Black Canary states knowing from her past experience with the harlequin through combat.
"There was also some bruises on her wrists. She was grabbed with hands larger than hers, but more of the stronger hands of a person of 6'3". Then she was thrown into the lake, the killer drowns her as her lungs were filled with water, enough to kill her." Flash finished as the Question points something on her person.
"There's something taped on her chest." The crackpot theorist said as he uses his gloved hand to grab it from her chest as Batman sees the object as it says PLAY ME on it.
"A tape recorder." Batman said as the Question press play, wondering if something was recorded as they listen to the recording.
"I can't believe you, Deadshot!" shout the voice as Batman recognizes the voice was Harley Quinn, sounding angry and betrayed as slapping and hitting can be heard. "I can't believe you would do something like this!"
"It had to be done, Quinn." replied another voice, Deadshot as he sounds intimidating. "Besides, Joker needed to die in the first place."
"But have him to die as a part of Waller's plans all along!? You knew this would happened to poor old Mistah J!" Harley cried out in the voice recording as Batman heard her grunting and struggling as he heard Deadshot spoke to her.
"Well good news for you, clown. Since you love to meet your old boyfriend in hell, you're next." Deadshot's voice said as the last thing the Leaguers hear was Harley's scream and choking noise.
"Oh man, poor Harley." Flash said looking down at the dead villainess.
"Nobody's safe anymore. Not even Waller's own henchmen." Batman said as he is determined to bring Waller and her Task Force X to justice or there will be more body bags. And now he really needed to get in touch with the Titans - they were now well on their way to death and they didn't even know it.
At Belle Reve, the riot had now been quashed and the inmates were forced in line by Warden Amanda Waller, Deputy Warden Steve Economos, and the assorted security, resulting in all of the inhibitor collars being secured, rendering the few inmates whose collars had been deactivated powerless.
In addition, there were more than a few casualties - about sixteen guards were injured, though none critically so - mostly broken bones and bruising. Among inmates, however, close to one hundred seventy of the four hundred-plus inmates were casualties with around ninety wounded and another eighty dead, including Mist, Firefly, and Raven.
The half-demon had been struck by a punch from Cheetah that caused her to collapse and thus stop breathing. It would take a coroner to fully examine what happened, though the most likely suspects would be a brain hemorrhage or a skull fracture.
As Raven lay on the floor, Ravager kept holding on to Raven's hand, vainly looking for a pulse, any sign that she was still alive. Nothing could distract her from her fallen love, not even the arrival of the coroners. As they came to take Raven's body, Ravager was fighting them off, forcing one to grab and drag her away as Raven's body was carried away on a stretcher.
Carried into a closet, the coroner that grabbed Ravager whispered, "Rose, we're here to get you out."
Ravager then added, "Okay then, Bird Boy. Does the alien have Raven?"
"Yes. Starfire is bringing Raven to the coroner's truck. Follow me and I'll get you out of here. And nice performance out there."
Following Nightwing, Ravager tried to see how the acrobat Titan was going to get her out of there. Going to the vent, Nightwing removed it and Ravager proceeded to hop into the vent, followed by Nightwing, who made sure to reseal the vent so nobody could tell they had used it.
Crawling through the vents, the two both knew that the infrared lasers would keep them from using the vents to get out of Belle Reve, but they could navigate to say the garage...where Cyborg and Animal Man were already present with the stolen coroner's van.
It took them a couple of minutes to crawl through and reach the garage, where Ravager was pulled out by Starfire and Nightwing pulled out by Cyborg. They had already loaded Raven into the coroner's van and put a large sheet over her immobile body; the Titans then stashed Ravager right beneath, along with the bag containing her uniform and katanas. Cyborg stayed in the back along with Animal Man, with Starfire and Nightwing taking the front two seats (Nightwing driving the van). Buckling in, Nightwing started the van and drove out of the garage towards the gate out of Belle Reve.
Before they could get out, they were met by the gate attendant, Briscoe. He said, "Identification, please."
Nightwing pulled out an identification card that falsely said he was part of the Terrebonne Parish Coroner's Department. Nightwing retorted, "Any issues?"
Briscoe noted, "You don't look all that familiar to me." Staring into Nightwing's shades, which hid his eyes (and thus his true identity), Briscoe tried to see if the driver was in fact a fraud.
Nightwing commented, "I'm new."
"Your credentials are in order, so okay." Opening the gate, Briscoe allowed the van containing the Titans to exit. Before pulling out, Nightwing shrugged, "I suggest you get some more coroners here" before driving off far away from Belle Reve.
Once they were well out of the sight of Belle Reve, Nightwing told Cyborg, "Okay, we're clear. Let's do this." With that, Cyborg removed the sheet covering Raven's body, revealing Ravager, who had already managed to change out of her Belle Reve uniform and back into her regular outfit, excluding the mask.
However, she wasn't quite finished as she took one of her katanas and then proceeded to slice off her inhibitor collar, leaving no trace of blood on her neck.
Meanwhile, Cyborg got out two IVs, making sure one was filled with water as the other was empty, hooking in an intake IV for the one filled with water and an outflow IV for the other, the one that would remove the Demon's Hand concentrate. Lastly, Cyborg ripped off Raven's inhibitor collar to prevent any more of the Demon's Hand concentrate from getting into her blood.
It didn't take long for them to begin seeing results, watching as a blue fluid started to drip from Raven's veins into the empty IV bag as water started to go in. Ravager asked Cyborg, "So tin head, what are you doing to Raven?"
Cyborg explained, "Raven was framed. The whole trial was a sham to get her in Belle Reve, where they used her inhibitor collar to inject her with a concentrate of the Demon's Hand, thereby turning her into another of Waller's pawns."
"Warden Amanda Waller? What the fuck is she up to?"
"I take it you wouldn't know, but Waller has been orchestrating the mass murder of heroes and villains, anyone that could stand in the way of her aspirations for power."
After hearing what Cyborg said, Ravager started to get a headache, forcing her to sit down. Animal Man asked the one-eyed mercenary, "Yo, Rose, is anything wrong?"
Ravager muttered to herself, "That bitch fucked my mind." Uncertain of what he heard, Animal Man inquired, "What was that?"
"Everything's coming back to me, Beast Boy. Huge chunks of my memory were altered by Waller."
From the front of the vehicle, Nightwing asked, "What do you mean, Rose?"
"Every time Waller activated the shock feature on the inhibitor collars, I was one of the few inmates that was unaffected. I had briefly thought that it was Waller didn't want to shock me, but it turns out that my collar wasn't on the regular system."
"Just like Raven's. What was your collar's modification?"
"A psychic block. Waller literally altered my memories to forget what she actually did to me. It's right in my collar, so see for yourselves." Animal Man grabbed Ravager's cut-off collar, revealing what looked to be a miniature jammer on the inside.
Starfire wondered, "So what did Waller want to hide from you?"
As her memories started to come back to her, Ravager explained, "I take it you know that Waller's been trying to eliminate my dad and family because he wanted to leave."
"We do, Rose. We know about Kabuto Island."
"But you don't know the full picture."
I was just a child, maybe eleven, when Waller sent a strike force to decimate the island. It was a peaceful place, no conflict, no military, everyone lived in harmony. I lived there with my mother, Lilian Worth, and her boyfriend.
One day, airplanes started to fly over the island. That was somewhat normal as planes always did fly over Kabuto Island, but they also dropped bombs, which was not normal. It was a massive bombing run that leveled more than half of the community, killing close to half of the inhabitants, including my mom's boyfriend.
Realizing that more forces were on their way, they sent us, the children, to hide in an underground bunker that had been previously built by the Americans back in the 1950's. We thought we would be safe there, and hoped that the bombs were just an accident.
Oh how wrong we were.
Less than twelve hours later, Waller's forces, an army of Ultimen clones, stormed the island. I didn't see the battle, but from what I saw afterwards, it was a total slaughter. Everyone still in the village was killed, men and women, most of them just civilians, including my mother.
It took them a few hours to find the bunker, despite it being soundproof from the inside. They sent in explosives, taking out several of us before they burst in. But not men, they sent in bullets, thousands of bullets, ripping through each child like a knife through hot butter. The only reason I survived was because I hid beneath the bodies of the other children. There were more than sixty children inside of the bunker - I was the sole survivor.
Then, to cover up what they did, another bombing run annihilated any traces of life present. I stayed in the bunker for another day before I left to see just what Waller had done to my village. My mother was dead, so my only chance now was to go locate my father, a soldier from what she had told me. From what little material remained on Kabuto, I fashioned myself a small boat with some food and water, hoping I could make it to America.
I lasted two weeks on the boat with the few supplies I had before it started to sink. Just as I thought my life was going to end, struggling in the Pacific Ocean, a man swam out and grabbed me, bringing me to his boat. Not long after I woke up, I learned that he was my father, and at that time, my only living relative.
For four years, he trained me to become an assassin just like him, performing dozens of assignments for him. However, that all ended with Detroit when I was captured. I was given false memories of being in county prison before being shipped off to Belle Reve, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth.
I was taken to one of Waller's facilities where I was tortured for information. Repeated lashings to my back, brutal beatings, waterboarding, electrocution, and so much more. They left me completely naked in a cold metal room for at least a week, suffering from the cold and sleep deprivation - that was the worst torture I endured there. Regardless of what they did to me, I managed to hold out and gave nothing to them despite all of the horrors they did to me.
After they got word that my father had been pronounced dead, which was likely after the Terra incident, Waller had me shipped off to Belle Reve with my false memories being the official story. I woke up there with barely any memory of what had happened in the past several months, nor of what she had done to me. I was surrounded by hundreds of fellow criminals, many of whom had a grudge against my father.
They treated me initially as they had treated Raven, beating and attempting to rape me. I had to fight just to survive.
One day, about eight months into my imprisonment, I was attacked by Mantis, trying to kill me like Rampage and Knockout did with Raven. He was the top dog in Belle Reve, the inmate most of the others feared.
With the inhibitor collars on, he had the clear advantage on me, even without his Apokoliptan powers. It was a long, grueling battle, but it didn't end until I beat him to death with my bare hands. After that, all of the other inmates feared me and most of them backed off.
All Cyborg could utter in response to Ravager's story was, "Holy shit."
Nightwing then commented, "While you are a killer Rose, I wouldn't have gone to those extremes, especially if it was meant to hurt your father. If Waller did have you imprisoned like that, I can guarantee if we get through this, that we can bring it up with the court and get your release. After all, it is one hell of a technicality."
Ravager noted, "Thanks, but what makes you think we will get out of this? Waller will hunt us down, so what will make her stop?"
Animal Man pulled out a USB and said, "We downloaded all of her files, everything that proves she was behind the Cadmus conspiracy, that she's been plotting the elimination of anyone in her way."
"You guys really are quite savvy." Cyborg grabbed the USB and plugged it in to his miniature computer and began pulling up all of the files downloaded.
"Everything's here, Gar. From the Task Force X authorizations to the modified inhibitor collars, even how she reconstructed and retooled Brainiac. Everything we need to bring her down once and for all."
"By the way, have you got any news about dear old dad?"
Nightwing explained, "From what he told us, he's going after Brainiac in the Andes."
"So you really did work with him. He actually did help with my escape. For so long, I thought he abandoned me."
"He thought you were dead. That's what Waller had officially reported. That allowed her to keep you detained in Belle Reve as her prisoner."
Not long after, Raven slowly started to stir, beginning to awaken after spending several hours unconscious. Fluttering her eyes open, she soon realized she wasn't in Belle Reve anymore. She placed her fingers along her neck and saw the inhibitor collar was gone and also saw that along her arms were two IVs which led to bags.
Before she could try to remove it, Ravager put a hand on her hand and said, "Don't, Raven. Just trust me."
Noticing her cellmate's change in attire, Raven asked, "What's going on?"
Then, she heard a very unexpected voice. "We busted you out of the Belle Reve."
"Starfire?" Moving her head around, Raven then saw Cyborg and Animal Man inside of the van. Cyborg remarked, "Good to see you, Rae."
"Why did you break me out? And why did you wait so long?"
From his position in the driver's seat, Nightwing explained, "We didn't have a choice, Raven. Harley framed you from day one, bringing the Joker here so they would force you to commit those crimes and making you take the fall and sending you off to Belle Reve."
"You didn't completely answer my question."
"The set-up was only part of the story. What made a jailbreak a necessity was that you were being injected with a concentrated form of the Demon's Hand, thereby making you a Cadmus pawn in their plot against metahumans."
"Cadmus? Amanda Waller, of course. Head of Cadmus."
Animal Man asked, "Wait, not even the Justice League knew that. How did you?"
"I read many of Batman's reports about Argus. When I first met Waller, I guessed that she was the former head of Cadmus, something she didn't bother correcting me on."
"She overestimated our intellects, then, which is why she moved so slowly with all of the killings."
"So how did you get me out and fake my death?"
Cyborg answered, "We used a sedative to give the appearance of death."
"How did you even get it in?"
Animal Man answered, "Slade. He was the only other person that could have helped us that had as much invested in this as we did. He delivered Ravager the sedative."
"So how did you administer it? I was watching you throughout the riot, Rose."
"I didn't administer it, Raven. Livewire did. She was the only person I could trust to do it, and she would be above suspicion because while I get along with you and her, she doesn't necessarily get along with you. Of course, we also used Cheetah to make it look like you died in the brawl."
"So how did you get them to cooperate?"
"Livewire gained more respect for you after you orally pleased her, when she stopped harassing you. As for Cheetah, your verbal beatdown of Rouge and Frost got her on board."
At a location disclosed from the states, an old man in his 60s was getting bored. He has been in this place for weeks and he hasn't been doing much of action. He was a computer operator as he checks in on the computer to make sure there aren't any viruses.
"This is getting tiresome." the old man said as he taps in on his computer. Of all his years, he never knew how boring this can be, checking up on for any hackers trying to get in on sensitive information, being that he wasn't a computer engineer and was just performing routine checks. It was especially boring as his employer was nowhere to be seen.
But that's where it all change when something came up with the computer. Curious, the old man looks at what popped up in the computer as he checks in the contents. His eyes widen as he realize what it is.
"Great Scott!" he shouts as he brings out a USB Drive and insert it into his computer as he downloaded the information. After he downloaded the information, he head out of the base as he head down to his jeep. He drove his jeep out of the parkway as he drove towards to a military base.
At the military base, a guard watches a jeep driving towards to the base. The jeep stops as coming out of it was the old man whom place his USB drive in his pocket as he heads down towards to the gate until he was blocked by the guard.
"Halt! You are not allowed here!" the guard told as the old man gives the guard a sucker punch to the face, causing the guard to be knocked out.
"Apologizes, but I don't have time for this shit!" the old man said as he grabs the guard's ID to get it scanned as the gate opens. The man then heads down to the base where he sees a military helicopter. Smiling, he heads down to the helicopter as he gets inside of it, hijacking the helicopter as he take in the controls and flies out of the military base, heading to who knows where.
Back at the Cadmus base in the Andes, Slade kept his assault rifle aimed at Rick Flagg while putting his blaster staff towards his half-brother Wade LeFarge. Cadmus clearly knew that their asset here, Brainiac, would be in danger, so they sent two of their best operatives to guard him, meaning this was going to be a vicious fight ahead. While Slade bet he could handle either of them alone before, but now it was a completely different story. LeFarge had received the boost of the super-serum, giving him enhanced strength, healing, and reflexes while Flagg had an exo-suit that granted him extra strength and endurance. And if he was to take out Brainiac, he had to beat them both.
Soon, LeFarge took off against Slade only for the mercenary to blast him away with his staff. However, this also left him open for Flagg to deliver a punch to Slade's backside, causing him to crash into a wall. Watching LeFarge get back up towards him, as well as Flagg closing in, Slade knew he couldn't take on each of his opponents one-on-one - he had to fight them both at once, regardless of how difficult that might be.
Trying to buy some time to think through how to win, Slade fired the assault rifle at Flagg, but the rounds almost bounced right off the exo-suit. Realizing the rifle was basically useless against Flagg, Slade switched to the blaster and fired it towards Flagg, scoring a hit on the suit's chest, but it did nothing to slow the thing down.
Switching from the blaster to the sword, Slade swung it at Flagg, forcing him to back up and re-strategize, but in the process, LeFarge advanced on Slade and attacked him with a katana, forcing Slade on the defensive as he fought back against his brother in law. The two swords clashed with neither gaining much ground on the other.
Slicing a line in LeFarge's upper leg, Slade charged ahead in an attempt to finish that fight, but the wound he inflicted healed almost as fast as it was inflicted. So much for the wear and tear strategy - he would have to inflict much more critical damage if he was to stop his half-brother.
Just before Slade could launch another attack, Flagg threw a hand grenade at him. Slade threw the grenade back, only for it to explode harmlessly. Wondering just where Flagg had gone, he soon realized that Flagg was now behind him, delivering a brutal punch to Slade's back and forcing him to drop the sword. Switching to his handguns, Slade aimed at the exo-suit's joints, hoping to cripple it. After a couple of high-powered rounds impacted, it became clear they were about as useless as the assault rifle.
Instead, turning around, Slade opened fire on LeFarge, hoping to at least slow him down with a couple of high-caliber bullets. Of the dozen or so rounds he shot at his half-brother, he was able to intercept seven of them and a couple of them just missed him, leaving just two that impacted him, one in the hip and one in the shoulder. With the guns clicking empty, Slade tossed them aside and then charged right back at LeFarge with his sword, making sure to avoid Flagg until LeFarge was down for the count. While he would prefer this being a one-on-one fight, Slade doubted that was going to happen. Unless he made it so.
Now, who would be better to take out first? LeFarge or Flagg? On one hand, he would have to fight a fresher version of himself with healing, super-reflexes, and enhanced strength. On the other, he'd have to take on a massive exo-suit that was far more powerful than he could ever hope to be.
Taking on LeFarge it is then. Slade countered all of his half-brother's blows, but he couldn't get a blow in himself as his reflexes were just too fast. Then, LeFarge began to speed up his strikes, moving much faster than Slade, getting a number of devastating hits on him, slashing him several places across the chest and legs. Slade was barely able to keep up with LeFarge, who kept charging and leaving him no room to advance or work with.
Then, LeFarge lunged in for the kill, and Slade barely got out of the way in time as his half-brother impaled his sword into the wall. Realizing that he now had an opening, Slade kicked away LeFarge before charging forward with his own sword, slashing it towards him - LeFarge's speed being the only thing keeping Slade's sword out of his body.
Slade moved in to kill LeFarge, only for him to be knocked away by Flagg, causing him to drop the sword. Taking advantage of a weakened Slade, LeFarge ran up towards him, tackling him and began to brutally punch him in the throat. Slade responded by head-butting him with his mask, causing him to stumble back long enough for him to get up and potentially regain the offensive.
Slade followed up with a brutal uppercut to LeFarge's jaw, causing him to crash into a wall. Charging forward, LeFarge saw his half-brother coming at him with everything he had. Ah, the power of unbridled rage.
Slade pummeled LeFarge with repeated blows to his head and throat only for LeFarge to counter with a kick to Slade's chest, and soon LeFarge was handing Slade an epic beatdown, brutally punching and kicking him down onto the ground. Though Slade tried to stay tough, he was forced to let out several cries of agony from all of the pain he had been dealt.
Thinking that his half-brother was down for the count, LeFarge grabbed Slade up so his arm surrounded his neck, intending to snap it. As he prepared to kill Slade, LeFarge taunted, "Bet you didn't see this with your only fucking eye."
Slade countered, "Maybe you should try it." Then, Slade jabbed two of his fingers into LeFarge's eye, causing him to scream as Slade plucked it out of the socket, tossing it onto the ground.
In extreme pain from the loss of his eye, LeFarge was forced to drop Slade, putting his hand over the empty socket in an attempt to curb the bleeding. Slade then took advantage of this, sending his half-brother to the ground before pushing his neck directly into the path of LeFarge's sword, which was still impaled in the wall.
Pushing his neck into the sword, it failed to go completely through the first time, forcing Slade to pull him out and then force a second slice, which finally decapitated him.
With Wade LeFarge dead, Slade could now turn all of his attention towards Rick Flagg, who he still had to take down before he could pursue Brainiac.
The inside of the Belle Reve prison was a total mess. There are some villains dead from left to right as they're being escorted to the morgue. Most of the inmates alive were sent back to their cells in line while the guards had their guns aiming at them. The inmates knew that there will be consequences for this act, but the topic they'll be talking about tonight is about one specific inmate who was killed in the hands of Cheetah.
In Waller's office Amanda Waller stood in her seat. She didn't like bad news, especially if it involves her goals.
"I do not like this one bit." Waller said as she looks over Raven's papers. "I can't believe that my puppet is dead." she looks over the papers, as she sees Raven's morgue papers to sign away her death declaration. "There goes controlling the perfect assassin. This will be a set back for my plans."
"I wouldn't think so." said the Deputy Warren as he enters in her office.
"What is it, Economos?" Waller asked as the man comes to sit at her desk.
"Raven's "death" is very unfortunate, Ms. Waller." Economos states as he reach out of his pocket to bring a bag of sedatives out and place it on Waller's desk "This was found during the spot of Raven's death took place. That little devil tricked us all tonight, Amanda."
Seeing the sedatives, Waller gives a look of anger. She didn't like being tricked this way nor did she like it when her plans are going to be foiled by heroes. "Raven's still alive." she said placing her hands together with her head over them. "The Titans must've broke her out. And by only one prisoner missing, its safe to say that they also got Ravager as well. That means her father knew we kept her alive, and now she's remembering everything that happened on Kabuto Island."
"There's also some matters at Peru." Economos informs "Slade is fighting to bring Brainiac Down, and Wade LaFarge is dead, leaving Flagg to deal with the mercenary."
Waller looks down as she grits her teeth. "Hamilton. He must've leaked information to the Justice League. Call Deadshot to get Hamilton killed."
"He's already dead. The authorities founded his body at the Blue Mesa Dam. That bastard killed himself before we can do the job."
"Then it looks like we go to a different plan, if it works." Waller then pulls out a laptop from under her desk as she opens it. She powers it up by connecting it with the charger as she begins to start connecting to the Demon's Hand.
"Are you sure the Demon's Hand is of any use even if the Titans knew about the injections?" Economos asked being unsure.
"Not enough of it had been removed to really matter." Waller reassures him as she types in her laptop, giving in the commands.
"Kill the Titans and Ravager."
In the woods at the coroner's van while Cyborg was driving away from Belle Reve. The Titans all sat in place as Raven is still hooked in with the IV to expel the Demon's Hand out of her. But unknown to the Titans and Ravager, the empath heard some hypnotic words as her pupils shrunk.
'Kill the Titans and Ravager.' she heard in her mind.
It was then Raven's eyes turned blue.
We're in the last two chapters of the story and we've got a wave of cliffhangers - Slade versus Flagg and Brainiac and now the Titans have to go up against a mind-controlled Raven.
