A.N. Since no one told me who they want to see and I can't think of how to continue with Dorene here is Mia and her side of the story again. Also sorry that I haven't updated once during this whole vacation it is just that my mother changed the password again and I am lazy enough where I don't ask her to log me in I just wait for someone else to get logged in so there is my excuse not on with the long awaited chapter.

Chapter 27

The three of us were lucky the night before because we were able to just barely beat Mr. Crepsley back to the hotel and make appear like we never left when he got back, and this morning I was about ready to fall face first into the snow if it weren't for Victoria's yelling and giggling.

I looked down at the fiery red head and smiled happy that she didn't have to worry about the beast lurking out at night but maybe that wasn't such a good thing because how do you protect someone from something without telling them about it. Victoria and I were walking around the town when a muffled yell sounded from behind us.

"Mia, Victoria wait for me!" I turned and see the covered up snake boy running towards us. Victoria runs up to meet him half way and from where I stand I can hear her calling him a sleepy head and asking him if he secretly goes out at night and has a girl friend. At that comment I fall to the ground laughing forgetting for a moment just how tired I am.

The day goes on as if there isn't some kind of killer draining people of blood but if you look closely at people you can see fear in each and every one of their eyes. I know that the fear lingers and there is nothing that these people can truly do but still the fact that the little kids can still smile even when their parent's know of the threat it tells me that the parents haven't told their child of the threat either just like me with Victoria.

By the time we were wet and cold from the snow and inside our hotel room relaxing my hair was once again a tangled mess and Victoria was once again trying with all her might to brush through it , but at this point in time I was quite happy that she was so persistent when it involved my hair.

Darren came into the room as Victoria, Evra and I were watching Cartoons and Victoria now in the process of getting my mane of hair into little individual braids that would soon be put into one large one. Darren sat down casually and joined us as we continued to watch the cat trying and failing to get the mouse.

*Time Skip*

I sat in bed trying to get a few hours of sleep at the most but all that I accomplished was nothing, not even a wink, but I decided to give up and wait for the usual footsteps that came when Mr. Crepsley was leaving the room and it didn't take long for those to come the door to open and close, next thing you knew The three of us were getting dressed and heading out hoping to catch up to him before he got too far.

As we were catching up I realized just how close to Christmas we were, what with a large tree in the center of town and lights hanging every where it was something to behold if you've never really seen anything like it before. Sadly I had to turn away from the lights and focus on the task at hand.

The three of us managed to trail Mr. Crepsley back to the factory and sat for what seemed like hours as her just stood and starred at the large building. I sat nearly nodding off a few times not really paying attention to anything right now until I heard Evra yelling in a whisper at Darren.

"Where'd you get that!" I looked up and saw a large rusted butcher knife held in Darren's hand. I starred at the blade and began picking the parts of the conversation that I missed as the two boys continued talking. I continued staring off into space and finally fell asleep, next thing I know I am being shaken awake and both Darren and Evra are starring down at me.

"Mia, are you going be okay?" Darren asks with concern, I nod than stand up unsteadily on cold and tired legs that still haven't woken up yet. I fall over and catch myself before I hit the ground and look up at the concerned expressions of Darren and Evra. I reach into my pocket and pull out my cell.

'Sorry just over did it on the nocturnal blood I'll be fine tomorrow night.' I show them the message and put the cell phone back into my pocket.

Evra and Darren share a glace and I finally get to my feet and the three of us begin making our way back to the hotel. In the elevator I nearly fall asleep again but with both Evra and Darren constantly shaking me I manage to make it back to the room.

In the room the lights are still off and the sleeping for of Victoria in found curled up under the blankets where even her face is covered and I find myself wondering how she is able to breathe like that. I smile and make my way back to my spot on the floor. Evra and Darren are whispering something behind me and I catch my name a few times but then the fatigue finally catches me and I all but fall to the floor.

I groggily wake up still tired but I refuse to sleep anymore and what I see is Victoria Evra and Darren all sitting on the beds silently watching the TV which has the volume on low. I look to Victoria who is clearly trying to stay quiet and then I look at Darren and Evra who are whispering to each other.

I sit up and draw the attention of the three to me and "Mia's awake!" Victoria suddenly gets quiet then nearly explodes as she jumps up and down in place "I Lose! I Lose!" I look at Darren and Evra for an explanation.

Evra shrugs "We thought you could use some sleep so we challenged Victoria to a contest to see who could be quiet the longest." I nod getting it than look at the digital clock on the bed side table. Almost time to go.

The four of us continue to sit watching the TV Victoria mad since she couldn't braid my hair tonight seeing as how it was never messed up. And then Victoria fell asleep and Crepsley left, I was still tired but refused to give up on the chase maybe it was the beast inside of me, the one that helped in the death of Sam. I shook my head at the thought of that and followed Evra out the door.

Evra stopped in the open door and yelled back at Darren who was still packing his bag I didn't hear what either of them said but I waited for them at the elevator holding it open for them.

We followed Mr. Crepsley to the factory and saw him climb in through a window, the three of us quickly followed suit. Darren jumped down and caught Evra who followed I just simply jumped and rolled on compact.

The three of us snuck through the building following close behind Mr. Crepsley and watched as he followed the fat man into a room that smelled like fish and the blood that had been draining out of it for weeks and my nose began burning at the scent.

Darren passed and turned to face us. "You two have to wait here. And if I fail….." Darren paused as if trying to figure out what he wanted to say next, than when looking at the door that was still closing he continued. "If I don't make it it's been nice knowing you both."

Evra and I both looked at Darren shocked at what he was saying then Evra said what I wish I could say. "Be Careful." I nodded in agreement. Darren commented on how he hasn't been able to teach us about Christmas yet and on the off chance that he didn't make it told us to look in the drawers at the hotel, and with that he ran off saying he'd be back in a bit but I had a large amount of doubt about it.

When Darren left Evra and I made our way to a place where we could hide from any of the workers who might find us. As we were walking I noticed that Evra was shivering really badly so I shrugged off my coat and handed it to him. He turned and smiled at me then shivered when he saw me standing in just a loose fitting tank top and baggy cargo pants the type of outfit I wear in the winter.

I watched as he put my large over sized coat on and the two of us began walking once again then found a spot behind a bunch of boxes and pipes to hide behind.

About two minutes passed and the cold was finally getting to me I found myself shivering every once in a while and the whole day of sleep I had gotten turned out to not be enough as I once again began to yawn and then doze off.

I tried to stay up so that Evra wasn't by himself so to say in this place but it was getting harder and harder to stay up, that is until I heard footsteps coming towards us, I leaned over Evra who I now noticed is once again shivering, even in my coat, and look out past the boxes and see a large figure walking toward us, I know it isn't human by the fact that it has purple skin, I shake Evra trying to warn him about the creature coming towards us but he is shivering to much that my shaking him goes unnoticed. I grab my cell phone and set up the camera just as the beast comes within the distance where I can smell a pungent odor coming from it.

I flip my cell back towards me and investigate the beast. I notice that the skin is in fact purple as well and the nails which are long and sharp like Darren's and Mr. Crepsley's.

Its eyes are red and its hair is just as red, looking at the hair reminds me of Victoria with her hair being just as bright red, it suddenly dawns on me that this thing must be the reason that Crepsley was wary around Victoria when she first joined the Cirque.

I place the Cell behind me on the ground positive that it is coming for us, and I need some way of telling Darren what happened in case we are not here when he comes to get us. I climb back over Evra and push him to the wall hoping to give him time to realize he needs to get ready to fight or run or something.

I continue to watch as the purple beast continues to walk towards us and I get into a fighting stance as best as I can in my crutching position. I was yelling at Evra in my head knowing full well that he wasn't going to hear me even if I tried to yell at him.

I got ready to pounce as it got a foot away but it appeared to be ready for me and just as I got up and sprang at it trying to knock it over it grabbed the front of my shirt holding me in mid air and then it breathed right into my face and at that point I realized to late that it was some sort of mutated vampire.

And as much as I tried to struggle to stay conscious I could already feel my limbs grow heavy and then I was dropped unceremoniously onto the floor and I had to watch as the beast did the same to Evra and then my vision began to blur and my world turned black.

A.N. Yay an update I am so happy I can't even believe it…. Oh wait yes I can but oh well. Also if you want me to try for Dorene next time tell me and I will try otherwise I will just continue with Mia. Now please review before the next chapter is up or it will be a long time before said chapter comes up. And nooneneeds2know I will try to update Forced Meeting next.
