"Indeed," She said with a smile and then began walking as everyone began to disperse. She was pleased when he followed her. "You act like your daughter was stolen from you."
He narrowed his eyes. "She was not stolen; I gave her away to an honorable human male."
She slowed slightly so that they were walking side by side. "Sometimes giving away someone we love is like giving away a shard of ourselves." She replied.
He looked at her again, studying the miko as they walked. "Perhaps so," He countered. "Is that how you felt when you let Inuyasha go?"
