"I don't know how I got myself into this, but somehow I ended up dress shopping- and I kind of liked it."
"Hey Roxas, what do you think of this one- are you even listening to me?"
I looked up at Kairi to see her in a pink and frilly dress- oh dear lord, Sora would die if he had to dress in something pink. "Uh- yeah, yeah, I'm listening. I… can't say that one is my favorite, Kai."
"Namine picked it out."
"Ah- she did?"
She laughs, "I'm just kidding, I was just trying to get you to snap out of it. Okay, give me another second." And at that, she's back in the dressing room.
Let me explain why I'm dress shopping on a Saturday instead of hanging out with my friends.
So my best friend, Namine, got dragged along with her sister Kairi to go dress shopping, and to my complete and total despair, let her drag me along to make the trip less horrible. And I so would've said no! But… I can't say no to her! She's just- I didn't want to hurt her feelings, and she's my best friend and I really like her and if I hurt her feelings, then she would probably cry, then I would feel even worse because she cried, and it's just a long circle of horribleness, so that's why I couldn't say no.
"Roxas?" I looked up from my phone to see the both of them in front of me. Kairi had a short, pale pink dress that made her look like she was old enough to go into a bar- which is amazing because she's pretty short and still looks like a fourteen year old to me. I gave her a quick look over again.
"I think that works- but what's Sora gonna have to wear?" That was another reason I was here; Sora wanted to make sure he didn't have to wear pink or any other color Kairi would've made him wear.
"Oh, he's going to be wearing whatever I pick out for him- I know he sent you here to make sure I didn't pick a color he would dread. Don't worry, I won't place the blame on you when he has to wear pink." She laughed, crossing her arms. "I'm buying it though, and there's no returns unless it doesn't fit- not because your date doesn't like it."
I shook my head and smiled, then looked over at Namine- oh dear jesus. She was wearing a white dress that almost went down to her knees, and the sleeves were like a bunch of little lace strap things. What? You expect me to be good at describing dresses?
"I- uh- wow, uh… you- you look great, Nam."
She smiled, "You really think so? I don't really think it's me, to be honest.."
"What are you talking about?! That dress is perfect, you're getting it!" Kairi shouted from the dressing room.
"I guess I have no choice but to get it." She said quietly enough for me to her, rolling her eyes at her sister. I laughed, then stood to go take the billion dresses Kairi was expecting me to put back.
"Not happening, sister." I said, pushing the dresses back into her arms. "Just leave them in the dressing room or something. I didn't come here to put dresses back."
She sighed and went back to the dressing room, "Actually… I kinda like this one." Here we go again...
WOAH WHAT EVEN HAPPENED THERE.
so I uploaded this like 5 minutes ago and went to check if I added all that I wanted to, and ff completely butchered the chapter! It did the same with Something More, too! Grrr this makes me kinda angry!
Anyways, I fixed it! So, I really hope you liked this one? There's only like 2 hinted pairings, but I thought the idea was cute when it accidentally turned into all of this, so whatever!
