She could have chosen to challenge him like she usually did, using her wit and words, but didn't want to ruin the moment. How many times had she daydreamed about this? Being held in his strong arms? This was not a dream, right?
Sesshoumaru dipped his head towards hers and inhaled with the scent of her hair. She smelled so clean, so pure; surely he would tarnish her by the filth of his youki. Or perhaps she would bring a new light to his darkness.
As much as he enjoyed the feeling of her against him, he had to go.
