Well this has been an awfully long time, so let me just update you on who I am if you can even remember! I'm Charlotte, I'm now 17, I live in the UK, I haven't seen iCarly since November 2012 when it ended, and I completely forgot about this until recently. I have finished Year 12, I am about to go into Year 13 and after that it's university for me! Sooo this came to me in a second and I wrote it in about half an hour. I'm really out of practice for writing stories but I hope you enjoy it anyway and let me know in the reviews! I really do aim to finish this fanfic one day...100 Days turned into 4 years...

Day 82: Here's to Sam and Freddie

For years I have seen them bickering and fighting and making each other lives miserable, but underneath all that, they were friends. Best of. Through everything they were there for each other: through Sam's work and food problems, and Freddie's tech issues or girl troubles (mainly with me), no matter the circumstance they relied on each other. That's why, when they finally realised how perfect they were for each other, although I was shocked, I never rejected or was actually surprised by it.

I remember when they first met in middle school – I was sitting with Sam in the cafeteria talking about which Fat Cake was the best Fat Cake: I voted low fat Fat Cakes and Sam came up with every possible argument against my judgement and even went as far to make a slide show on the reasons for and against what I'd said just two days after. Anyway, Freddie overheard our conversation and was about to agree with me until Sam shoved a full fat Fat Cake in his mouth, gave him and wedgie, and pushed him into a garbage can all within ten seconds. I didn't exactly praise her tactics but she's fast, I'll always give her that.

It took a few years after that first encounter, during the talent show fiasco where Freddie lent us his camera and Sam and I were messing around making fun of the contestants, that they actually became friends. If Freddie hadn't posted that video online we wouldn't have iCarly and the three of us wouldn't have had a friendship. I'm a sucker for omnipotent feelings like fate and destiny, and this definitely was one of those times. I don't even want to know where I would be without my two best friends, and I definitely don't want to think about where they would be, especially without each other. Freddie would probably still be living with his crazy mom – no offense Mrs Benson – and Sam would be in prison for stealing something not even worth much but fighting the police officer that cuffed her. Well, I'm definitely glad they could save each other from that.

We'd seen them together before – all those years ago when we were 17 and still figuring out what love was. They tried, they were happy, but they failed. Not because they weren't right for each other, but because they weren't ready. Neither of them had even had serious relationships before so maybe they dived in too deep, too quickly, but even then our friend fate led them back to each other and a few years later in college where they figured it out. I remember Sam told me it went something like this: at the time Sam was attending a community college in LA after her and Cat's babysitting dream ended, but because she had handed in an assignment a day late she had to volunteer at a technology convention, checking in the invited guests. That's where fate stepped in…as she was going through the list of invitations, without looking up she called "next!" in that bored voice we have all heard Sam speak in, whomever she may be talking to, and was answered with "Sam?". That's where they saw each other again, after all that time of barely talking and wishing to see each other again but both being so busy, they had found each other. Someone was definitely rooting for Seddie.

So, they were reunited, and from this, over several months came a reborn friendship, obvious teasing, constant back and forths of flights between Massachusetts and LA, a transfer for Sam to be closer, more kisses, more friends, and a lifetime of love to prepare for. They may have their ups and downs, definitely. That's a given with our Sam and Freddie, but what we will always know is how much these two care for each other, no matter how many Fat Cakes Sam forces into Freddie's mouth, or how many bumps there are in their road to a lifetime of happiness, I know that we all wish them the best of luck for their future.

Here's to Sam and Freddie, the best friends any girl could ask for. I don't know where I would be without you both and I wish you all the love and happiness that you both deserve on your wedding day. To Mr and Mrs Benson, fate has brought you together – I hope one day we will all be as lucky to have our best friends as our soulmates. I love you guys.

Review please, and hopefully I'll see you guys soon!
