Chapter 46

"Well, that little adventure to Vapos was a bust" Aerrow said dejectedly "So much for trying to find out more about your past"
Blinx was seated next to him, her chin laid on her hands as she watched Stork fly the Condor. She shrugged in response to Aerrow's words.

"I suppose it's not that big of a deal. I'm sure there's some other way of finding out"

"But how would we go about that?" Finn asked quietly from the other side of her.

Aerrow thought silently for a moment. He'd still to tell the others what Blinx had told himself and Finn. He'd just told them that they were checking up on things from before.

"I suppose we'll just have to go to Cyclonia and find out from Cyclonis" he stated.

Blinx sat up abruptly.
"I am not going back there! No! Surely there's another way of finding out information?" she asked loudly, causing the others present to stare at the three of them in strange gazed worry.
Aerrow smiled awkwardly as Finn did her best to calm her.

"Aerrow, buddy, don't you think you should tell the others?" Finn suggested in whispers "Junko was asking what we were doing back on Vapos and I couldn't think of anything to say"

"Still keep it quiet for now, until we have a better plan of action"

"What was your idea for going to Vapos anyway?" Blinx asked him

"I thought that, them being an older Terra, they may have picked up on some information or something. It was a long shot really-"

"But worth the shot" Blinx finished for him, sending him a small smile "I appreciate the effort. Really, I do"

"Um, not to interrupt your little conversation, but, I may have an idea" Stork spoke suddenly from behind them, making all three of them jump.

"How long have you been listening?" Blinx asked with worry.

"Enough. Oh, I should inform you that, these ears aren't just made to look good" he returned with his signature smirk. Blinkx hummed lowly in agreement.

"They're made to look cute too" she teased, making the other two laugh and Stork deadpan while his cheeks reddened, probably why the other two were laughing.

"Anyway, seeing as the book was written in Ancient Merbian, maybe it would be logical to go to Terra Merbia" he provided.

Blinx shook her head "That's just a result of being in another world. It's what they read and write"

Stork blinked "What?"

"Oh…right. You didn't know that part. Don't worry I'm not carrying anything, I promise"

Aerrow stepped in as the Merbs eye began to twitch.
"Stork, maybe you should get back to flying the Condor" he said, providing an out, which the Merb immediately took.

"Hey Aerrow, maybe we should find the Oracle" Finn suggested suddenly.

Aerrow shrugged "That was another reason we headed to Vapos. It was the next best thing to the Oracle. I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for it"

"Well, we could always start at the Forbidden City"

Aerrow looked at Finn curiously, as did Blinx.
"What?" Finn asked them

"I think he's silently asking if you took smart pills today" Blinx answered causing Finn to grin with pride.

"Looks like we're headed to the Forbidden City" Aerrow said to the pair "Stork, set course for the Forbidden City" he ordered.

Piper and Junko looked at him curiously.
"Why are we headed for the Forbidden City Aerrow?" Junko asked.

Aerrow merely grinned "We're going Oracle hunting"
