Chapter 50
Aerrow, Finn and Junko were in the main room of the temple, awaiting Piper's return. The rooms they'd previously searched had been empty, so there had been no use sticking around.
Aerrow briefly wondered where Radarr had gotten to, as he hadn't seen his co-pilot all morning.
"Well, I suppose there's no point sticking around here. We'll head back to the Condor and wait for the others to come back" Aerrow told them
"Who knows, they could be talking to the Oracle right now" Junko suggested "But that still doesn't explain what it is we're doing here"
Aerrow and Finn shared a look, Finn's being more pointed, making silent suggestion.
Aerrow scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"Well, you deserve to know. I'm not gonna go into detail, it's not for me to tell really, but...we're here for Blinx. She has some important questions that need answering"
"What kind of 'important questions'?" he heard Piper ask behind him, making him turn to her.
"Questions about her past?" Piper continued "Questions about her future? Or questions about who she really is?"
Her tone was accusing and seemed to imply something that her leader just had to question it.
"Piper, did you find out something?"
"Oh yeah, I found the Oracle...and I also found out something you might be interested to hear"
The thought process of the room was interrupted by static on the radio
"Piper? Aerrow? Finn? Anyone?"
Aerrow made his way to his skimmer "What is it Stork?"
"Uh, Aerrow, did you know that Digger knew about Blinx? Everything about Blinx?" Stork spoke down the line, emphasizing 'Everything'
"No" Aerrow informed
"Did you also know that he's known since Cyclonia?"
"No"
Piper snatched the communicator from Aerrows hand
"Did you know that her name's actually Angelique?" she stated with urgency "Stork, she's Cyclonis' sister!"
The looks she received from her fellow Storm Hawks told her that they didn't know either.
There was no answer from Stork. When she called to him he didn't answer.
She hoped she hadn't just killed him.
