Chapter 57
Everything was blank for a bit as she lay on the dusty floor, blank and black.
She was only just regaining the use of her senses when she was violently shaken from her faint.
"C'mon you stupid idiot, wake up! Don't you be dead on me, eh!"
"If you don't quit shakin' me, you will be!" she spat back, taking hold of Diggers collar. She didn't realise it was him until she opened her eyes, then she launched herself around his neck in a tight hug.
"I'd rather be dead and know that you're alive" he said quietly. Blinx scoffed.
"No, you wouldn't, you wouldn't be able to rock out then" they chuckled to each other and Digger helped her to stand.
She looked to those that were with him, which consisted of Aerrow, Junko, Piper, Suzy Lu and Billy Bones, one of the other boys from the Absolute Zeroes.
The girls of the Zeroes and Billy Rex must've stayed on the Condor with Stork and Finn.
Radarr bounced off Aerrow's shoulder to her feet, hugging her calf "Thanks for your help Radarr"
Radarr squawked happily, not seeing the disapproving look Aerrow sent him.
"But it was good though. I saw her"
Piper stared at her with wide eyes "Who? The Oracle!?"
Blinx nodded.
"Aw, and I didn't get the chance to ask my questions" Junko said dismally, earning a light, friendly nudge and a sad smile from his other female friend.
"Well, what did she say?!" Aerrow inquired eagerly
Blinx shrugged "Not much, not anything really, but she did help. She said I need to find someone. Someone who knows me"
Digger, who was still holding her, gripped her a little tighter, thinking that she was referring to Cyclonis.
"I can't remember anything much right now. Everything's a little fuzzy" Blinx stated
"Well, we did find you out cold" Suzy Lu put in "Do you remember what happened before we found you?"
Blinx shrugged again, leaning into Digger, who had lightened his grip again.
"I just really wanna get back to the Condor" she said with strain…plus she really wanted to try out her new projection power.
"That's probably a good idea" Aerrow stated "And when we get back, you and I are going to have a talk"
"Yeah, we are" Blinx agreed, looking pointedly hard at him "A good, long talk"
