Naïve

After closing the door to their room, she ripped the pins from her bun and threw them on the floor. How stupid could she be? How did it not don on her that Inuyasha knew what he was talking about? He never told her to stay away from him, well, never actually said anything to her about dating him, but hadn't he always said he was a cold, heartless bastard? This was the first time she had seen a glimpse of it since Naraku had died, much less have it directed at her.

Frowning, she leaned back against the door.
