They leapt and soared and positively flew, and Kagome found herself suddenly grateful for the way Youko had positioned his arms around her, hiding her from the wind. Usually when she found herself tumbling through the sky it was on Inuyasha's back. Although in some sense comparable to her journey now, this time, the view was so much more. She had never really taken the time to pay attention to the landscape around her, although she couldn't figure out why that was. Feudal Japan offered something she hadn't had much chance to notice – an overgrown earth. Tokyo was all pavement and metal and noises. For the first time in some while, Kagome had a chance to catch her breath. She found the opportunity dizzying.
