She let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. Of course he wouldn't have hurt her on purpose. "I wish I would have known your etiquette, Sesshoumaru. But, regardless, I wanted to walk with you to the party. I wanted to hold your hand like people do in my time."

"Males escort their woman to their introduction party?" He asked. "They have physical contact during the event?"

"We don't really having introduction parties, but I would think it is like something we have called an engagement party. But yes, it's considered weird if you don't come in together."
