"Oh, I had no idea," She blinked. "It's not like that in my time."

"The blame is not yours, it was supposed to be taught to you," He commented. "Our worlds are very different it seems." When she nodded, he continued. "Is there anything else that has bothered you tonight?"

Her face flushed and she pursed her lips together. She knew what she was about to say was very childish, but she had fussed and worried so much about it, that she needed to say it. "You didn't comment on how I looked tonight…" Her voice was small and shy.
