Sesshoumaru waited for her to exit their room and then took her hand in his. At her confused look, he gave a slight tilt of his head, a knowing smirk on his lips. "Did you not just finish telling me that this was your way to enter together?"

She blinked at his words before giving him a loving smile. She laced their fingers and felt her heart flutter in joy. He was doing this for her, to make her feel more comfortable, even though it was against the strict customs he was raised with.

How did she get so lucky?
