The pair made their way into the festival and Kagome winked at Rin, who winked back and ushered the children to a snack hut where they were selling steamed buns. Now that Sango was alone, the miko elbowed the monk to make his move.

He swallowed nervously before slowly making his way over to his wife. When he approached her, he gave a weak smile and placed his hand on the small of her back. "Are you having a good time, my sweet?"

She stiffened and stepped away from his touch. "Not really; I am only here for my brother."
