She blushed before her lips frowned into a sad smile, oblivious to the presence a few feet behind her. "I can see how someone may think that if they didn't know him," She commented softly. "Heck, when I awoke from my accident, I thought the same thing."

Rin's chocolate brown eyes darted from Kagome's sad face to the intently listening figure behind her. "Kagome-sama…"

"But, I know better now," She said, a smile spreading across her pink lips. "I may not remember everything with him from before my injury, but I'm positive I know him better than most people do."
